Hotel common areas are nice and clean. Nothing like the pictures posted, but still adequate. Individual rooms are spacious and provide comfort away from home. The staff was helpful and did their best to accommodate our needs. My only complaints were (1) the parking, which was very tight given the amount of rooms/guests and (2) the pool is very tiny and fills up quickly, as it is shared with the neighboring hotel.

We stayed with our 5 year old & 7 month old & really enjoyed it. The staff was very friendly and it was in a super convenient location with only being about a 4 minute walk to the boardwalk. Free parking was wonderful as a lot of hotels in WW will still chair you parking daily. The room was clean for the most part with only a couple of marks on the wall and we did notice that there was a large bathroom floor tile super loose when you stepped out of the shower but we just stepped around it so it was fine.
The pool was nice & clean and was a nice addition to the stay as loading up and getting to the beach was just too much with a baby and small child.
We definitely plan on staying again!

Our stay was short…just one night with children. But, great location and total access. Front desk staff provided good customer service. Only downside is I wish the ac was central and I wish there was a breakfast available for free or to purchase. The muffins were not a hit with the kids.

I was supposed to stay at the hotel from March 13 to March 15. The hotel was fine very clean very cordial with the staff however I am disabled when going back to park in the evening on Saturday night. All three handicap spots were full. None had tags I did notify a while with Police. There’s no front desk. You have to call a number which is fine but I had to park around the corner and walk so I packed my stuff and left the hotel on Saturday night. I did call on the way home and talk to the night manager, and he said it was his car parked in the handicap spot. I just needed to call him to move it. That is unacceptable. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody with a disability. They are not disability friendly.

The roach motel. We saw a total of 4 roaches in our room, when we were finally moved to another room. We were in a handicapped room with a sink that looked like it had been pulled off the wall at some point. Not good. The staff tried, but no good.

Never seen any staff. You had to call a number he left out and he said my keys were outside in the mailbox. Then we went to our room and when you opened the door it would fall down some. You would have to pick up the door and slam it to get it to close. No fitted sheet on the bed, they took a flat sheet and placed it over a dirt mattress. Then at 12:20 am the fire alarm goes off…still no staff or fire department. Never was there anyone at the front desk. To check out we had to call him. Will never stay here again!!!!

I received a call earlier in the day asking what time I would be arriving, i told him that I was not sure and asked was it a problem; the gentleman said no he was just checking. We arrived late around 9pm. Poor service, no one at check-in when we arrived, sign up for us to call a number for service! Gentleman came apologized said he was in the kitchen. I asked what were the hours for the continental breakfast in the morning and was told they do not do it during off season! This is not listed on the website! Walls are really thin I could hear the person snoring in the room next door, did not sleep well. When we left still no one at the front desk!

Because of a convention being in town. All of the handicapped parking was used for hotel guests to sit in their lawn chairs and talk and eat. Lots of people congregated there making it extremely difficult to get to the front door. The staff really didn’t care. I left 2 days early because of parking difficulties. The girl at the desk promised she would call me back that day to let me know.After a few calls back and talking to various people who said they would call me back, still waiting. Terrible customer service by this hotel.

Front desk mislead us on how the street parking worked. We were supposed too get a tag with a permit on it and we had to wi d up asking for it because of the way the cars were parked in their lot. You had to leave your car key with the front desk and they would move your car, if necessary, which my husband didn’t want to do.
Bed was comfortable but the bathroom needed more cleaning I.e., faucets in both sink and shower needed better cleaning. Bathroom was floor was a little messy too. Ceiling panel above shower was rusty and water was coming up in shower when it was in use.

2. The sink was super high up that my 7 year old had a hard time spitting into the sink!

We have stayed here before and you cannot beat the location, a short walk to the boardwalk. Wonderful for walking the boards and then getting back to the room to relax after all the great sea air. Last time we stayed the front desk team was super friendly. This time we got courteous service in and out, which is appreciated, but not super friendly. The toilet seat was not properly affixed and the shower did not drain, which I found unsanitary.

I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. It was modern and updated unlike a lot of the hotels in AC. It was clean and the desk staff was really nice. In addition it is close to the boardwalk which is great. I would stay again.

The only way to make drinks cold was to jam them into the small freezer portion. The pool was tiny, and the neighboring motel very close. Parking was very limited and cramped. Fortunately we were given a street parking pass by the man that checked us in, though we were afraid to leave for fear of losing our spot. There were huge bins of dirty linens which remained outside of our window when we looked out, which was pretty gross. Our room had no balcony or deck. Not sure if any of the rooms there did. Wi-Fi worked fine.

Good location but free parking should be the default. Ice should be available on each floor. More information should be available for choosing restaurants at various price points. Bed was comfortable.

I would not recommend staying at the waves hotel. I’ve been going to wildwood since I was a kid (40+ years) & I understand what you normally get with a wildwood motel/hotel. However, this place was pretty bad. We had a hole in our 3rd floor ceiling with the sheet rock pieces still in the floor. Our light next to the bed was broken off the wall. The bed sheets even had a body odor smell to them. The worst part was the parking. They want you to leave your keys with them because there aren’t enough spaces & your car gets blocked in. I think they are renting out spaces or using them for personal use, because the lot looks overcrowded for the hotel size. Every night that we came back from dinner was an adventure to park at the hotel. If you ask the front desk, they would direct you to a shady spot to park. We needed a last second hotel & the location was convenient - directly off the 3rd pier where the Great White roller coaster is. The only other perk is that they have complimentary water bottles. I learned my lesson & will try our luck elsewhere next time. Wildwood Crest is much nicer to stay.

Great location walking distance to boardwalk. Not many parking spaces. No smoke alarm install and some house keeping needed to be done..room needed paint (pencil markings on the wall next to bed). Room phone disconnect. Shower door felt it was going to fall off.

The property was very clean! The greeting staff was pleasant and accommodating throughoutour stay. The hotel was modern and the photos on the site was exactly how the rooms looked in person. This hotel also was only 2 short blocks (3 minute) walk to the boardwalk which was extremely convenient.

The pool is very small and there is no shade and no umbrellas for those that want to sit by the pool. Because this place is not motel style, there wasn’t anywhere to hang wet beach towels or bathing suits so it’s not the most ideal spot if you plan to do the beach. The location is great, close walk to the boardwalk. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was a leak in the ceiling of our room which had caused the drywall to fall on us while sleeping but they moved us to a new room as soon as we notified them of the issue.

Not a Hilton Hotel but it was decent enough for our needs. Soft towels, good a/c, comfortable beds, polite staff, and room make-up daily or at your request.
