About 15 minutes prior to ending, they would stop replenishing some of the food items. The pool is outdoors on an upper floor and was closed (likely for the season?) while we were there.

For the price, I expected more from PLAZA Premium Almere. No toiletries, slippers, or robe provided, and only one bottle of water for the entire stay. Housekeeping was minimal (bed made, towels replaced) and the room stayed uncomfortably cold at 21°C. I even had to ask twice for coffee creamer.

We stayed at this hotel but it wasn’t a hope skip and a jump away from Amsterdam. We chose to take the train there everyday which was expensive. We don’t mind being away from the direct location we wanted to go too (Amsterdam) but this for us was just too far. The hotel was nice, staff very kind but the breakfast was not good at all. It was the same thing everyday, good idea to change it up. We were there for 1 week. Would we stay here again, probably not.

The location of this hotel is super convenient with the shopping centre in walking distance and the train station just on 3 mins walking distance. There is a Spar convenient store just accross the road of basic groceries shopping. The property and the rooms are not super modern, but they are nice and OK.

The Plaza is in a great location, 150m from the Almere train station. Very easy to commute in and around Amsterdam from here. Almere has a great commercial area with shops and restaurants. It's a little further away from central Amsterdam, approx 30-45 mins away but the hotel sits right next to Almere Centraal. It's a good stay in general. The staff are very friendly and helpful when we needed anything. The room and everywhere else we can see in the hotel is very clean. We have a family studio with a small dining table and a kitchenette which comes in handy when we brought back leftover foods or just want to have fruits. The room is fairly spacious. Another highlight is you can do laundry yourself for just a few euros.
However, the listing advertised the family studio as having four single beds. It would be clearer if it just mentions that there are two single beds plus a double sofa bed. We were a little confused at first as we were not expecting sofa beds (and without linens, we had to ask for the linen and do it ourselves, not what I was expecting from a 4-star hotel.) There wasn't a restaurant in the hotel and the pool was not open yet, which is a shame. As a 4-star hotel, the service and amenities are minimal.

Very convenient location next to Almere Centraal railway station. There are good shopping possibilities in the opposite side of the station. The hotel staff was very friendly. The breakfast was not included in the rate but it was priced reasonably, so we paid for it couple of days. The room was very spacious with two beds big enough for two people. The beds were comfortable, pillows maybe not so. In Dutch style the room was a bit cold but the blanket warm. Room day cleaning was by request only.

This hotel was perfect for our stay, extremely close to Almere central train and bus stations, so we could travel into central Amsterdam within around 25 minutes, but it was also close to restaurants and bars locally. We were lucky to be upgraded to a larger room and it was very spacious and comfortable with excellent facilities. We did pay for the buffet breakfast on one of the morning and it was plentiful and of good quality.

After busy days & evenings in Amsterdam very pleasant to return to. Being directionally challenged, having the train station (& bus stand) across the courtyard from hotel was most excellent! There’s a Spar & other conveniences very close. The restaurant also great. Beautiful park like area. This senior will choose to stay here again if ever make a return visit.

The hotel is being used for housing a large number of refugees mainly on lower floors and there are large tall security personnel present \"supposedly to help the refugees\".
On the positive side, as a paying guest, they do try to upgrade you to better rooms on the higher floors to compensate.
It is right next to the train station and large shopping centre with lots of places to eat and drink. It is an extremely useful location to use as a base to travel to other cities by public transport as well as to and from the airport.

It’s just ok for work. I’ve stayed over 30 nights here, at least. No matter how much you try to set the airco temp at 19 degrees, it always mvoes back to 23, this is the only downside.
