Clean room, nice service, beautiful site. They give a delicious tea upon arrival. Food at the Mekong Restaurant is wonderful. Buggy (golf cart) drivers are very nice. They don’t really have a business center for working, though. Disappointed in extra charge for beds on beach, though the lounge chairs are nice. Glad that the breakfast at the Beach Club is adults only. Food was excellent.

Resort was very clean all restaurants we used were spotless and food was lovely. Staff were amazing greeting you by name, service was excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Only 2 very minor issues. The air conditioning in the room is very loud but works well, take ear plugs. Room service, cleaning, towels or replacements every time they knocked one of us were in the shower or getting dressed ready for the evening meal so had to keep declining. We were only there 2 nights so not really a problem. The resort is beautiful and our swim up room was amazing. Take beach shoes as the sand is sharp. I will return on my next visit to Dubai.

This property was above and far beyond anything I could have expected. The staff was amazing and so welcoming and accommodating. The resort has everything you could ever need. There really is no need to leave. The lagoon is open 24/7 which we loved. Room service is available 24/7. There is valet parking and the staff is always available to drive you to and from your room in the little golf cars. The food is amazing and the breakfast buffet is phenomenal with everything you could ever think of as an option. I really can’t say enough about this resort. My husband and I went for our honeymoon and we want to come back with our family. I can’t find one thing to complain about. Our time here was amazing!

It was way below the expectations.
Right from the start we were directed to different gate for checkin.. main lobby didn’t receive us. We had to wait almost 1 hour to get into the room. After we reached at standard Time 12noon.
Whenever we asked for water they always provided late and less than asked. After hanging clean my room for more than 4 hours as well they didn’t clean the room.

I won’t recommend this hotel neither will return. It was really like a deluxe hotel and service was very dreadful. Spa was very limited with such huge space for spa nothing much to offer.

When i have got to the hotel the room was not like in the pictures...
We asked for a different room but they they do not have room for all the stay ...
The big problem start later when i askd for my money back the hotel said to ask from the agency hotel.com that said that the hotel doesn't want to refund the money because it was not refundable...

I tried to speak lot's of time with hotel.com but the answers was sound like a bot is answering me.

I feel very bad with that experience

The property would be top notch if it was new. We do find it a little bit tired, however still clean and service is great. Nice beach and pool. Good food at Mekong, not cheap but really good food. At the weekends we struggle to find seats at the pool and beach area it was very busy.

This is such a wonderful place to visit. Overall stay was exceptional. They are all very welcoming. We went as family and they provided everything we had asked as we had a baby. They attended to our needs quickly. This place made a turn around for our Dubai experience. Great place for vacation to relax and enjoy the view. One of the best resorts. We had to get frustrated to receive our room. People came after us and received their room 1 hour before us. At 2.55 I checked with the lady sitting at the check in she said we need to wait maybe till after 3. Thats the only thing i didn’t like.

Unique experience !

I tried 2 different rooms and i am happy i did. If you look for ok room with reasonable budget then residence is good. Not fancy but has all amenities of five star hotel, house keeping was good. If you look for luxurious experience and the unique logoon experience then go for lagoon room direct access, otherwise try both like i did.
Lagoon room was very nice, size, design & , feeling of real vacation. The amenities were super. Room service was good & tasty.
Now the customer service can be improved. It took me few calls and long waiting to get simple things done like delivering luggage and so.
The Spa was super nice, very nice therapists (Thi & Indian ladies both were so good) the facilities good, steam was under maintenance. Rest were good, i recommend Turkish hamam experience.
The Saloon has good fast service.
The restaurants were good but the highlight of my trip was the Asian restaurant, i visited it twice and i will do again when ever i visit Dubai, it is that good. Food is super! Service was amazing, ambience and live music adds alot to the experience. I would highly recommend the Pomelo salad (was recommended by the waiter) sticky mango rice (it was perfect)! Thanks for all specially Tommy & Baifern !
Also the vegan burger at Australian restaurant was a surprise! It was one of the best i had!

Really great facilities and the breakfast buffet is excellent.

However, rooms are outdated and lack some tech perks or anything of that sort.

I have booked the rooms that have direct access to the lagoons and there were very noisy neighbors.

No welcome drinks , no welcome basket ( not that it important but at least small touches makes some difference) .

I would come back the hotel because of the excellent facilities including dining options.

Once in a lifetime, too expensive to go often!

The room was amazing, we booked the over water 1 bedroom villa. It wasn't private as people were in the sea looking in right outside our balcony room and when we looked outside the bath window so wasn't very private! The service was amazing and BoBo made us feel so welcome and took great care of us during our stay. The view of the fishes in the floor window was amazing, but the storm on our second night was a bit scary watching the sea splash up under the villa through that window. Everything was totally amazing except the food was very expensive. Service and cleanliness was impeccible.

The staff was incredible in all facets. We HIGHLY recommend staying in the lagoon access rooms. We loved taking advantage of walking off our balcony into the lagoon whether it was early morning, late night, or at any point during the day. Was a very relaxing way to spend our time. We had dinner at Bushman's and it was fantastic. Cocktails at Bushman's were great as well. Our daily breakfast at the buffet was good as well. Overall beautiful resort with great amenities. We'll definitely be back and will stay in a lagoon access room again.

Go somewhere else for peace of mind

We booked a villa at the resort to take a long-awaited break and a mini baby moon. Wouldn't recommend the villa stays - very expensive considering the state of the outside (covered in bird faeces, pool needs a daily clean to ensure that all the foliage, berries, bird droppings etc. are cleared out). The inside of the villa is spacious, comfy and elegant.

The service during the stay was great but it was all ultimately ruined when the hotel failed to return our deposit for incidentals. They had no issue processing all of our payments but when it came to returning our money, I am still chasing Anantara a week later. The first excuse was that their network was not working and that the money would be returned by the end of the evening and that their staff would update us in a few hours. We heard nothing and had to chase them. We have had to chase Anantara several times as their staff don't both to update, offered no decent explanation for why our money can be taken but not returned and don't seem that bothered.

What started off as a relaxing break has become an utter pain and we won't be recommending a stay here to anyone. There are plenty of luxury hotels in Dubai with wonderful sea views and great service that nobody needs to waste quality time with these issues.

Overall the stay was good. Lagoon rooms are very nice and comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. Food is good. Service is good. Cleanliness of the lagoon should be improved, and the blue night light installed at the lagoon is a problem that we faced as one of the guests has epilepsy and this light triggers epilepsy so were not able to swim at the lagoon or even sit by it during the evening although we had a direct lagoon access room. The lagoon night light should be changed to normal pool white light to make it friendly to people with neural illness.

Took a signature spa. Therapy was overall average. Post the therapy we were asked to promptly vacate as they had a couple waiting. We should have been rushed post the spa. Post this we were moved to a relaxing room but we could hardly relax as staff kept moving up and down. Went to the steam room. No attendant. The shower was not working so had to walk up to the spa reception to seek help. They sent the engineers to fix. Preventive Maintenance should have been in place. The whole experience was ruined.
Post narrating the experience I received a 50% waiver. I feel it should have been a 100% waiver .

As a compensation / service recovery I was offered 50% off on the full price if we went for a spa again. It was a joke as they were anyways running a promotional offer for everyone. I chose not to visit the spa again.

The previous night we had a challenge with the room air conditioning. The engineers came around mid night. Had a disturbed sleep. They offered us a late checkout. We however left post lunch.

When we went to the beach houses ( coffee shop) the view when we looked outside was that of the back side of an air cooler. Not a pretty sight. Would have expected the management to pay need to the aesthetics. Similar observations at other public areas.

On day 3, we observed the housekeeping was not done. As per the hotel the house keeping staff spent 30 minutes in the room whilst we were away. I recall that the bed was not done.

If you want a real treat, then get the Premier Lagoon Access room. You have direct and semi-private access to the 24-hour swimming pool (lagoon). You will see your neighbors a bit, but the experience is wonderful. Your own patio with steps into the pool, and a platform in front of your patio where you can sit and enjoy a beverage. The room service takes a bit, but they now give you delivery times which helps with the wait. The food is good for in-room dining, and they don't gouge like some hotels. The mini-bar fridge is VERY small so don't count on it for refrigeration. The lavatory is huge and has an optional wall that opens to the room and view of the lagoon. The rooms are dark wood and smell of kafir leaves. There is ample closet space, a nice coffee maker, glassware, and a wine opener/bottle opener. The television provides multiple services and information. The bed is very comfortable, and the blackout curtains are a must for those who sleep late. The staff is very helpful and they seem to have been trained to chat with every guest. The only drawback is they have taken to bluntly asking for good reviews (as this disturbing trend continues a la Black Mirror). We have stayed here a couple of times. The Bushman is good to great food and chill (not a DJ) live entertainment. The Beach House is good food with a great view and shisha. I highly recommend this experience, and will definitely do it again.

Great spa and the Bushmans restaurant is delicious. The buffet breakfast was also great however service was a little bit slow. Would also like to see pork products at the breakfast buffet.

Unfortunate that Bushmen's was closed but The Beach house was excellent with food and service. Predesh? gave excellent serviced to us and made us enjoy it more. Afternoon tea is also great at the Lotus lounge. I recommend this.
