Hotel is not 5 star. its very old, in places not well maintained, very basic and empty looking. Food is ok but nothing special. Had no cold water or toilet facilities for nearly a whole day. This hotel was mote 3.5 stars.

Beach team and Italian restaurant are clearly 5*. Rooms nice but really could do with some entertainment at night. Singer outside the Palm Restaurant very nice, but post meal the hotel lacks atmosphere

Beautiful hotel (there is construction next door, so try to get a room on the other side of it). Really lovely and very wonderful staff. The spa is also *amazing. I got a Thai massage and it was great. It was like a real therapeutic massage (my neck was in really bad shape) the pool is beautiful the food is good. My only issue is it’s pretty far away from everything. Getting back into the city takes a long time

An excellent stay as always! We first visited this Waldorf in 2014 over the Christmas holiday shortly after the hotel opened and have been back virtually every Christmas since. The hotel has matured beautifully but remains crisp and well maintained . The staff are always a delight! Well done team Waldorf and see you in 2026

For the cost of the stay and name brand hotel. Very disappointing. The only good part was the breakfast, poolside and dinner staff who were very attentive with excellent customer service. Lack of vegetarian options at the buffet restaurant. Next time I would stick to Jumeirah Beach hotel!

It was our third visit to the hotel. We travelled with extended family who were celebrating a birthday. We confirmed decorations for their room upon arrival but these were placed in the wrong room. Reception were also reluctant to place a debit card on the room which caused lots of hassle with half board drinks charges which were not explained to us on arrival. In addition, there were delays when reception tried to book a tennis court for us. Housekeeping missed cleaning our room entirely on some days. The facilities, pool & restaurant service were exceptional as per our previous visits but the housekeeping & reception standards have slipped.

You can’t fault it in anyway. However because it’s a little more expensive you feel like you have to just stay in hotel or by beach to justify cost. It’s good for people with young children that just want hotel based with excellent facilities. Good for couples.

This is the best hotel I've experienced. Everything is spotless clean, luxury, service is top level, every evening is a different food style. Food is insanely good, If I need to choose something I didn't like, was the Indian style dinner, as there were no alternatives. Big thanks to all the team and specially to Wasim and Ravi who were exceptional and beyond. We will definitely come back!

We experienced different hotels, with great check-in. This one didn’t welcome us with our drinks we had to pour are own drink. The people next to us were served the drinks we felt like we were not valued as a customer. It was my 40th and engagement celebration. Every hotel has done something for us to appreciate us except this hotel not one recognization at all. We booked it because because of its review and it’s high ratings for luxury and experience which we’d love. So the value was horrible considering there was a lot of construction next-door with a weird sewer smell coming out of the area. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great stay with family , we would definitely go back , there is work going on in the hotel from 10 am - 6pm , this was not mentioned on our arrival. Could have been disruptive if wanted to spend more time in our room.

Luckily not the case as out for most of the day every day.

There is building work going on next door but didn’t really notice it.

The pool area and service provided is excellent, the team do a great job.
Also the food for breakfast & dinner is great with also excellent service.

Have Been a few times before , will definitely look forward to going back.

We have stayed here maybe 10 times now and it is always excellent. There is a building site next door but to be honest it doesn't really affect the hotel. It is lovely how Shivani in Messerie Restaurant always remembers us and make us feel very welcome. The staff who work at the front area remember us as well which is nice. Halid on the beach even remembers where we like to sit and puts our towels out nice and early, we can't ask for any more than all of this.

Construction on neighboring propertie , bad smell in shower , poor quality spa needs upgrades , lots a wear and tear ! When purchasing breakfast and dinner packages not all food is included and even water for diners is sold separately ((( unique experience!
Breakfast is great and stuff is good ! Food at dinner time is ok , nothing special. Stake is terrible! Beach is poor, is sand missing !

Second time staying here. Staff are fabulous. Never notified that they are constructing next door.
Let down by not getting notified our booking at Palm Avenue was cancelled because of a New Year Ball. They also closed the family pool area down for this. The noise from music testing was off putting on the beach. I guess money being made from outside guests was more important than those resident. I wouldn’t mind normally but you pay a lot of money to stay here.
