We arrived in Milan by plane with two days to wander and get over jet lag. Palazzo Cornalia was well located near the train station is a comfortable safe neighborhood. We found it to be very well decorated and clean. Very friendly staff was helpful. Highly recommended.

We stayed in a loft suite. Room was very large with a walk in closet and separate living room (someone could sleep on the couch in there if they wanted). We found it very walkable but we like to walk.(10 min or less to Milano centrale, 26 to duomo)
Of course a few touch ups to room imperfections could be done, but we found it better than our expectations after reading some reviews. My friend stayed later in Milan and was tried to extend the room but it was sold out, so it passed her test too!

The hotel is amazing and the staff is excellent however do not stay here if you have a rental and a flight that is before 1000 am or after midnight. The hotel doesn't have its own parking lot and you must rely on paid parking next door that closes at midnight and doesn't reopen until 0800..we had to leave our rental car behind and I was forced to pay 150 Euros to take me to the airport plus another $400 to have the car rental company come and retrieve the vehicle. I've never stayed in a five star hotel that did not have its own on site 24 hour parking.

The property is in a narrow street within a more business area but within walking distance of 10 min or 15-20 min with luggage to Milano Centrale train station. It is also 5-7 min to the Metro station (Republica) with one stop to Milano Centrale. It is definitely does not feel and look like a 5-star property nor it offers such services to be one.
The gentleman working as the evening concierge/front desk was very indifferent and not helpful but the ladies at the front desk checking us in were very pleasant and good. Our room/suite on the top floor (4) was large but very dark due to poor lighting. The room needed some side tables by the couch and wing chair and some wall decoration as the walls were painted in dark colors and due to limited and dim lighting, the whole room was depressing. The bathroom was small but workable. Again, not enough lighting especially around the magnifying mirror. The room was also very hot (late October) and AC was shut down. We left the windows open but bathroom and the closet were quite hot.

Loved staying here. Room was cleaned on a daily basis. Bathroom smelled divine. Love it when a hotel offers good toiletries (aqua di Parma). Staff was always willing to help and providing options on where to eat, what attractions to go to etc. Would definitely stay again.

It’s a nice boutique hotel and only 10 minutes walk from the train station. It’s also situated in a nicer area of Milan with restaurants and shops about 15 mins walk away.
It doesn’t have a gym or pool however, so this was something I missed. Also hot meals with breakfast was limited to scrambled egg, although there was a cold buffet available. Seats for breakfast needs to be improved as more suitable for lounging.

Great location, few little touches required like no coffee cups in room although kettle and drinks provided, bathroom light bulb gone so difficult to do makeup, had to ask for salt and pepper and cup again at breakfast. Was given the wrong room and someone already in my room. All little things that could be improved.

The hotel was very modern, not my taste but comfortable. The breakfast had a very good selection of pastries and juices. one or 2 negatives is the music played in the Lobby was rap with explicit lyrics and that they should have a more prominent sign for the hotel. it took me and my husband 40 minutes to find it from the Gioia Station lots (Green Line) of construction going on but it is very near the train station. I recommend it especially for the it's close proximity to the metro

We appreciated the parking facility, the queen size beds, and the comfortable showers. We had a problem with a broken air conditioner in one of three rooms which was not resolved after promises that it would be taken care of. Staff was friendly and the breakfast buffet was small but had a good variety and quality of offerings.

I don't like giving negative reviews but in this case I was very disappointed by my stay at this hotel.
This hotel is rated as 5 stars but it is definitely not the case. It does not have the facilities and amenities to be rated as 5 star nor does it have the visibility of staff to be rated as 5 star.
Breakfast was like breakfast in a Holiday Inn Express. No option for additional items off a menu and they didn't have any herbal teas that were requested.
The room was very disappointing. The room looked great and was a big room but the issues listed below are not things you should expect from a 5 star hotel:
1. Towel rail coming off the wall
2. Sink tap in entrance area does not work
3. Only bin in the room is in the bathroom
4. Expedia description says all 29 rooms have deep soaking baths. My room didn't have a bath in it, only a shower!
5. Shower continues to run for 30 seconds after turning shower off
6.Air conditioning is not capable of cooling the room and is blocked by the curtains when pulled.
7. Sofa is designed to have cushions on it, but it had none so it's very uncomfortable to seat on.
If this hotel had been shown as a 3 - 4 star hotel and priced €70 less per night then all these issues probably would have been acceptable but it is sold as a 5 star hotel and priced as such. Would have been better for us to stay in the Hilton Hotel down the road at the same price.

We had cockroaches in our bathroom during 2 nights. When we told the staff they reacted inappropriately: didn’t look at us, didn’t apologize and didn’t offer a solution. They simply didn’t handle the situation professionally and not what you expect in a 5 star hotel. There were two deserts on our table when we came back in the evening which was too late to eat anyway. That was all… In general staff in the hotel doesn’t smile at all which creates a very serious and uncomfortable atmosphere. Overall, a disappointing experience.
