I love YOTEL Glasgow's location, right across the street from Central Station. The rooms are comfy, with a fully adjustable bed, privacy windows and shades, and very modern facilities. The A/C is so welcome - I can get the room as cold as I want (pretty chilly) for sleeping. The lights do keep shutting off because I'm not moving around. :) Nice staff 24 hours at the desk.

The hotel is in the middle of the city. So if you are looking for somewhere quiet and peaceful maybe not the best option. However, if you are looking somewhere convenient place to look around the city, its a great fit. Its a walkable distance the train station, many cool restaurants around. The hotel is clean and modern furniture equipped.

Staff are friendly, room is clean. However, every SINGLE light is on a motion sensor timer that requires you to move close to the front door of the room every 15-20 minutes. So I couldn’t even relax and read in the evening because of this terrible feature. I’m all for power saving. This is ridiculous when you can’t turn them back on from the main area of the room.

I use this hotel regularly when I am on a work trip to Glasgow, it's no frills but staff are friendly and efficient, rooms are clean, have very comfortable beds and great showers.
Location is ideal for Central Station and there are lots of restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk.
Vega bar does decent food and a good range of beers and is reasonably priced.

I wasn't expecting much from a budget hotel but I at least expect it to be clean. The floor clearly hadn't been cleaned in some time, bodily fluids on walls, skirtings (under a thick coating of dust) and on glass walls within toilet area, overall room was dirty and I had to clean before I could feel comfortable sleeping there. Fridge didn't work, LED lights round the TV come on randomly throughout the night waking you up, even though you turn everything off. Overall the room was worn with chips/ holes/ dust on walls and furniture. Reported to reception staff when checking out and showed pictures of the filth I had removed from a small area of the floor, apologies we're offered but that's as far as it went. hotel is in a great location, but if staying don't expect high cleanliness or finishings and take some cleaning supplies!!

I’ve stayed at the YOTEL now about 5-6 times. The check in is so easy, the staff are lovely and the location of the hotel is perfect for a night out in Glasgow. Highly recommend this hotel.

The black out shades. were awesome, kept the room super dark unlike every other hotel. The room was small but good use of space. I didnt like how the fridge was only room temp though, makes no sense lol it needs to be cold lile every other fridge!

This hotel is in the best location with a beautiful restaurant/bar at the top of it. Staff was exceptionally courteous and assisted me whenever I needed. They even helped me get a Taxi for the way back to the hotel and I was able to do an early check in.

The room was spotless.. From the bed to the bathroom. Loved the bed which reclines back and forward so was great to sit up and watch TV ( had a bother with the remote control though) lots 9f storage for our clothes... And was surprised to find a fridge! The shower was very good and husband gabe it 5 stars... Towels were a great size too! So that's all the positives... Including the price 🙂 the downside was it was very dark... Even with all lights on we were struggling to see! The light switch for the bathroom was over by the door... So going to the toilet without making your way over to the light was difficult! No table to eat our dinner on was a downside for us.
Lastly... The staff could be a bit more friendlier and welcoming... Its not difficult 😏

The room that we had wasn’t clean, there was blood stains on the floor and stains over the wall, desk in the room had chips init and the chair was covered in stains, booked the vega bar for 4 hours and the bar staff were so rude my partner was waiting for 15 mins at the bar and the bar staff stated he would need to wait as he was going to serve the women first so rude and not professional.

The room was in merely O.K. condition. Due, I suppose, to an automatic sensor, the lights kept tripping off on me. The fire alarm and hotel evacuation that occurred on the night of my arrival left me with an overall poor impression of the property. Likewise, hotel staff seemed unwelcoming and quite indifferent.

Fire alarm, cold shower but nice room

The room was really good, as was the bar and food.
However this morning the shower didn’t come through warm, when I checked in it asked if I wanted to pay £15 for breakfast, so I said no. Turns out I had booked with breakfast so I paid £30 to skip breakfast twice as I thought I would grab something elsewhere.
It wasn’t really there fault but the fire alarm going off at 11:30pm wasn’t great either, thankfully we got back in the building within an hour.

With the price, there should be some coffee, tea bags and kettle. The ladder for bank bed should be straight to the bed rather than to the wall beside the bed. Otherwise, good hotel

Check in was quick and the two young ladies on reception were lovely and very helpful, Room was great and loved the bed (which adjusts and raises at the top- really cool!)

The rooms are compact but excellent comfortable bed and good shower and toilet.

Room temp was really cool on arrival but turned off the AC and it warmed up, only thing I didn’t like was you cannot raise the blinds at all in the bedroom- so no natural daylight and lighting is fairly dim- otherwise great !
