While, it looked like the hotel had had some upgrades.My room was in a shambles. It looked like they'd made the beds over the top of dirty mattresses. I found dirt inside my sheets and under my fitted sheet. There was no mattress pad. The fridge wasn't clean. The floor hadn't been vacuumed.The bathroom hadn't been cleaned. There was a broken mirror. And the pillows looked like they'd come out of somebody's basement. They were lumpy, small and uncomfortable to use. And while the advertisement said it had internet, the wifi would not let me access any.

Let's talk about the location, easy to find, plenty of parking space. Checked in, on our way to the room the carpet stood out. Extremely dirty, black paths that lead to each door some area had a liquid trail that lead outside. Our room, sticky floor. The beds, one had a blanket, the other had some sheets. Shampoo and soap. Basic good enough to get clean, the water was hot and the toilet worked. The HVAC unit worked good. Should have been a $50 night, not the $86 I paid.

Rented two rooms for a cheap place to rest our heads for the night…both rooms were absolutely DISGUSTING dirty sheets and pillow cases with pink hair color stains shower was still pink from the previous guest coloring hair and not being cleaned hair all over the bathroom toilet not cleaned toothpicks all over the floor dirty q-tips all over the room floors not swept or vacuumed summers Eve coochie spray in the bedside drawer along with condoms (not used thankfully) only one hand towel and a cleaning rag for a bath mat for towels between both rooms…do not stay here unless you have no other option.

We were welcomed and seemed like a clean place, closer inspection it was an old weather establishment with a tv that wouldn’t work. A night staff that promised to check it out make it right but couldn’t, he offered a deal on the next night and the main manger who seemed bothered to speak with us said too bad. No credit and no tv. Not worth a bargain, try Ramada or Beat Value in

I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. The room was dirty when I arrived, with dust and stains that made it feel poorly maintained. What was even worse was that the bed linens were never changed during my stay. The lack of cleanliness and attention to basic housekeeping standards was unacceptable. I expected a much higher level of hygiene and service. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel and will not be returning.

I enjoyed the stay in the bison Inn suite and university. I got one microwave one refrigerator good company TV in the room. They are halfway on the renovation. They are doing great work on the property. Absolutely I enjoyed myself in the property. I enjoyed the food next to this property. It’s called Randy diner. I love that food too. No one hassled me. The front desk was polite enough. The microwave, mini fridge and tv in the room all worked. The bed was comfortable and seemed clean, but the sheets had stains.

The room needed more thorough cleaning. The showerhead screamed at me. The window was missing a screen. The bathroom and room doors were barely functional.

Other motels at this price point in town are better. Some are worse. Spend more money on a nicer place if you can afford it.

When I checked in- he had not read my request for ground level room- had to think about where to put us. We landed on the second floor- no elevator! I have mobility issues. Waited all day traveling from Dryden ON- for a shower. Lugged the luggage & opened the room door- no bath towels- no chairs- no table- no coffee pot- fridge not on & microwave not plugged in- only 3 flat pillows for 2 queen size beds. My hubby says- it’s only for 1 nite. I went to call the front desk & phone doesn’t work. No paperwork in the room- no papers indicating where one could order food or get food. What else? Definitely not a 7 as posted in Expedia. Carpets were stained throughout the floors- nope not returning & not referring- change rate to zero

Hallways smell like marijuana and cigarettes. Very sketchy people hanging out in the hallways. Walls and doors are thin, can hear people from all directions.

Sheets were filthy, didn't look like they were washed at all. Towels smelt really gross, regret wiping my face with them. I couldn't have a shower, I was disgusted.

Was with my wife and child, we didn't feel safe. I can hear a lady in the hallway yelling that someone was recording her. There was a gentleman that was hanging out in the hallway that would just stare at us everytime we leave the room.

Thankfully we only stayed a night. Of course the price is what you pay for, but just be prepared.

I would have given a worse review but the price was low so that’s important to remember. The non-smoking room had been smoked in quite a lot, the previous occupant removed the smoke detector. The floor was not vacuumed and was almost grimy. The bed sheets were clean but both mattresses should have been replaced. Pretty uncomfortable. I ended up buying a can of Lysol and cleaned all the flat surfaces, toilet, bathroom floor, shower, etc.

I pulled out the window heat/ac filters and cleaned them. Then disinfected to try to remove the smell.

The staff were friendly but need to up the cleaning standards.

It was horrifying. There were needle caps in the bathroom, blood on the walls, poop on the walls, dirty sheets, dirty floor, and the guy at the front desk wouldn't even try to clean it because his housekeeper's weren't there yet, me the guest, was supposed to clean it and put new sheets on the bed, the door wouldn't lock to our room because the lock was broken off and the deadbolt wasn't cut right to fit into the slot. Druggies everywhere and hostile, also told we weren't allowed to have visitors in our hotel room due to other people staying in the rooms below us that cost more money and he wanted to make them happy. Do not stay here even if it's the only option.

This hotel was absolutely disgusting. The only reason I stayed at this hotel was because literally no other hotels were available due to graduation and a conference going on. First, the entire hotel smelled horrible of weed and cigarette smoke. So strong I got a horrible headache. Second, barely got any sleep due to constant car alarms going off, people talking loudly in the halls and banging on door the door of the neighboring room in the middle of the night demanding to be let in. As far as my actual room went, holes in the wall, mold in the shower, the bedding was disgusting. I dont even think the sheets were washed. They where stained and smelled terribly of body odor. I felt dirty even sitting on the bed. I was just passing through town looking for a nights sleep and couldnt even get that. I was up and back on the road 2 hours before I needed to be just because I could not relax or stay in that room a moment longer. I went to the front desk, no one was there. I called the number to ring the desk several times, no answer. I honestly should have just found a truck stop and slept in my car. Do not waste your time or money. If this happens to be your only option, bring your own bedding, soap and towels. Check the bed before you get in it.

I had a great time staying here. The gentleman at the front desk was very kind and helpful. He grabbed me an extra pillow with some sheets for the bed so I could replace the ones on the bed which were stained. There was a hole punched in the wall of my room and I let the front desk clerk know. He indicated he was aware. I did not ever find a microwave in my room or in the facility to use. I asked if there were other ice machines because the one in the lobby was broken. There were not. Though, the nice man at the front desk gave me half a bag of ice from the freezer. This place was cheap but had a working shower, toilet, comfy bed and good ac. It was totally worth $50/night for two nights. For a cheap stay, pick this place!

Upon arrival, there was no one at the front desk. When we called the number for assistance as instructed by the sign, the manager who answered the phone was rude and unhelpful, but said he would \"be right there\". We waited at least 15 minutes for him to come to the desk to help us, and the 3 other groups that had arrived to check in. The hotel was dirty and unwelcoming. When we got to our room, the door to the room did not lock. When opening the door to leave, the frame fell off of the wall, including the latch for the lock, which had been screwed into the trim of the door, which was fastened to the sheetrock by finishing nails. We were denied a refund, but the rude and unhelpful manager offered to move us to \"the good room\". \"The good room\" was less dirty, but had a cigarette butt and other debris on the floor, one thin towel, and only half of the lights worked. Overall, this hotel offered a gross and uncomfortable experience with rude staff.

Booked online so wouldn’t refund. I slept in my car!! Bed bugs streaks on the box spring. Had not been vacuumed. People hanging out of windows when I went to park. Took forever for the person to come check me in. No hand soap in the bathroom but there small packs of shampoo that I had to use. I was afraid my small dogs were going to eat something bad off the floor. Garbage in the halls and place smelled of cig. Smoke. They do have a pool not being used but they use it for storage of a bike and other crap. Some rooms don’t have door knobs on the doors but people were in the room. The ABSOLUTELY WORST HOTEL IVE EVER BOOKED AT!!!! I’m very surprised Expedia had it on their site.

My dogs wouldn’t stop sniffing around so that tells me a lot. They don’t do that in a nice hotel.

the people staying there are disrespectful they just did renovations (not a 5 star by far but you knew that when you’re booking) this is a budget motel . As they were putting new carpet in the whole building at once painting and fixing odds and ends ppl were literally trashing it so all the work they’ve done made no difference brand new carpet messed up trash all over like there isn’t big trash cans at the end of the 3 exits. to the visitors (soap and water is free amenity) trash all over outside which like I said u walk past the trash can n decide to throw your trash on the ground which is diabolical. places like this have cheaper rates for local people who are going through a tough time or travelers such as myself simply on a budget. so HAVE SOME RESPECT! Just depends on the ppl staying there. The front desk employee is a very nice guy very accommodating and goes above and beyond and very kind to everyone needing a bit of compassion. any time I stay there I’m treated very well by him. Hopefully people start acting like the adults they are so they can make more updates to better our stays.Police patrol EVERY HR no joke lol won’t bug u though unless you’re the problem. few pot holes but that’s typical in the Midwest OVERALL it’s not a hotel issue it’s a ppl issue

I don’t usually mind cheap hotels but this one was definitely you get what you pay for & reminded us of the Bates Motel. Parking is very tight & kind of creepy even though well lit. It appears that you can pay monthly rates to live there also. The only thing good about this place was the bed was comfortable & there was a working fridge & microwave in the room. One bath towel & no one around last night or this morning to get more. Hallways were dirty with sand & dried leaves. Bathroom needs a complete remodel. The sheet on top of the old “fuzzy” blanket was dirty & stained. Bathroom floor & room carpet looked dingy & should be replaced. No pool or breakfast which we knew ahead of time & were fine with. It was better than sleeping in our car but not by much. We slept with one eye open.

You could hear everything outside the room (might've been due to the 1.5\" gap at the bottom of the door between the door frame). Wouldn't recommend to anyone I know.

Upon check in the staff was weirdly unfriendly, needn’t greeted with a hello, he just uttered a “yes”. Check in was at 3pm, I called in advance to request an early check in of 11am and was told there will be a $15 fee which was fine, but the staff acted as though he never received that notice. The room was unpleasant - sheets and towels were stained, the bathroom had hairs and brown stains around the sink. It also smelled like stale cigarettes. I didn’t bother to sit on the toilet or use the shower. It was an inexpensive stay, but not worth being uncomfortable and going without any decent hospitality.

The front desk attendant was nice, but everything else was not up to par. The room was filthy. Dead bugs on the walls, along with unknown substances in the beds, walls, floors and bedding/curtains. The smoke alarm was missing. The bathroom had dirty towels and hair all over the shower. The room didn't have a TV remote and when I went to get one, multiple people were hanging out both at and behind the counter. We left after 1 hour. Luckily I was able to get a refund.

The hotel is being nicely remodeled. Our room for $100 was great. Nice bed. Jacuzzi. Great shower. The other guests though made our one night unbearable. Fromm10pm-4am nothing but cops, stomping, screaming, etc. don’t think we slept more than 30 mins. I want to the front desk 4 times and only once did the employee come out. When he did I gave him compliments on the hotel and told him to go calm things down. Yeah that guy ain’t doing nothing. Great room but if I can’t sleep, what’s the point. Truthfully I want a complete refund.
