We found Summer Nites at the last minute and the reviews sold us so I would like to echo everything we read from others. Sheila was wonderful! The place was adorable with so much attention to detail. Very convenient location, lots to do (beach, bikes, boardwalk, games, restaurants). Most notable was Sheila’s attention to detail with ensuring her guests had a great time. Breakfasts were tremendous, as were the afternoon milkshakes, root beer floats, and hot pretzels! She was personable, welcoming, and even took pictures! Hot tub and fire pit area was also very relaxing.

What was truly notable were the number of return guests who were there. I can definitely say we will be coming back!! 10 out of 10!!!

My wife and I recently enjoyed a two night stay at Summer Nites. Sheila and her husband have a wonderful property with an amazing attention to detail around a 50s theme. They provided an extraordinary and filling breakfast each morning. Complimentary bike usage was a nice touch. We also took advantage of two hot tubs which was wonderful after a long drive. Location is only 2 blocks to the beach/boardwalk and an easy drive to several fun waterfront restaurants. We could not recommend this more if you are looking for a fun and unique stay while in the Wildwood area.

We stayed for one night as we were attending a surprise birthday party the next day. Just excellent, from the \"happy hour\" milk shakes and soft pretzels to the super friendly owner, Sheila, this was an awesome stay. We will absolutely go back for a longer stay! Even the smallest details were not missed. The authentic pinball machines from the 60's and 70's brought back a lot of memories! Great, great job Sheila and Rick!!

It’s a small, boutique style bed a breakfast place. We loved it. Very friendly and accommodating owners. We had some questions and got replays quickly and to the point. A lot of entertainment is included for free, including arcade room and probably a dozens of bicycles to choose from for exploring the neighborhood. Can only say one thing - I’m highly recommending Summer Night for everyone who want to have a quality romantic time. If I may suggest- before arriving or even during the check-in, ask for an upgrade options for extra cash - I think you’ll be very pleased and surprised with options.

A hidden gem. the outside is clean, organized and very inviting; the inside is an amazing trip back in time. Each room has a theme and it is tastefully decorated. The owners put so much thought in to each and every room. The rooms have beautiful murals and just the right amount of memorabilia. saving the best for last; Sheila could not have been any nicer or accommodating. jacuzzi, hot tub, pinball, juke boxes, 10 cent soda machine; bikes, towels, murals, old tv that works; comfortable room and pridefully clean. i wish i'd have found this place sooner; i hope they'll have us back.

The owner is a wonderful woman who works on-site. Everyone at the B&B was friendly and outgoing and made sure we felt welcome and comfortable. I could not imagine any way this stay could have gone better!

Checking in was a breeze. The owner gave us a quick tour of all the amenities and made sure we knew about breakfast times and options right away.

Great on-site parking and ease-of-access to our room at all hours.

Breakfast was amazing and served in a comfortable, cute 50s-style diner on-site. While we ate, our rooms were being cleaned--they time it so you don't have to worry about being out of your room at any specific time!

Unique, it definitely is. Each room has a theme: Elvis, 50s, 60s, 70s, and Life's a Beach. I stayed in the 70s room, disco ball included. Books and photos to relive the past, large and comfortable bed, private entrance, hearty breakfast in the morning, 50s theme in the common areas, and Sheila (innkeeper) is a blast. There's a hot tub in every room. I suspect some travelers will really appreciate that. In the arcade room, I did fall in love with the puck bowling machine. You're only two blocks from the ocean, and not far from Hereford Point. N Wildwood has a boardwalk like most coastal Jersey towns. I came off season and had a few lovely walks along the shore, during my mini vacation there.

I lied everything--for instance, the B&B has a 50's theme, and I wanted peace and solitude. Both were offered in abundance.

Check every box you want for an outstanding B&B: spotlessly clean; DELICIOUS and hearty breakfasts; instant support for health, honest suggestions,for local attractions; superb location; easy on-site parking; a perfect display of the 1950's theme; 4 PM refreshments like shakes, baked pretzels, root beer floats; a New Year's Eve Party that was fabulous--on theme but fun for all, a staff presented skit, a real mixture of guests and invited outsiders with a clear feeling of genial enjoyment among people you knew and people you didn't.

For me, however,, all these attractions take second place to the kindness and welcoming attitude of the staff: Sheila the Mother of Dragons and Hostess Extraordinaire; her mom Sandy the Blue Ribbon Breakfast Chef and Wisdom Dispenser; Trudy the Cleaner and Voice of Kindness; occasionally Danni the Chief Humorist and Creature from Below; and poor Rick, the quiet Pillar of Strength who somehow coexists with all these women.

After all what do guests want? Certainly we want the amenities and attractions, but more than anything else, we want the warmth of hospitable people who care for you and support you and make you feel at home.

Summer Nites does all of the above.

Sheila, one of the innkeepers made me feel at home. More importantly, I felt like I was provided with that southern hospitality. To illustrate, they cooked an excellent breakfast for me which included fruits that was nicely decorated. In addition, their coffee was also very good. In fact, I’m not even a coffee drinker and I asked for a second cup. Furthermore, my room was very clean and the staff was very organized. I have stayed at different motels/hotels in The Wildwoods for over 20 years and this was by far the best one ever! I will be sure to return to SummerNite.

We have stayed at Summer Nites two years in a row now and it has definitely become our go-to place in Wildwood. Location is great! Very close to the beach and boardwalk. Sheila is extremely friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is always absolutely amazing with fresh fruit, homemade bread, and two options for the main meal. She also offers refreshments in the afternoon - root beer float, milkshake, and soft pretzels. Summer Nites is very clean and unique with a lot of memorabilia. The rooms are themed - Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, etc. Also has a pool table and arcade with fun pinball and other games. We would definitely recommend staying at Summer Nites for an extremely fun and relaxing getaway!

This is such a cool B&B -- gorgeous house decorated with furniture and memorabilia from the 1950's and it's fun, fun, fun! Fantastic Labor Day Weekend B&B Stay in North Wildwood, NJ!

My wife and I have been together for 40 years since we were in high school so The 70's Room at Summer Nites in North Wildwood, NJ was an excellent choice for us! All of the rooms were sold out for the weekend but the couple in The Elvis Room had not checked in yet when we checked in Friday afternoon so Sheila was able to show us that room when we checked in on Friday afternoon 8/31/18 and it was even better!

This was our first stay in a B&B and we were pleasantly surprised at how comfortable our stay was. The breakfast was delicious and varied. Sheila's mom really outdoes herself in the kitchen. Cutest Bed and Breakfast fantastic value

I recently stayed at Summer Nites for a trip to Wildwood I took for my 27th Birthday. When I arrived at the location I was prompty greeted and welcomed by Sheila the owner of this location. She gave us a ton of information about the area and gave a walkthrough of the house. Sheila?s energy is immediately captivating and inviting, and gave a comfort and ease to an ultimately amazing experience.



The house is absolutely charming with fifties themed rooms and a doo app diner for breakfast. There?s a vintage coke machine downstairs in which she provided dimes for the sodas and she even provides bikes to ride if your up for it. There is also a jacuzzi upstairs on the second floor, although I was in the Elvis Suite so I had to luck to have my own hot tub in room.



The food was Definately one of the best parts of the experience the breakfast is like a three course breakfast, you start off with a fruit cup, then second with the loaf of the day, and then your main entree. Which you get to choose from two different choices each day, and the options change day by day. At 4 you even get a snack pretzels and your choice of a root beer float or milkshake. The food was homemade and delicious, my boyfriend and I both cleaned our plates each time. And most of all it saves you a ton of money on eating out.



The charm of this Bed and Breakfast, along with the deliciousness of the food, and the proximity to everything in the area, This is Definately going to be my go to place to stay next time I head down to wildwood, and I cannot wait to try every single room in the location. You also cannot put a price on the service and friendliness that Sheila and her family provide you.

HOTEL SHOULD GET AN EXTRA STAR! 6 STAR

Thank you Mrs. Sheila for you hospitality, friendlyness and customer service. Hands down the best decision i could have made picking a hotel. If you are looking for peace, quiet and relaxation or the ability to stay within walking distance to the boardwalk this is the place for you. I was a little apprehensive at first because i wasnt to keen on a hotel with a theme, but once i arrived i was met with a smile that made me feel like i was home. I was there for my sons graduation and they made us feel welcomed. My room was pleasant i was caught off guard by the towels being the same color as the bathroom they actually matched the room, i thought they were for decorative purposes. Robes were provided and fresh towels when you utilze the hot tub. Best part of my stay... im torn between the breakfast cooked and served to you in the diner, the jukebox at your table or the strawberry sundae served at 4pm. I will definetly be back before the summer ends this place was absolutley amazing.

We LOVE Summer Nites!

Summer Nites is such a treasure! Sheila makes everyone feel so welcome and her mom, Sandy is awesome in the kitchen! Breakfasts were fabulous every time we've stayed at Summer Nites and the afternoon Floats and Shakes are great! The entire place is spotless and whimsically decorated, it's like stepping back in time. We love this place!!!

The very best in all of Wildwood!

Sheila is the best hostess. Her mom Sandy cooks a breakfast like no other! We stayed here for my birthday and had so much fun! The bed in our room was so very comfortable and the rooms are so very clean.Great location as you are close to the boardwalk and beach. Also close to numerous restaurants and bars. You can walk to most! All rooms have themes. Our last stay was in the 60's room It was great! Sheila offers free beach cruisers so we even got to ride on the boardwalk. We will be back every time we visit! Maybe we will try the Elvis suite...

One night getaway.

We had an excellent stay! Check in was a breeze, our room was clean and well appointed and management couldn't have been nicer! The breakfast was to die for and the inn has every detail covered regarding the 50s theme from the diner to the coke machine to the music selection and game room. They even took our photo as a souvenir. We had unseasonably warm weather for December and took advantage of the close proximity to the beach and boardwalk and took a lovely walk. We will definitely return!

How can you not love it?

I recently stayed there with my boyfriend and we celebrated his birthday. He is a HUGE 50's/60s fan so when I saw this, it was perfect. We showed up early and Shelia welcomed us with open arms and had our room ready and allowed us to check in early. We booked the TV room and when we got the tour of the house, Shelia very kindly upgraded us to the 70s room. Not only that but she provided chocolate covered strawberries and wine for my boyfriends birthday. The room was dated (appropriately) and spotless. We had milkshakes and soft pretzels at 4pm and it was perfect. Breakfast in the morning was one of the best, if not the best, breakfasts we have had at a bed and breakfast. Shelia was beyond accommodating in every aspect of our stay. When we returned on the second night our key was broken and Rick was right there with a new key for us. From the coca-cola machine, to the game room and the kitchen, everything was amazing. You can tell that Sheila and Rick really care and love this place. Down to the smallest details, everything was just so spot on. I can't say enough good things about Summer Nites and how welcomed we felt. We will for sure be returning in the summer during the on season.

Delightful and Great Fun

We had a great time! The Inn is fabulous right down to the poodle skirt and bobby socks Sheila, the owner, wears daily when serving breakfast. Her Mom, Sandy, is quite a gal, too, and does the cooking. The attention to detail of the Inn is amazing.

Hint: Sheila only reserves two rooms for customers who book through an online booking service such as Expedia,Travelocity, etc. To get the room of your choice, make reservations directly from their website, or telephone them.

Highly recommended for a trip back to the 1950’s down Memory Lane!

Beautiful place!!

My husband and and I came down for 1 night and we loved our cozy 60?s suite!! There was 60?s memorabilia throughout the room (Beatles, Hendrix, Lava lamps....). They also have a sitting room on the main floor.

During the afternoon Sheila made us milkshakes and soft pretzels and there was breakfast for us in the morning too!! She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome!!!

We look forward to coming back in June when I do the Escape the Cape Triathlon!

Simply the best

Our first visit to the Wildwood area. Sheila & Company treated us like we were family (better than family. LOL). Clean property with plenty of parking just 2 blocks from the beach & boardwalk. We stayed in the 50's movie room. Great breakfasts in the AM & shake/float/soft pretzel break in the PM both served in the retro dining area complete with juke boxes add a nice touch. Pool table, old arcade games and wrap around outside porch with rocking chairs to break up the day. Really nice all around stay. Will return in the future.

A perfect end to our summer

Such a welcoming, friendly bed and breakfast. It's like visiting family. Breakfast was delicious and those mid-day shakes are amazing. On site bikes to go bike riding and the bed and breakfast itself is gorgeous and so unique. Defintely a trip to remember.

Girls weekend in the 60's room!

Sheila is super welcoming! Food was fantastic. It was the cleanest place that I have ever stayed in. I loved the 60's suite. The hot tub was wonderful. Sitting on the front porch was so relaxing. Can't wait to visit again.
