Staff were very helpful and always cleaned the rooms. Rooms were big enough for 3 adults and also had free WiFi on the premises. This was also super close to the boardwalk and places to eat so we didn’t need to drive anywhere.

Parking is assigned but parking is more for compact cars. We had a big SUV which made parking tight but the staff allowed us to double park.

Overall will come back and stay here when I visit again.

The pool and the shower are great. It seems like they have done upgrades but they are not done with craftsmanship and things are literally falling apart. The grounds around the hotel are full of trash and they were removing trash while we were there. They scratched my car with the trash they were taking out. The parking is not the greatest but I will say with this being our second time staying here, it was better than last time. The staff is super friendly and helpful.

There was a minor issue that was resolved immediately with excellent customer service. The staff was accommodating and all needs were met. The pool and property were clean. The suite was air conditioned. The onsite parking was convenient and the boardwalk and beach are within walking distance. I very strongly recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for Barefoot Country Music Fest for the 2nd year in a row & the staff is always accommodating and helpful when we needed them. They let us park a second car on the property for the duration of our stay for a great price. The room was clean and overall a great experience!

Hotel conveniently located to boardwalk and beach. Restaurants within walking distance. Room very modern and clean. No room service unless you request it although I did leave the tag on door. No elevator. Thankfully I was on first floor. Parking VERY tight. Quick check in and return of deposit. No coffee pot or hair dryer. Would stay here again but be better prepared. Staff very kind.

my best friend and i stayed here for our prom weekend and the staff was so incredibly friendly and kind to us! we had a few issues with one of the tvs in our room and the front desk staff came and fixed it with such a positive attitude and were so kind about everything! check in and check out were amazing and went so smooth and the room overall was perfect, we had a full kitchen and two rooms and a bathroom with an amazing shower. 5 stars i would 100% stay here again!! plus its only a 5 minute walk from beach + boardwalk and the family dollar across the street is so convenient if you need a few last minute things and the family dollar people are also very kind! stay here if you’re looking to be close to the beach and boardwalk in wild wood! plus they rent out to 18+ so if your looking for a place for prom weekend or spring break or even just a week in the summer this is definitely the best place out there!!!

You have to ask for everything you need from towels, to toilet paper, to blankets for the beds. The rooms are bare and you need to keep running down to the front desk to ask for these things and hope they are there as they do leave for the night. Also the “free parking” means you’ll be blocked in by employee vehicles and have to go get the front desk to ask them to move everytime you need to leave to go somewhere. It took until 2 hours after check in for us to even get a parking spot.

My husband and I were in town for a 60th Birthday party. We were very thankful to check in early as we needed to change and be ready fir the party at 3. Staff was very nice and helpful on all aspects. They walked us to our parking spot and to our room. The room was nice and cool on a 90 degree day and perfect for our one night stay. The bathroom was gorgeous 😍. Bed was comfy too. There is a pool, an outside shower and an ice machine outside as well in the property.
My only negative thing to say would be that there needs to be a coffee pot in the room or coffee accessible. We were up at 6 and there was nowhere anywhere to get coffee. We wound up walking the boardwalk way down past the convention center for a bad cup of a coffee. Our stay was great though at Coastal Sands. We will be back when we have time to enjoy the beach.

The room was VERY small. The queen sized bed took up 90% of the room. There was no night stand or end table. No carpeting, which was probably not the worst idea, as the shower water creeped out into the main room. Only two bath towels, no hand towels or washcloths. No cups or ice bucket for ice. The parking was terrible.

This hotel was filthy. There are not words for how grossed out we were. There is a difference between a Jersey shore beach hotel and a dump. The pictures are deceiving. We had one towel for a four people, no soap and a used dirty dis sponge as we stayed in the two bedroom apartment. It is NOT an ideal spot for families as there are young adults up at all hours doing whatever they want.

The hotel overall is clean and updated features. The hotel staff were very kind. I guess because of memorial day weekend, too many college kids in the property. They were yelling nonstop all through the night, playing loud music and were knocking and ditching on rooms.
It would be best for the property to let all the college folks stay all in one building and families on the other.

The property is on renovation and there is no blacket only bed sheet. I have to ask the room service lady the next day to give us blankets. Parking is very limited also. The only good thing about the property is that the room is clean.

There were plastic sheets on the bed with no blanket or comforter. The weatherstripping on the door was missed, so you could feel the air coming through the door. The bathroom had a window in it the looked out onto a community porch. The shades were broken, so people could see right in. The front office was disgusting and the front desk person could bare understand English. I didn’t end up staying there because it was horrific!!

This motel was one of the dirtiest places I have ever stayed in. I had to clean the bathroom and exchange the towels for clean ones. The inside of microwave was covered with splattered food. There were signs all over the room warning about various cleaning fees, but honestly I don’t think they clean much at all. Our sheets were changed and that was it!
The room was quite cold and we had a hard time sleeping. The mattress was thin and cheap.
The only bright spot was the guy who checked us in was very nice.

I booked a room for two nights. I couldn’t make it the first night. When I arrived the next morning to check in I was told my reservation was cancelled. Obviously I didn’t expect a refund for first night and I knew that was the policy. I had no idea my booking for the second night would be cancelled as well. This might have been tolerable except they would not refund me for the second night nor would they give me a room. Neither Expedia nor the hotel were willing to accommodate me in any way leaving me without a place to stay for the weekend.

Floors looked like they hadn't been swept. No outlets or tables beside bed to plug phone into. No way to adjust temperature on the heat.
Another family locked themselves out of their room and the owner wouldn't give them another key card without paying a fee for it. They had to call the police because they were locked out of their room. It was freezing too.

I cancelled this reservation. I called Expedia and then emailed Coastal Sands two times to explain that I booked the wrong weekend for my daughter’s competition and wanted to change the reservation to correct weekend if they had it available. I asked if they couldn’t, if it was at all possible to get refunded fully or partially. I never received a response but did receive a call the night I was supposed to arrive asking if I was going to be checking in. I explained I wasn’t and had cancelled this reservation already and never received a response. He just said ok, thanks and hung up.

Check in: staff member was super friendly and organized. There is a 200 dollar deposit hold which I found to be a bit high but it reversed within 2 days.

There were three of us each with own room on three different floors. The first floor room was 1 bed cramped and no hot water, no table,

I stayed on the second floor 2 beds very clean, spacious and comfortable room.

The third floor room 2 beds tv was not working and it was very very icy on the stairwell which when we asked to move to another floor they said it was not available and thanks to the kind staff member he put ice melt down which only helped a little and still made it a dangerous situation.

It was a one night stay for a work event in the area. I don’t think I would have chosen this location for any longer than that. The shower was really neat with its spa like features.

I personally would look for an alternative next time or ask for the second floor.

The room took forever to warm up with the heater so it was cold too. The toilet was dirty and hadn’t been cleaned.

I don’t know where all the good reviews are coming from but this place was awful. The bedspread had gross stains and rips in it. The heat (we were there in the winter) was so loud when it came on that it would wake you up. Pillows were lumpy and tiny. There are no nightstands or lamps, just one glaring overhead light. You could hear the conversations of every person passing by. The bathroom looked new but the towels were old, flimsy and grey looking.

Our first room had a broken window on ground level and a filthy toilet and floor. We switched rooms and that room's smoke alarms were going off. The owner removed them and put them in the drawer. We told him we weren't comfortable with that and he said it was fine. He then locked us out of his office and didn't refund our money. We left. I wouldn't recommend this hotel - its not safe, clean or accommodating.

We were attending a cheer competition in Wildwood and needed a place to stay overnight near the convention center. The room sizes well-accommodated our needs as a family of 5. The front desk staff was extremely kind and helpful. Abdul was very welcoming! The facilities were great and we absolutely loved the shower in the room. Parking was a little tricky but we were there off season and had no problems. We plan on booking again.

I was traveling with my 10 year daughter, The room was in the first floor on a busy road, They try to fit in two beds in a very small room where you couldn’t even open the door to get into the room. The bathroom had no essentials to take a shower. It only had two regular towels no hand towels, no floor mat. Beds with missing comforters. We went to dinner and we got back , hotel was pitch black we got our stuff and we checked out an hour after we checked in.

Lots of security cameras, staff was nice. Our overall room was clean, can tell it has been updated. The tile floor was dirty, which we wiped down with a damp towel, because our feet turned black walking on it - so recommend staff make sure cleaning crew is washing floors & we had to use another towel to cover up the broken blinds, so no one could look into our room. A/C worked ok, had blinking light saying air filter was dirty and needed changed.
Loved how convenient it was to the boardwalk & other amenities.
Parking was “ok”. Don’t go with a big vehicle. If you plan to park and leave your vehicle, you have to leave your key, so if they need to move it for someone else to get out (the double stack vehicles), they can.
Overall a typical beach hotel, would consider staying here again.

The gentleman at check in was very helpful to me by going outside with me to show me where to park and where my room was. What is kind of ridiculous is the $200 hold on your credit card for incidentals. Unusually it’s $100.
