We stayed here while my daughter was playing in the Battle on the Beach Flag Football Tournament, and the location couldn’t have been more convenient. The man and woman at the front desk were both incredibly friendly and welcoming. I wish I had gotten their names so I could recognize them personally! The gentleman even gave my dog a toy, which was such a thoughtful gesture.

The motel is pet friendly and had free parking which was a huge plus. We had a great stay and are already planning to come back before the end of the summer. We’ll definitely be staying here again.

The only thing I’d mention is to be cautious with the shower water. In Room 11, the hot and cold labels appeared to be reversed, so turning the handle toward “cold” made the water extremely hot, while turning it toward “hot” made it cold. Once we figured it out, it wasn’t a big issue, but it could be confusing for other guests. The water gets extremely hot and could easily cause a burn if someone isn’t expecting it. I wanted to mention it so the staff can hopefully get it fixed for future guests.

Overall the place is an excellent location. Quick walk to boardwalk. Room was clean and definetly more homey than a standard hotel room. Tv didn’t work which was fine we didn’t really need it and the AC was loud but working… it was 100 degrees out so understandable. Great view of the fireworks off the deck. Also the poo is nice size and has small kiddie area sectioned off which was great for my son.

Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing stay. The room was not clean, and the bed was infested with bugs, making it impossible to sleep. By the time I discovered the issue, the front office was already closed, so I had no way to report it or request another room. As a result, I was forced to spend the night sleeping in my car. I hope the hotel addresses its cleanliness standards and provides a way for guests to get assistance after hours to prevent others from having a similar experience.

Property is at a good location close to the boardwalk. Room is small but clean. Only one usable pillow on each bed. There was a refrigerator which was nice. Not a lot of space in bathroom. Only 2 of us were staying in room. 4 people would have been pretty crowded. Staff were accommodating.

Great location right off the boardwalk by one of the piers, and is pet friendly. Decided to stay here for the price and we could bring our dog for a flat rate of $25 for the stay. Room was clean and the AC was great during the heat wave, although the walls were thin and you could hear people leaving the boardwalk in the middle of the night. Free parking was also great although the lot was tight at night when everyone was at the hotel. Would recommend!

Location, location, location. Right at the boardwalk & Moreys Pier. You can see the Friday night fireworks from your porch area. Nice path to beach. Close to all the stores, shops, restaurants. Nice pool. Friendly staff. Just 1 thing I recommend, if your not able to do stairs well, ask for room on 1st floor. Staff was friendly and helpful. Some say it's dated, I say Nostalgia. A plus was the full size refrigerator with freezer. And microwave. Hairdryer was supplied & coffee maker. Dunkin only block away on boardwalk. Would definitely stay again. Oh & pet friendly.

We love staying at the Island Breeze during the Barfoot Country Music Festival each year. It's location to the festival is excellent, the rooms are clean and spacious, the staff go above and beyond to help you or get you what you need, we can take our dog with us and not have to pay for a sitter and parking is included. They're pool is clean and refreshing, the refrigerator and freezer in the room are the perfect size for an extended stay and they even offer BBQ grills for your convenience out by the pool. It is like a home away from home when we are there each June. Can't wait till next year.

I think your dates are one day off as shown on the left side of my screen. I checked in September 20, 2025 and checked out the following day on Snday September 21, 2025 as such. Young man at the office was polite and helpfull. I stayed in room 301 and there was a strong unpleasant odor in the room, which is true of almost all of the old hotel rooms in North Wildwood. Bathroom sink was backed up from the very beginning and the hotel staff had to have known this and did nothing about this. Toilet area was rediculously small and my face was practically in the stopped up sink. Window curtain would not close all the way. I decided to just sleep on top of bed. Everytime I walked up the staircase I had to walk past a man who was constantly smoking a strong cigar. The parking spaces were way too close to each other and hard to park. The location was the only good thing about this hotel, close to boardwalk and right at the intersection where Jitney shuttle bus picked up people going to Irish Festival. My suggestion for this hotel is the same as my suggestion for most of the other hotels in North Wildwood: completely demolish this hotel and build a brand new hotel in the same location and ban any cigarette smoking on the premises. There are more non smokers in New Jersey than smokers. Completely separate a smoking hotel from a non smoking hotel. I paid $180.00 for one night and this hotel room should have only been $50.00 per night in the condition it was in.

Our stay was satisfactory. The property manager was extremely friendly and attempted to be accommodating. However, the room was extremely dirty all along the windowsill. The floor under the beds were filthy. The bathroom towel bar was hanging off the wall by two very
loose screw. The toilet seat was also very loose along with the sink faucet. We were afraid to use it for fear it would come apart and we'd have a flood. The towels and bed sheets were dingy. I know it's a beach motel but surely they can do a lot better to make the accomodations much cleaner and nicer.

No complaints from the staff, all very friendly and polite. It wasn't my lucky three days of stay. Unfortunately, there were some very rude guests making noise in the early hours of the morning and running in the hallway. It was scary. I asked the front desk to move me to a different floor, and they understood perfectly. Very poorly attended. Of course, the motel isn't to blame. But I don't recommend it for anyone looking for peace and quiet.

The hotel staff was very friendly and efficient.Originally we were put in the annex across the street on the opposite side facing a huge solar parking lot. I asked if we could be moved and the gentleman in the office was very accommodating. One thing I wonder is if we were moved to a less expensive room,why I was charged for the original room. The room itself was simply okay. It needs updating. It was horrible but wasn't appealing. The top of the dresser was somewhat sticky. The bathroom seemed clean but gave off a not so clean vibe. There was an envelope to tip the maid service,however, our second morning we left the room and when we came back that afternoon, our room was untouched. We left the following morning so I didn't understand what the maid was asking for. My uncomfortable bed was unmade and the room was untouched while we stayed there. The bed actually crinkled when you lay in it, like there was a plastic liner. The hotel is pet friendly,and I can see that a lot of people with dogs take advantage of that. I would HIGHLY suggest the hotel if you are bringing a dog or two with you. It works perfectly. The pool was cleaned thoroughly on our first night. I was sitting outside the room which was right next to the pool gate (didn't make for much of a view however it was better than the first room). The man spent 45min cleaning the pool which impressed me. Other guests grilled and left the utensils laying there,a hotel worker came and got them in order to clean them .

terrible, terrible! The mattress was old, worn with a hole in the middle. The mattress must be so old as it had broken springs and there was no bed cover. Just dingy sheets with an old brown blanket. The towels in the bathroom were dingy gray and worn out as well. This was the worst experience.

My family and I stayed at the island breeze motel over 4th of july weekend. The owner greeted us upon arrival and was very friendly and hospitable. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable we stayed here mostly because we needed a place that would accept our dog, this motel was great for that because it was located just a short walk from the dog beach and close to the boardwalk. I would recommend this place for a short stay.

Location is great. Steps from the boardwalk. Location is right at Sams pizza. We stayed across the street at the island breeze annex. The unit was clean, had a large refrigerator, microwave, sink, toaster, and coffee maker. Pool was refreshing and lots of chairs around. Only complaint is with daily service. Room was never really tidyed up by housekeeping, maybe I could have asked for vacuuming. I have 2 young kids so vacuuming is essential. I emptied my own trash in exchange for new trash bags, dirty towels never got picked up but we did get new towels every day.

Management did nothing/locked there office door and would not help us with.!we exited early to get away and were heckled and shouted at by young guests. We complained and they refused to give us a refund. Do not stay here they apparent only cater young underage kids !!

Room was a bit tight with little moving room for more than one person, but it was pretty homey.

The location was perfect with everything being within walking distance and being right off the boardwalk. This felt like the perfect location and we were able to just jump into the days activities, hassle free. Would definitely come back.

This location is great, but I don't think I will stay here again. The shower curtain was covered in mold, everything in the room felt damp, it was too small for a family of 4 (and we stayed in the rooms with the kitchenette). The coffee maker has a mold coffee pod inside when we got there. They don't take your wet towels and bring new ones, or offer any cleaning/trash services all weekend, which sucks when you're bringing sand and wet beach stuff back all weekend long.
