Room was nice. Furniture needs a little updating but close proximity to everything. It's no longer than 10 mins from the Navy base and plenty of shops across the street. Our daughter graduated from the Navy and we wouldn't trade our experience for nothing.

Come back from Florida to visit home in Chicagoland area. Every time I look forward to The daytime manager or front desk woman with big hair was so amazing and friendly; very accommodating with big energy! I always come back because of her and the rest of the staff! The room was clean bed comfy and enough pillows as I am pregnant as well. Everything was perfect as always

I arrived on a late flight and ended up arriving early morning and was not allowed to check in due to the “audit”. Very inconvenient because I didn’t have a place to stay to get some rest. Shopping center is right across the street. CONS: Walls VERY thin and can hear everything in next room and hallway. Last night of stay was sleepless because next room was arguing and had a party with music blasting. Mold coming out of outlet and AC vent. Bathroom tiles cracked and broken. Sofa bed-not even useable-paper thin and completely worn out. Recliner kept closing while sitting in it. TV didnt work in one of our rooms. Stayed 4 nights and never had anyone come to take trash. Very outdated.

Had a great time at this hotel. The front desk receptionist were extremely nice and friendly. One of the receptionist offered to take our family's photo for us. It was a special moment for my family because my daughter just graduated Basic Training the day before. My family and I were happy to celebrate her and have a family pic of all of us together. Loved the kitchenette with full refrigerator microwave dishwasher dishes everything we needed. The room was pleasant and clean and I loved the bathtub For my aching back after that flight. Most of all I loved the people that work there Jaden and Medina bent over backwards to be helpful and pleasant. Seriously I absolutely loved being there! Thank you.

I have now stayed at this particular location three times this last of which was not pleasant. I have noticed they need a lot of maintenance around the facility that seems to be a consistent issue. The shower was malfunctioning with loose handles causing the tub to fill up while showering. I asked to be put in another room which was not granted. My iron was malfunctioning as well. The elevator was also down for my second-floor room which was also annoying for this stay.

We stayed for three nights so that we could see our son graduate from boot camp. We normally stay in high end hotels, so we didn’t have huge expectations for this one. Sadly, the Sonesta dropped well below our low expectations. Within the first day the elevator broke down and was never fixed while we were there. Since we were on the third floor with my elderly parents, this definitely impacted our trip. Then on our last night the hot water broke. We all had to take ice cold showers on our last day. Overall the hotel experience was truly terrible. The one thing that redeemed it all was the incredible staff. They were so friendly and kind and made our crappy stay so very bearable.

It was a cute, clean and conveniently located hotel stay with amazing amenities like laundry, appliance borrowing and even a small gym available. Plenty of parking! I even noticed its pet friendly and has a cute small outdoor patio on the side of the building. The room was clean and have no complaints. This is a perfect place to stay for Navy graduation. About 7 minutes away from the Great Lakes base. Loved our stay here.

Sometimes you don't know what to expect when staying at a hotel for the first time. The pictures always look nice but then you get there and things can be a little sketchy. I was pleasantly surprised as was my wife at the condition of the property, the friendliness of the staff, and the overall experience that we had. This is a very well maintained facility and we had a nice stay even though it was a short one. We will definitely be staying at this property again when we visit relatives in the area.

There were no linens for the pullout, which was a super thin mattress even just for our kid. It appears they have tried to update the air conditioner but it was not done well, with a large gap in the connection to the bedroom, making the bedroom very hot at night. The room could have been better cleaned. Dishes were left in the dishwasher, uncertain if they were cleaned or just stained. The vent in the bathroom was thick with dust that needed to be cleaned. The stay was fine for what we needed but the room could use some more attention.
