The staff is really nice and polite, accommodating me by letting me stay one more night in the same room the amenities are perfect we have the pool and jacuzzi. The room is acceptable we have a microwave a small fridge and a decent bathroom with strong water. The tv in the room is okay I would definitely recommend having your own streaming service because very limited channels. Parking is acceptable plenty on the street but they give you a parking spot but overall 8.5/10 stay I don’t give it a 10 because the place can be a bit more painted and maintained well such as the walls etc and I wish the jacuzzi would be open till 11pm not 8pm other than that no complaints at all

We over all enjoyed our stay. The motel has been upgraded since I lasted visited as a child. The room and kitchen area were better upgraded than the bathroom. The restroom needs some updating and cleaning. I did notice walking barefoot in the room, the floors were dirty and still had sand. The front desk were very nice and accommodating with anything we needed. Pool was very clean, hot tub not hot at all. We used the grill area to cook which was fun but the furniture in that area was needs to be replaced. Preferably the table. Every time we called they had no problem helping us or giving us what we did. The room above us was very loud but that’s not the motel fault. I would overall stay again! Parking was great!

This isn’t a luxury motel, but it doesn’t try to be—and that’s perfectly okay. If you’re looking for a clean, affordable place to stay, this motel gets the job done. The room was clean, well-maintained, and everything worked as it should. The property is clearly cared for, and I didn’t have any issues during my stay. The price was very reasonable for what you get, making it a great value. If you want a simple, comfortable place to sleep without spending a fortune, I’d definitely recommend it.

We had a really good stay in the small King room. It is a cozy, clean motel with super friendly and accommodating staff. The bathroom was clean and updated and the pool was a nice bonus. The location was excellent and only about 2 blocks to the boardwalk -- close enough for just a 3 minute walk or so, but far enough to be away from the noise and crowds. We definitely plan on returning here the next time we come to Wildwood.

Every time I come to Wildwood my family and I stay at this motel. The staff is great if you need anything there right there to help you with it. Just my last trip this Monday I brought an extra person and there was no problem we paid the extra fee and that was it. No issues great hotel would recommend to anybody who would like to stay here close to the boardwalk.

You going to be rudely greeted by an ignorant, obnoxious man trying to scam you by charging more money for (extra) people or keeping your deposit when trying to cancel . Advertising a false hot tub that’s not hot it’s cold and when we asked staff to turn on the jets they said the couldn’t

I was very disappointed with our stay at the Mango Motel. We arrived around 1:30 p.m., and the owner told us our room was already cleaned and ready. However, we were told we would have to pay an extra $20 to check in early. I understand if a room isn’t ready yet, but charging an additional fee when it’s already available felt unreasonable and left a bad first impression.

Another frustrating experience happened at checkout. I had mistakenly thought checkout was at 10:00 a.m., so I asked if we could leave our car parked while we grabbed a quick breakfast and be gone by 11:00. The owner informed me that checkout was actually 11:00 a.m., but said our car also had to be off the property by then. In all my years of traveling, I’ve never had a hotel refuse to let me leave my car for a short time after checkout. Most places are much more accommodating.

The amenities were also disappointing. The motel advertises a hot tub, but the water was cold and it clearly wasn’t working. The pool area looked run down and wasn’t particularly inviting. On top of that, the water pressure in our room was terrible, making it difficult to take a decent shower.

Overall, the customer service, disappointing amenities, and lack of flexibility made this stay fall far short of expectations. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend it.

We spent 3 nights at the Mango Motel and enjoyed our stay. Its a short walk to the beach with several restaurants located nearby that we also enjoyed. The motel isn't fancy (solid 3 star but I dont need a fancy room when I dont plan to spend much time in it) but the room was clean and quiet. The motel had a nice pool area, grill area (we didnt use it but others did), and the staff was available and helpful. There was a mini fridge, microwave, and tv.

This was our first time to Wildwood, the motel was a block away from the beach. The room wasn’t huge, but just enough space with everything we needed, including a fridge and a microwave the beds were comfortable, and the staff at the front desk were very helpful. When we walked in there was a strong smell of chlorine. We thought it was just heavy duty cleaning but I’m hindsight it looks like they were trying to get rid of ants. On our second day the kitchen was infested with ants. There are no seal around the doors or the air conditioning units. We had to throw away all our food and then go out and pay for breakfast. We will never stay there again.

Room pictures made it look a little nicer than it was. Still a decent hotel. Old structure that they updated with newer furniture and a poorly done paint job. Walls are very thin so you hear everyone around you.

We had several ants in our room and it wasn’t even summer yet. We were only there 2 nights so I didn’t make a thing of it. Also the chain lock on the door was very flimsy and should be replaced.

Staff was very nice and accommodating. In a nice location with a lot of food options nearby. 2 parking lots so finding a spot wasn’t hard.

The pictures are very deceiving. Our sheets were dirty and had to be changed, we were provided 3 towels and 1 wash cloth for 4 people, and when we went to the front desk to get more towels, the woman at the front desk told us to get them ourselves. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting. I would not walk around without my shoes on. In the morning we found a cockroach on the floor, killed it, and brought it to the front desk in a tissue. Since we booked through Expedia, the property couldn't help us and said to contact Expedia. I paid over $400 for a 1 night stay (in the off-season) and was refunded $52, and the property was \"unreachable\" many times when Expedia tried reaching out. Do NOT book here. Most awful experience I've ever had.

I’ll start with the good. The staff was very kind and waited for us as it was late (after 10 pm and we came from far away) before we could get to the room to check in.

The room was “swept clean” but it was not clean at all and it smelled of third degree smoke. The bed sheets were clean and kitchen table and chairs clean but that’s it. The bathroom floor was dirty, and we killed a fat spider on the floor. The bathroom had a screened open window and suspect the bug came from this. There was old soap “leftover” in the drain. That was the most disgusting part as well as the third degree smoke. I kept the bathroom open just to get the fresh air to off set the third degree smoke.

I booked for two nights but found another place down the road for less and it was so much better. I chose not to say anything that night as it was late for everyone and again the staff at the front desk was really nice but we all needed to go to bed.

Never ever could I recommend this place.

Wow where do I begin, at first the Motel sent me texts that said Welcome and if there is anything you need let us know, so that’s awesome,this place needs so much work the kitchen had 2 cups couple plates couple bowls, plates and bowls were dirty
The refrigerator was clean. I didn’t feel safe because the door to our room had a chain and a lock no peep hole and it had a gap that let in so much cold air. The window in the kitchen when you opened it, the screen was totally ripped and flapped down into the window, all electrical outlets were painted like a child painted them, beds were fine and extra blankets we asked for had stains, I have pics if anyone wants to see

This was a cute little motel and for the price and being one night it was doable. The room was very small and the bed took up 90% of it. Not sure if all rooms are like that, but ours was. But again, one night. It had a microwave and a fridge, bathroom, shower and AC unit. Bed was comfortable. No noise issue and we are about 2 blocks from the boardwalk. We walked to Mudhen brewery which was less than a mile and a nice walk! I would stay here again if it was for a night again. More than that, I would choose something more comfortable in regards to space.

This was a work trip, I was performing in Cape May Sunday night and got this place for 2 nights so I could spend an extra day in the area. When I made the reservation Hotels.com only allows you to pick 2, 3 or 4 people in your reservation, even if you're traveling by yourself. This had never been an issue until I stayed at this hotel when they guy asked me who else was staying with me. I told him Hotels didn't give me the option to pick 1 person. He goes 'well then why did you pick 2 queen beds?' Because again, that was the only option aside from the King bed suite and I don't need a king bed.
Then he started explaining parking to me, it sounded like he wanted me to move my car to the other side of the lot. So I moved it to where he pointed and he stood outside watching me unpack the whole time which was a little awkward, he must have really thought someone was staying with me despite my car being packed with camping equipment and music gear.
and a half hour later he shouts up to my room to move it because I was in a private spot. If my car was fine where it was, I don't know why he wanted me to move it.
The room itself needed some minor repairs but was over all clean. There was no door frame so it was a bit drafty. Over all, I felt like the awkward house guest that was in trouble for everything. I'll probably pick another place in the future if I'm back in the area.

We checked in to the most nastiest and dirtiest room
we have ever seen! The pictures are very deceitful! The room had ants, spider webs and sand in every corner. Mold in the bathroom floor. Hair all over the tub. Toilet rims were black. My daughter feet were black from just walking around the room for a minute. The remote had food or candy all over it. We requested to please be moved. We were moved to another room that was just as filthy. The best part was when we walked into the bathroom and seen Pubic hair in the tub and the owner said “ no it’s just a crack” proceeds to touch it to then have public hair on his fingers!! At that point he said ok we will cancel reservation with refund with Expedia. We check out, contact Expedia and owners lied and denied our refund. It’s a shame that this business would be so foul. They also own BelAir and that’s very run down. Avoid these places they are rude and scammers. Hope this review can save someone from such a disappointment or loss of hard worked money.

I chose this place based on other positive reviews, however there are a few reviews that are bad and it seems they got the same room as us. We requested a king room. We got a room that was obviously converted from a storage room on the ground floor behind the ice maker-very loud with people coming at all hours to get ice. It was barely large enough for the king bed. The bathroom was extremely small and no bathtub, as described in the room category. Only a tiny shower stall. The toilet was loose and crooked. No hairdryer. No place at all for luggage. Two tiny windows with broken blinds- the view was an alley behind a bar, so anyone could see in. The smoke detector was missing when we arrived, so we called and they did replace that promptly. The front door looked as though someone forcibly tried to break in at some point. When we arrived the smell of bleach was so strong that we had to leave for a few hours. It was clean, though. The mattress was comfortable, though the fitted sheet was not large enough and was difficult to tuck in on one side because the bed was crammed against the storage unit housing the refrigerator, so I was constantly pulling the sheet as not to lay directly on the plastic mattress protector which grossed me out. I would have also appreciated a coffee maker. The owners were nice though, calling us promptly at the check in time when the room was ready, not a minute before. We were only there for one night, had it been longer, we would have absolutely left.

This was a three night stay. The price was good and this place had a rating of very good so i considered that a Jackpot, stupid me. Its super close to the boardwalk which is not something i usually look for. All the locals frequent the places nearby, even the junkies. Limited parking at the hotel but there is a lot across the street where you cant see your car so don't leave anything in it. You have do do a luggage drive-by. The other guests were SO loud, woke us up at 6am having a full on debate in front of our door. The walls are paper thin and the door to the room looked and felt like one good shove and all your stuff would be GONE! No housekeeping. Oh well. Room was small-all beds and table. Whoever put the shower curtain up was clueless. The entire floor gets soaked aver time you use the shower and you cant adjust it. Good thing you can go get your own towels because you need them for the floor. No need to exfoliate because the shower pressure will take your skin off. The thing that sticks in my mind most is that when we arrived i took my shoes off and my feet were covered in sand and dirt in about 4 steps. I kept them on for the rest of the time. Ill keep myself in the crest from now on.

We called ahead and asked for a room on first floor, we were told we could have that and we had reserved a king bed. On checkin, they decided to move us to two queens and said we did not call about the first floor room. The room looked recently remodeled, except bathroom tile. It was clean. We did not like that the key chain and the parking pass clearly had our room numbers on them. The door jam had evidence of the door previously having been broken into. And as others have stated, the hot tub was not hot and the pool not heated. Appreciate the cleanliness but it needs work.

Never In My Life.....

Don't know where to start. Asked for a king bed. Buyer beware. The \"room\" we were given, more like a converted closet, for $400, I might add, was literally 10 x 10. We measured it. With a king bed right in the center, we literally had only 1 foot to maneuver around the bed (between bed and wall), all while ducking to make sure we didn't walk into the TV hanging on the wall. Bathroom was slightly bigger than a large casket. Toilet was CROOKED and unstable. Windows? Tiny, with an air conditioner occupying one. The other looked out, through the broken blinds (no privacy) onto an alleyway of a bar. The floor was dirty enough that I had to wash my feet in the morning from my nightly bathroom trips. EWW! Totally confused - the pics on the site did their job. Major bait and switch. AVOID AT ALL COSTS - especially a $400 cost! Shame on them for charging so much for HALF a room...not even worth $50/night.
