The thing I would change is more staff to clean the rooms in the morning hours instead of mid afternoon. Also, there were exposed wires underneath my ac unit and my little ones were very curious about them. Definitely need to address that. Other than that I really liked this hotel. Loved the distance from there to the boardwalk and also the pool was great too! I’d stay here again for sure, they just need to make some adjustments, especially with the exposed wires.

The hotel is a registered historic building, so it’s not modern. BUT the room was freshly painted and super clean. Fixtures were a little dated, but again, clean and well cared for. 2 minute walk to the boardwalk, and in easy walking distance to restaurants, etc. we parked our car when we arrived and didn’t move it until we checked out. My only complaint is they provide a coffee maker, but no coffee. Had to run to the bodega at 9:30 at night.

If on a budget this is definitely a great place to go, we went with two adults and two small children who used a pull out bed, when the pull out bed was open it was hard to access the door to the room and the fridge was unable to open, if you have patience to make it work it’s a great deal but if you are paying top dollar I would not recommend as we stay often in wildwood and other places have a tad bit more room, the other negative is we had to park in a lot around the corner but we had very easy access to the boardwalk! Also the pool is at the hotel across the street.

Covered the basics

I stayed for one night with my two sons (one adult son/one 12-year-old). It did the job. I was looking for something clean, close to the beach and quiet during normal sleeping hours. The room is small, but it worked for us. I wouldn't recommend if you are looking for all the bells and whistles. I would however highly recommend if you were looking to spend less for a place that is clean, close to the beach and boardwalk. Basically, somewhere descent to shower and crash after being out enjoying the fun.

Not a hotel, definitely a motel

Pay for the suite, it's not much more and the room is much bigger; the regular room is extremely small It was clean and everything worked fine, but if you're looking for a fancier place (hotel) this isn't it. For the going rate in the area, it was good. Only gripe was the pool...there wasn't one. We were allowed to use the pool at the Quebec Motel across the street. The pool was crowded, small, & there was no place to sit down or put your towel...except hang it on the fence.

Okay the room was across the street from the pool that was a cheaper room and would have been better to just have been moved but to be told that it would be more money that since I did it third party I would have to pay that’s ridiculous it was cheaper on hotels .com for the Quebec then the Calypso 155 and quebec starting at 99 so that didn’t make sense then to be told I would have to call hotelszcom to have to figure it out myself another 👎 so in all Debbie amazing person I just shook it off and really we enjoyed the pool the kids had so much fun and guess what we do it all again but next time I know book at the Quebec because the rooms are much bigger spacious the clasyso is just tiny rooms

Bottom Line! Stay Away!

When one thinks of a boutique hotel, one thinks of a small hotel that has been updated and refurbished to 2020s standard.Oh not this one. The facade looks good but the insides are straight out of the 1950s. Small rooms. A bathroom that had a leaky toilet that no doubt hasn't seen a plumber in 10 years. Cleanliness. How about a small potato under the air conditioner and a cherrio. One old old chair. Yes, a tv that worked. A clock in the room. Nah, why, when you can use a sundial. Cur tains. Well sorta, if you willing to pull a chair over, climb up and pull them over and rehang them, That bad. Yep. Thank god it didn't rain. There's no way any sane person could spend a rainy day in the room. And check in. At the hotel. Nope. Go across the street to a motel and check in. Nice folks but disengaged from the customer. Bottom line: stay away. A Wildwood dump -- probably like 85% of the hotels in that town. Would I return to Wildwood. Perhaps in another 50 years!!! Go to Cape May. Better, Lewes, DE.

Please don't stay here...BED BUGS!!!

There isn't anything positive I can say about this motel. My daughter and I decided to take a last minute trip to Wildwood, NJ for the July 4th weekend. It was pricey at $249 per night for a total of $624. For starters, the rooms are TINY. We were give a room with a double bed. Once we pulled our luggage in, there was no space to walk. The furniture is old, the carpet was dusty and the bed was hard. The motel was not secure as both the back entrance and front entrance doors were ajar all night. I was woken up several times of the night because there was a lot of noise (running, playing, banging, talking, etc.) in the hallway which finally stopped around 4 am. To top it off, while packing to leave there was a bed bug crawling on me. During checkout, I complained to the front desk the response was \"I'm sorry, its the fourth ofJuly weekend\" There is so much more to complain about but I am running out of space. Just please...do not stay here. FYI, they partner with the Quebec Motel and Kay West Motel.
