This is my fourth time at this hotel. Love the vibe and the amenities. We have never EVER been booked in the correct room. Wrong every time. They blame Hotels.com. I waste time while the most gracious staff fix the problem. What’s gonna happen the one time my room choice is not available? I have called Hotels.com and they state I should be booked for the room I pay for…..Then I get to the hotel and I get a base room. Not cool. I’ve booked a room with a kitchen and balcony and paid for it. Fix the problem. I can call and confirm and I still get the wrong room. The staff are excellent. They agree with the problems but since this is a Brewery with a hotel as an add on there is no one onsite to really fix this. I’ve emailed and had no reply. Not professional.

You should just be aware that the room does not have blackout shades so if you need blackout shades, you should bring something for Eye covering!
They do provide earplugs which you might very well feel like you need.
Overall, it’s a very cool property with lots of interesting shops on the first floor and plenty of places to pick up your favorite drinks! 😜

Wonderful except for the train noise. If you wanna sleep at night, do not get a room facing the railroad tracks. Very loud and the train chugs through more than once during the evening and night.

The property as a whole has a lot to look at between the market, coffee shop, & bar areas, however actually settling into our room and sleeping there a couple nights made it apparent there were some basic conveniences that are lacking.

The room/amenities: The room is chic & minimalistic but the minimalism came at a cost of no rugs or carpeting which made our feet cold. We also noticed quickly there are 0 lamps in the room. The main light source is overhead with a neon sign on the wall, but nothing for you to have at your bedside or couch, so the lighting is either 0% or 100%. The ceiling fans also wouldn't turn off fully, even with the dial put all the way down, so it made it more chilly in addition to the cement floors. I would also recommend adding a shower curtain to extend the walls of the shower as the walk in lets in a draft while in the shower. We also noticed dust bunnies large enough to be seen across the room in areas like the corner of the living room & behind the bedroom door.

The service: I had forgotten my toothbrush and the placards in the room say they have toothbrushes available if one is forgotten; I think I talked to about 4 different employees including a manager and the cleaning staff and no one seemed to know this was being advertised. They said I could buy one at one of their vendors downstairs, but they don't open until 10am. It is also advertised that the hotel staff will only be available between 8a-10p but they were not easy to find or call.

This was a great place to stay with a unique theme. There is a lot going on. There were a few dinning options on site we great beers brewed on site available for consumption. Great outdoor space to relax and enjoy. the staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and surprisingly quiet with all of the activities downstairs and the train tracks out back. My room faced to the east giving me great sunrises to enjoy every morning. Overall an enjoyable place to stay that is not your traditional hotel.

Brewhalla is a unique experience- one part market, one part bar, and one part hotel. There is no traditional “front desk”, you check into your room at the bar, or- after 10 pm, you can arrange to check in virtually.

The room I stayed in, The Juiceler, was clean, well-maintained, and the bed extremely comfortable.

If you are in the Fargo area and looking for a place to stay that is unique and stands out from the usual chain hotel, give Brewhalla a try!

The bed in the room we stayed in had a very pilly mattress so you could feel the little balls in the mattress and the bed was a bit rickeddy and probably needed to be replaced. The headboard had some pieces of wood sticking up. The ceiling fan clearly hadn't been dusted in quite some time and there were drink rings still in the windowsill. The showee was warm but never got hot. The trains were loud but the sound machine helped! The bar staff were always friendly and it was a good vibe but the room we had last year was much cleaner and felt much more maintained. We stayed 5 days and one little trash bag and a leftover roll of paper towel didn't cut it. It's definitely setup for a night stay but when asked staff did figure out how to replenish things, including glasses, and although they questioned the need, they were quick!

This is a destination hotel. The marketplace with the shops and restaurants are wonderful. Drekker Brewing has fantastic beer with styles for every taste. The room was large with awesome decor. Our room included a balcony overlooking the train tracks. We heard the train a couple times but it did not bother us. I would love to stay here again.

Cool place, very noisy though. The walls are very thin. There was a wedding booked on one of our nights and it sounded like a rave party in our room until midnight, they need some sound proofing , that walls were vibrating and it sucked. The couch bed was thin and not sleepable for my kids, we had to buy an air mattress to get them to agree to stay past the first night. The food and stores are great, next time I will go for dinner and sleep somewhere else.

Very cool place. It was nice to go downstairs and have a drink before heading downtown for dinner. You get a free sample beer when staying. Neither of us are beer drinkers. But there is something for everyone.
When we arrived the elevator was not working and we were on the 4th floor. Little hard to carry bags with a broken shoulder. The staff brought them to us in our room.
Would stay again!

When we arrived we were a bit overwhelmed that this was a busy brewery restaurant complex. The receptionist Anna warned us that it was going to be a very noisy party night. She allowed us to see the room. It was very cold (concrete & steel) stark industrial style. Also big freight trains running outside our window. Anna immediately offered us a full refund which we accepted. We went to another hotel. Yet to receive this! Anna was really excellent.

We have stayed at several hotels in the Fargo area and booked at Brewhalla because we wanted something different. This hotel was very clean, the rooms were clean and fun. The beds were super comfortable and the room had everything we needed for a great stay. In addition, it was located in a mall that had numerous local items for purchase including food, bakery, boutique items, etc. along with a few bars that had numerous flavored brewed beers that were very good. I would definitely return and recommend this hotel to anyone that wants something different than the boring chain hotels.

Brewhalla was an incredible surprise and easily one of the most memorable places I’ve stayed. I was traveling with my sister—who’s a huge craft beer fan—so I booked it thinking it was simply a hotel near a brewery. I couldn’t have been more wrong. Brewhalla isn’t just a place to stay... it’s an entire experience.

The integrated market and food hall were such a fun bonus, with so many great food options. I had a burger from Unicorn Park that was honestly one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. I’m not even much of a beer drinker, but we sampled a few until I found one I genuinely loved—which made the experience even more festive.

The rooms are incredibly unique, each with both a number and its own name, plus colorful custom murals that make the whole place feel festive and full of personality. The industrial design gives everything a fresh, modern, impeccably clean feel. Our room was spacious, the beds were extremely comfortable, and I even found myself wishing every hotel would switch to the liquid bath products they provided instead of those tiny soap bars.

One of my favorite moments was sitting out on our balcony, sipping beer and soaking it all in. We easily could have stayed another night—or two—because there’s just so much to enjoy at Brewhalla. If you’re considering a stay, book it—you’ll get so much more than just a hotel.

I'll have to say the hotel as a whole was really cool. My room was the only issue. The bathroom had a sewer smell the whole 24 hrs I was there. The air conditioner was malfunctioning and would grind when it kicked on. My room wasn't very clean. Especially the bathroom, lots of gunk around toilet and a bunch of hair on the walls. I was just kinda bummed because the reviews were friggin awesome, so the uncleanliness of my room was sad. I think I'm probably the only guest that had anything bad to say about anything. However the hotel was really cool, and had a great vibe and stellar decor. I would stay again and hope for a clean room lol.

This was an amazing hotel. Our room was very clean and decorated in a really fun manner. The beds are memory foam and extremely comfortable. We loved that it was attached to a market with food and a brewery. The staff was great and our check-in was flawless. It was nice to just have a code to use the elevator and get into our room which kept us from having to keep up with a room key. We loved staying at the Brewhala!

This hotel is seriously the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at, seriously! Rooms are very nice, quiet, and clean and staff is amazing. There are restaurants and a coffee shop on the first floor and the food is always good. It’s also close to the Sanford Broadway Clinic, which is why we chose to stay at Brewhalla in the first place since we have a family member who has frequent appointments the Sanford Broadway Clinic. All in all, 10/10 would recommend!

The toilet was not clean. There was hair and feces on the underside of the seat. Towel hangers for the shower were falling out of the wall. The main door was very hard to shut and had to be slammed to close. It was partially open when we arrived. Creepy. EV charger was blocked most of the day. I appreciate they had one but the cost was a bit high per kWh. Otherwise cool place. Would stay again.

The staff was great and the hotel was perfect for a girls get away. We loved the little shops to browse in and having the restaraunts on site was a wonderful addition with so many options. There was a perfect variety of things to do for all of us! We had so much fun and want to plan another trip soon! Only complaint was parking but that was expected! You can choose to park in the basement for an additional fee but we chose not to.

I love this hotel/market and will absolutely be back, but you should know the property backs up to an active railroad and trains pass through at all hours.

The building is stunning, and well maintained. It’s a mixed use property with the first floor being a market with food and vendors. The shops are so cute and have such unique items. They offer contactless check in, a private parking garage for a fee, and great in room amenities.

Besides the passing trains, the only issues I had were a broken lightbulb, and a tv that I had to program to use. Both easy to live with.

Even with the trains, I fell in love with this place immediately and it’s now by go to in Fargo.

Brewhalla is a very cool place. It was a short stay, so we didn’t do much exploring in Brewhalla itself. We came up for a concert and left the next day. The room was very cool and it had a balcony. Beds were comfy. Overall, great place besides being woken up very early of the sound of someone dragging something extremely heavy across the floor and it making an unbearable SCREECHING noise, like nails on the chalkboard. Lucky I had packed ear plugs, although it didn’t block out that noise completely it helped for me to fall asleep for another hour or so.

Its fun and quirky and im ok with that. However heres a few of the negatives. The floors in the rooms are concrete. Not a fan of walking around on cold hard floors in my hotel room. There was also very limited counter space around the sink to get ready. Lastly the space is DIRECTLY next to an active railroad track, enough said, we did not sleep well. Was hoping for a fun new spot to stay in Fargo, but i wont be staying here again. The market though downstairs is fantastic. Just not the hotel side.

One-of-a-kind lodging. Industrial location with very noisy rail line nearby. First floor marketplace is a treat and the free 6oz beer was fun. Decor in the room and overall is unique and extraordinary. If you need a lot of staff attention know that the check-in desk is the bartender and staff leaves the building at 10PM. Definitely worth a visit to check it out and I will stay there again next time I am in town overnight.
