Absolutely returning in the near future. Super clean. Friendly staff. Great location. Wonderful beach. Loved it
Kathleen
Stayed with my 3 grands and they had an amazing time. Room was perfect, pool was great. Staff very accommodating. Highly recommend! Can’t wait to go back!
Heather
It’s an aging facility that is very well maintained. Everything was clean. We enjoyed the shuffle board. We had to google the rules. It’s a fun and simple game and I liked that they had it set up on the deck in the shade where we could enjoy being outside in the breeze but without being pummeled by the sun. Really appreciates the family vibe. We asked for no room service during our stay but I was grateful they left a bag of clean replacement towels outside our door.
Dolores
That the pool closes to early.
Cindy
We loved it! Clean smart alittle retro.

We enjoyed our stay there the only problem we thought we would have an beachfront with balcony but we settled in fine also the lighting in the room was too dim.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well maintained. We had a great view of the ocean and the pool was heated. The were a lot of details to the room, like two sinks, shelving, grab bars large refrigerator large table and multiple mirrors. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

Friendly staff. Clean room.

Location is perfect.

This is a nice property, especially for guests with kids. There were a few things I didn’t care for most notably the ambient noise level I heard at night. A humming noise coming from the indoor parking area. Probably caused by machines of some sort.
Also the parking spaces are narrow which when coupled with steel poles supporting the roof make it difficult to get in and out.

Very friendly staff, clean room, beautiful area directly beachfront. Highly recommended.

Great stay
Great all around hotel
Linda
Didn’t like the fact that the bathrooms were very small and tight. No table & chairs to sit at and no refreshments area to get a bucket of ice.
You had too buy a bag of ice

There were no sheets/pillows or blankets for the pullout sofa bed and having to go look for some was inconvenient but everything else was nice. Especially the view from our balcony. I would stay again. The staff was great, very friendly. Loved the location.
SUZANNA
It was good for the price.
Angela
The staff was friendly and nice. The property was clean and well maintained.
Elizabeth
I liked how the pool is in close proximity to the room, how the room is equipped with all the necessary appliances, and how comfortable the bed is. However, due to the terrible weather we couldn’t use the pool or enjoy the beach. Plus the vending machine only accepts cash.
Justin
Great place to stay! Very convenient for walking to the boardwalk. Rooms are clean. A couple of the lights/outlets didn’t work in our room but it wasn’t a huge deal, that would be my only “complaint”
Lisa
Staff is exceptional 👌
Brian

Fishing for good location
Check in is at 3:00 pm, check out at 10:00 am, also pool is closed by 6:00 pm, the mattress of the bed was a bit hard for us, we liked our breakfast at the cafe.

Clean safe

Just ok
This hotel needs some updating. The bathroom is dark and dingy. No handsoap to be found. The bodywash was 1oz tiny tube for 4 people. The sheets and blankets had stains on them. I paid 1300$ for 2 nights so I don’t think I’m asking for too much.
Ross
The overall property and our room was a bit dated and in need of updating. However the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was also very clean and the bed was comfortable. Given the price we paid, at the height of vacation season, we feel that the Crusader was a very good value and we were very pleased with our stay there.
Sylwia
Clean room, well maintained pool, easy check in and check out, amazing ocean view
Valerie
Room was great, nice comfy beds, lots of room, nice area right on the beach, but I had very noisy neighbors and had to call to complain.
Rebecca
Such a great oceanfront hotel with a large pool to use if you don’t feel like walking to the beach. Check-in was easy and the staff was very friendly and helpful. One parking spot per room. The room was a nice size efficiency with a pull out couch and a bedroom. They provided toiletries and the room was clean. Would definitely stay again.
Joseph
Clean and spacious with great view
Spacious clean room overlooking the ocean. A+ for housekeeping and comfort in general.

Excellent hotel in annexcellent location! Very convenient to walk everywhere and parking was included. Room was big and clean, and the pool was a nice touch!

Check in was easy and the girl working the front desk was one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. The room is a little small, but my boyfriend and I don’t mind. 😊
Daisy
Very clean. Kind staff. Great restaurant on premises.
Cathleen
Parking garage was a bit tight but there was parking across the streer
Anthony
Was smaller than expected (my fault). My wife has some physical challenges that made Mobil difficult. They have a very old and a bit dilapidated dresser in room that smelled musty and made our clothes smell bad. Overall, clean except floors needed cleaning and very dated. Don’t know that I’d stay there again as there are many other choices in Wildwood
David
Nice place somethings need to b updated.
Anthony
Great experience at this hotel. Wish the room was a bit bigger or was even a suite but it did the job. Needed a table and couch in order to relax more comfortably
Hopefully my next stay will be better

We loved our stay. Every staff member was so nice and helpful. The place was very clean and the location was perfect. The restaurant they have was also very very good. Highly recommend The Crusader!!
Michele
overall a great stay
Barbara
The parking is terrible!! You can barely park a small vehicle in between the lines.
Jennifer
Had a great time. Can't wait to go back if there was only one thing that I could change about this place. It would be for the parking spots to be a little bit bigger. That's about it otherwise a great place to take your family.
Delou
Don't be fooled by pictures and good rating like I was. I was there from 5/24/24- 5/26/24. Place is very old, dirty, the toilet was filthy, the sheets were dirty, the bathroom is tiny, the TV sucked, no iron but rooms do have a fridge, laundry on site and staff was friendly. I'll give this hotel a 3/10. Do not waste your money here like we just did!!
Elizabeth
We love wildwood. First time staying in the crest but was happy with the location and the place
Brian
Check in was fast, easy and friendly! Staff was courteous and very accommodating
Stephanie
I’ll definitely be back and I recommend it!! The Crusader has everything you need. Beachfront, wonderful little diner, rooms are great, fantastic customer service and ice cream!!! It’s a short ride to the boardwalk too.
Eva
It was a great place to stay!
Carl
People were great family atmosphere
Weather could have been better. And tv small on the rainy days
Demetria
My stay at the crusader was just perfect. The staff were amazing, front desk staff were so nice and helpful with anything we asked. Room was spotless, plenty of towels AHEAD of time! Rooms cleaned as soon as we left and no waiting. Pool was clean and area always spotless. Will be returning next year for sure.
Alex
Amazing stay! Fantastic staff!
Roseann
The staff was extremely accommodating. Comfortable beds and family friendly
Deborah
The rooms were clean and so was the pool area. very friendly staff. My only complaint was there was not enough lighting in the room. Over all love the Crusader.
Drew
Ghetto Operation
We booked a room with 2 beds. When we checked in and went to the room, there was only 1 bed. The front desk told us there were no rooms available to transfer us to, they did not have a cot to give us, and they could not adjust the price for us. On top of that, the bathroom was tiny, like real small. There was only 1 light in the whole room. There was literally no where to hang any clothes (no closet, no hangers, no bar to hang on). There was no iron/ironing board. To sum it up, this place is pretty ghetto. 1/10 stars. Would not recommend
Dave
Been going to Wildwood for 40 years..One of the nicest motels I’ve seen in Wildwood…Highly recommend..Clean,well maintained, friendly staff, good food in restaurant..
Ashley
We had a one night stay. It was a little dated with the decor, bathroom and kitchen . I did not like that the room joining door you could see underneath. When they were cooking the smell came under the door and you were able to see shadows of people walking around. For a one night stay , location and price was worth it.
Nancy
Stay away
My review on this place is terrible terrible. Do not stay there. Unfortunately I had covid and the woman at the front desk told me to come anyway that they were closing in a week anyway. I keep trying to call to talk to John the manager and this woman at the desk keeps hanging up or tells me he is not there. The thing that really bothers me about all this is they don’t even care about the other families that are there. When someone that has covid and says to come we are not following those guidelines. Do not stay. Take your business elsewhere. Awful people

Great Location and Clean!
This was a lucky pick for one night off season and already want to come back during the summer season. Great location. Great beach and great rooms. Reasonably priced.

My family and I had a wonderful time at The Crusader. Highly recommend it and we will be back there next year.
Martha
I enjoyed that the room was very clean!

Sonya
They are thieves that work there. So unprofessional and rude. Never again.
Mohan
Excellent Staff and service. The rooms are small.
Dena
Room very small to accommodate a family of 4. Bathroom the size of a small closet. If I had known the size of the room I would have never stayed there. I travel all the time and by far this was the worst for over 300.00 a night. Staff was great when you needed something, very friendly.
Christian
Room was very clean and friendly staff
Kevin
Amenities were lacking no ice machines and no coffee in room.
Susan
The staff are very nice and the rooms are kept very clean. We enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to return.
CHRISTINA
It was great! Very clean!
Joni
The room was very clean. Beds were comfortable. Great location/view. Pool is nice. The only thing that we found challenging was the parking. Very tight spaces and 1/2 of them for cars while we were in our truck.
Jennifer
Clean, very nice staff. Fridge in room. Would def go again.
Katherine
We have been coming to the Wildwoods for the past 28 years, and the majority of those have included a stay at the Crusader! The new renovations/flooring and updated cleaning practices made our family feel safe, even amidst a pandemic! The rooms were comfortable and the views terrific as always. My only comment would be that the restaurant downstairs serves lunch/dinner later in the day, as they used to! Otherwise, 5 stars, we love the crusader!
Timur
Water drained very slow in bath! AC very loud and worked bad. Yang guy on reception very rude and unprofessional.
Alejandra
Super comfortable, very nice place
Tyler

William
My only complaint was that the AC was very loud. Everything else was great.

Great place to stay
We had a great time. I’m never a fan of motel like hotels/places to stay. That’s all there is in that particular beach area and it wasn’t so bad. The hotel was very clean, cute and comfy. We’ll definitely stay there again. This was our first time to New Jersey beaches and I really liked them.
Verified traveler
Very family oriented, staff was very pleasant. I would return to this hotel.

A Great Escape for Two Days
Great stay. I have stayed here several times for many years - however, it has been 2 years since I have gotten to Wildwood. The whole place looks fantastic. It looks like they have really spruced up the place. I was very impressed with how the room/efficiency looked. The office staff and the housekeeping staff were very nice. Sorry I could not stay longer, but I will definitely return next summer.
Jeff
The beds are pretty cheap, newer firmer beds would make a difference
Lily
The place really really really needs to be renovated. Couches in the room needs to get cleaned or replaced.... ewwww... I'm not going there again

Nice and deep pool 11' in an area tha is full of sun light most of the day, perfect for taning and the view in the morning from the patio area is incredible

This was a great location and very clean place to stay!
Frankie
Clean, great location, friendly staff, nice pool, no complaints from this guy

The place that has it all.
This was a great place for us as we try to stay away from the crowd as much as we can while still having fun. The path from the the hotel to the beach is great! Its sweet little breakfast place is also, price is good and food is delicious. Will definitely coma back.
Luis
The hotel sits right in front of the ocean which was great. However, upon arrival the check in process could have been better. We paid for 2 rooms next to each other and we were given 2 rooms on different floors. The lady was all over the place and didn’t explain anything she basically gave me a piece of paper and said everything is here. You get to the rooms there is no phone to reach reception no blankets for the sofa bed no towels and very very poor lighting. Pool area was ok. Lastly check out is at 10. Every other place we’ve stay has always been 11 and we could request a late check out but not here. When I called the front desk (using my cell phone) the guy was very nasty. He said “No check out is at 10 if not we will charge you for another day.” Like really?! Then we go to check out and he looks at me and starts to do other things and leave me there standing waiting for him that other guy came and asked if I was helped. When I told him I needed to check out he was like oh but it’s past 10. I had to explain that the other guy there was just ignoring me and that I had been standing there for a bit. He said ok just leave the keys there. When I asked about a receipt he said we will send you one. I had not received anything yet. I wish I would have gotten name but unfortunately I did not. All I know is I am not staying there again. It’s not worth the aggravation. When you book they are real eager to have you there but when you arrive they really don’t care. Go somewhere else
