This hotel has had a nice upgrade to the rooms and pool area. Clean and a fresh look. The bar and restaurant tho remain low score. The service there is terrible, the quality of food and drinks is also terrible. And the included breakfast is just not worthwhile.
However the front desk folks are helpful.
Seems like the hotel is just not very cohesive in working as a team. I like the hotel and I would stay again. I just eat elsewhere. Nice pool area but the drinks are awful. The place has the makings of being so much better.

The hotel was under remodeling and took a long time to complete my check in, then when I walked in the room there were people working by the window outside.
Also the water at the jacuzzi was cold, definitely needs a lot more maintenance this installation.

They first put us in a terrible room with a rusty, jail-like view. We complained, and they immediately moved us to an ocean view room at no cost, but we had to give up our king sized bed. Breakfast was free. Otherwise the restaurant was sub-par. The parking was free, but impossible to navigate with an SUV. Corners are simply too tight. Nice dog area. We never tried the pool. Direct beach access, and it's on the bus line.

All the staff were very kind and helpful, but we especially want to thank Antonio Balderas at the front desk, who helped us a lot with our reservations and tours, he was always willing to assist us with a great attitude. Needs an upgrade!

I have stayed in this hotel many times and it’s an okay place I guess. Seems worn and in need of some upgrades. Clean enough. The food remains terrible and the cocktails are also terrible. There is not too much within walking distance. The beach is wonderful as is the pool and hot tub. It just needs an update!

The only positive was the easy walk to the restaurant across the street. The hotel itself was not tolerable. We checked out after one sleepless night. From the small room sizes, that are adequate for an overnight stay but not longer, to mold in the shower, toilet that constantly self flushed and gurgled, to the breakfast that was a shamble by 10 AM when we went down.

Hotel looked decent online and got great reviews but unfortunately we were disappointed. The room we got assigned was dirty, stuff all over the floor and the chair had a gross stain on it so we had to move rooms shortly after check in. The new room was better but the bathroom counter was cracked and it is definitely a little outdated. The housekeeping was a hit or miss, some days it was cleaned decently well and other days there was dirty cups left and the shower wasn’t even cleaned.
Breakfast buffet was okay, fresh fruit and juices were great but there was not a lot of options for vegans/vegetarians. Even the scrambled eggs had ham in it. It was very basic and mostly the same every day. There was no allergy cards either so you have no idea what’s in the food.
We had some issues with the front desk staff as well and did not find them to be particularly helpful. Customer service definitely needs improvement.
Due to the high tides, the beach was washed away and they blocked off the entrance to the beach so you could only access the beach through another hotel. Small inconvenience but not the hotels fault.
For what we paid, it was a decent stay but not somewhere we would necessarily want to stay again.

Wow!! Looooooooved it here!! Park Inn is far away from all the hustle and bustle of the malecón which for some it might be an issue but for us being away 10 minutes was just perfect because the beautiful sandy beach is literally a couple of steps away!! The staff truly AMAZING and the hearing the waves crashing all night long was just dreamy. Breakfast was included and the food was very good with lots of choices. Beds are a bit firm and pillows are small but the cleanliness is great. We will definitely recommend to stay here.

Was pleasantly surprised!!! Beautiful beach and waves 🌊 right in front… breakfast was GREAT!! Buffet settle with some fresh fruit, yogurt, Mexican options, coffee and juices, exceeded my expectations at such a value price!! Nice rooms most with some kind of ocean view… only bummer was hot tub was always cold… I wish they could hear the hot tub for the cooler Mazatlan evenings… hopefully next time… otherwise would definitely come back!!!

Because we booked through Expedia for a standard room with a king size bed, we got a room with a view of rusted steel plates outside our window. When this was brought to the attention of the hotel, I was told that a lack of a view was standard and I should have studied the fine print. The hotel allmost empty and we could have been offered a better room. This was our first and only stay at this property.

Hotel was good, the food was tasteless, and way too overpriced. Small portions given for the price of the food. Pool is not that big and is one FT size all around, the jacuzzi tub isn’t hot at all. The only thing I liked was how clean it is, and the entrance from the hotel to the beach. Everything else was average, but if you are looking for a hotel that has good food, this one isn’t it. Be ready to pay a lot for something you wont enjoy.

The property it self is nice, clean but the room we stayed in was not very clean/nice/good.
Our room had long 12” to 16” hairs on the beds and floors
Floors were not cleaned as we found nail clippings through out the room
The shower lever was loose and fell off ALL THE TIME, hitting me on the foot twice
The shower would flood
The toilet was loose and would not flush completely always
The bathroom sink was clogged
The balcony door (sliding) would not lock properly
The halls have a musty odor and are dirty as in food, garbage in our floor which was first floor

The good stuff about this hotel is the building and pool are super nice. The bad part is the car garage is way too small for anything bigger than a small sedan. We ended up scratching our truck trying to make it into the parking garage. Our shower leaked water into the main bathroom floor and would make its way to the room’s door. There is NO REFRIGERATOR OR MICROWAVE in the rooms which I thought was crazy!
Over all I will never consider staying here again. There are plenty better options in the amazing city.

Eclipse week hotel.

Here for week. Very comfortable accommodations. Had a nice ocean view balcony. Poolside manager Jose Luis was great! Breakfast was good. Only downside was that during the morning of the Eclipse, they had a special buffet prepared which was extra and not included. They did have an alternate meal, but it was confusing to both locals and turistas. Room was serviced daily. Room was smaller but ok for a couple.
Cerritos is north of Zona Dorado. It’s only bus, Uber or taxi ride to downtown. Hotel advertises itself as LGBTQ friendly. Overall, liked this hotel and would return.

1. Had to buy our own ice... AT A HOTEL? gimme a break.
2. Also being told that we wouldn't be getting the free included breakfast because we booked our room in 2023 and the \"policy had changed\" in the meantime was absolute BS
3. The $15 US pina colada I bought at the pool was a glorified Horchata. If you're going to have the nerve to charge $15 for a poolside cocktail you better be putting at least *some* rum in it.
3. All the toilets would whine and scream like banshees when flushed. Bad fill valves in every room.
4. The hot tub is a warm tub.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating, the property was well kept, and nicely landscaped with great access to beach and the breakfast was very tasty with a lot of options but it felt like we were being unnecessarily nickel and dimed by irrationally bad management policies.
Overall we enjoyed our stay but there was just a lot of \"little things\" that were very easily correctable that led me to even think about writing this review.

Para empezar, al registrarnos, me informaron que la reservación, a pesar de ser para 3 adultos, solo incluía 2 desayunos; porque \"eran de cortesía\". La solución que me propusieron fue pagar ~$550 extra. Al día siguiente en el desayuno solo pagué 250 por el desayuno extra. La habitación es extremadamente pequeña y mal distribuida. El baño tiene espacios que no se aprovechan y la habitación se siente demasiado ocupada.
El extractor del baño nunca funcionó, cuando lo reporté 4 veces. La limpieza, en una ocasión no limpiaron el baño hasta que se solicitó nuevamente. Y bueno, si está padre que puedas llevar perros y todo, pero NO deberían permitirlos en el comedor. Respeto y todo, pero, no es higiénico tener a los perros ahí dentro. Al llegar me dijeron que no podía ingresar bebidas ni alimentos externos al área de restaurante inclusive si los traía dentro de mi propia hielera, sin embargo en todo momento vi muchos huéspedes que tenían su hielera y evidentemente estaban ingiriendo sus propias bebidas. Comprensible siendo que el bar abría hasta las 3:00 PM

La atención en restaurante muy buena, aunque los últimos dos días ya fue caos. No había cubiertos ni vasos limpios.

Por último, necesita ser muy habilidoso para estacionarte, sobre todo en los niveles 2 y 3.

Fuera de eso, el hotel es cómodo. Hay restaurantes, farmacias y tiendas de conveniencia cerca. Y siempre fueron amables.
