Needs face lifting.. as said by other reviews.. concerned about safety.. anybody can go in & out of hotel up to your room .. nobody in d front desk all the time .. for sure there’s camera watching in & out of people..understandable coz not a busy place..Towels really overused … though it’s clean... at least change them once in awhile towels are very cheap..talked to d staff at least 2x they were nice.. u can reach them by pressing a button.. we only stayed one nite which is good.. I will not be able to stay for more .. am scared to touch anything..don’t know why.. I never expected this kind of hotel in this area plus from hotels.com

Our keys didn't work. The lady kept saying keep keys away from cell phones and we did. But the keys didn't work. Finally an older gentelman walked down to the door with me with a new key that he held the entire time and he tried to open the door and it failed. There were not enough pillows or towels

I'm betting this has been recently bought, and the new owners are trying to fix it. There were some building materials in the lobby. That said there were many rooms with no numbers on the door, my key took about 10 trys before it would let me in, they had to bring in a lamp because one of the ones in the room didn't work, and we found someone else's leggings in our room as we were packing to leave. Not hidden, and didn't see them the day before. There was no microwave or desk in the room. Never saw a pool, but not saying it wasn't there. It was a bed for 2 days, but not much more. Good wifi though:)

The room was very dusty and not clean at all. The wall had some holes and some off paint spots too. The first night we didn’t have shampoo and conditioners. I thought this hotel doesn’t provide it but next day after I came back to the room and I saw they put them in the bathroom so that means they didn’t prepare the room for the guest. The site said continental breakfast but it was very poor contents. That made me feel no breakfast is better than that. The front was always empty and people weren’t there.

I did not like anything about this property. The property was old, run down. Torn curtains, plastic bag wrapped around smoke detector, boxes stacked up in one of the common rooms, no amenities, a squirrel living in the space of a missing air conditioner are just a few of the things. The only good thing I can say about the place was the maid was very pleasant and helpful. Definitely would not stay again.

Booked this hotel to go to my sisters navy graduation. They have a bus that runs from the hotel to the base which is awesome but if you drive it’s only a quick 10min drive. The price is awesome and their rooms were nice and clean. The customer service was also wonderful. Very friendly people!

The hotel room was poorly lit, even with all lights turned on. The walls were thin enough I could hear the occupants of the neighboring room while they held a normal conversation. The room's walls had water damage, as well as holes from previously mounted equipment (shelving or television, I suspect). Heat was provided by a wall-unit that had to be unplugged to shut off, and the plug was hot to the touch (indicating a wiring problem). The hotel staff was quite friendly; however, housekeeping does not clean your room until after you check out (if you're staying multiple days, housekeeping will not bring you fresh towels or make your bed).

First room we recieved, the door did not lock. When we asked to be moved front desk seemed disturbed that we asked. Second room we recieved had no towels and we had to once again bother the front desk for towels. Lastly the bathtub faucet didnt close all the way, so it was leaking all night long. At this point we didn't want to move since we already unloaded our stuff once again. Not our best stay overall.

Well to start off when we arrived the man running the front desk wasn’t there we had to wait about 20 min for him to show and then he didn’t tell us there wasn’t a elevator when he but us on the 2 Nd fl and when we went up to ck the room there wasn’t even a handle on the bath room door and the room smelled bad so we ended up with a room on the 1 st ck and walked in and there was paint spots on the walls the only good thing I can say is the shower was good also we had asked for towels and it took about 5 hrs before we got them I will never stay at this hotel and also it said it had a pool and it was not available to use

When I first walked in the hotel it had a stale smelll, after checking in when I got in the room it smelled really moldy, the carpet at the base along all of the walls had not been vacuumed cleaned for a while. The dust was piled up on the floor it look like they only had been vacuum cleaning the middle areas of the floor. The room also had no closet so the ironing board was in the corner with the iron which was sitting next to it on the obviously dirty carpet. Under the TV where there used to be a mini fridge you could tell there was water damage at the base. Most of the towels had large stains on them. I could not check out because all hotels in Chicago were booked for the Navy graduation which was why I was there in the first place. I had to go to Walmart and buy two extra large blankets so I could cover the bed and one to cover myself with and towels.

Well, the staff was really great! But the only thing that made me upset is that the housekeeping didn’t clean my room with the 3 days I was there. They picked up dirty towels but we had to go ask them for clean towels. Then I asked for an extra pillow on Friday when I checked in and I didn’t get that pillow till my last night in town

Room was mediocre at best. Worst continental breakfast ever. Rice Krispies, Froot Loops, english muffins, toast, instant oatment, and waffles. Horrible. Bathroom door was coming off the hinges, had to lift the knob in order to close the door. Closet doors were broken and would not stay shut. Seems like no one was ever at the counter, had to ring the bell for service. Heavy scent of marijuana filled the halls at 11PM. Would probably not stay here again unless the price was under $39/nt.

Good for a short stay for a cheap rate

I stayed in this motel because it was close to the Navy base. I attended graduation there. This hotel was semi clean. I only slept in the room The soap dish in the bathroom shower was plastered onto the wall tiles. It was functional for the most part. They also had smoking and nonsmoking rooms near each other. The hallway always smelled of cigarette smoke or marijuana smoke. Again, it served its purpose ... Cheap and functional.

We choose here because our son was graduating boot camp. It was dirty!! First room we were sent to, the beds weren't made and the door frame was detaching. The second smelled musty and had a still washcloth in the shower that was NOT from us. My daughter saw a bug running across the table as well. Robert, front desk staff, was nice and tried to be accommodating. We took the shuttle to graduation--we were told the shuttle would leave at 630, but was actually closer to 7. We actually changed our reservation and went to a different hotel. Dirty, dirty, dirty!

Last minute mistake.

I will NEVER stay at this hotel again.

Asked for a microwave didn't get one.

ASKED FOR 5am WAKE UP CALL FOR SONS BOOT CAMP GRADUATION didn't get one.

Got a connecting room because I'm DISABLED so if I need help I can yell. My brothers room had a leak coming from the bathroom light fixture making the sink and floor wet. We though it best for my brother to stay with me in my 2 bed room room. Water and electricity DON'T mix.

Staff(I don't know the man's name)said he'd refund $20 for that night.

My opinion is the motel should have taken that nights charge off the bill.

My stay here started with the check in, the room I had reserved for over a month was given away to someone else so I had to take a different room. The room had an odor, that the spray just wouldn't cover up, it was a musty, wet, mildewy odor. The coke machines did not work. There was men standing at the back door at all hours of the day and night keeping \"watch\". They had several women coming and going. They would knock on the window and show the guy the money and he would let them up. I heard them tell one guy that this is where he ran his business from and believe me , that's exactly what he was Doing! Me and my family felt very unsafe there. We went out together, and stayed together at all times! Dont stay here u less you want to witness real time prostitution because that's what tbis place is.. a sex shop!

I tried to leave a review but it kept saying I had inappropriate language??? no swearing only telling it like it was

First the pot smoke and smell we we walked through to our rooms was our first indication this was not going to be good, one room had food left in fridge, the other didn't even work, mattresses had to be 50 years old, the mild in showers is disgusting, and noise from the road kept us up all night, the windows and walls didn't filter out anything. It was to late to find a new hotel. So thankful our cars were still there when we checked out, not a good neighborhood either.

There was a miscommunication regarding the shuttle. The desk clerk was rather rude when I stated we were only staying one night. He said there was a 2 night minimum to use the shuttle. Also, it was not stated that I needed to sign up for the shuttle until I happened to ask how many the shuttle could hold and if it had multiple runs.
There were not enough towels in the rooms.

We stayed for our granddaughter's graduation from navy boot camp. The location was good. The breakfast food was not good. The rooms were not very clean, very dark. The place was very run down. Not all of the lights or electrical outlets worked in one room. One night, the police were there looking for a suspect, one night a fight in parking lot. We always had to look for and wait for the desk person.

Only if you don't have another option.

This was fine for a quick overnight stay. The breakfast was very basic. You can tell this is a dated hotel but if all you need is a safe last minute stay for a cheap price, it'll do. The front desk staff wasn't the friendliest, and make sure you book in advance as they didn't receive my reservation and had to make several phone calls. The room was not the cleanest, but I've seen worse.

This caroets were disgusting and dirty with big dirt spots all over and the carpet was loose. They had windows open to the hotel with no screens. No screens on the 2nd floor and windows could be opened. Carped in room were gross-I refused to walk without shoes on. Looked like nothing got wiped down and the bedspread looked as if it had never been washed. We came in late but I kept them updated and even called when on our way. He said just come in. I go in and ring the bell-twice and he never came out. I had to go get my phone and call. He said come in. He still wasn't there and I had to call out. He finally came out. We asked for an extra blanket but they could not provide one as the hotel was full-but the parking lot was pretty empty. ????? Honestly, the bathroom was the cleanest part of the hotel!!!! That says a lot!! I would never stay here again! Nor would I recommend it to anyone.

Great for the price

I paid around $60 for this hotel, so I wasn't expecting anything fancy. However, the hotel room was better than I thought. It was clean and the beds were really comfortable. The staff was friendly and the hotel was very accommodating. They offered a free shuttle ride to and from the navy graduation (which is why I was visiting) and that was a great service to have. The only thing that I didn't like about it was the location. The neighborhood isn't the greatest, especially at night. But other than that, I had a wonderful stay and it was perfect for my visit.

NO FRILLS BUT INEXPENSIVE

WE ONLY STAYED ONE NIGHT, AND IT GAVE US EXACTLY WHAT WE WERE LOOKING FOR; A NO FRILLS AND INEXPENSIVE PLACE TO STAY SO WE COULD AFFORD TO GO TO SIX FLAGS FOR TWO DAYS. THE ROOM WAS CLEAN AND THE BEDS WERE COMFORTABLE. IT WAS NICE THAT THE ROOM HAD A REFRIGERATOR AND MICROWAVE. THEY COULD USE SOMETHING A LITTLE LARGER THAN A 4 INCH PLATE FOR BREAKFAST, ESPECIALLY WHEN OFFERING WAFFLES, BUT OTHERWISE IT WAS ADEQUATE.
