This is a beautiful resort! Staff is so friendly and helpful. They really make your stay exceptional!
We have been there many times but not in the last 14 years. I would say that the grounds are not kept up as well as in the past, but still very beautiful. Rooms were clean, except for the floor walking around very little without shoes, feet were black. Otherwise very clean. Food is wonderful, service is exceptional. The gym is great! The pool is really the star! If you want to feel spoiled you won’t be disappointed.

Very dated rooms. Upgrades would enable staff to clean more effectively. Not to the level of resorts in its category. The grounds are beautiful and well kept, but the rooms have not been.
The food was excellent. The buffet was just a buffet, but that's not my preferred choice of food. Well, the other on the property was wonderful. Pool bartenders were awesome.

The staff at Peublo Bonito Emerald Bay was top notch. Everyone was very friendly and courteous. Will say the time share folks who occupy a table in the lobby are overly aggressive when you initially check in so could have done without that. Other than that amazing atmosphere, incredibly delicious food and great drinks! Rooms were very clean and beds comfortable. Love the golf carts throughout to assist with getting around. We have an absolutely fantastic time and would highly recommend!

The facilities are very good and clean. What has changed since my last visit is the variety and quality of the food; this may be due to the economy or the lack of tourism.
The system is \"all-inclusive,\" including services and taxes.
The staff has a way of ambushing guests to collect more money for services already paid for. If the credits are not used, they remain unrefunded because the employees cover for each other, and the credit is never returned.

We had a great stay. The property is beautiful and our suite was lovely. We had just a couple of minor complaints.There is no hair conditioner provided, and none available, apparently. Our shower didn't drain well, and we were standing in ankle deep water during showers. Some of the food in the Bistro was bad (chicken shawarma sandwich and tortilla soup). Also, I left a shirt behind in the room, and felt that not enough was done by the staff to help locate it when I called.

I liked the place, was a bit dated. Beach access was weird and not really a beach in front. Pool was awesome, food was good in the 2 restaurants aside from the buffet. Staff was mostly good. One guy Rodrigo at the front desk was super helpful when my wife lost her AirPods, he not only found them but had them delivered to another friend from our city in Mazatlan. He was awesome!

The friendliness of the staff, trying at all times to accommodate and extend themselves for their guests is why I gave a rating of 4 star (staff alone would be 5 star). The pools at the resort were very nice also. I found my room to be less than appealing. It reeked of disinfectant and an underlying musty, moldy smell. It was stark and bare. The ocean view was very nice though.

La calidad en general bajó mucho, los licores que incluían en el todo incluido antes eran de mejor calidad y había más variedad. El buffet terrible, 1 sola opción de guisado a parte del huevo, pocas opciones de proteína, la piña jamás estuvo fresca. En general aunque sigue habiendo buenas opciones en el menú la calidad y sabor de los alimentos bajo. En general la atención en emerald bay terrible, se noto la preferencia a los extranjeros, lo cual no pasó los días que fuimos de visita a PB Mazatlán, excelente atención ahí, el único lugar rescatable el sushi. Pedimos resurtido de aguas en el cuarto y jamás lo hicieron lo cual es ridículo porque igual podíamos pedir las botellas en el bar, pero a veces se necesitaba en la noche un extra. Extrañamos los rollitos primavera del bistro, eran muy superiores a los del sushi, de haber tenido incluso batas en la habitación a que no cambien las toallas cuando se dejaban en el suelo, las volvían a dejar húmedas dobladas

I have stayed here several times and really enjoy the beautiful grounds and wonderful service. I especially enjoyed the food at the Bistro restaurant and Cilantros at the resort in town. The people who work at the hotel go out of their way to give you a pleasant experience. The rooms could use a refresh though. The tile and grout are quite worn especially in the bathrooms. I had a ceiling leak while I was there and they did fix it. It would be nice if they could update this hotel like they did with Pueblo Bonito Mazatlan. Both hotels are nice but I prefer the quieter vibe at Emerald Bay.

We have been coming here for many years, and while not as good as it once was (nothing is it seems, post COVID) we still very much enjoyed our stay. Check-in was seamless and we got a great room (Thank you desk staff Ismael and Fernano). Property is beautiful and mostly well maintained, staff are generally very friendly and helpful. The pool staff (shoutout to Julio!) are readily available and keep your drinks full and food coming. That said, the All inclusive is expensive for the quality of food available. Mind you we haven’t been anywhere else of late, so our perceptions may be way off. Also, it looks like a major storm decimated the beach in the last year and it is inaccessible. Not the resorts fault, but it was certainly a surprise. We will be back next year but will likely look at different options in the future.

Actually, the floor in my room never seemed to get clean along with the bottom of the toilet, having urine stains from before we got there. Even with that being said, the staff was so overly helpful and friendly, and kept everything outside so incredibly maintained and me and my family so well served that I am absolutely coming back to Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay! The servers and the bartenders were incredible even above the rest of the staff! The beds were very comfortable and besides having to brush my feet off every time I got in bed the room was beautiful! Incredible views with every step. I pushed my mother all around the resort every day because we enjoyed the walk but every 15 or 20 feet another cart would stop to make sure we did not need a ride. Everyone wanted to be so helpful!

We had two reservations our first reservation. They were going to give us an upgrade but we chose to stay in a Junior suite so we wouldn’t have to move. Also, Fernando at the front desk worked very hard so that my mom and sister would be able to be in the same building with us since they were arriving a couple days later. He went above and beyond and I feel that Pueblo Bonito did an outstanding job making us feel like we were valued. This is our seventh year here and we will continue to come back as long as we are welcome.

The property is nice as you drive up. They have lengthy lines and could do a better job at offering water while you wait. The room wasn’t ready timely, you need a golf cart to transport you to different areas and that can take some time (10min) in the heat it was not fun. The pools were nice and the property was big and beautifully decorated. Very family oriented. The room was ok overall stay was average on a lovely property.

Pueblo bonito has changed a lot! Room are run down, check in was a long wait! All inclusive very limited. Restaurant have very little options. Rooms had no power outlets to charge phones. No night activities, only positive thing is all the staff is super friendly and will go above and beyond for you. Will probably not return to Pueblo bonito.

I’ll admit I’m a bit biased as someone who spent many summers in Mazatlán, this place holds a special spot in my heart. On this trip, my family and I decided to embrace the experience as tourists, and we were so impressed by the hospitality we received.

Omar and his colleague (I wish I could remember his name!) at the night buffet were truly outstanding. Both were incredibly hardworking, kind, and attentive. They served us for four nights and made us feel right at home each evening. One night, they even surprised us with a specialty pizza for our table the moment they saw us arrive such a thoughtful gesture!

Their warm hospitality left a lasting impression, and by the end of our stay, we made sure to find them and say goodbye. We’ll definitely be coming back next year!

We couldnt believe that upon arrival our room was upgraded from a Junior Suite to that of a Master Suite! We were very appreciative of how they fullfilled our requests of being on the ground level and close to both Swimming pools because of my knee issues! My wife and I were very impressed by the personal attention we were given by entire staff but especially by Antonio(Dinner Service) and Ariel(Breakfast Service) at the Buffet. I mentioned that i loved Spicy Salsa with my meals and they both went into the Kitchen and Blended me some Habanero Salsa..this is just an example of the kindness that they displayed towards us throughout our stay. We were able to really enjoy our Vacation because of the staff! We definitely recommend Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay to all who are considering to go! Cant wait to go back!!

La experiencia fue buena como siempre, sin embargo, la habitación requiere mejoras como el aire acondicionado, genera mucho ruido, los elevadores lentos. Y el buffet tuvo cambios significativos a diferencia de antes de pandemia. El bar de área de adultos comienza a cerrar desde las 5pm en lugar de 6. Liked the food. Liked the trees. Didn't like lack of entertainment especially at night. Latest you could get a drink was suppose to be 10. But they actually closed restaurant/bar at 9:15 and they were not happy how I wasn't happy about that. Hated wait staff most indifferent wait staff I have ever experienced in Mexico. I've been to Mexico about 50 times. $10 usd tip for food for 2 and couldn't even get a smile or thank you from staff. I'm guessing resort had something to do with that as they asked you to tip as you signed for all drinks and food and charge to room: even if you had the all inclusive. And if you wanted to tip directly they asked you put it in envelope and give to front desk after stay. We just tipped directly like most all inclusive resorts. But like I said didn't seem appreciated at all. They have a very nice gym and spa. No nightly entertainment. This resort my opinion is made for people in their 70's.

First time visitors to this resort. After booking then reading reviews, I was a little worried about the experience to come. I will tell you, It takes a little bit of listening and time to review all of the paperwork provided at check in. If you take the time to do that, you will be fine. Many people choose not to buy all inclusive. If you are all inclusive, you just need to realize there are some items that are not included and you need to prepare for that. On site restaurants are included. I saw many comments about the sushi, but we ate their twice and had absolutely no problems.The food was delicious and the service was great. We also ate at the buffet which I liked but didn't love. Good was just ok. Eating at the Bistro was our favorite on site. I would highly recommend going to Casa46.This is one of those things that has a slight upcharge, but is absolutely a wonderful experience that you should take.

The property was excellent. The only bad experience was our room smell like urine. The patio smelled really bad. We could not use the patio in the week that we were there. Also, the smell carried into the beginning of the room by the sliding door. Also, we had another issue with Expedia when my wife added two children and two adults and when we got to the hotel, someone made an error Expedia I believe and said that we had 21 year-old babies and our children ages 16 and 17 anyway we were charged $500 extra upon arrival about the room we notified the staff at the hotel that there was a foul odor. We were there for five days after the fourth day they decided they wanted to give us a different upgrade to our room which made no difference because we were there already for days other than that, we had a great time with the staff in the pool, especially the staff at the restaurants Martin, Fernando, jiho and others did such a great job. We definitely will return to this hotel but in the future, I will check out the room before I stay in it.

Staff were good, food at buffet was average. Asian food at Kelly's was very good as was Angelo's at sister property. Bistro food was quite good as was food around pool especially fish tacos. Drinks around pool were as normal at all inclusive, weak but not bad. Beach was rocky so not safe for body surfing although better a little further south. Wives spotted 6 ft crocodile on beach so maybe rocks are least of hazards! Decent gym as well. Little far from town but that kept teenagers from wandering off property so probably a plus for our group.

Excellent staff; friendly and always very helpful. We are seriously thinking of returning next year for a week in both EB and Mazatlan.
Also the connections you had with us via e-mail prior to our arrival was terrific and appreciated. Good job from everyone.

Beautiful property right on the ocean! The pools are lovely and the people are so kind and helpful. The property is lush with greenery everywhere. Spa was wonderful! The fruit basket and free bottled water were such a wonderful touch! Thank you for the gift! A !

Beautiful garden-like grounds and pool, very large (3 pool areas, one of them adults only). Right on the water. Amazing views. Much bigger than many of the other hotels. The rooms are suites and quite large, good for families. The food is good, not great. It was just the two of us and we missed having a more quiet, fancier restaurant. The beach is nice but quite rocky so maybe not good for little kids, the pools are a better option and there are plenty of them. Emerald Bay is pretty far out of town so shuttle or taxi is necessary to get to other activities or restaurants. Finally, beware the \"welcome\" breakfast - it's a time share sales. After that, they leave you alone and it's a nice place!

This is a very low key resort…not a lot going on, but you can easily take the shuttle to the other resort and then have access to the city.

Overall, It’s a nice, the food is good, pool is great and it has plenty of grounds to get in a good walk.

One catch for me was that I have Celiac Disease, so I couldn’t eat most of the food or really any dessert. So, that was a bummer. My husband loved the food, my parents come here every year…but if you have a food allergy like me, you may want to look into a place that caters more to that. Still a great place and enjoyed my stay, but should have researched the food portion for myself beforehand.
