Receptionist checking in was very sweet. Easy check in and check out.
Our TV never would connect to the internet nor could our iPads or phones even having the passwords.
Restaurant down stairs in my opinion was very expensive for what is offered. Window service needs some people skills.
Our room was clean but the beds were horrible. Lumpy mattress. That could be fixed in my opinion. Our room was across from the supply area and actively busy early in the morning as expected it would be. No real view as was expected but a small view of the tennis and pickleball courts.
Elevator is scary…. But since I can’t do steps I endured it. I was waiting to get stuck in it… 😏
Pool area was very clean and tended too at night regularly.
The location is perfect for the beach view and walking to it.

This place was great for our stay. The only thing I didn't like was that sand came up through the floor panels all the time. The cleaning staff was super helpful and always swept it up when I asked but it was the only thing i could even \"complain\" about, but it's not really even a complaint. The property was really nice and well maintained.

The owners were very rude housekeeping was wonderful, but we did not need their service until we left the guy who wants a place came at me very rudely instead of speaking like a normal human being not allowed Never seen more signs in my life anywhere that things we were not allowed to do… I think they failed to realize that we were on vacation will never stay there again

This was a nice property with plenty of space in the room for my family of five. It’s located directly across from the beach and only a 25 minute walk to the wildwood boardwalk. Great location, pleasant and accommodating staff. We would stay here again!

The stay was great. I was kind of surprised after reading all the reviews before booking, deciding to just take a chance, and see how wrong the reviews were. The management was kind, the property was clean, and overall it was a great experience.

I will agree, the parking spots are tight fit for a bigger vehicle but it was manageable. The only other annoyance was the hotel behind Olympics Resort had bright lights shining into our bedroom that I could suggest better black out curtains to avoid the brightness. However if you travel a lot. You know sometimes it’s just a part of the deal.


Highly enjoyed our weekend away. The room was perfect to fit the needs of my husband and children. The pool was refreshing and the location was perfect. Looking forward to staying again in the future.

We were there for a rainy memorial day weekend, so couldn't use the amenities, but everything about the stay was great. They cleaned, made the beds and replaced the towels while we were away after 1 day, which we didn't know would happen, so nice surprise. The front desk manager was great, always there and informative. The cleaning lady was very pleasant when seeing her. Would definitely stay here again!

Location was the only positive. The property is old and dated. Charging .25cents for ice from a vending machine... really. Had an issue with our reserved room, had a bad odor of bleach which manager blew off as painting outside. It was impossible to stay in that room. Manager made us feel like our complaint was not real but they offered a lesser accommodation but not offered an adjustment to our original room
charge.
I would never recommend Olympic Island Beach Resort to anyone!! EVER

The room came with a sofa bed, but no linens were in the room. This was problematic since the front desk is not staffed 24/7.
In addition, the back bedroom was very bright when trying to sleep at night -- there were no blackout curtains and very bright lights outside. No hair conditioner provided (\"conditioning shampoo\" only).
The property had a great location right on the beach and near parks. Sufficient parking.

The hotel was nice. It’s walkable to the main attractions of the boardwalk, but far.
The cost is equal to the hotel. It’s nothing fancy, but priced as such. It is safe and quiet. Beds are comfortable.
The WiFi is terrible and tvs didn’t work well. Obviously that isn’t the main objective going to the shore, but with kids those things are necessary at certain points of the day.

The room we booked was very clean and very spacious for a hotel in Wildwood and the staff was very nice. The location is perfect as it is close to everything. Only downside is that the parking is very tight and very limited so we were only able to have one car parked at the hotel. We had to pay for parking for our other car.

The staff were fantastic. Super friendly, accommodating and professional. The location was great too, right on the beach. However, the room had and extrememly strong bleach smell that made me sick. The staff cleans with bleach and tried to remove the smell for us once I brought it to their attention, but couldn't. I appreciated the effort.

We had a really bad experience in this property due to the unwelcoming attitude, the manager was racist and didn't communicate properly, had an attitude and treated us as if we didn't belong there, didnt explain the regulations, he treated our family members like criminals, he verbally abused one of our friends and kicked us out with our children with no consideration, we had no where else to go and he didnt reimbursed our money

Beware of the family apartments… I looked for quite a while before deciding to book. The pictures they advertise for the family apartments show a really nice remodeled room with a newer kitchen and bathroom ect. When we arrived I was given a key to room that looked like it was from the 70’s and had a rusted refrigerator. It was nothing like the advertised room. When I addressed the hotel manager he said that the rooms In the pictures were the remodeled ones, and that we got an old one!! He said those were all rented!! I told him this is unacceptable and stood my ground.. He ended up giving us a cleaner version of the first room, but still nothing like what I paid for in the pictures… Still old kitchen and bathroom. ect I believe this is false advertising and we should receive some money back… I take my family of 4 on a beach vacation every year and we made the best of the situation, but we’re very disappointed because of the deceiving pictures. Stay away as there are too many choices that don’t try and false advertise

Elevator was broken we were on the third floor with a 2 year old understandable that they had no accommodations on the first floor we checked out after 24 hours we had four nights so unsafe don't up and down three flights of stairs staff didn't know if the elevator was ever going to be fixed so we checked out the next morning management didn't even offer to reimburse us what a crappy way to do business wouldn't stay here if it was free and with $1,000 a cash

The room set up was very convenient, with the beds being in a separate room, and the location of the property is great with good views of the beach. The room and staff kept the place nice and clean. The gentleman at the desk is a bit short and not the most welcoming. Our floor in the room was uneven and our safe didn’t work properly even after someone came in and reset it. The biggest thing since we were on the third floor is the the metal railing of the balcony was broken where it should have been fixated to the walk way. In stead of fixing it there were shims wedged in there so it wouldn’t wobble as much. With small children that was a big concern.

Family of 4 stayed Wednesday to Saturday. It was so nice. The room was clean, old but new and cleaned everyday! Kitchen was a perfect addition to the room. My kids loved the pull out sofa. The pool was nice. The restaurant was good! Breakfast & lunch, and the people working it were always so nice and helpful. Front desk was great, they let us check in as soon as we got in and was very helpful with ideas and things going on in the area! We really enjoyed our stay here. We were so sad to leave wildwood!

Great ocean front spot. Enjoyed our one night stay. I would def recommend! Clean rooms, friendly staff! I am temporarily disabled as a result of surgery and the manager took my wheelchair and other gear into consideration and changes our room to one that was easier to navigate. We will definitely be back!

Great place to stay in wildwood crest. Management was very nice during check-in and check-out. Great information given to us during check-in to help with our stay. Our room was updated and very clean when we arrived. We have everything we needed in the small kitchen area. It was great for our stay to have the small stove to make breakfast. We rented bikes to go to the boardwalk but it was not a bad walk either.

This, like most Wildwood motels, was an older building. It was also overpriced, like most of the others.
But, the motel room had a nice makeover, with modern decor, and the view of the ocean was fantastic. But, it could've been cleaner. Also the drains went down slowly in the bathroom sink and tub. And, a leftover opened bottle of soda was in the fridge and the outside of the fridge door had a liquid (soda?) stain on it that no one bothered to clean. There was a loud group that stayed at the motel and pretty much took over the place doing their game of room tours. My husband and I were there for some peace and quiet so this was rather annoying. The location (close to the beach and within walking distance to the boards) and ocean view were the best part of this place.

We booked well in advance and when we asked for an upper floor - were told first come first serve. At checkin we arrived very early and asked for an upper floor and were told those are reserved for “regulars” and we can’t have it ! WOW! So we paid over $200 a night to be on the bottom floor , bad view, and 5 feet from the noisy pool with constant foot traffic and everyone staring straight into our room as they passed. So not okay. Stay away - give your money to a friendly resort like Pan Am or Cara Mara
