We are family friendly motel . We are one block to the beach and world famous boardwalk. Surfcomber Motel has free parking one car per room and complimentary coffee is served daily. We are surrounded by many top restaurants in the area including Mud Hen brewery a top choice .

stove was very old did not use it parking was not easy to get in the space golf cart was parked directly in front of our room so it was difficult to get the correct angle to get in the space plus the car in the space beside ours was over the white line took alot of maneuvering to get parked in the morning another golf cart parked directly behind pur truck so we were completely blocked in had to wait for the office to open to see if the manger knew who had the golf carts and could move them so we could leave the motel to go site seeing late start for MON no coffee filters or coffee packs in the room although we had a coffee maker had to wait for office to open to get coffee at 10 am from the Keurig machine in office I want coffee when I wake up at 7:30 AM towels and washcloths were very thin bar of soap was very small manager was very helpful getting the golf carts moved \"kitchenet\" was not what I thought it was going to be we did not spend alot of time at the motel we had family staying at a house in North Wildwood which is where we were most of the time

The surf homer was a quaint little hotel. That was a slice of nostalgia. The room itself was really nice. The beds were very comfortable. The only unusual thing for us was the times in which there was no staff on site, but I wonder if that was something that was unique to the area that we were saying.

The person responsible for giving the keys was great. This isn’t a review about staff. He accommodated our late arrival which was kind of him. But. The SHEETS. There was hair all over it, crumbs and the bathroom was not cleaned. It was as if the cleaning people just made the bed. The floors were disgusting. We absolutely had no choice but to stay, we only booked for the night. This was a last minute decision, book the night before since we already had our vacation booked elsewhere in WW. Details just so you get why we had no choice.

My main priority is cleanliness. This place is very clean. As stated by other reviewers the parking is extremely tight. Great bagel/coffee shop a short walk away which was a bonus. Complimentary coffee available in the office but they didn’t open until 9.

I had higher hopes for this property based on all the good reviews. The floor was filthy but couldn’t tell until the floor got wet in the bathroom and I wiped them up with a towel that turned grey instantly. We were told that our beds were queens but they were not and told us they measured 60 inches across- I’m 61” tall and it came to my lower calves when laid across the bed. The parking was very tight and we had to park in the emergency parking spot out front the second night. We did not get a chance to swim but the pool looked good. The water was hot for the shower but the stall had peeling paint on the floor. It smelled slightly of chlorine or bleach. The TV uses an old fashioned remote that was dirty. The front desk lady was nice and came to show us how to wiggle the key to get it to work. We will probably not stay here again. However, I was thankful there seemed to be no bugs.

Perfect for a no frills stay. Our room was small but was remodeled (new flooring and fresh paint). The beds were comfy. It had the essentials like a frig and mic. Pool was well kept. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Convenient location; walking distance to boardwalk/beach, mini golf, shops, and plenty of restaurants.

my boyfriend and i stayed for 5 nights. our room was really nice and clean. the beds are cozy. they have housekeeping come around every morning. the pool was nice and they have a tanning/seating area. everyone was super friendly and we just loved the place. would absolutely stay here again

The property was as it said it would be. It was a great spot. Not too far from the beach and boardwalk. They have a parking spot for one vehicle and just as most of the motels, it was tight, but available and you don't pay extra. We would stay there again.

I chose to stay here because of the good rating but I am beginning to ask myself who actually stayed here! First, let’s start with parking - it’s tight, someone can easily hit your car. The rooms are small, the room smelled old, mattresses were so bad - I have the worse back ache & so does my daughter. The walls are thin, last night there was a couple fighting very loud and let’s just say they were ghetto, raunchy & I knew all their business. The bathroom is so small. thank God we only stood 2 nights - not what I expected but I guess you get what you pay for. The only good thing is the location.

The only good thing about this place was the price. The hotels parking was absolutely horrendous. The parking lot was tight with not enough spaces. Once we parked we were afraid to leave because we didn’t know if we would be able to park again when we got back. The pictures of the rooms are deceiving, they are so small. I couldn’t imagine having more than 2 people in a double queen because with just two of us we were constantly bumping into each other. The cleanliness was also not great; the walls had spots all over them and the shower looked questionable. The sheets looked clean so there’s a plus. The front desk staff was nice as well.

Everything was real nice quiet very walkable to the boardwalk only 1 block away, the only thing I can think of is the beds the mattress were a little uncomfortable I would recommend getting better mattresses and it will be perfect but besides that everything was great would consider staying there again

Glad the gf and I tried the Surf Comber, location is literally across the street from the beach / boardwalk and it was a beautiful, safe, newly renovated place.. very clean, including bathrooms, and attentive staff. TV was big, and room was huge size for the basic, and had new cute Wildwood decor and fresh paint. Parking was easy and onsite. Deck and pool / outside seating per room is very tight and communal so there was not a lot of privacy, and some strange guests, but for the comparatively low price no complaints !

The location is perfect. It is right by convention center on the boardwalk and walking distance from lots of diners, eateries, and mudhen brewery. We barely used our car once we got there but there was lots of spaces available. Also, the pool is pretty big and has a nice 8ft part that my kids loved. It was clean, conveniently located to everything or anything you’d want to do and also reasonably priced. We will definitely be back again.

I'm ok with old but not dirty. There was sand in the beds and the shower was clogged. The property and rooms need a good cleaning.

It was an enjoyable vacation for my daughter, grandaughter and grandson. The room was clean when we arrived, but we did not realize we had to put a sign out daily to have maid service( fresh towels & trash emptied). One area of concern was black mold in the bathroom on the corner edge of the shower on the baseboard, but on a whole, the room was clean and it was nice having a kitchenette, coffee maker and microwave. The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. The staff were very nice and helpful.

This family ran wildwood property was a quick trip for our sons AAU Basketball tournament. Being My first time to wildwood I had no idea where to stay. After reading reviews and seeing pictures for 500.00 father's day weekend the Surf Comber Motel is a amazing location to boardwalk, beach, convention center, dollar store etc. Booking was easy threw Expedia. We called and spoke To Owner Mike who was pleasant and awaiting our arrival 24hr in advance to comfirm checkin times. We arrived received to a clean room with too beds mic, toaster, coffee maker, full size fridge and stove top burner with supplies to cook. On day two housekeeper Mayra was at our room offering move towels etc. My daughter closed our room door, Mr Dyllon front deck manager was there to assist our family with smiles and conversation. Mr Roy from the mantinence team was seen checking the property grounds and pool areas daily. We will be staying at this location aways and will past i formation on to our family and friends

The service was excellent! He was very friendly and helpful. The room was nice, however the bathroom was very tiny. The washcloths and hand towels were so thin, you could see through them. Also, the parking was very tight. I have a bigger car and had a hard time getting into and out of the parking spot. Overall, it was not a bad place to stay, and I would stay here again.

My husband and I stayed 1 night to see the kite festival. We arrived 2 hours before check-in and were able to get into our room. Dylan at the desk was very friendly and helpful about the area. The rooms are not fancy but are clean and tidy. Would definitely stay again!

It was very nice, we loved it there. The second day of our stay a few loud guests showed up but you have to expect that anywhere. Would definitely stay here again

Clean 50’s style motel a block from the beach and easy walk to the pier with attractions and rides. My family and I had a wonderful stay. The motel is equipped with a little stove, fridge, microwave and even coffee pot to brew your own. Also has a grill to bbq. Staff was friendly and we had no issues. We will definitely be back to visit Wildwood! Great for families.
