My cousin had her wedding here and i was terrified staying here bc of the reviews as im pretty picky and usually travel with my own sheets! So the wedding was the most beautiful wedding ever. Our room was in the main building it was huge, clean and beautiful view. Full kitchen 2 full baths, bedroom was a good size. Bed were hard but surprisingly comfortable. Only bad thing is train tracks are right next to the hotel and almost every morning at 6am it would wake us up. The hotel was dead no people except my family and i. About 30 of us. Everyone raved about their room expect one family that stayed in the villas by pool area. Those seem out dated and old so main building is the way to go. Bar was not open ever. Restaurants food was not bad but horrible service tooook forever to get our drink order, food, check even though it wasnt busy at all. Little store remains locked so when u want to go in to buy something u have to ask front desk to open it. Pool was cold but kids had a blast. House keepers where great and getting transportation was easy! I would stay again but they definitely need to work on the customer service and restaurant situation. Dont know how they stay in business with no people there. They would have made great money had the bar been open for my family that loved to drink.

A nice quiet resort on a semi-secluded beach, with the exception of a party going on at a nearby resirt. Fortunately the loud music ended by midnight.
The rooms were very comfortable however the ceiling fan didn't work in one (room 108) ans the a/c wasn't working in another room we were using (room 106).
The pool was clean, although the temperature was a little cool, but you adjusted after a few seconds in the water.
The lounge chairs by the pool were hit or miss, and at least one broke while one of us was sitting in it. There was a limited number of chairs available, however, as there weren't too many guests, this wasn't an issue.
All in all, a nice stay and we will probably go there again in the future.

Nice property for the discounted price we got but other than a bed the hotel had little to nothing to offer. Pool seemed to be losing water, it was about 12-15 inches below what was the water level at one point. No food or drink available or allowed at the pool. No WIFI accept in the lobby. Literally about 100 ft from the train tracks so plan to get up early. Not sure if it was lack of customers but them seemed to be struggling in many areas, I wish them luck

The place looks amazing on the outside but on the inside it needs some TLC. The staff was great. When speaking to the staff they said management has avoided putting more money in the up keep. I was talking to a tourist from another hotel and said he had a timeshare at at Diamond Bay but was ran out of the contract. He said it was the best thing ever as he noticed it looking old back then and wondered if they did any renovations.
Like I said, staff is great! Just wish management would do better up keeping of the interior of the hotel.

The property is located next to a train that runs early morning and in the middle of the night so we did not had one good night sleep.

Is nice and beautiful for a wedding or if you want to be in a quiet place with no noise. NO wifi in rooms at all a very bad drawback only in lobby, the restaurant in the hotel we couldn’t go because the day that we decided to try was closed because it doesn’t open on Tuesday of course they completely forgot to mention this small detail. One more thing that maybe is new but we couldn’t check out before they checked the room, for my mind I didn’t understand why.

We picked this proper because of its proximity to the north freeway acess. It's also on the beach. The rates were very reasonable. We were only there 1 night. Very quiet, friendly staff. Met our needs for our one night. Will stay again.

The only downside was the restaurant, the food is not that good. Everything taste like it came from a frozen food package from Costco. Also lacks bar service at the pool. Every time we wanted to order drinks or snacks we needed to get out of the pool and go inside the restaurant.

I liked the infinity pool. The property is nice, in front of the beach. Nonetheless, the rooms are not properly sealed. It is hard to have a restful sleep, when you can hear everything that happens outside or even the rooms next to you.

The facility is nice but a few things need to be updated: the trash can lid was broken and it was super rusty; the sidling door was tricky to open and lock; there is only Wi-Fi available is common areas but not inside the rooms; staff was showing the room next to mine and they opened the connecting door without verifying first if the room was occupied.

The first impresion we had was that they had given us the wrong room. Later on we found out that everything was badly set. We had to request for everything that was included on our prior rentals along our journey. If you are staying with this company, be prepared to have some unpleasant issues at your arrival. Power outlets coming off the walls, door knobs malfuctioning, employers walking into your room not wearing facemasks, no coffee machine availability, unheated pool, incomplete silverware and china sets, no kitchen supplies, etc.

As snowbirds rushing to get home uninfected, with small detour from our planned route, it was very good. For whatever reasons, there were very few guests, which suited our desire to self-isolate perfectly.
Almost done with their big renovation, the room still needed to renew some of its furniture. No English TV channels, and we were desperate for news. Poor internet too, but the view and restaurant were good. well away from the city.

I liked the location of the unit, but it was in terrible conditions, the staff was friendly but the place was very poorly cleaned. I dont understand why it has such a good rating, maybe it used to be good, but now its like a 2 or 3 star on my humble opinion. I payed two nights and just used one because it wasn't worth the stay. I think thats a pretty clear idea on this present time with this hotel.

El hotel en general es muy comodo y su personal muy atento, la alberca junto al mar es hermosa pues puedes ver los aterdeceres desde ahi y sin salir del hotel, en la playa es uno de los lugares poco concurridos por lo que es muy tranquila, y sobre todo: YA NO ESTAN LOS QUE VENDEN PAQUETES VACACIONALES FRAUDULENTOS, y esto es algo que se les agradece mucho Por lo que pueden ir con toda la confiaza del mundo.

En la alberca el agua limpia y en buenas condiciones y grande, un lugar tranquilo sin tanto ruido para relajarse, buenisimas puestas de sol. En general solo le falta un poco de mantenimiento y si no llevas auto está muy lejos de la zona turística.
