I didn't like that we had to pay for breakfast at the \"Bistro.\"
When I called regarding charging stations nearby I was told there was one by the \"Noodles & Co a short distance away.
Tried them and they did not work (both of them). And the front desk did not have any info.

Great hotel, very helpful
Heather
Great lobby and hangout space . Rooms are nice and clean. Only decaf coffee in room, had to pay for coffee at the café. No breakfast included. Café food was good, but pricey. On the first floor, so loud in hallways and from the room above us, especially on a Monday night.
Maralee
Wonderful staff, quite and convenient.
Rod
I contacted the front desk when I learned that the room was not cleaned after the first night. The front desk person advised me that they only clean the rooms every other day unless requested. I told him I was not advised of that and I thought it was unacceptable. He hung up on me. I called back and he hung up again. Don't EVER STAY HERE!
Brian
The property was conveniently located for the purpose of our trip. The room was certainly spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was bright and very clean.
Jason
For what you pay, breakfast should be included.
Samantha
It was great, the staff was helpful, and I appreciated that I was able to have my service animal.

Clean, great bistro, pool cold, I would stay again

Staff was helpful, rooms were clean, great location, pool was a good size but water was cold. I will go back.
Jada
We were only there for one night so we didn’t use the pool or the restaurant but the staff was friendly and the room was clean. No complaints. I liked the location of there it was at as well.

There were no amenities.
Continental breakfast was expected but not available considering the price of the room of $244 for one night.
My mistake by assuming.

It is an attractive place from the moment you enter. Our room was beautiful and the registration clerk acknowledged my prerequest for a room that had not had a dog as guest. All staff have a friendly spirit and convey a sense of pride in the hotel.

Everything about this hotel was fine except for the king size mattress. The side I slept on was wore out and sloped off the edge. So basically my wife and I had about as much room to sleep as a full sized bed. Very disappointing.
Shanee
Room was clean on check in but was not cleaned during the stay- didnt have very much interaction with any staff other than check in and out- he was friendly. Pool was nice(water could have been warmer) the room was nice enough , not the most comfortable bed or couch but overall fine
Alexys
Breakfast is not complimentary, be aware of that. Otherwise stay was pretty good, clean

My family and I had a nice and comfortable stay, I would definitely recommend. Not having breakfast included in their booking was a bit of a bummer, especially for my wife but otherwise it was a nice place and the staff were very good.
Ashley
I enjoyed our stay. I was traveling alone with two kids for a last minute trip. Hotel felt safe. Room was clean and well appointed. All the staff we encountered was so kind. Everything we ended up needing was very close and convenient.
The only reason I wouldn't book again is if we found another hotel with a better pool area and hot tub.

The room was very clean and the staff members were very nice. Will be coming here again!
Amanda
Our room was very clean - the staff was so nice, check in was extremely fast! Will definitely be staying here again!
DeNell M
Nice hotel. Nice rooms. Good location. The overwhelming negative was the very unpleasant person working the “bistro” counter. She did nothing but complain very loudly to herself and other guests about how “done” she was with the customer complaints about the broken espresso machine. She doesnt seem to understand that her attitude was the entire problem. She doesnt deserve to work in hospitality. Mary, for everyones sake, find a different job!
Samuel
Very comfortable bed, clean, room stayed warm in extremely cold weather. Free parking near entry. Restaurants nearby - was so cooks we are at the bistro in the hotel. Food good but limited menu. Gluten free offering as well.
Jona
Very clean modern and easy to check in

Staff very friendly
Patricia
Our first night was very noisy. Lots of kids running up and down the halls until at least 11:30. They were right across the hall and they were slamming doors and running and then knocking on the door or slamming their door during this time. Very unpleasant. Went to use the pool the next morning and couldn't because there had been broken glass in the area so pool was closed..Second night was much better was quiet.
Dustin
Walls seem paper thin, can hear everything in other rooms. Tons of kids running in the halls making it hard to sleep. Bed was very firm and pillows not supportive at all.
Jacquelyn
Clean room; friendly and accommodating staff. On site food was delicious and even though it was pretty expensive, worth it to not have to leave the hotel for good food.
Jessie
We had exposed spray foam in areas around our room.the building is rickety and the hwy is very loud.
William
No problems, great location.
Josh
Friendly greeting and check-in. Clean room.

Staff and service were very good. Had several problems with getting room keys to work. Bath tub drained super slow so when you showered you were standing in about 3 or 4 inches of water. And I learned that a martini at the bar cost $23. I think I should have been told when I ordered what the cost could be.
Cynthia
I liked the property, it was safe and beautiful, however, there was a very strong smell of sewer that never cleared during my stay.
Cheryl
It was near where we wanted to go

Roaches in the room especially in bathroom. Clerk admitted the problem exists in some rooms. No apology offered.
Rebecca
The rooms are quite large and very comfortable. The staff at the bar and front desk are wonderful and very helpful. If you have small kids, the kid pool is nice.

Close by unique sites (eg, Dairy Queen, etc.) and gas. Would have preferred a free hot breakfast included like at other Marriott’s, but Starbucks and other options are close by.
Jamie
A convenient place to stop along our road trip route.

Awesome time

Room was very nice. Water pressure for shower was lacking a bit, plus hot water in sink for washing hands was non-existance. Those were only things I wished were better. Fast, friendly service, in good area of Moothead.

Great stay
It was a very comfortable relaxing stay! Only thing missing from this property was a hot tub. We enjoyed the courtyard, safe location, walking paths nearby!

Pro: The room was very nice. Check-in and checkout easy and quick. Bath and tap water were immediately warm, however, I was unable to get cold water (any which way the handle was turned) for my water bottle.
Con: There didn't seem to be free breakfast service with the room charge of $164 + tax. But there is a small restaurant next to the lobby with a competitively priced menu.
Neutral: Near the lobby there's no elevator and upon entering door B with baggage, I saw no elevator up and down the immediate East-West and North-South corridors, so I hoofed it up three flights with two bags. On the way back down, I found the elevator in an \"elevator lobby\" along the corridor where the room was located.

I was staying in one of the remolded rooms and it was very nice. I liked everything about it but there were just a few things I would have liked to see. A full length mirror. The only larger mirror was the one above the sink and one on the wall that only went town to my knees. The water pressure int he sink was terrible as well. Everything else was lovely.

Room looked to be recently renovated but the bed was uncomfortable.

This was a great place to stay away from home.

Consistently great service
Great service and accommodations as always
Pascual
Decent hotel for decent rate. Only issue with this place was the maze-like layout to access the elevator. Got lost twice just trying to get from the lobby to the elevator and from the side entrance to the elevator.

About 4:00 they were doing some work in the next room. Very loud
Bathtub didn’t drain

No breakfast, gotta buy it from Starbucks

I stayed two nights. On the second day they never made my bed, replaced my towels, or replenished the coffee pods for my coffee pot.
Michael
Helpful staff.

Fast and easy checkin. No fan in the bathroom. Bed was comfortable. Hotel was quiet.

Not impressed
This motel does not offer breakfast you have to pay for it as well as coffee
Also does not have a hot tub only swimming pool
Definitely needs updating

Great stay for business and pleasure!
We stayed here as part of a conference and then added an extra night. It was a lovely stay! This hotel is truly beautiful, particularly in the lobby area. We appreciated the set-up of the lobby with the individual booths with individual television screens. I worked for an entire day remotely at those booths. We greatly appreciated the bistro and bar in the evenings. The food was delicious! In addition to the hotel restaurant, there are additional restaurants and coffee hopes in the hotel parking lot area. I enjoyed the hotel courtyard. While we didn't use them during our stay, the gym and indoor swimming pool were also outstanding.

Great place to stay
Although free breakfast is not included, the purchased breakfast was great! Cooked to order and similar price to restaurant. Coffee is brewed Starbucks. Convenient too.
Donna
There is no continental breakfast included in the reservation. I can't remember the last time we didn't have a breakfast included in our motel stay. I know that would probably increase the cost of the room, but I think it would be appreciated by a lot of guests.

The staff thag checked us in was super friendly and efficient, great first impression goes a long ways! Our room was clean ans comfy for a one night stay. There was a coffee maker in the riom but not carafe so had to go to lobby and no microwave but not a huge deal.
Randall
Check-in person, young guy on 9/17/24 was excellent. We had tickets to a concert at Bluestem and weren't sure about parking, but he had good advice.

Nothing special

Friendly and helpful staff. Great amenities. Nice courtyard with well maintained facilities.
Lisa
It was very clean. The room was clean and quiet. The staff members were nice.

Pizza crust under couch and odor from that area. Mattress in pull out couch was very filthy.
Shower is too narrow for the new dispensers hung right where people stand. Not sure why they were not moved to the end of the shower.

First time stay, hotel room came with a balcony that was awesome. Would have liked to seen a hot tub in the pool area, but overall we had a good stay.
Diane
I reserved 2 rooms. When we got there, I was expecting to be able to check into both rooms at 3pm, the time they are supposed to be available. When we got there we were only able to check into 1 room. I was told by the front desk person that they had a lot of people who checked out the night before, so they were behind. He assured me he would call the cleaning staff right away, then bring my key for the other room as soon as it was cleaned. I was informed that our 2 rooms are adjoining rooms. After 30 minutes ave no sign of any cleaners, I proceeded to call the from desk.

Kudos!!
GREAT customer service when checking in! GREAT service at the on-site restaurant, also. Room was VERY clean. Will be making this our regular place to stay when we visit Moorhead, MN. Kudos to the Marriott Courtyard Team!

Nice
Hotel is nice and updated lobby and eating area are very nice. The elevator is kinda sketchy and the rooms could be updated. Bed was not great but I have a terrible back so for others it might be fine.Pool is great with a large kiddy pool and slides. Deeper pool was just the right temperature but I miss having a hot tub.
Brian
The bathtub was extremely slippery when showering and needed a more grippy tub bottom. There was no microwave in the room which was very inconvenient because we had leftovers from a local restaurant that we wanted to heat up as a late night snack. My wife and I both were disappointed at room cost…way over-priced in our opinion.
Tara
We were there for a family funeral. The staff, the bistro host, housekeeper… all were awesome!
Sara
Explained extra charges on my bill, unable to speak to anyone on site. And I continually had to fix my toilet throughout the entire stay. Not worth what they charge.
Jessica
The hotel recently redid tge outside of tge building and it looks really nice. They have also redone the inside in the main areas. Rooms need some work with furniture starting to show wear.
I attended a conference at the hotel. The conference areas are well laid out and hooked to the hotel so very easy to get to your room. Food at the conference was very good. The different conference rooms are very close to each other and easy to navigate. The furniture in the conference rooms is also beginning to feel worn with wiggly tables and chairs.

Nice lobby area for the whole family to hang out. Very clean quiet and comfortable even with the 3 hockey teams staying there. We were there for a family funeral and really enjoyed our time together in the comfortable space. The younger kids also enjoyed the pool.
