The hotel charge $330 for pet per day while expedia stated pet fee is $280 when I booked. This is fauce information on Expedia. If I knew they charge $330 per day, I would not book this hotel. Other than that, the room is clean, and location is good.

Very close to the historical center of Puebla. Many good restaurants and cafes nearby. Fast elevator. Gym lacks air con but doesn't get insufferably hot. The room has an alcove with a large shelf where you can easily and comfortably open your suitcase instead of having to open it on the floor. One negative here: although this is a modern hotel, it lacks a laundry room for guests. The closest laundromat is a 15 minute walk away and is quite busy due to lack of public laundromats in the vicinity.

If you are looking for a super affordable option for a solid 4 stars almost in core downtown Puebla this is your option.

Distance: Is convenientely located just steps from a couple of the main avenues and only a 10-15 mins walk to the main plaza (Cathedral etC) in Puebla city downtown.

Hotel: Rooms are in agreement with the description they are not fancy yet comfortable, they have the services you might need for a short trip, love the idea they have multiple electrical outlets and usb ports for your devices, they have an in room refrigerator with basics at really afordable prices. Bathroom and shower are small but again you are not paying resort prices, this is a boutique hotel.

Restaurant: We only did breakfast there, it was convenient, good taste, and reasonable efficient (we wait a little bit cause they got a massive group that morning). However you're walking distance from one of the best options for breakfast in the city \"Casa Reyna\".

Facilities: The hotel is clean, the decoration is consistent with the concept, if anything I'd like to criticize is the lighthing arrangements in the hallways. They are set to be activated by motion sensors and those are set so far away from each other so you kind of walk in the dark (happened on my floor, 2nd floor) nothing major but a detail I'd fix.

My only real complain was my room location, great view, amazing yet being on the 2nd floor in the corner of two avenues was a tad noisy.

In a nutshell a great deal for your $

Me parece que la relación calidad precio es inadecuada. Tuvieron que cambiarme de habitación porque la que me asignaron inicialmente tenía las sábanas, almohadas y el cubre colchón sucio, no funcionaba una lámpara, las toallas estaban todas rotas de las orillas, se veían viejas y percudidas.

En la habitación a la que me cambiaron las toallas estaban igual y tuve que pedir nuevamente que me las cambiaran.

La televisión solo tiene canales de TV abierta y las puertas no se les puede poner bien el seguro.

La ubicación es muy buena y eso ayuda pero creo hay mejores opciones.

Great place and location with great customer service; however, the WiFi didn't work during the three nights I stayed there. This place doesn't even offer WiFi in lobby area. I had to visit the coffee shop inside the hotel to buy a coffee and pastry to have access to WiFi. I was working during this trip; having access to WiFi was essential. I recommend hotel leadership to invest in WiFi connectivity even if for a fee. I feel customers would not mind paying.

The rooms are pretty small. Wouldn’t recommend for long stays. Our bathroom door wouldn’t lock and the AC didn’t give us an option to adjust the temp. The location is great and it was clean. I’d stay again if they provide a discount and need to stay overnight within that area.

If your a lite sleeper play some rain sounds or music to sleep because the traffic on the busy main road will keep you up. Food was good, Staff was wonderful! Had a great stay!

the bathroom door, is not label of wish way is to be open, and once you inside, it is very hard to close, no room to close it, once you inside, the bathroom has three nobs, but they are no label, my companion got shower with cold water, the people at the reception were not very welcome in, one in particular the girl that work at night time, not very friendly

Les recomendaría poner una mesita y unas sillas quizás en el balcón que tiene de cristal para al menos disfrutar de Room service y observar el atardecer que se ve espectacular. De mi viejo café el restaurante no probé más que el café moka pero la verdad no fue muy bueno, ojalá que mejoren su sabor. El lugar es lindo, el area de la chimenea es muy Agradable y bonita. Su staff es amable y definitivamente voy a volver.

Pro: Hotel appearence is beautiful and the rooms are well designed and layout makes the rooms feel mordern and comfortable.
Con: HORRIBLE customer service/hospitality both on the phone and in person. We booked two rooms (with Terrece and exterior) listed on Orbitz and when we got to our rooms we were given standard rooms. When we approached the young lady at the front desk (\"karny\") she was shockingly rude (in spanish) and stated \"Expedia has the wrong rooms listed on the website, there is nothing she can do.\" As for the \"VIP Access\" perk (free valet parking) she flat out said \"No.\" I spent over 3 hours on the phone with Expedia/Orbitz to help with a resoultion and the end result is they too stated the hotel personal were rude and hung up on them- so I was given no resoultion or direct explanation from either party. Beware that the room you select may not be the room you are given with no direct explantion to why. In conclusion, I won't stay at the Hotel Ikonic again. I hope the Expedia/Orbitz Team is fairly taking not of this \"bait and switch\" practice the hotel has executed and the incredibly problematic staff that works there.

I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions and this last time will be my last.

I booked the Deluxe King room - on the 4th Floor, and one that I have stayed in before. Instead, I was given a much smaller room with a much smaller terrace on the 3rd Floor. When I mentioned this to the manager Carla and her staff I was treated with disdain and my reservation, already paid for, was not honored. The reason Carla and her staff gave was that an event was taking place and even though I booked weeks in advance I was essentially downgraded and it was always incumbent on me to ASK SPECIFICALLY for the 4th Floor. Incredible reasoning given that should never have been my responsibility to do as the rooms on the 3rd floor and 4th floor are absolutely different. Their solution was that I could cancel and leave, even though my original request had been paid for.

Absolutely poor client service. I was not reimbursed for the price of the room difference. Both Carla and her staff should reconsider whether they can properly do their jobs.

I recommend Hotel Casareyna, just a block away, and much nicer with professionals available to help you enjoy your stay.

When we arrived, we were surprised to see that the family-sized room we booked had no windows. I can live with a windowless room for one night, but for a family staying for four nights, it was a little grim. When we asked to be switched we were told that all the family rooms share this layout. We finally got the hotel to agree to put an extra mattress on the floor in one of the double rooms that had windows, and it made our stay much better. Apart from that issue, the rooms are comfortable and the bathrooms fantastic (wonderful shower pressure!) and the buffet is ample and delicious.

Fun style from the outside and in the main areas. Very easy checkin and checkout with expedia booking; didn’t need to provide a credit card, just paid cash for extras.

Room was a little tight and our thermostat didn’t seem to help it from being just slightly too warm, but it was clean, the bed was comfortable, and it had a nice shower. Wifi was blocking gmail over IMAP so I had to keep switching to LTE.

It’s an easy walk to Puebla’s Zocalo with a lot of shops and restaurants and street vendors. The barrio del artistes is especially interesting.

For the price and location, this hotel is a great value and experience. Located just across the street from the main part of the historic city center, it's great for walking (and generally costs less than most similar hotels that are inside the historic zone). The pop culture artwork in the room is a fun touch. Rooms are small but comfortable and clean. There are some quirks that need to be resolved (there were no chairs on our balcony, and they hadn't made our room, even after we were out until 5pm, on one day). But overall this is a very pleasant and comfortable choice with an excellent location/price combination.

This property comes through fully with what it offers as far as we were able to perceive from our two day stay. Location was excellent. Internet service was excellent, bedding excellent, the design of the smaller rooms is so efficient and compact, one does not notice the smallness. Just would recommend that the toilet doors be replaced with sliding doors.
We also appreciated the Sanborne in front for last minute essentials from the pharmacy and others. The location was so good, we even benefited from a boot repair store just around the corner. This is a well run hotel operation. Others in our group of six rooms had the same good feelings. Puebla is a wonderful city to visit.

Ikonik Hotel was absolutely amazing! It was the perfect location in Puebla. Walking distance to TONS of things and literally next door to a mall! The staff was very nice and helpful. I changed my room when I arrived and it was a smooth process. I got a street view room and it was incredible because the mountains and volcano were in my view! Check in and out was so quick and easy. If I'm ever back in Puebla, hands down, I'll be back at Ikonik!

The hotel was pleasantly modern and clean, the rooms adequate in size and services good. Our only frustrations were around the parking (not clearly explained so we paid both the garage and the hotel) and the lack of facecloths (only hand towels and bath towels are available). The breakfast buffet was worth the price for sure.
One complaint - the price I guaranteed through Expedia was not the price I ended up paying (my actual bill was almost 20% more than the published price despite spending almost 30 minutes discussing with the front desk person and showing a printed copy from the website).

Don’t drink the coffee or you will be charged

The hotel has nice facilities and is relatively new. When I booked the hotel I read the reviews about the issue of how noisy it could get the street because of traffic, and I definitely agree. The stafff is really nice but there are two things which will make me not to book this hotel in the future: we had to pay for the coffee in the room (as much as we travel, coffee in the room is always free and I was surprised about the charge when we checked out) and two, the showers were horrible (every time we showered the room was a mess and you have water all over the hall in the room). I recommend the manager to hide the cost of coffee on the rate and include it as a nice thing to differentiate you since the coffee was really good or just don’t offer coffee, but don’t charge it. Also benchmark the hotels in the surroundings, they have the same free coffee, better food in their restaurants and don’t charge for parking).

This hotel was even nicer than the pictures made out!. It was renovated less than a year ago so everything is very modern and clean. The bathroom is very spacious and nice, and the TV and cable access was great.
The location was nice for us - a short stroll to the zocalo. The only downside was that our room was facing the main road so we had noise and lights coming into our room all night - I would request a room on the other side of the hotel. Other than that, the staff were great, breakfast was good and the rooms were modern and clean.

El hotel estuvo perfecto durante mi estancia. La habitación me pareció muy original, con un estilo tipo loft que la hace diferente y muy interesante. Como viajero mayor, me resultó muy cómoda y tranquila.

La limpieza fue muy buena y el servicio a la habitación excelente, siempre atentos y eficientes. En una ocasión tuve que ajustar la cortina eléctrica, pero fue algo menor y no afectó mi experiencia.

En general, el hotel me pareció casi como una obra artística, con un diseño muy especial y agradable. Lo recomiendo sin duda para quienes buscan un lugar cómodo, diferente y bien atendido.
