The room I stayed in was clean, the bed was comfy, the room was dark and quiet. It was a disabled room which I hadn't asked for. the bathroom was huge but there was no toilet lid and the wash basin was tiny even though the shower was good. There was no kettle in the room, which was a major disadvantage for me but you can get a drink from the cafe upstairs and bring it back to your room. Not brilliant. The staff were pleasant. The breakfast was ok, but not very warm, although you could get as much as you wanted.

The rooms need an update. Dirty carpet and stained mattresses.
Had a fire alarm go off at 2am, rushed out and not a single word from the staff no words of reassurance or explanation.
The next day the water went out for the majority of the day. The water in the morning was boiling hot and was unable to shower or even wash my hands. Eventually the water just stopped. Not happy. I had to reach out to gain an explanation. The staff finally left a letter and did end up going door to door but that was many hours later and only after it was restored.
I think communication needs to be prioritised going forward.

Very nice, clean hotel.
A couple of things that could change.
The bed was too near the wall on 1 side. Also 3 mirrors but only 1 had a socket at it.

Excellent room size, very clean, shower fabulous, great location.

Will definitely recommend to friends & family. Would also stay here again

This hotel was awesome. Great location right in the center.. steps from the train station. The staff was super friendly. They gave me a tea cup to take with me to my concert.. the rooms were clean and very modern. The showers were great.. and the rooftop dining area and bar was very nice in the morning. I will definitely stay at this hotel again and I recommended to anybody else who’s travelling in the area and wants an easy option close to everything.

Ideal to stay here when visiting Glasgow or days out by train. The room was very compact and had most things we needed. We would’ve like a kettle, but you can go up to the bar and have complimentary tea and coffee which we only found out about on the last day (we stayed for 6 nights).
There isn’t that much space to hang clothes if you’re staying for any length of time, but fine for a couple of nights.
We had the Scottish breakfast on the last morning, we prefer an English breakfast. The continental breakfast choice looked very good though. The staff in the breakfast bar were very helpful.

Upgraded room, which was really nice, lovely bed and shower. Sofa was a little bit sad as cushions would slide out. And no tea/coffee making facilities. Also vending machine downstairs out of order, so had to go out to buy coffee, which wasn’t great ☹️ I wake really early and just want to have a coffee in my pjs, but not possible ☹️ nice hotel though and great location ❤️

Staff was busy talking among them with personal stuff. Lack of attention when I asked to request a taxi, she did not care her body language showed me that. Room are very nice and Vega the 7th floor entertainment center is not welcoming, everything looks very artificial.

The staff was excellent, and it's across the street from Central Station in City Center. Hotel bar was cool, and plenty of other bars on that block.

The room was in good shape but WAY smaller than it looked online. We booked a Premium Queen. The bed was a Craft-matic style bed with a weird 80's style headboard/built-in side table. Only one side table. The bed literally took up the whole room. The only way to get into our suitcases was to tilt the bed all the way up, which made the foot of the bed move in toward the head. No desk, no chair, just a little foot stool to sit on while putting on your shoes. A friend of mine said it was \"very european\".

There is no teamaking facilities in the room. The room had many modern gadgets like electric folding bed , fancy lights around a large tv and mini fridge, but no kettle or cups etc. I paid for the room upgrade so had no intention of going up 2 floors for a cuppa at 7am.

Fantastic location, very comfy bed, was surprisingly quiet despite being right by central station. Only thing that was annoying was the lights that time out so you have to keep getting up to have them come.back on - a pain when you're relaxing reading or watching tv after a busy day of touring around. Would be great to have option to turn the sensor on for continuous light.

Central location and everything was clean, stylish and convenient. Staff were friendly.

These are the reasons I didn't give it five stars, but they are very picky:
• No tea, coffee etc in the room.
• The room had a motion sensitive light, so as I was lying in bed reading, I was plunged into darkness. There was no switch by the bed so I had to get up at which point everything was bright again. I was worried it might come on in the night if I moved in my sleep, but it didn't, but it come on full when I got up for the bathroom, which woke me up more than I wanted. I suspect there was a way to manage all of this if I'd had time to get my head around it, but when you arrive at a hotel in the evening, you do't want to spend your time navigating lighting systems that are more technically complicated than they need to be.
• The same over-complication was on display with the bed. It was motorised to prop up (like a hospital bed). The button to lay it back was slightly awkwardly placed and the mechanism was noisy if you were lying on it at the time. I could help feeling that the same effect would be achieved more cheaply, efficiently and effectively by using the pillows of which there were plenty.
• If the hotel was determined to motorise something that didn't actually need it, it would have been better to motorise the blinds on the three windows which had to be lowered to prevent a full-length view to the outside world of the room (including bathroom facilities).

I love YOTEL Glasgow's location, right across the street from Central Station. The rooms are comfy, with a fully adjustable bed, privacy windows and shades, and very modern facilities. The A/C is so welcome - I can get the room as cold as I want (pretty chilly) for sleeping. The lights do keep shutting off because I'm not moving around. :) Nice staff 24 hours at the desk.

The hotel is in the middle of the city. So if you are looking for somewhere quiet and peaceful maybe not the best option. However, if you are looking somewhere convenient place to look around the city, its a great fit. Its a walkable distance the train station, many cool restaurants around. The hotel is clean and modern furniture equipped.

Staff are friendly, room is clean. However, every SINGLE light is on a motion sensor timer that requires you to move close to the front door of the room every 15-20 minutes. So I couldn’t even relax and read in the evening because of this terrible feature. I’m all for power saving. This is ridiculous when you can’t turn them back on from the main area of the room.

I use this hotel regularly when I am on a work trip to Glasgow, it's no frills but staff are friendly and efficient, rooms are clean, have very comfortable beds and great showers.
Location is ideal for Central Station and there are lots of restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk.
Vega bar does decent food and a good range of beers and is reasonably priced.

I wasn't expecting much from a budget hotel but I at least expect it to be clean. The floor clearly hadn't been cleaned in some time, bodily fluids on walls, skirtings (under a thick coating of dust) and on glass walls within toilet area, overall room was dirty and I had to clean before I could feel comfortable sleeping there. Fridge didn't work, LED lights round the TV come on randomly throughout the night waking you up, even though you turn everything off. Overall the room was worn with chips/ holes/ dust on walls and furniture. Reported to reception staff when checking out and showed pictures of the filth I had removed from a small area of the floor, apologies we're offered but that's as far as it went. hotel is in a great location, but if staying don't expect high cleanliness or finishings and take some cleaning supplies!!

This hotel is in the best location with a beautiful restaurant/bar at the top of it. Staff was exceptionally courteous and assisted me whenever I needed. They even helped me get a Taxi for the way back to the hotel and I was able to do an early check in.

The room was spotless.. From the bed to the bathroom. Loved the bed which reclines back and forward so was great to sit up and watch TV ( had a bother with the remote control though) lots 9f storage for our clothes... And was surprised to find a fridge! The shower was very good and husband gabe it 5 stars... Towels were a great size too! So that's all the positives... Including the price 🙂 the downside was it was very dark... Even with all lights on we were struggling to see! The light switch for the bathroom was over by the door... So going to the toilet without making your way over to the light was difficult! No table to eat our dinner on was a downside for us.
Lastly... The staff could be a bit more friendlier and welcoming... Its not difficult 😏
