I normally stay at some of the bigger brand hotels on the Palm but I had a very positive experience at Royal Central Hotel. I upgraded to a palm view room with a balcony and was not disappointed, the view was great. I had a rental car and self parking was convenient. Pool bar service was good and efficient. For what you pay I would say it is great value.

Can’t go wrong on the palm? You can if you book here!! Really poor front desk customer service and absolutely NOT a 5 star hotel.
Hotel rooms are tired, really needs a refurb, even the sign on the front is half lit.
It’s allllll the way round the palm to expect a 15-20 min drive after getting onto the palm, and near lots of construction (Jan 2026) the pool area is nice but just not enough space; people reserving the beds early but not using them and really think the hotel needs to crack down on that.
Breakfast was okay. Lots of variety but again people waiting for tables to become available because there’s just not enough space for all the guests… not even peak season!
We paid extra for the sea view and it was lovely, balcony not clean though, chairs sticky and glass very dirty. Simply not a 5 star.
If you are hoping to have a luxury palm experience, avoid this one, you could get a LOT better for less mainland, and if you’re dead set on the palm, I’d go somewhere else.
Make sure you have your passport to check in (unless you have UAE ID) it says it in very very small print Ts&Cs and doesn’t give you that info on the check in information. So we waited for our passports to be couriered and we didn’t even get offered a coffee in the meantime. Was absolutely our fault for not reading the small print but when I say other luxury hotels would have really looked after you… this one was rude and left us in the lobby for 3 hours sat with bags…

The reception lady focused on selling me the new year dinner but put no attention on guest service. The room hardware and so called balcony “facing car park entrance” is not matching with 5 stars hotel.

Hotel was nice .. host Philip was very attentive and friendly which made a big difference. Personally the wouldn’t rate it 5 star as the room was ok but not 5 star worthy and the pool area , at the time we visited , was messy and seemed cluttered. The pools were clean though. No direction as to how to access the beach so we didn’t attempt to as didn’t want to have to walk around people and was only there for one night. The view however was 5 star and the hidden gem in the top floor an open air bar was amazing! If I was rating it just on this it would be 5 star! Would I stay again? I’m not sure as I feel like there are other 5 stars more worthy but on the price point I would 100%! Definitely worth the money. 4*+ would be my evaluation

The property is classified as 5 stars. From my experience it is at best 4stars. Therefore my low rating in comparison to any 5 stars property in Dubai. Plus some points I consider as rip off like an very average breakfast around 40usd PER PERSON or charging for a bucket of ice or charging for a checkout at 2 pm

The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, and the amenities, like the infinity pool and beach access, are perfect for relaxation. I highly recommend it for a luxurious getaway!

Had stayed before for its peace and quiet but sadly the Saturday seems to have changed and had the Poolside DJ blasting music through single glazed windows
If you are planning a relaxing Saturday afternoon don’t go as the poolside live DJ will definitely spoil your quiet planned afternoon
Otherwise the hotel is excellent
Staff are very helpful and prompt in serving
Duty manager was understanding regarding the music but sadly not much could be done
I suppose the hotels are trying to keep pace with nearby hotels with live DJs
The hotel is very family oriented so good atmosphere

First of all, I should say the beach resort is lovely and the area around the pool with live dj and bar is a really enjoyable place to spend your time.

However, we faced some issues upon arrival. Me and my partner had only booked for one night to enjoy the palm. They let us check in early, which we were very grateful in. But our room didn’t live up to expectations… the bathroom worked as a wet room, but with the shower no more than a foot away from the toilet and clearly something wrong with the drainage, the bathroom was literally flooded after no more than a minute under the shower. We took this up with the front desk and after some persisting, a lovely supervisor apologised and allowed us to move room. She was very attentive and upgraded us to a sea view which again, we were extremely grateful for. This did turn the experience around and we had an enjoyable afternoon… but the whole escapade took up a considerable amount of time and for the nightly price, we both thought the first room was a little unacceptable for a five star hotel.

The breakfast was also ridiculously expensive… £68 for two people to buy the morning of.

Overall, we felt that the interior and overall layout of the hotel was a little worn. For the price and rating, we really expected more.

The property was really nice and clean. The staff was great. The only things were the hotel did not have anything for visitors to do while they were there. The full board only counted for the buffet and the food was not that great. And the selection of food was very limited. If we had known that full board was only for the buffet. We would have just purchased our food daily from the other restaurants inside the hotel.

For a stay on The Palm, it was fantastic. Reasonably priced, good facilities with decent beach space and pool access. We paid for a partial beach view but were kindly upgraded to a full beach view which was lovely and meant we could watch the beautiful sunset.

The hotel is very clean, great service by the staff and they were super helpful when we needed recommendations.

We did have an issue with the shower, in that we couldn't get the hand held showerhead to work but there is an overhead option.

Overall, we had a great time! It is a bit far to get into and around the main centre, however if you're looking for a reasonable option on The Palm then this would tick all your boxes.

We did not like how limited the gym facility was, we did not like how expensive the drinks were, we did not like the fact that our view was a dirt lot that was littered with trash, and we did not like how crowded the beach and pool area felt during the day.

I have absolutely no complaints about this property! We were welcomed with drinks at check in and the service was great the entire time. The food was incredible with a ton of food options. I got the chance to even go on a jet ski right from the beach. Views and beach access were incredible. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone!

A very good option on the Palm. Great location steps from the Gulf. Good facilities. A nice restaurant with a very good breakfast. Good concierge staff. Premium room was not premium, just standard. Wifi kept disconnecting. Worth it if price is discounted or with a promotion.

We had to wait some time for the room but still got it before the scheduled time (we arrived early). Room was very nice, facilities were great, beach was great, almost everything was excellent. Only one issue was the pool bar where the staff were not really on top of which customer was next in the queue and they also had the habit of serving multiple customers at once and missing drinks of peoples order. This for me was a minor inconvenience and something for them to work on. Overall though i highly recommended the hotel.

My overall experience was AMAZING at the Royal Central Hotel The Palm. From the moment we arrived everyone onsite was welcoming.

Rooms were thoroughly cleaned (Thank you Nada Raj). This person was so kind and genuine, it was a pleasure seeing him each day.

I've purchased regular room because of the acceptable price and almost immediately received an email suggesting an upgrade to premium room. I decided not to rush on that and responded that I need some time to think. But when I arrived to the hotel they told me that I've \"made an upgrade over the phone so I need to pay for the upgrade\" which is not true because I've never called this hotel.

The sea view is quite good but be prepared to see lots of crows flying around their beach and sitting on your balcony.

They do not have any playroom for children open as well as noone who can watch your children.

Do not visit their grill place downstairs if you don't want to have issues with your stommmack for few days.

Noone wears masks on the beach and third of the people on the hotel premises.

There is a construction work going on so be prepared to smell the paint and listen for the noise.

And finally in case if their \"lab\" (located on the first floor and provides tests being made in your room, I suspect that's a scam) finds that you're COVID-positive and reports that to DHA they're going to get rid of you ASAP kicking out you from your room in 20 minutes after the DHA call. I spoke to the DHA representative who told me that I can stay isolated and have at least one night to spend there but then got a call from Reception saying that their manager has decided to urge the process requesting the taxi. He has declined to speak directly to me btw. Worst experience this year.

Very disappointed in the room service staff here. I stayed at the hotel for a couple days. The pool is really nice and the beach out front is beautiful. The rooms are nice as well. I ordered room service a few times a day and never once did they get the order right. They also left a credit card reader in my room at one point - and called me at 11PM to come pick it up which woke me up. I said it was too late and they could get it the next day and they literally made me get up and put it outside of my room. Very disappointing considering the hotel is so nice. The servers at the bar by the pool are also really bad and rude. They don't buss their tables for hours so the birds drag food everywhere. And they don't come check to see if you want another drink and are rude if you come up to them to order. The concierge was very nice and accommodating. Very convenient that they can send a covid test to your room with 24 hour results. The property is really nice, but the staff ruins it. If you stay here I would go elsewhere for food.

We have stayed at Royal Central more than once. We are always greeted by Emmanuel and Gabriel and all the staff at the front desk are efficient, friendly and most welcoming. The location is amazing. Views of Palm Jumeirah, Atlantis and magnificent sunsets. Nice quiet beach with great service from Emmanuel and Ramesh. Spacious new and clean rooms, excellent beds and pillow menu. We have stayed at the different rooms at the hotel and both the suite and the deluxe room are very quiet, dark at night, spacious and comfortable. The staff is excellent. Ajay Kept our room clean this time and it was always very clean and well supplied with water, coffee, extra towels and all we needed .The staff is very accommodating if you keep a kosher diet and attended to all our needs for Shabbat. We used the spa for massages and were very happy with he services. Sasha was specially good.

The hotel is beyond overpriced for what you receive. Yes the views are amazing but everything else is substandard. We booked half board and the food was AWFUL both at breakfast and dinner and the managers seemed unable to deal with complaints in the correct manner. The room was no cleaned properly and we were not given basics such as hand towels. Overall, I was completely disappointed by this hotel and will never return.

This Hotel has a very nice and spacious private bea ch. Staff are always very helpful and always strive to make your experience pleasant. Due to the location of the hotel, there is significant transportation required to get around to the city. As a result, taxi fares are a little higher than usual. However, the hotel provides shuttle transportation if any guests require it. This is outlined during check in procedures. The atmosphere around this hotel is amazing, very family friendly and the views are stunning. Well worth every bit of money. Will be staying here again soon

Such a disappointment from mould on the bathroom curtain, Live wire in the shower(yep in. The shower). They did change the room and found an unexpected guest in the bed - broken glass. Front desk seemed uninvolved, just changed the room. Foods great, pool and facilities are disappointing . Cut my stay short - again offered a another room,. They didn’t seem to care or take feedback. The Palm is amazing - this has to be one of the worst hotels I have stayed in anywhere , and yes I include staying for a night in Dudley

Great Stay & Stunning Views!

this place is a gem albeit the location. it's far into the palm where you're confined to the hotel and beach but that's what you're paying for anyways.

we stayed in the room with the sea view and the view is STUNNING. especially when the sunsets! the rooms that are in the same column as 510 is right smack in the middle in view of the setting sun, with The Atlantis in the back.

food was okay. we paid AED100/pax for buffet lunch where the spread wasn't fantastic but just alright. the mains selection was limited but lots of desserts and appetisers though! for the price it's decent and not crazy overpriced for a 5* hotel. breakfast was also alright. food options could be better and more exciting!

if there was a great breakfast buffet spread, i'd give a 5* excellent rating. food was the only thing lacking.

other than that, this hotel is still great. staff are nice and helpful. they have shuttle bus to the Outlet village and Nakheel Mall which is nice if you want to get out of the hotel.

if you enjoy doing nothing and lazing around the pool/beach, this is for you.

Overall unhappy,the only nice was our cabin steward..Karin.Last night we had an ants in our room?!Hotel with 5* is overrated...Overpriced and should focus on friendliness and efficiency...

Cheap but the staff need more improvement in communication. We had to pay cash for our in-room service. Because the card machine didn’t work!! First time I heard this and first time it happened to us!
