Title: Fantastic stay, amazing staff, and unbelievable coffee!
We had a wonderful experience at the Avid in OKC! From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff was incredibly helpful. The team went above and beyond for us—they even kindly let us grab some breakfast options while they were in the middle of packing it up, which was such a thoughtful touch.
The property itself is extremely clean, and the rooms were absolute perfection—spotless, immaculate, and super comfortable. Parking was plentiful, and the location is ideal if you need easy access to both the airport and town.
And can we talk about the coffee bar?! Who gets freshly ground coffee at a hotel? We did! It was open 24/7, kept spotlessly clean, and was honestly insane quality for a hotel stay.
To keep it completely honest: the AC on the second floor was out, which was pretty miserable in the mid-July heat, and the outside trash bins were overflowing. However, despite those couple of maintenance hiccups, the stellar service, immaculate rooms, and great amenities mean we would 100% stay at Avid again.

Property was clean, easy check in. Comfortable bed
Chylo
It was nice
Kazuyuki
Nicest bathroom I've used in a hotel
Wendy
The beds were really comfortable and room was clean.
LaDonna
Very clean, helpful staff and easy parking and good breakfast. I will definitely go back
Andrew
Hotel is newer, but it lacks good upkeep. We have stayed at multiple AVID brands, and this one needs some more attention to cleanliness and overall upkeep.
I would stay there again, but understand that it is a little under the quality I would expect with AVID.

Easy check in and check out. Quiet room.

The rooms were extremely small, and the breakfast was cold and the juices were watered down but the customer service, and the cleanliness of the rooms and hotel overall more than made up for the negatives
Hannah
The room was clean and fit the bill for my two night stay. Nothing fancy. No pool but clean, safe and accommodating staff. Breakfast filled the hole.
Hina
Very mean lady at the desk seems she just came on shift and was very rude
Linda
Breakfast was ok.
Detraka
The hotel itself was nice and comfortable. The check-in was not. The lady checking in my party was very rude. While we were quietly waiting to be checked in the check-in lady kept rudely eyeing my party with a smirk on her face. Truly uncalled for and unwarranted.
Christine
Helpful staff, smooth check in, good breakfast, great rooms
Julie
The room was clean, good value. The halls and the elevator were warm, but got the room to stay cool.
Brian
Everything was great until breakfast...got down at 605...supposedly breakfast started at 6...nothing hot...just stale bagels and pastries...about 615 an employee brought out a pot that looked like tan colored water...apparently it was oatmeal that was served before being ready...waited til 630 with half a dozen other guests and nothing...we left and had breakfast elsewhere...your expedia page raves about your supposed great breakfasts but we saw nothing of the sort...took what was a great stay and we left with a bad experience...
Sharon
Airport shuttle.
Melanie
Amazing stay! Very helpful and accommodating staff. Very clean and well organized!
George A
They had no clue what was going on there. Arrived about an hour later then expected due to weather. Now had to take a taxi. There shuttle service stops and starts at their convenience. Had to take a taxi because of an early flight. The room the gave already had someone in there. You should have seen the look on there face when I opened the door. Then it took them an additional half hour to find a vacant room. Now all the restaurants are closed.
Just terrible.
Just terrible.
Amy
Staff was so helpful. My flight got delayed and they allowed me a late checkout. Breakfast was great and the room very comfortable.
Giuseppe
Everything was great , the staff ,the room to the amenities the breakfast

Specifically stayed here again because of the airport shuttle service. When we checked in we saw service started at 5 am. Our plane departed at 5 am. Staff informed us their van had been taken as well as 8 other hotels. Service was provided from a “central location” not the hotel. Upper management decision. Won’t stay again.
Kristina
Newer hotel that was clean and comfortable. We didn't stay to enjoy the amenities but we had a nice stay.
Jennifer
Shower was hot. Room very clean. Shuttle right on time.
Debra
We stayed here once before, in November 2024 and really enjoyed it. However, it has sort of lost its appeal for us. The overflowing trash bin that was never emptied while we were there was just...ugh. Breakfast was okay, service desk was very helpful and obliging. The room felt sort of small this time. Maybe it's the difference between staying on a weeknight vs. a weekend.
jorge
Great place to stay!
Victor
The clean rooms amd restrooms were asesome
Pamela
I picked the hotel for its franchise reputation, but this one did not meet basic standards. Room was not ready until after 3, hallway was really hot, room was muggy, and shuttle was unavailable for my flight at 5:00 am!
Samantha
Pleasant atmosphere with helpful staff. Very quite location within easy travel of food, gas, shopping. Room was clean, bed was comfy. Remote was tricky, shower doors need updating.
Jiaqi
clean room

I’ve stayed at this property many times with satisfaction. However, this visit was full of disappointments. The garage bins were full and overflowing with trash. The coffee machines were not operating properly due to improper setting. The coffee brew was weak and tasteless. When I mentioned about these issues, the lady working at the kitchen didn’t seemed to care about customer needs. The morning breakfast was poorly prepared and unsatisfactory.
Derrick
Staff was friendly
Debra
Great location, plenty of parking, nice place to stay!
Liz
The rooms were small but didnt matter much since I hardly in it. The rooms were very clean and the bed was comfy. There was no water pressure in the shower but made do. I do think the breakfast could have been better. Also you can hear noises in the hallway, but if parents wouldn't let their children run up and down them, it may not have been an issue. Overall it was nice place for the money.
Vanessa
Accommodated great, they had a mix up in the beginning of check in; booked two queens but they didn’t have any but was able to accommodate a King. However, the next day they were able to accommodate and switch us to a double queen with no issues.
Kimberly
Perfect stay for my partner and I. I booked 2 nights and was happy with the service. Room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was a bonus! Enjoyed the food. Would come here again.
Robert
Clean and quiet. That’s all I needed after driving 800 miles that day. Well done to the staff.
randi
Super comfy bed and a good breakfast bar. Will stay again
Victoria
Clean and modern
Kiara
Great service
Julia
Quiet, clean, cozy.
James
No microwaves in room
Paula
Good clean room. Only disappointment was they specifically advertised having shuttle service from hotel to airport. I even called to clarify it prior to booking the room. Got there and they don't offer that in early AM. So just beware of that. Other than that great stay
Galya
The property is maintained fairly well. Our fridge in the room wasn't cooling well but that is minor. Beds were comfortable it was very quiet overall. It would be great if you added an espresso machine downstairs. Overall convenient and safe.
Scott
Beds very hard.
Mandilese
Great stay
Ronald
Water pressure unfortunately was very low. Everything else was great.
Pamela
Room was nice and clean. Breakfast was very disappointing. Not much selection on breakfast.
jennifer
Facility was clean. Beds comfortable. Many times we did not see anyone at the front desk to answer questions. Breakfast was mediocre at best.
Paul
A nice free breakfast
Patricia
The room was clean, the bed were comfortable and the maids cleaned everyday. Breakfast was just ok but overall a great start.
Susan
This hotel was clean, comfortable, and certainly all we were looking for. Very basic, but would stay there again.
David
Excelente ubicación, súper limpio y confortable
Angie
Room was clean. But light bulbs were out. The room phone didn’t work. I tried to call down to desk and I could hear the lady but she couldn’t hear me. I called 3 times. Every call she was rude like she was put out to answer the phone. The ac didn’t cool in the middle of the night just started making noise. I didn’t call about that because what was going to happen in the middle of the night with this unhelpful person?
Barry
We rang the hotel to ask for the shuttle and the girl told us that it was on its way. An hour later we were still stood waiting and it was cold and wet. When we called back the girl said he wasn’t coming and we should get a cab. When we finally arrived the girl was rude, would not look at us, had no manners and actually marked us as a no show. We had been travelling for 24 hours and really needed to check in and sleep. Very poor
James
Clean and quiet. However, didn't like the marijuana smells from people in and around the parking lot and area in front of hotel.
Linda
Clean fresh smelling room. Very friendly staff.
Theresa
Room and bed was perfect. Breakfast was great! We would definitely stay again.
Sonja
Everything looked fresh and new. Was warmly greeted each time I entered. The quality of the breakfast was excellent with good vareity. Everything was very nice here and the value was excellent. The food for purchase was stocked well with great choices. We will be back!
Stevie
Clean room, very quiet. Safe Parking. Helpful staff.
breanna
my overall stay was just okay. however, i’m giving this review because I called the night before requesting a late check out.. Staff at the front desk said it was okay and he put a note on my account.. but there was loud banging on the door in the morning it was security, maintenance and another staff member insisting I could not get a late check out because I booked through a third party. Horrible communication on their part! my first and last time booking with this hotel!
April
Very clean. Comfortable and shuttle to the airport was on time.
Jeremiah
I booked because the property had high marks on cleanliness and was rated very high. I didn’t see any of it. The lady when I checked in during the evening wasn’t quite rude but definitely wasn’t personable. Never said thank you or spoke much to me. There was smudges and stains all over everything in the room. It’s dilapidated. It’s basically like a motel six so they need to start charging for what they offer the continental breakfast was basic. They had some potatoes and some kind of egg mixture all the juices and coffees and bread and things like that for a standard continental breakfast and they have a little refreshment area with overpriced snacks not much variety. Absolutely nothing to do there. No hot tub gym pool nothing and it’s in a very bad area by the airport. Plenty of other places to stay in the area for similar prices that are better.
Barry
Excellent value for money

Deborah
Nice hotel. Location good to the highway. Plenty of restaurants in the area for dining.
Douglas
Great bed and pillows
Ian
Clean room, easy check in and parking on site and decent breakfast. All good.
Jeanne
I picked this hotel for to close proximity to the airport and the included shuttle. The shuttle signup was easy (it's available 24 hrs btw) and the driver was friendly and early for pickup! The room and property was clean. Staff were courteous, bed comfy, no complaints. Thank you for an easy, stress free stay! I left too early for breakfast.
Gary
Double Blackout curtains were amazing. Water pressure was a little lacking. Breakfast was average but 24 hour coffee was the best. Clean and comforable... would recommend and would defintely stay there again
Jace
Clean and cheaper than other options
Renee
Enjoyed our stay and will recommend
Vinay

Raymond
Excellent Airport shuttle. Easy to call and use.
Susan
We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the airport and the shuttle. The staff were perfect, making the shuttle arrangements and right on target in their suggestions of timing.
Joanne
Clean room. Shuttle laughable. I would not recommend
Glenda
Room was very clean, A/C worked great. Did not use Airport shuttle. Not aware we could have left our car at hotel. Staff was very accommodating, friendly, and kind.

It was a great hotel, close to many restaurant choices.
Luke
The conditions of the hotel were excellent overall. The room was very clean. The breakfast was good and the 24-hour fresh brew coffee machines were welcomed. The water pressure in the room was a little low.
My major drawback were that numerous staff including the desk clerk and airport driver smelled of marijuana and were clearly smoking during work hours. Other employees were also smoking outside. While perhaps legal, this was major negative to me as it would be the equivalent of drinking at work.
Otherwise, the hotel itself is excellent!

During my stay, the air conditioning unit ran constantly and did not shut off, even when turned to the “off” setting. At times, I simply wanted some peace and quiet.
The continental breakfast was very basic and nothing out of the ordinary. If it wasn’t to your liking, you would need to go across the street or find transportation to another breakfast option.
The room itself was very clean and had a minimalist feel, which I appreciated. However, Google Chromecast did not work in my room, so I was unable to stream Netflix or cast from my phone. Since my stay was only for a couple of nights, I chose not to contact the front desk.
They do offer an airport shuttle to and from the airport, which is convenient. The shuttle did feel like it may be nearing the end of its service life, but despite that, we made it to the airport without issue. One major plus is the location it is extremely close, with only about an 8–10 minute drive between the hotel and the airport.
The bed was comfortable, especially if you prefer a softer mattress. I slept very well during my stay.
Overall, the location worked well for my needs. For a short stay, the hotel served its purpose. If I were staying longer, I would likely pay a bit more for a more upscale hotel, but for a brief visit, it fit what I needed.

Room was very clean, staff were amazing. Only thing was not up to the mark is shower water pressure, it was very very low
Karie
The staff was brand new so she refused to talk to us. She didn’t tell us about any of the amenities which were absolutely zero. The rooms were very, very small and there’s no coffee in them. I’ll never stay here again.
Marsha
Clean! Staff was okay

Breakfast menu is very limited choices. Only two hot food choices, period. Fruit was fresh. The OJ was too watered down.
