The staff was absolutely amazing: check-in employees, waiters (Bacic!!), Walt (shuttle driver), staff at the Star bar, the DJ!!!, guys setting up chairs on the beach, cleaners - everyone! Thank you!

Only downside for me was the size of our bedroom and bathroom. Could be bigger especially considering the price of the Premium double suit but I guess there's not much that can be done about that.

The rooms are really nice and clean comfortable beds. Loungers and towels and umbrellas are available at no extra charge at the beach. They are set up for you by the beach staff. Free parking. The Star Beach restaurant is a fun place to grab a quick bite on the beach. The pool is clean and well maintained. The only thing that I would like to mention is about the beach huts located next to the Star Beach restaurant. They are looking tired and could use a little updating. This was my second time at the Icona Diamond Beach and I will definitely stay there again next year.

This was our second time staying at an Icona resort, first time at the Diamond Beach location. The resort was clean and felt very safe. The staff was helpful and friendly. Our air conditioner wasn’t working well, so they moved our bags to another room for us immediately. We can’t wait to go back!

Right when you check in ,you were greeted politely.The saff name who checked me in was Jonathan.Quite polite polite and welcoming. The rooms were emmaculate.There is someone always asking if you need anything.Over all I had a wonderful experience.l would definitely recommend.

A large post wedding party was in a tent on the property. Very loud into late night. Should not assign rooms on that side of hotel during these events as the noise was funneled between buildings. Also, advertised , poolside bar was not as depicted. A positive is the weekend shuttle. Tim was great! Clean hotel but would not book it again.

Our stay at ICONA Diamond Beach was above par. The resort amenities, room, cleanliness overall, and above board staff were all we could ask for. The restaurant menu, staff and food were very accommodating. We didn’t utilize the bar, but it appeared to be very well stocked. Fast wi-fi availability was a plus. We loved the view of the beach from our balcony. The resort was all it was advertised to be. We would highly recommend a stay here.

It was off season in March so therefore many things were not open, I love this hotel. I was disappointed the bar and restaurant was not open since it was st Patrick’s day weekend, we were only there for one night but I honestly wouldn’t stay anywhere else. I love the location and the vibe of the hotel is amazing.

Everything was great except breakfast was just too slow. Had it not been for Helen, we would have been ignored by the other server. They seemed to be short staffed and didn’t take notice on guests waiting to be seated. Had to ask for a later check out due to the timing in the restaurant.

The room was very clean but had a slight musty smell after we turned down the AC. The sliding glass doors should have been lubricated, they were not easy to open or close. The beach view was excellent on the pool side. The restaurant was good but overpriced in my opinion. Overall a nice place in a great location. Would definitely recommend.

I loved the property! Right on the beach. Clean rooms and a friendly staff. Excellent restaurant on property that I used several times.

The reason for only 4 stars was the parking. On Friday and Saturday evening, they had wedding receptions on the property and there was no parking for the hotel guests because the wedding guests were taking it all. On Friday night my husband kept driving around and finally found a spot. On Saturday night, we arrived back at the hotel at 9:30 to find no parking again. We waited, but it was obvious that this wedding was going well into the night and we were tired. So we ended up parking across the street and had to pay park mobile $42.50 for the night.

Sunday morning we spoke with a manager who apologized and reimbursed us. He mentioned that there was valet parking but the front desk did not mention it the night before.

So we got reimbursed, it was just a hassle to wait for a spot after dark when you are tired and ready for bed.

The only thing we did not like.
The premium suite has two what seemed like full-size beds and the bedroom is rather small compared to the rest of the living space
If they had one queen, bed and one full, it would be a much better situation for a couple

The Icona Diamond Beach is a top notch hotel. I was thoroughly impressed with the staff and the spotless facilities. People were always cleaning something. I honestly haven't stayed at a cleaner hotel, and that is saying something considering it's right on the beach. The room was as advertised, a little smaller than it appeared in the photos (especially the bathroom), but more than adequate and has nice furnishings in excellent condition. It was nice to have the small kitchenette as well, and the quality of the dishes etc. was good. The only disappointment was the restaurant, which is lackluster at best. We only ate a few meals there. Overall we were very pleased with our stay and highly recommend.

Shuttle Service - Convenient shuttle to the convention center departs hourly, with accommodating drivers.

Beach Amenities - The staff sets up free umbrellas and chairs from 8 am to 6/7 pm. Lifeguards clear the beach by 4:50 pm. The sand is soft, but an outfall pipe nearby affects the view and sometimes causes odors. A shuttle is available to the beach, though I didn’t use it.

Room - We had a small room with two full beds. One bed was against the wall, making it hard to get out, and the bathroom was compact. The hotel provided toiletries, and extra supplies were given at the front desk upon request. The room was clean and comfortable, with a balcony accessible from both the bedroom and living room. The kitchen had basic appliances, but bring your own K-cups and drinks. Hallways displayed local history.

Parking - No issues with parking; valet is available.

Fitness Center - Very small with only a couple of machines.

Restaurant - Enjoyed a pleasant breakfast with friendly staff and a nice pool view.

Beach Bar - Great service with plenty of seating for drinks and appetizers.

Pool - Nice with plenty of umbrellas, but seating can be limited at busy times.


My biggest complaint and the reason it’s not 5/5 for all areas - Many cheaper hotels have free 24 coffee and tea, water, even cookies and apples. You were charged $4 for a bottle of water. A hotel charging their prices on a beach, should have free water.

Very small room - bathroom is a total joke - for 4 people this was a pure joke - we were very uncomfortable. We probably will not be returning because of this. Pool tiny - and not heated. Food very mediocre for the price. The towels at the pool remind me of cheap camp towels. My husband said this place reminds him of a motel.

This is a really fun nice place to spend a few days in Wildwood. The amenities are top chart, the food is delicious. The Star bar at the beach is so cute. Loved that they offered lounge chairs and umbrellas at the beach at no charge. They even had tall sit up beach chairs to sit in by the water!

The beach was over run by non ICONA guests. There was no private beach instead you had guests bringing family and friends to the beaches which made the sitting on the beach intolerable. Skip this hotel and spend $$$$ elsewhere.
