We enjoyed having an up high balcony view of the rides and ocean. The third floor pool was nice. Clean room, nice staff.
The only part I didn’t like has to do with Expedia how Expedia over charged me $105. The stay after taxes/fees was actually $596 the hotel manager showed me and I paid $701 to Expedia. The hotel said if I just called them directly I would’ve paid $596 total and not $701 so idk why I paid Expedia $105 for nothing when they are supposed to be a cheaper deal app makes no sense. Probably won’t use Expedia anymore and would like an explanation of why I paid $105 to Expedia messed up

Worst place i ever stayed at sat TV froze every 10 seconds or lost signal lost power at midnight in the morning I went to office and they said they would check the brakes they reset it we had power for 10 minutes then lost it again the reset it and it went back off after 5 minutes we had to leave the hotel and try to find another so my wife and I could take showers and get ready for the day I ask them for some of my money back and they said the manager would call me when he got in.he never called Horrible place stay away

The hotel is old and showing. The room was big. There was a fridge and a microwave. I had a leaky toilet and they fixed it immediately. The pool only has one way in and out. Children abused the hot tub. Walking distance to popular boardwalk ramp.

We stayed here in 2017, 2018, 2019 and now again in 2026. Absolutely nothing has changed, other than the attached restaurant was no longer open. This place may not have fancy updates but it has absolutely everything you need at reasonable prices, and in walking distance to the boardwalk!

When checking in, I say and waited for 25 minutes for someone to come down w my 6 kids! was really upset with the room at first bc of the fact I had my big family there And we were expecting a small stove top to use to eat, there wasn’t one in our room.
Then the seagulls were literally living in the pool
A family from the 6th floor threw actual spoons of tuna into the pool and hot tub while my kids were down there including my autistic 6 year old! Getting the seagulls to attack!!
The first night so much banging and yelling at 3am above us.
The last night, there was a huge argument w kids crying for their mom and I fires drunk family all around. The place was close to everything so that was a plus!

This was the worst place I have ever stayed. We wedged a chair up against the door because the lock barely worked and there was a lot of sketchy people staying there. The smell of pot at all hours of the day and night was overwhelming and the staff was HORRIBLE. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

Location was nice which is why I chose it. Rooms were run down. I don’t need fancy but a little bit of fixing up would be nice. Sliding door on patio didn’t open very easily. Pool looked nice but we didn’t have a chance to use it.

Also, staff at check in and out was no where to be found for quite awhile while waiting to check in and out! We had a family emergency and had to leave a day early and it took forever for him to show up so I could check out. We won’t stay here again.

Front desk very friendly. Had a problem with balcony door not locking maintenance came immediately to fix. In order to have someone come up I tried calling front desk no answer had to take elevator down to front desk to get help. Pool was somewhat clean but the jacuzzi was filthy dirty on bottom and a lot of dead bugs floating on top. This hotel does need a makeover hot & cold marked wrong in shower in fact shower plate cracked. Little side curtain next to door kept falling brackets need to be replaced. Overall decent for their rates however husband disabled and people leave out their chairs in walkway instead of their balcony made it very hard to get to elevator not hotels problem but guests feelings of entitlement

We enjoyed our stay.. our room was nice but could’ve used a deeper cleaning.. our feet would be black walking on the floors. They need to be mopped .
Needs more towels in the rooms, especially for larger guests. Pool was nice n pretty clean but the area to bbq, needs to be watched n cleaned.
No one was watching the kids!! Kids were coming from the beach full of sand n would play in the sauna.. that was disgustingly filthy!!!

It's a family-friendly place with a warm and respectful atmosphere. The property is clean and offers an amazing ocean view, all within walking distance to the beach and nice restaurants. The only issue we had was at check in. When we arrived, no one was at the desk for check in. After ringing the bell and waiting for 10-15 minutes. I called the hotel and got someone to check us in.

The hotel was fine, no issues. It was at a very convenient location. A block away from the boardwalk. We would stay here again.

I do not know how this hotel is still in business. From staff being rude to the rooms being just disgusting, please do not waste your time or money here! We booked this after reading reviews that made it seem like a decent hotel, dated, but that’s not an issue for us. But once we got there we realized we made a big mistake. First we got into town a little early so we stopped at the hotel for the possibility that our room was ready early, it was not. They told us we could still park there and can come back around 3:30-4:00 to check in, ok no big deal, but traveling with two small children we asked if they had a restroom, no public bathroom. Leave, come back others getting their rooms, nope we were told had to wait until 4:00. Finally get our room key and we are on the 5th floor, again no big deal, except the outer wall way to our room the railing was not sturdy at all! Get into our room and it was just disgusting. The sheets were stained, there was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, the sliding door barely worked, the hot tub below our balcony was green. We immediately tried to get a refund to find a different room, we were refused a refund but we still did not stay and found somewhere else. Save yourself the hassle and money and go elsewhere to start.

The proximity to the boardwalk and beach was great. The room space was great and the view was perfect. The hot tub was dirty with a thick ring around it and a bunch of stuff floating in the water. The pool and kiddie pool had rust spots throughout. Overall it was an okay place to stay, they just need to brush up on the pool maintenance and the cleaning of the rooms.

The older lady at the front desk gave me false information when I got there and told me that my trip had not been paid for yet, but the gentleman clarified that what she said was incorrect, but she was very rude and unprofessional and did not know what she was talking about. The guy said that she has been there for 10 years and this is not the first time that she has acted like that but other than her everybody else was fine. They also need to have somebody monitor the pool because there were children swimming in there during lightning storm and obviously the parents were not watching so I think that somebody should be there to monitor situations like that to protect safety.

Like any place you stay there are pros and cons. I will say this place is in a great location and when you have an issue , lobby staff and maintenence were quick to resolve it. The cons for me, alot of the tiles in the bathroom ceiling was pushed up,aside or broken and it sketched me out, i got the 3 queen bed suite and the 1 queen bed was at the front door ( this bed was also pretty uncomfortable), our back door had issues opening and closing ( this was the issue we let the front desk know about and maintenence was there in a few minutes), the front door would seem closed but if you pushed on it it would pop back open you literally had to pull it HARD to get it to stay closed. the hot tubs..... i can hardly describe what was floating around in them but they were pretty gross ( we did see maintenence clean and put chemicals in them daily however they probably need to be completely drained and wiped out before they can be decent again. If you are just looking for somewhere with a bed,shower and toilet that you will barely be in then this place is amazing! If you have kids and you need to spend time in the roomsfor extended periods i would pay a little more and upgrade to somewhere a bit nicer . Honestly with a few upgrades and a little renovation this place could be a prime spot for vacation

The room service attendant were so sweet and tried to help. But the owner/receptionist and front desk were terrible. I didn’t check reviews because I’m not usually picky. Everything is outdated which never really bothers me but it was dirty. The man at the front desk was very dismissive. Rooms were dusty. Pool was dirty and so dirty there was residue stuck on the paint. I can tell they just tidy up and not actually deep clean. Oh and if you bring an extra car you have to pay an extra $20-$30 per day for parking. Even though I paid for a 2 bedroom suite. If you thought you’ll be saving $50-$75 by staying here forget about it. The parking fee will add up anyhow. So just stay somewhere more nice. The central ac gets hot after 1 day of staying there. Guys I don’t usually write review but it was a bad experience. Check in is 4pm, at anywhere else in the world if the room is ready or not they’ll let you use the amenities or store your things. Not this place the guy made sure of that. Never again.

This hotel is in an awesome spot. Directly in front of the middle pier (Mariners). Pool and both hot tubs were cleaned every night. The only problem was parents not watching their kids in the pool area. Actually, no parents around for a child that did not behave at all.
The rooms are older, not all the modern updates as the $500 a night hotels. Walls are painted, tiles, tub, sink, refrigerator, microwave were all clean. Linens were clean and beds were soft. I would suggest bring your own bath towels... they are flimsy, little and worn.
There are two elevators that run nice.
Employees are all super nice.
You have a front row seat to the fireworks from their balcony rooms.

2 adult & 4kids traveling. We were placed in a different room than what we booked. Hotel room AC was broken when we arrived. They said they would send someone up. 8pm room was still 80 degrees. By that time hotel management was gone for the day. We were moved to another room to sleep only while our belongings were in our original room. The hotel said if we moved to another room for the remainder of our stay we would lose our Kitchenette and 1 bed with no refund for the downgrade. We slept in a different room which was actually they type of room we booked originally but we couldn’t stay THERE because it was supposedly booked for 4pm the following day. The next morning someone came to our original room to fix the AC which took about 2-3 hours. No accommodations or partial refunds were even offered for the complete inconvenience. Not a bad place to stay but hotel management really really sucks. And there’s no Laundry facility.

Disappointing Stay Despite Great Location

I’ve stayed in Wildwood over a dozen times, and unfortunately, this was by far my worst experience. We booked last-minute after finding a good deal — but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. This property is in serious need of upgrades, and I’m honestly not sure how it passes inspection.

Throughout our stay, the pool area was filled with people blasting extremely loud, inappropriate music and openly smoking weed. This made it nearly impossible to enjoy the pool or even sit on the balcony in peace. Children should be able to swim without being subjected to constant profanity and sexual content in the background.

Pros:
• Affordable
• Just one block from the beach and boardwalk
• Spacious room with three beds, a full-size refrigerator, and a small balcony with a beach view
• Friendly woman at the front desk in the evening

Cons:
• The AC barely worked — the room stayed between 75–80 degrees
• Bathtub filled with several inches of water during every shower
• Towels were barely larger than hand towels
• Beds were uncomfortable and pillows were completely flat
• Definitely not a kid-friendly atmosphere

Everything was dirty: the floor, the tub, the sinks. The towels were stained and thin, and we didn't have enough for the number of people in the room, even after asking for more towels. When we first arrived, the door to the room we were given was broken and couldn't close. They expected us to just sit in the room until maintenance arrived. We did get moved to a new room, with a door that stuck and was hard to close. The air conditioner couldn't keep the room cold, and when they came to clean they let the door open, so it got even hotter. The hotel description states breakfast is available, at a charge, however the restaurant attached to the hotel is closed, there was no food available in the hotel. The hot tubs by the pool were on eco mode, and were the same temperature as the pool.
I will say the employees were very friendly and apologetic, and I don't think all of the problems were their fault. But we definitely wouldn't stay there again, and don't think it was worth the money we paid for it.

Pool is on the third floor so street traffic is minimal. Great views!! I love that you can see the boardwalk and beach from the balcony on the front, but also the town and bay from the door in the back. The sink/mirror are open and available even when the facilities are in use behind a closed door. Entrance to the boardwalk is right across the street for convenience. The only downside of our trip was the other guests, the leagal drug use (not a smoker), and the slow elevators (8th floor in the heat is quite a climb).

Spur of the moment, stress reducing, trip for my wife and I. This place was just what the doctor ordered. Yes, the rooms and decor of the property are outdated, but it was clean and everything worked. I only interacted with staff directly for 2 minutes during check in and 30 seconds during check out, but again the process was clean and worked. The staff were friendly enough for me. I watched staff do a thorough job cleaning the pool and hot tubes from our patio before we checked out this morning. Location and views are awesome. For the price we felt like it was a steal.

The property has dire need for maintenance and renovations, one of the hot tubs water heater didnt work, lots of drop celing tiles needed replacement. Paint chips in wall, no cold water in the sink, even the toliet had hot water lmao.
The staff was amazing and the rooms were clean but the hotel has a dire need to be renovated and maintained.

The manager was so ignorant, the lobby smelled from people smoking pot as well as the balconies. Filthy unit, no washcloths, not enough towels, no coffee, the towels we did get (not enough) were so thread bare. Shower was awful. Furniture broken. Just a disgusting place to stay.

This property was not dirty, it was filthy. The room came with only 2 towels that were the size of dish towels, dirty and so old there was not enough towel to absorb.
The beds were on man made wooden frames that were so small the mattress hung over the sides. The sheets came preloaded with someone else's hair. Drawer fronts were falling off. Avoid at all costs no matter how much of a discount they offer. Zero dollars would be an over payment. A gentleman came in and wanted to see the room before he booked and they refused to show it. Should tell you something.

We absolutely LOVED it there. Reasonably priced and loved the room with the view. We were across the street from the entrance to the boardwalk (and chickie & Pete's lol) I had two 15 year old girls with me so the two rooms with the bathroom/changing room in the middle was PERFECT.The staff was more than accommodating and very helpful and friendly. I actually ended up writing this review because I logged on here to see about booking another weekend coming up there. I will not pick any other place to stay in Wildwood before this one. Kids can go to the boardwalk, adults have a steakhouse/bar first floor of the hotel. Everything is just super convenient to get to from the hotel. Definitely check this place out if you plan on spending the night in Wildwood!

Filthy Dirty

This hotel was filthy,patio doors were so dirty you could not see outside,the room had an awful smell,you only one bath towel for two people,bedding was from the the seventys.I would not stay here again even if it were free.

The room was filthy when we arrived. The sinked backed up, hair all over the shower, floors were filthy, our comforter had bird poop on it. They left 2 SMALL hand towels for 5 people! The pool is falling apart and has rust stains all over and tiles falling off. They have 2 hot tubs that were broken and filthy. We are not new to wildwood. We have been going for 30 years. This was one of the worst properties. It could be beautiful if kept up.
