There was 1 person at the check in who kept getting interrupted with phone calls so the check in took about 30 min. Then when we went to the room, we discovered that the toilet was dirty (feces and cigarettes). We had to notify twice the reception to get it cleaned.

Absolutely the worst hotel I have ever stayed at! Met with a horrible smell in lobby and an even worse smell in the room. Really bad sewer smell from bathroom that never went away during the stay. Bathroom door had to be closed all the time. Horribly dirty and stained rugs on floor, gaps behind everything in bathroom, no power on tv or any outlet when we came, janitor fixed that relatively quickly after we had to go to reception and let them know. No room to sit on toilet because sink hit you on the side unless you are like 4 years old. "International" hotel right next to major airport hub, still only french language tv channels. Not even CNN or anything.And don't even get me started on the shuttle scam... used to be free and run all the time, now you have to prebook and pay 7! Euro per person. Me and my son just took uber instead wich was 12.95.... I have been in area many times for Xerox training and every time we stayed at the Pentahotel across the street. Deeply regret not spending the extra euros to stay there this time as well as that is heaven compared to this dump. I could go on and on, but if you read this and still stay there voluntarily, you did it too yourself.... DO NOT STAY HERE!

Carpet is dirty. Smells weired. Only hand soap in bathroom. Breakfast room they need to slice banana bread instead of leaving full loaf there. Some people touch whole loaf with hand and slice. Breakfast choice were good.Over all okay to stay over night for one or two night.

This is a very old hotel. It only offers the basics. A bed and shower. The rooms are VERY clean. The bed was VERY comfortable. The shower/water was great. I only stayed here because I missed my connection and scrambled to find a room as hotels were filling up and I did not want to spend $800 at the airport Sheraton. Worked for a sleep and go the next day.
Nite, the room had a coffee maker and in the bathroom a hair/body liquid soap dispenser by the sink and in the shower.

Very disappointed with this facility. It looked great from outside but the bedroom had a blocked sink, leaking shower and non working hair dryer. I have reported these issues to the service/ reception staff after first day’s stay and although they have promised to rectify these issues but nothing has been done even the next day. Me and my family had a difficult stay in this hotel sadly.

Quick stay for a layover. The hotel was close and early to access. Overall it was like a motel, very old and just felt dirty. The biggest issues is we had no air conditioning and it was extremely muggy in the room.

I don't recommend this hotel. Unfortunately they didn't have the room available that we booked in advance and ended up paying for taxes for a second room since they didn't have one for the family of 4. The shuttle bus that goes to the airport is 6 euros per person and extra for luggage, total of 42 euros and it supposed to be free according to expedia, but the worst part of the ride is that they don't dropped you off after terminal E, so if you have connection flight in other terminals you have to en up paying taxi within airport terminals limit. You better pay taxi for 30 euros. The carpert floors are so dirty outdated buildings and you get 2 pillows for a king size bed and very small rooms.

The property is good, the location is pretty, the room was big. The reason for 3 stars is the staff. I decided to pay extra to stay longer in the suit and specifically asked the lady at the reception if the cleaning staff will be aware so they wouldn’t knock and bother me. She immediately answered that she will, of course, let them know about the changes of my checkout time. Well, the cleaning staff bothered me twice in two extra hours I paid for. Despite me even saying to the cleaning lady herself that I will checkout at the new time, she opened the door while I was still in the suit one hour before the new checkout time. She didn’t knock, she opened the door saying “maintenance” or something like that. She then knocked again, thirty minutes prior the checkout time, when I opened the door she told me she came to clean. Also, a different cleaning lady kept knocking at the door two hours before the original checkout time. There weren’t any door pamphlets saying “do not disturb” in my suit, but as I was leaving I saw one door having it on the doorknob (I wonder where my pamphlet was). There was also a pamphlet on some doors saying something like “please clean”, so I don’t understand why the cleaning staff was so eager to clean my room, the one without any “clean” pamphlets on it. I also want to mention that the people at the reception could be more welcoming considering the fact they work in a hospitality field. The suit also didn’t have a refrigerator.

Instruction received to the the transit was wrong quai B3 instead of E2
Carpet is dirty , limited shower supplies, even your water you have to buy it , they just have a fountain at the main floor

The staff were great, and the common spaces were nice, but my room (though tidy) was also filthy. I've never stayed in a hotel room with carpet floors so dirty that I wanted to keep my shoes on the entire time. They advertise a hotel shuttle, but it's not included and costs extra. I was thoroughly disappointed overall.

The hotel was what I expected for the price.The front desk staff were great, though I had to wait 25 minutes to check in given the line. The common areas had a very friendly, welcoming vibe. They had a large dining area with a dinner buffet still available when I arrived around 10:30 PM and a breakfast buffet out early this morning when I left at 6:15 AM. Both cost extra. (The breakfast was 15 euros.) Unfortunately, the hallways and rooms were shabby. While the linens and bathroom were clean, the rug in the room was filthy and stained. Ask about the airport shuttle. I reserved it in advance for 7 euros. It was convenient and came promptly. I could have taken a public bus with the stop just across the street, but it wouId have taken about 15 - 20 minutes. The hotel was serviceable and convenient for an inexpensive airport stay over.

This is a good enough hotel for 1 night at the airport. The shuttle only goes in morning and evening for a few hours and it is not free.
The halls, elevators and rooms have an unpleasant odour.

Surprised by the wonderful buffet in the restaurant. Great patio space outdoors, and nice bar area.

Very noisy, I specifically asked for a quiet room and got there early in the day. It would have been nice to be at the back of the hotel, not next to the entry where I was woken by cars driving in and out.

Wish the hairdryer had worked.

This hotel is very disappointing for a Campanile brand hotel. First there is NO shuttle to the airport, there is a city BUS in front of the hotel which is absolutely not the same, advertising Airport Shuttle is misleading. Second, the A/C was broken during the heat wave and sleeping with the window open is not realistic given how to close to the airport the hotel is.
Finally "next generation room" is misleading as well: carpet is dirty, Wifi was slow and almost inexistant and nothing was next generation about this room.
Avoid this hotel at all COSTS, there is better alternatives nearby. I will avoid the whole Campanile brand in the future due to this experience.

We’ve been using Campanile for years and have been very pleased with everything, but this time we were disappointed because the floor in our room was in a very bad state. It was badly stained and very worn, which made it look unclean.
The restaurant was not as good as before; it also needed better hygiene.

On arrival we were given a room that was already occupied.
We were quickly given another room but the air con didn't work and we had no "premium channels"
That aside the evening meal and breakfast were excellent. Hotel seems to be suffering from the months of misuse and is sorely in need of upgrade and tlc. Great position for CDG airport.

The Sweet Spot

We always stay here when flying out of CDG the next day since this hotel has the right combination of price, comfort and convenience. It's always clean, check-in/out is easy, and the breakfast (this last time included) was surprisingly good.

Nothing particular to recommend this hotel. Check-in took about 20 minutes, room was quite small and basic, bathroom very basic with towels like sandpaper. Restaurant poor - had to clear own table in order to take second course and wine forgotten and staff had to be reminded of the order

The room was acceptable for one night prior to an early morning flight. It had 2 twin size beds (there were 2 of us) . It was very tight to maneuver around the beds, stowing 1 large suitcase & 2 carryons. I hadn’t read any room dimensions prior to booking & was somewhat surprised how small it was. It sufficed the 1 night stay but if needed for a longer time I would have had to try to upgrade as it was claustrophobic to me. Cleanliness as seen from my weary eyes was close to excellent...1 small bit in a corner of the bedroom & 1 small corner in bathroom on floor needed a better swipe over with dusting/mop. Didn’t have time to use the coffee/tea set up but it looked very clean. I’m a light sleeper & slept decently without noise problems from outside the room. All in all, for the money, it was very near excellent accommodations & friendly, helpful staff.

I like that this hotel has a restaurant. I travel alone and it is a nice amenity. Some have complained that the carpets in the rooms are worn and I would agree. However, they are not dirty. Linens are changed daily - not just made up. This hotel is typical of a European lower cost hotel and I think Americans always expect more than what is standard in U.S. (such as larger rooms, take away toiletries, face cloths and an over abundance of towels). The room I had might be a bit small for 2 people but I was traveling for business and did not spend much time in there anyway. This was my second stay and I would not hesitate to go there again.

€5 20-minute shuttle ride from the airport to the hotel (because it has multiple stops first) The guy in the front desk was great. The room was so-so. It's tinier than in the photos. There was a weird smell at first but aired it out so it's fine. The biggest issue for me was the AC was cranked down to the lowest setting but it was still a little hot in my room so I had to open the window every few hours, thank God it's cool outside already, what about in the summer? The bed was not the comfiest but you get what you pay for really, it's not bad for 1-2 nights. I wouldn't say I'd stay here again but i wouldn't mind if I really had to..

P.S. A cleaning lady/man opened the door without knocking first (even though my Do Not Disturb sign was hanging outside the door) but since I was playing music loudly, they knew I was inside and they closed the door immediately. I wish the staffs were respectful enough for those DND signs or at least knock loudly. What if someone was naked when they come in? That's not cool at all.

The A/C was not working throughout the entire hotel, and all that could be given as compensation was a dusty fan to place in our room. The washroom smelled like urine upon arrival, and the smell remained throughout our stay. There was no cushion to sit on, on the couch, just a flat dirty surface. Would not recommend to anyone. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience.

Horrible old accommodation with rude staff.
Rooms are disgustingly dirty and falling to pieces.
The reception staff are unfriendly, and Rip people off.

Charged us 17€ for 12 hours of parking. Someone checked out the same time as us. They complained about the parking price and we're giving theirs for free.

Stay clear of this hotel. Plenty of better ones in the same area.
