Tv in room didn't work. Was told maintenance would get to it that Monday(7/20/26) when they checked in the Friday. Pool was gross with no close sign. Couldn't even see the bottom of the pool. No fire alarm in the room and the window was bolted so you could only open it a lil bit. You'd die if there was a fire.

I prepaid for the reservation. They had no record of my reservation when I arrived at 10pm. No other rooms available. I blame the hotel and Expedia. I expect a refund.

the air conditioner wasn't working properly, the room was very humid, so bad that the bedding felt damp and the carpet and flooring felt damp also

The space alien shower complimented the restaurant next door. Shower curtain was nasty with a large hairball on it at check in.

The hotel clerk said I did not have a room at this motel. I said I went through Hotels.com and showed him my itinerary number. He said the motel never got a reservation from Motels.com for me. I had to go find a room at a different motel. I am terribly disappointed with this experience in both Red Roof Inn and Motels.com.

Because of a hotel’s system glitch that apparently happens after check-in, our reservation was not imported promptly, and the Superior King room we reserved was unavailable at arrival. We were downgraded to a standard double but charged for a supe king.
My son stayed the first night but we requested it be made right the next day or to refund us for the 2nd day so we could go elsewhere.
Manager refused to work with us. She was rude and unprofessional demanding I not speak when she wanted to speak even though I can’t read her mind. Coorporate was closed so Expedia assistants could not get calls routed to the hotel, but put in requests for resolution. We explained this to local manager and staff and were called liars to our face.
My son was in town b/c little sister inpatient for stage 3 cancer. It was cruel working with a manager on a power trip for what should have been a simple resolution. Had to end a call when not permitted to speak but had to handle drs. Then when we tried to check out and explain situation in-person after the first day, while awaiting resolution through corporate and Expedia, we were told initially that the manager blocked it, then told it was “illegal” to let us check out.
We left after that first day, after being refused checkout, to go to another hotel. Because we had to get back to focusing on my daughter’s survival and not whatever is happening with hotel management.
We would’ve worked w/ them on a resolution but they legit wouldnt let us.

Entrance smelled of marijuana. First room we got smelt of pet urine. They gave us a different room the following day which was much better. Coffee pot was full of stagnant water and filled the room. Hallways smelled of marijuana and often entered our room.

It was a portrait without an interruption. I felt like the veritable forest of construction. Lots of red bull made for some high wired nights followed by the soothing crash. Wouldn't have it any other way. The hallway is a little too small for a luggage cart unfortunately. Just squeeze your shoulders and all is well.

The staff were wonderful, amenities were on par with the pricepoint, rhe room quality however and I can only speak on our room, was not great. The room had an odor to it with a likeness to...gym lockeroom? Lets juat say the air was tangy...... And the overall quality of the room itself was kind of rundown. Maybe a little more tlc from the house keepers, if youre understaffed and over worked then ignore my review and thank you for what you do.

They do not havr airport shuttle on weekend. Very noisy and maybe limit the amount of small dogs at the same time. Also the clerk had to repeat herself 3 times to the people in front of me today. She did not slow her roll of explaining things, credit card for inedentals, pool hours, breafast times and wifi info.

Staff was rude to my son he's 19 working pipeline asking his age if he had the money to stay as a mother it worried me . It was paid for the day before with his own credit card he works really hard for his money .Everything else was fine location and all thank you for listening worried mother

I did not like the hospitality when I checked, the black lady that was working was very rude. I would have never got the room if I would of walked in and got met with such rudeness, makes you think twice to book online especially when you cannot cancel the room!!!

Picked this place by value and didnt realize i was in front of it. Right off interstate, Many gas and Food options within a mile or so. Did not use the pool however, I did find it after. Great breakfast in morning. If i go back to Fargo, definitely would stay again..

Room was clean & comfortable, but showed its age. Tv was a pain,needed to use two remotes which were rather “sticky”. Outside was rather unkept with rough parking lot and lots of weeds around the building. Breakfast was great and found ALL staff to be friendly and helpful!

This was the first time I stayed in a Red Roof Inn in ND and it was disappointing. Something of a given in hotel/motels is that rooms have a directory of services, a local map, and a Gideon's Bible. The Bible was here, but not the other two, and when I asked at the desk the clerk said \"It's not a requirement and we don't have them.\" and made no other offer of assistance. Later, she did call a cab for me when I asked.

Last night after banging on the door I was met with curses so I called the desk, but nothing got resolved until I angrily called a second time and someone came to the person's room which got them loud curses, too, but that finally settled down about 0300!
In-room amenities were not just scarce, but nonexistent. There was coffee but no creamer, sugar, or stirrers; no napkins or tissues; the bodywash, shampoo, and handwash dispensers were empty. I left a note at the front desk when I left for my appointments yesterday, but that elicited nothing. They were still empty when I checked out this morning...!

Hotel was fine. Staff was great. Beds need replacing. And Hotels. com charged me $40 more than what I would have paid if I just reserved directly from Red Roof Inn. Won't be making that mistake again.

I did not like the fact that when arriving the room was not fully examined for readiness. A lamp bulb was burned out, we had no reading light by our beds and the alarm clock was unplugged and not easily accessible. We had no kleenex in the room and only a very very small amt of toilet paper left on the roll and no additional paper in the room. This was very inconvenient in the middle of the night. It seemed the AC would stop after awhile even though set at continuous airflow. The breakfast area was very neglected. Each day hot items had been all used and not replenished. The bread, bagels were dry and most items gone by 7:30 and again not replenished along with cream cheese, all the pepper was gone, the PB was gone. Very poorly stocked and all tables unclean.

Front desk staff did their job but not with a smile. I didn’t feel welcome there. Lots of questionable people hanging around the hotel. Room was clean but rundown. Continental breakfast was lacking greatly and many items like the eggs and breakfast meat were empty not even an hour after it opened.

It was ok for a quick nights stay and not willing to pay a ton. Room was fine, beding appeared new. But the hallway, at least on the 2nd floor, smelled like pee.

It was a good stay. The first room we got had not been cleaned but the staff graciously gave us a clean room. One of the beds looked sagged out but the room was fairly clean. I love the fact that the pool was open till midnight.

Starting off service was as usual great they were able to accommodate our needs to have a ground floor room due to elderly parents. That was awesome. The rooms were great and clean. However downside was that the hallway smelled like marijuana. We noticed the smell when we first got there just kinda brushed it off but before the end of the night one of the other guest was asking if we had any extra weed to smoke and could sell to them or if we knew where they could buy some at. It was late at night but told the staff the following morning and should’ve told them then. We like most people were awake around 11pm and later since the storm that was passing through was producing high winds rain and tornadoes. Either way will continue to use red roof inn have used them in the past multiple times and have never had an issue just wasn’t a fan of my wife being asked that or having my kids ask what that smell is. Continental breakfast was fine and a nice thing to use given our tight schedule for the soccer tournament and multiple kids going different directions.

We liked the location and that it was around other hotels. The parking was adequate and I like that the second floor was for people without pets. Staff was extremely friendly and allowed us to book online to save a little money and she let us know it would be about 10 minutes before the booking would come through and she could process it.

Usually when i stay here its pretty good. I normally ask for the same room when i book. This time they wwre pretty booked, so we got a different room. First the shower head was jot working properly, went to the desk and fixed it the follwing day. That was nice! Both beds were so uncomfortable one had a huge lump felt like i was sleeping on a warped board. The other sounded like it was falling apart ever little move. The microwave smelt like it was on fire when i used it, then would just turn off mid cook. If this were my first time staying i probably wouldnt go back.
