Had to replace key card twice in three days. Not even a toothbrush glass in the room. No pool towels. Fruit on the breakfast buffet that had probably been out too long. The kiwi tasted like fish.

The Hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly.The pools were also clean and our room overlooked the main pool with the bar and I could see it was hosed down and swept everyday. We had breakfast each day we stayed here and it was lovely. Our room we stayed in was a double standard it was very clean and fit for what we needed in our stay but just a bit tired here and there. This would not put me off staying here again, the hotel is overall beautiful and Portocolom is so peaceful thourghly enjoyed our stay. One thing I think needs improving is the bar area. Very big bar and reallly nice outdoor area but it looked a bit like a room not used much. It reminded me of a hall you could hire out for an event. I would definatley rate this hotel 4 stars and will be going back.

The hotel was spotless, with helpful staff and fab pools. Only 10 mins from Cala Marcelo beach and across the road from the stunning marina, location is perfect. Although Porto Colom was a little too quiet for us- the hotel staff were happy to organise taxis for us to travel to other towns. Great big thank you to the maids who made our room look beautiful every morning!

Lovely modern hotel beautiful location

Lovely modern hotel in Porto Colom with two lovely pool areas, one with fabulous views over the Port towards Old Colom..an area we have known for over 40 years. Friendly efficient staff, comfortable spacious air conditioned bedrooms (we had side sea view). Restaurant and outside poolside seating area for meals with views. Easy walking distance of main marina front restaurants and those in nearby Cala Marsal as well as Cala Marsal beach. Porto Colom is a quiet working port with limited entertainment but the hotel did provide BBQ nights, a White Night and some evening entertainment. The upper pool bar served lunchtime snacks and drinks but you did pay a little more for the convenience. Would recommend this hotel for location, pools and comfort. Excellent buffet breakfast choices.

But!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After 2nd cleaning in the room I havent found my new M.A.C. cosmetics. I didnt use it and it was in box...
We have told about this situation in reseption but we have not received any feed back

And what do you think happend after this????

On the next day my new Clinique cosmetics was stolen and the box of my watch was already opened!!!!!!!!! And they was in my luggage !!!!!!!!!!!!
We have spoken with 3 different girls in reseption and they all just said \"yeeh,its not normal. we will speak with our manager and we will solve the problem\"

But as in first time any feedback we havent received!!!
all this cosmetics was new and it was presents from my fiancé from NY....

Think twice when you will decide to book this hotel because the worsest thing that could be in hotel is a stealing staff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Second stay at this hotel and still as good as ever. The hotel and rooms are immaculate, the cleaning staff exceptionally helpful. They now offer a complimentary fridge although the safe is still chargeable. The breakfast offers a great selection including fruits, continental breakfast and made to order omelettes. The pool areas are lovely for relaxing with plenty of sun beds and a pool bar for snacks and drinks ( no real facilities for children). The village of Portocolom offers some excellent restaurants although a little pricey. One thing to note, prior to May there is only one bus every 2 hours which goes to Palma. All other services to the East Coast resorts only run during the Summer. A great place for a very quiet break in an authentic Spanish resort.

The worst hotel

We asked and paid for a sea view, we got a wall. We ask to be moved and they gave us a room with a view, but the air-conditioning did not work. The room was dirty with corroding switches and lights. It is the worst hotel/room we have ever stayed in.
The whole hotel is dis-jointed with different building, you had to queue for dinner and you could be placed next to someone smoking. There is not one thing that I could say was good about this hotel, even the lift door crashed into you when using the lift.
OLA Hotel and Hotel.com we will never use again.

Nice hotel close to marina

The hotel was lovely, really nice decor and the staff went out of their way to help us when they could and be welcoming. They greeted us at check in with a glass of champagne each while we waited for our room.
The hotel was 20 minutes walk from the main restaurants and the bigger supermarket/bars, but it was a really pleasant walk. The pool was gorgeous. The staff at the bar of the pool are great, the only qualm we had was that the food was not great at the poolside and the buffet food was also not great (we were half board).
There is an exclusive pool which you can pay 10 euros to use for the day, and it was nice and quieter than the other pool, but the system for ordering food and drinks there definitely needs to be improved. The waiter who was serving the sunbeds had to keep going to and from the main poolside to gather drinks and food which was across a road and through a difficult gate! It didn't feel like elite service because he was one man serving many and it just didn't seem like a very efficient system (We had better service at the main pool). But the large four poster sun loungers were worth the 10 euros and the hotel should really consider making a bar and kitchen available at the side of the elite pool (which is possible as this is where dinner is eaten!).
All in all we really enjoyed our stay.

Ola Vistama can't be faulted on value. Food is to a great standard for a holiday hotel. Location is relaxed with great views over the lagoon. Great base for seeingthe many east coast beaches if you have a car

Recommend for a pleasant stay

A lovely relaxing stay as always-this was our forth visit-adults only with 'elite'extras available.
Caring,friendly staff & pleasant dining outside breakfasts buffets with attractive dining levels within at night.
Noticed a little more budget-minded on the food quality & selections this time but still plenty to make up a nice meal & the super desserts deserve a mention.
We look forward to going back again next year

Nice Hotel in quiet resort

General areas of hotel lovely, our room was in need of refurbishment, you have to pay more for the best rooms. Food was excellent, couldn't fault it. Beach is a ten minute walk, harbour town twenty minute walk, bus stop outside hotel. Would stay at this hotel again.

Overall very relaxing. Hotel exeptionaly clean & quite. No TV channels at all. Room 406 north facing no sun on balcony at all. Elite club a must. Food was ok but not 4* not a great selection. The view for breakfast was beautiful & all the staff here are very friendly and efficient. Surrounding area dissapointing because it was to quite for us. For a short break was fine.

Nice hotel.if you are a couple

Stayed here 4th to 8th August with a friend. We knew it was an adult oniy hotel but we felt slightly uncomfortable by the canoodling in the pool and the loving couples! The hotel was spotless and the pool area lovely with plenty of sunbed availability and the split site (ie pool and restaurant over road ) didn't seem to matter. However we weren't impressed with the food and even though only stayed for 4 nights half board, ate out on last night. My main gripe with this hotel was the total lack of atmosphere. The bar was always empty and staff a bit cold. We seemed to be the only English there too and we just didnt feel welcome! Other really minor points - hairdryer was a waste of time and pool table balls different sizes !!

I would defintely recommend this hotel! I just came back from my holidays with my partner and we both loved it! Food was amazing, so much choice! The staff were amazing too, always super helpful. We felt so welcomed! :) The pool area is very nice, with the bar which meant we could eat & drinks while laying down in the sun! I can't express how happy we were! I can't wait to go back

A lovely Hotel, quiet and friendly

My wife and I, and our two daughters recently spent 11 nights here. There is nothing to fault, the Hotel is spotless, the rooms are comfortable, the food was great, and the staff are exceptional. We had rooms on the 6th floor overlooking the pool. Yes the buses turn up at all hours, but our door was closed with the air-con on, so they didn't trouble us. There are plenty of bars in the civic square, and overlooking the harbour in Porto Colom. Also don't miss a trip to the beach, a lovely cove to swim in and also lots of tourist shops and bars.
The only downside is the trip from the airport. We booked the shuttle and had to wait 45 mins before we left the airport, then spent two and a half hours dropping everyone else off. Same problem coming back, one and a half hours collecting everybody then another hours drive. Either take a taxi (expensive), or book a hire car !!

Safe, Clean Hotel in beautiful Porto Colom

A spotlessly clean hotel, in an urban street setting with views of the beautiful harbour of Porto Colom from some rooms only. The staff were for the most part polite and helpful especially so if you spoke German. Fabi in the restaurant was a gem as was Paco. I had a problem with my room and was moved with little fuss. English speakers are not really catered for, the buffet food is good but the cost of water and wine at the table is a little over priced (the hotel up the road The Cala Marsal provides water and a bottle of wine free with your meal). There is only two English speaking channels on TV. The beautiful beach at Cala Marsal is about 15 minutes walk away, the port area of Porto Colom is beautiful with some fantastic restaurants on the water front. The Hotel Vistamar is not a 4 star hotel by Irish Standards but it is in a beautiful relaxing safe and quite part of the world. The Hotel provided me with a 10% discount voucher for my next visit but unfortunately it is due to expire in March 2016. Would I go back to The Vistamar probably not as I find the Cala Marsal more convenient for the beach.

Perfect chill out base

Porto Colom and nearby Cala Marcal are the perfect location in Mallorca for a relaxing break and Vistamar hotel is the perfect base from which to enjoy the area. Slightly older clientele catered for in the entertainment area but don't that that put you off. Just don't expect it to be party central! Lovely friendly staff. The buffet dinner offers a fantastic selection of fresh, tasty food. Amazing they chefs do actually manage to vary the selection every evening. Spanish night was particularly amazing. Breakfast, by the pool and with a view of the harbour, offers an amazing selection of anything you'd wish to have for breakfast, particularly fresh fruit. For the fantastic bargain price we got we couldn't possibly have asked for better.

Restaurant staff and chefs were warm and helpful. Animator Lisa was outstanding, full of energy! However, the in-room safe had a daily fee, not fitting for a 4-star hotel. The mini fridge was non-functional, meant for a minibar that wasn’t stocked or offered, making it merely decorative for photos. The blonde receptionist with glasses was a bit rude. Breakfast had only pork salami and sausage despite requests for alternatives.

Aufenthalt im Zimmer war gut und auch sauber,
Verpflegung in Halbpension ist nicht zu empfehlen, da man die Kellner selbst rufen muss um etwas zu trinken bekommen und sie nicht von selbst zum Anfang des Essens kommen,
Die Umgebung ist ruhig aber trotzdem schön auch mit dem Blick auf das Wasser und den Hafen,
Vom Hotel konnte man perfekt die umliegenden Städte mit dem Auto erreichen.

Das Hotel ist sehr hellhörig. Man hört die Nachbarn nachts. Beim einchecken sind uns fremde Haare auf dem Bett und in der Dusche aufgefallen. Trotz Zimmerservice war der Boden teilweise sandig und die Mülleimer nicht geleert, Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Super ist, dass die Rezeption 24h geöffnet ist. Die Zimmer sind schön aber leider haben wir in unserer Klimaanlage Schimmel entdeckt. Außerdem hat das Zimmer stark nach Rauch gerochen.

Segundo año consecutivo que venimos al hotel porque nos encanta la ubicacion, el personal y las instalaciones pero nos vamos algo decepcionados. La primera vez que vinimos solo no pareció incorrecto el buffet, escaso y sobre todo poca variedad, pero teniamos la esperanza que lo hubieran solucionado y mas viendo que la mayoria que de quejas iban dirigidas al mismo problema, pues para nuestro pesar este año el buffet era peor, la escaces persistía y la poca se convirtió en casi nula variedad. Es una pena ya que nos encanta la isla y si por nosotros fuera volveriamos pero probaremos otros alojamientos. Pd, Si algun dirigente del hotel me lee le ruego cuiden su personal, es su mayor tesoro, en especial las chicas del buffet, siempre pendiente de todo y de agradar a todos a pesar del problema.

Die Unterkunft war schön. sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich. Beim Frühstück hatte es etwas sehr viel Leute, sodass wir einen Moment warten musstenbis wir uns setzen konnten. Das einzige was ich in einem Hotel dieser Kategorie vermisst habe war, ein Bademantel und Hausschuhe. Ansonsten top und weiter zu empfehlen.

Hotel Gebäude von außen sehr schön und sieht aus wie ein **** Hotel. Die Zimmern alles kaputt müffelt. Klimaanlage voll laut kann nichts nachts schlafen von den Geräusche. Frühstücken war ok. Abendessen geht überhaupt nicht.

Wenn man abends etwas trinken wollte in der Hotelbar, musste man darauf hoffen, dass die Hotelbar auf hat. Geregelte Zeiten etc. waren dort leider Fehlanzeige.
Ansonsten sind die 3 Pools hervorragend, insbesondere der Pool neben dem Restaurant mit Blick auf den Hafen.

Bastante decepcionante a la llegada. Te cobran 200€ como fianza y no te los devuelven hasta que pasa 1mes.Hay dos tipos de habitaciones y en las fotos solo aparecen las renovadas y además te venden habitacion con vistas al mar y cuando llegas te dicen que solo tienen habitaciones con vistas laterales al mar (deberian expecipicar en la web), y por no hablar de insonorización, literalmente escuchas las conversaciones de los del al lado. Lo bueno es que el aire enfria bastante,todo hay que decirlo. En general lo consideraria como un 3 estrellas normalito,en comparación de otros muchos hoteles que e visitado.

L'emplacement est plutôt bien, a mi chemin entre la plage et la ville (environ 15 min chacun).
Les chambres sont grandes et propres. Les salles de bain sont un peu vétustes. Literie moyenne. Les équipements telles que les piscines sont très bien.

Bon hôtel en général. Le seul petit bémol c'est qu'il est loin de Palma ( 1 heure en voiture et 1h30 en bus, les horaires de bus sont rares). On a du louer un véhicule pour visiter palma.

Das Frühstück war super das Abendessen hat auch gepasst.
Der Pool war angenehm zum abkühlen, mit den Liegestühlen die nicht besetzt waren, es hatte immer genügend frei.
Parkplatz für das Auto war auf der Strasse genügend vorhanden.
Das Zimmer wurde täglich gereinigt, alle 2 Tage die Frottee- und Bettwäsche gewechselt.

Nice hotel with with decent outdoor pools in a quiet little town. Breakfast was really good and the staff was friendly and helpful. Good stay if you enjoy peaceful and less tourist-crowded locations.

Only downside in the hotel was its WiFi, which seemed to work quite randomly and was very slow. Just checking a bus schedule or finding some trivial information often turned into a frustrating mission.

Also, just as a quick note about Portocolom: If your flight arrives late (and you don't have an arranged transport), you will have to take a taxi from the airport to Portocolom, as the last bus (490) departs at 19:30. Some later 490 buses have their terminus at Felanitx, which is completely dormant city in the late evening, and finding a taxi from there to Portocolom (or getting one by calling) proved to be next to impossible.

Venligt personale
Værelset lignede noget fra 60’erne, det levede ikke op til det vi forventede. Vi var meget skuffede også over morgenmadsbuffeten.
Det er ikke et 4 stjernet hotel - væggene var papir tynde så vi kunne hele tiden hører naboerne og alt på gangen

Die Vergabe von 4 Sterne ist hier nicht mehr gerechtfertigt diese Unterkunft bedarf eine gründliche Erneuerung das Personal ist nicht auf den Gast eingestellt Tische beim Frühstück musste man selbst eindecken die Rezeption versteckt sich hinter Computer Bildschirme guten Morgen oder guten Tag sind hier Fremdwörter egal in welcher Sprache das einzig positive war der tägliche Ausblick und die Putzfrau einfach Mal einen Hoteltest durchführen und dann neu bewerten also für mich nie wieder

Das Hotel und die Zimmer sind sehr sauber! Das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Sicht auf den Hafen ist fantastisch. Frühstück ist gut und man hat sehr viel Auswahl. Lediglich der Kaffee könnte besser sein.

Das Frühstück Buffet hat für jeden was dabei, leider sind die Brötchen nicht frisch und die Früchte wurden wahrscheinlich importiert
Der Wasserdruck der Dusche lässt zu wünschen übrig
Ab 23:00 ist es sehr ruhig im Hotel dafür kommen die ersten Frühaufsteher um 05:30

Gut gelegenes Hotel mit vielen Schwächen

Das Hotel liegt unübersehbar in Portocolom und ist von der Lage her eigentlich ganz gut. Generell macht das Hotel von außen einen guten Eindruck. Auch das Foyer ist gut, die Mitarbeiter nett und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind sauber und das Bad wirklich gut. Nicht gut waren die sehr harten Betten, die tropfende Klimaanlage die immer einen kleinen See vor der Tür fabriziert hat und die extreme Hellhörigkeit der Zimmer, was mich persönlich am meisten gestört hatte. Positiv zu erwähnen ist noch das Frühstück und der Pool.

Balkon mit einem kleinen bisschen Meerblick an einem Standort wo nicht viel los ist. Aircon ist einen kompletten Abend plus die ganze Nacht ausgefallen. Handtücher wurden nicht erneuert - lagen in der Badewanne, d.h. Badewanne wurde auch nicht geputzt.

Veraltetes vier-Sterne Hotel

Mein Freund und ich haben sechs Tage in diesem Hotel verbracht. Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt ganz gut, das Personal war sehr nett.

Die Ausstattung: das Hotel ist veraltet und heute würde es wohl keine vier Sterne mehr bekommen. Das „Doppelbett“ im Zimmer waren tatsächlich zwei Zustellbetten, die zusammen geschoben wurden. Die Matratzen darauf waren sehr hart (was für mich und meinen Freund kein Problem war, aber für andere Leute wäre es dies mit Sicherheit). Das Bad war provisorisch renoviert. Allerdings gab es in der Dusche am Boden schwarze Ränder... was auch immer das war. Die Möbel waren alle etwas altmodisch, aber es war nichts defekt. Lediglich in der Dusche, das Teil, welches den Duschkopf hält, war defekt, aber das hat nicht gestört. Insgesamt war alles sehr sauber. Die Handtücher werden allerdings nur alle drei Tage gewechselt. Dies ist verbesserungswürdig.
Das Frühstück: wir hatten nur Frühstück dazu gebucht. Die Auswahl war sehr reichhaltig und es war für jeden etwas dabei. Einziges Manko: das Frühstück findet in einem anderen Gebäude statt.
Die Lage: prinzipiell hat das Hotel eine gute Lage, direkt am Meer. Allerdings ist es auf drei Gebäudekomplexe in drei Straßen verteilt und so etwas unübersichtlich. Wir wussten zuerst nicht, wo der Haupteingang zu finden war, da Google Maps nur das Gebäude anzeigt, in dem das Frühstück stattfindet. Dort war auch der sogenannte VIP Pool.
Alles in allem ist das Hotel in Ordnung, allerdings Eher 3 als 4 Sterne.
