Room was clean, staff were excellent and very helpful. Air conditioning in the room was adequate. The restaurant on site was mediocre, and we only ate there a couple of times. We ate offsite most of the time and had some really excellent meals. We were disappointed in the fact that there was no small refrigerator in the room. Would have been nice to have some cold drinks in the room along with some snacks.

Breakfast menu was great, except no variety on fruit. Lunch and dinner menus were ok, sometimes mediocre. No seafood served at this hotel in Mazatlan? Food at the pool was horrible. Great location. Receptionist when registering was rude and unaccommodating when I asked about restaurants, etc.

While the rooms are clean and the ocean-view accommodations offer a genuinely pleasant outlook, I strongly advise against purchasing the all-inclusive package. This was, without question, the least “inclusive” all-inclusive resort experience I have encountered. From the moment of arrival, we felt unwelcome and unaccommodated . A simple request for two room keys—one for myself and one for my spouse—was denied under the justification of a “safety issue,” which felt unreasonable and poorly explained.The lack of basic hospitality continued throughout the stay. Our room was stocked with only 2 towels despite a reservation for four guests. When I contacted the front desk to request additional towels, I was questioned about occupancy, even though the booking clearly reflected 4 guests.Dining was another major disappointment. The buffet offerings were consistently mediocre, to the point that we chose to dine off-property on multiple occasions. The reservation system for specialty restaurant was poorly managed—advertised as available between 7:00 AM and 12:00 PM, yet fully booked within minutes of opening. We were only able to secure a reservation on our final day. Even more concerning, my children—who were included in the all-inclusive package—were not permitted to order from the specialty menu and were instead directed to the buffet. Overall, the experience felt short of expectations. I will not be returning to this property nor would I recommend it to others.

Paid for all inclusive, informed it was room only upon arrival. Spanish only communication, extremely limited English, never acknowledged by staff upon entry or exit of hotel, rooms cleaned on a crazy schedule, sometimes 930am, one day they showed up at 6pm. The pools are small, the lounging area at the adult pool (literally 4ft from the family pool) only has 10 chairs, the music is loud, the beach walking bands even louder, the organized tours that take over twice a week monopolize the pool areas, there is literally zero beach area, the couple of chairs you may find down there there are broken, I could go on.... But you get the point. Will never return to the property or Mazatlán in general, not worth half what we paid

I don’t even know how to start this review but my experience with a hotel Viaggio at (Mazatlan) was horrible. I paid for an all inclusive stay and when I arrived, they did not honor that. The worst part was the housekeeping. I requested for waters and coffee every day and not once did the stuff arrived. Not once said they changed out my bedsheets. At one point, I even stopped the housekeeping lady in the hallway and she refused to hand me any waters or coffee. I do not recommend the stay. I feel like they want to be tipped every single day in order to give you good service. That’s not how it works. We pay a really good decent amount for the stay to additionally have to be tipping the housekeeping staff in order to do a good job. Please look elsewhere.

\"AI-lite\" is probably an overstatement.

-No fridge, no stocked drinks in your room

-No alcohol served until 1030am...ie no morning mimosa or bloody Mary.

-No bar to hang out in the evening, they have a limited bar in the sterile coffee shop in the evening

- They run out of sandwiches and snacks by the evening, so your all- inclusive ends there too. You can buy LIMITED food at the coffee shop.

-No sign on the ADULT pool, so kids were constantly getting in, diaper kids... soooo many kids

- Limited sun loungers, get up early

- No AM omelet bar, no bacon, limited variety of food, mediocre at best. Some days they have a taco stand.

- Pool service by José was excellent.

- Top/middle shelf alcohol is not included. No canned or bottled beer or soda is part of the all- inclusive.

- The coffee shop lady is crusty, matronly, and made you feel like you were really putting her out.

- No place to hang out after 9pm. There is a bar outside of the dining area, it would be perfect for later night music and drinks and games etc. Instead the place just dies at 9pm.

We won't re-book.

The property is nice and a nice location. Staff work hard. Two major issues. They make you wear a bracelet the whole time to identify you as a guest. But everyone can also identify where you are staying; I believe it’s a safety issue. The pool has limited seating and people get there early lay out their towels and leave all day. It’s not well managed and frustrating watching 20-30 empty seats at times “watched” by a single family member

We would not stay here again due to the wait staff seeming to cater to Mexican guests. I would say don’t stay here unless you are Mexican or speak Spanish.

I will start this out by saying the good - the rooms are clean, and it has a beautiful view.

However, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who is not fluent in Spanish. Most places I have gone in Mexico (all-inclusive, at least), at least work with you and try to understand when you speak broken Spanish or even English. However, that is not the case here. Even when you try to speak Spanish to the best of your ability the staff makes you feel judged and even gets quite rude with you. Never mind speaking English. This resort caters to Spanish speakers specifically. While we were there, we met maybe 3 other non-Spanish speaking couples.

There is also nothing to do at the resort besides the pool. There are no bars, just the one main restaurant (where the food is not good, by the way), and the pool. Oh, and speaking of the pool, they allow people to save chairs starting as early as 6am. By the time the pool opens at 9 there is not a single chair available. The one time we got there early and saved chairs, by the time we came down, security had removed our belongings from them. We never saw them do this to anyone else, so that was frustrating.

The pool is extremely loud with staff playing games with children over the speakers. Definitely not a good place to relax, but also not a good place to party.

I truly recommend thinking twice about booking this resort. Skip Mazatlan as a whole and go somewhere else in Mexico, honestly.

Room was cleaned daily but amenities were lacking. You practically have to beg for a towel and are only given the bare minimum, I was given 1 facial wash cloth upon request and they wouldn’t change it daily, even when following the guidelines to place towels in shower for a replacement. There is no room refrigerator, no coffee restocked.
Pool is clean and heated.
Beach area is small but accessible. There are no beach chairs or umbrellas. So you’re on your own there.
I wouldn’t stay here again.

Toilet wouldn't flush on day 2
\"Hot water\" in shower takes 2 minutes to reach luke warm
Pool closes at 9pm (kicked us out at 8:53)
Buffet food is not made fresh on-site
All juices at buffet are from a bag
Food selection super limited (2 day rotation)
Out door seating was empty \"You need a reservation\"
Wife wanted a veggie wrap from the cafe. \"Extra\"
Wife wanted a piece of cheese in display case. \"Extra\"
Room service? Not included. \"That's extra\"
Band on the beach with snare drum, 2 trumpets, and tuba played for 5-6 hours per day on the beach.

All in all, we had a good time. It's Mexico after all. But do yourself a favorite a avoid this sad excuse for a resort hotel. Many locals recommended Centro Historico which we will be visiting next time.

Nice property, good rooms. Probably more for Mexican/Spanish-speaking families. Very loud, and the staff’s English was not all that great. We got by. I didn’t understand why they kept asking for our room number if we couldn’t charge anything to the room.m? I put a credit down but kept having to pay at the point of sale.

The wristband you have to wear is pretty annoying.

The room needs more attention. It was very dusty and counters felt sticky. The sink around the inside corners had mold all around. One of the staff members stood out the most. She was so polite, courteous and very friendly. It was also nice that they exchange american dollars to pesos. They also great you at the door and make you feel welcomed. Would recommend

The clean service was okay. They didn’t leave any extra towels and when we asked for some, the cleaning staff took them back with them. When checking out they wanted to charge extra money for services that we didn’t ask for. Took me almost half of hour to fixed the issue, and I didn’t even receive an apology. The only good thing about my stay was our server Carlos Hernandez, he was amazing.

I liked that the room was clean and the ocean view was a plus!
I did not like the our room was not ready when we got there even tho it was way after check in time around 4:30 pm and took another 45minutes to an hour for our room to be ready. Also did not like the fact that we were told we could not can not drink when you are in the pool when other people were drinking in the pool before.Another thing is when we tried to have breakfast in the outdoor patio the pigeons eat our food before us, we went inside afterwards but the outside kitchen was still cooking even tho a bunch of pigeons were around the food it was very unsafe and unhealthy.

This property and the staff unfortunately left the worst experience of a vacation. Being a hotel that should hold standards, they failed to recognize this gravity of this situation. My 90 year-old grandmother sat in a chair inside her room and the plastic broke and she weighs less than 100 pounds. No one apologized for this matter. No one. How did this happen? Who let this happen? It appears the hotel was more concerned about their cheap plastic chairs then a 90-year-old guest. Carlos, the concierge is perhaps the only light in this place. Thank you Carlos for everything. Staff provided some level of care to my grandmother. That was helpful, but again no one apologized for this matter. What a great birthday gift Viaggio to a 90-year-old. Thanks! And they promised her a cake but the extreme lack of communication is extensive. They failed on this issue as well.

We go back to the room at 1 it was undonde, we go back at 3 i was undone we go back at 5 bed was done dirty cups in the restriom towells in the furniture in the living (they was clean or they just folded it wort the priice per night?) We ask for a medium rare meat at the grill we just receive a medium cut at the oven if u like the meat u know thats a big issue

We stayed at Viaggio for 9 nights, in a Deluxe Double Room with Ocean View.The view was amazing! The resort is very lively with music playing all day-long and lots of families.The pools were busy and all the chairs were reserved, way before the pools opened. Impossible to find a chair.The hotel was very clean and smelled good I saw the janitors cleaning the floors regularly during our stay. The housekeeping lady was excellent. We didn't choose the all-inclusive option and don't regret it as there are many good restaurants at a walking distance of the hotel. Carlos, the concierge, booked a private Tequila Tour for us. It was one of our best days visiting El Quelite and La Noria. Viaggio is very well located and we felt very safe in that area at all times.

The rooms were nice and comfy. The WiFi was perfect never an issue. Whatever issue we had, it go resolved right away. The only thing missing in the room is a small fridge.
