The room itself was clean. However the fixtures (dressers, counters, faucets, etc) looked and functioned like returns from Home Depot. The outside door lock was non-functional, so anyone could enter the hotel.

The place is broken down and unsafe: The entry to the rooms is broken so anyone can enter and my first floor window didn't securely lock and no stock so could have easily been entered. The room doors are in shambles. It was so sketchy i left before 3am in the dark and there were dudes sitting outside listening to music getting high.

One of the better low cost motels in town. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The compressor in my mini fridge broke during my stay. Staff removed it and brought in a new one. Fragrances were strong for my nose, but I did like the scent. The neighboring room was noisy one night, but quieted down after I asked staff to intervene. Overall, my stay was uneventful and unremarkable, exactly what I look for in cheap motels.

The property and the room I was in was clearly in need of an upgrade. Exterior door had no lock. Let alone e a card key mechanism

Beds were comfortable, TV, A/C, fridge and toilet worked fine.Shower was so so.

Convenient location to fairgrounds, and I felt safe but it truly was budget accommodations. The staff was friendly and helpful.

It is a mess. It smells like weed and who knows what. The pool is shut down permanently. It's really a sign of a declining civilization and that is unfortunate. A towel in our room looked like it had been used to clean up an oil spill. Broken laundry machines were in the lobby. Torn screens. No screens. A room you could see from the parking lot that was full of lamps. A scene from the third world right here in Fargo. If it was a theme hotel to experience the dirtier parts of the third world, it would succeed at that.

I understand that this place was inexpensive , but it was nasty. It smelled bad and we got eaten up by bedbugs. We had to mop the floor ourselves. The bathroom smelled like sewage. We had to ask them to wash the blanket it smelled musty like human must. Worst place I have ever stayed and I was a flight attendant!

The room was fine, nothing special. The Safety Lock was broken and hanging precariously, suggesting maintenance was not a huge priority. Breakfast didn't look like much so I didn't even bother. I just wanted a place to stay that didn't cost too much and it met my needs.

This is a very basic budget hotel with no amenities at all. The room was dusty, there was no carpet, and it was quite loud during my stay. Towels were limited and there were minimal in-room features. It worked for a place to sleep, but I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for comfort or a clean, quiet environment.

I chose the property because I needed a cheap place to stay before my flight. This wasn’t worth half the rate. Basic cleanliness and safety amenities are lacking. The shower curtains and refrigerator had visible mildew. The bedspreads have cigarette burn marks. Door latch had been wrenched from its bracket and was hanging loosely from its hinges. Trash had been left in the closet. The entire building smells of cigarette smoke and mold. I am not a picky traveler - I regularly stay in budget motels - but this was a genuinely appalling experience. No staff availed when I checked out, and I didn’t watch to stay another second to wait and complain. Absolutely do not stay here if you have any sense of personal hygiene or concern for your safety.

We didn’t even go in. We pulled up and saw how unclean it even looked just from the outside and decided to drive the few hours back home instead. We weren’t expecting perfection, we knew it was cheap and we weren’t paying much. But we just couldn’t get ourselves to stay.

This place has the potential to be nice, but is a bit run down. The pool and several laundry machines are under maintenance. The deadbolt on my door didn’t work. Neither did the hot water in the shower. No protective covers on the mattresses and all the common areas smelled of weed.

I found everything about Studio 7 absolutely unacceptable.I checked in and checked out again 90 minutes later. The hotel was outdated, rundown and in extreme need of repair and remodeling. The repairs that were done were done by a handyman and not a professional. I would not let an animal spend the night in that hotel much less a human being. I returned to the airport and spent the night on a couch in the lobby before my flight out the next morning. I would like a full refund of my 50 sum dollars and change, but I know that is not going to happen even though I did purchase the insurance. I would not recomend this hotel to anyone.

No hot water for shower in morning before I left. Wiped with a cold wet washcloth. Desk person refused to help, Refused any reimbursement. Junked washer and dryer sitting in lobby. Semi with dump trailer taking most parking at front of hotel. Will not stay again. Do not recommend. Condition and stay did not match the reviews.

Left at 5am it was so gross. Grimey. Only used the bathroom once and no one at I was getting in the showe. Supposed to smoke free but someone was obviously smoking in there. Have to wash all the clothes in my suitcase. Walls paper thin. Pay the extra $15 and go to a chain. This was the grossest hotel I have ever been to.Parking fine.

What a rough shod place this is. Abandoned appliances visible behind the building from my window, seen through a shredded window screen. The pool is 'closed for repairs' and not visible from the hallway windows (covered). The rooom's HVAC appears to be 50 years old (through wall) and filthy. In desperate need of updates.

When I stay in a room on the main floor, I always check if the window is locked. My room window lock was broken. The desk clerk/hotel manager was offering to use a plastic curtain pull to jam between the windows. Not a good remedy since the rod bent. He offered a new room on second floor. I accepted. The window did not lock in this room either. Being on second floor, I figured I was safer. I noticed a window screen was ripped in a second floor window.
The plastic stair runners were dirty.
No front desk person upon check-in. A guest had to show me how to ring for the desk clerk. There wasn’t a sign or information on how to request assistance.
The room was clean. Parking is safe. The hotel is in the process of updates.

The desk staff is friendly and helpful. The facility is undergoing renovations and looks a bit disheveled. The bathroom vent brought significant cigarette smoke smell to our room. The room is clean and comfortable and has nice amenities, though the television only gets the weather channel.

A really decent place for a decent night’s sleep.

Clearly, this was a newly renovated room in a hotel that caters to people who need a place to stay for a week or two at a time. It was clean and I really glad that there was no carpet and tile flooring. The bathroom was very nice. I had a room with two queen size beds and they were very tall probably about 27 or 28 inches above the floor. I of course only used one, but it was really comfortable. However there were a couple of things that were missing all of them are minor. There were only two twin size pillows on each bed, which made me glad that I had brought my own. There was no trashcan in the room or in the bathroom area and no place to hang up my clothes but all in all I had a great night sleep for both nights that I was there so I really can’t complain about anything major.

You get what you pay for and understood that going in BUT as with any hotel you do expect to some basic expectations. A clean room, bedding etc. is baseline. While the sheets may have been clean, comforter and other areas of the room, not so much.
