The hotel is located in the city center, where you can find shops and restaurants, and of course, the famous Focaccia Genovese. It's also just a short walk from Brignole train station, and buses stop right there to get around the city. Don't forget to take bus 31 to visit Boccadasse. Excellent hotel, well-priced, friendly staff, and clean. I'll definitely be back.

Very (!) conveniently located 6 minutes from Genoa Brignole station. Good breakfast with made to order coffees! Room is quite compact, but comfortable. Only issue was that the room was a bit warm and we couldn't get any AC to come on. Used the open window instead (and a personal fan I'd brought with me). Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent stay! Exceptionally clean, great front desk service and advice for places to see, where to eat . Breakfast was a very good selection of food choices and great coffee. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends!

It was a fairly basic room but perfect for a few days in Genoa. Comfortable bed, clean room, fresh towels daily and friendly staff, in a great location about a 15 minute walk from the popular Molo area. Considering it is located on a busy street, the sound proofing is good and it was quiet at night. The only downside was the size of the shower - could do with being more spacious.

Great location very handy to train station onky a 5 min walk. Plenty of shops and very easy walk to marina. Only stayed one night on our way to Cinque Terre. Staff ensued we arrived ok as we had a late arrival.

We stayed one night at Hotel Nologo ahead of our cruise departure. It was what you expect for a budget hotel. Hotel is conveniently placed and service agents were present for morning and check-in. Cleanliness was ok however there was a musty smell throughout corridors and guest room bathroom. Served its purpose. Would stay again if only for a stopover sleep.

Great stay as always

My fourth or fifth stay at this hotel. Location is fantastic - close to main shopping street, lots of nice caffe's and bakeries, safe area, 5 min walk to Brignole train station. I always try to book this hotel because it has everything you need for a nice weekend stay in Genoa.

Really cool, hip area, very close to train station also. Great breakfast. Rooms were very clean, but small & sparse. Could use some shelves and/or hooks in bathroom. Great for the price though!

Small room. Clean. Decent value for the money. Area around hotel seemed safe enough, but my wife was violently pulled to the ground by her backpack 100 feet from hotel entrance at 3 pm with at least 100 people around in the street. We're not sure if it was a prank (because we were surrounded by schoolkids that had just finished for the day) or an attempted robbery, but only one 70 year old man showed any concern by helping her up. Front desk at Hotel Nologo was not at all concerned or surprised when told of this event.

Great location and lovely staff, allowed me to check in early as my room was already ready. Nice continental breakfast. The jacuzzi was broken which wasn’t that bad as it would have been too cold to use but it was something mentioned at check in that I could use. My only complaint was that the shower didn’t have a way to change the temperature and it was too hot to use.

The location couldn’t be more perfect. Very easy to get around and close enough walk to the Piazza Ferrari. The room itself was kinda random for a quadruple room i dunno how you would fit 4 people in it. The bathroom was very small too but I was alone and stayed in this room 1 night so what totally fine. Couldn’t find how to get in at first but once I did it was pretty easy to get around. Staff were super nice too!

Has a hostel feel but it's fine for a short stay, handy for Brignole station and only 10 mins from the main square. Breakfast was in 2 shifts and you had to choose which when you checked in.

I can't fault the location, staff and the room. But if you book 'a terrace with a jacuzzi' you expect the jacuzzi to be working, otherwise i would have booked elsewhere. I quite fancied the novelty, which i paid for, but didn’t get.

Although it said that there is parking available, it wasn t available at the property, only at a few meters away and it was mandatory to leave the car keys. If you don t have parking available at your property it would've been a great heads up because i wouldn t have booked it. Also they over booked and for my colleague to not have to search for another accomodation i agreed we share the room, although no discount was offered only the option that he leaves.

Breakfast was wonderful, especially for 4.5 Euros. Room was suitable for budget hotel, quite clean and nice windows. Could have used some water glasses. Was quiet two out of three nights, but one night couple next door started screaming fight at one am and kept up loud talking until three am. Walls were thin. Was incredibly annoying.

Perfect location ! 5 minute from the train station but in the heart of old town. So many restraunt options right outside. Staff was great and let me ship a package to reception. The room was great with a balcony, AC and a TV you could cast to. The room was cleaned very well with the bed sheets being changed and fresh towels. About a 20 minute walk yo the closest beach. Perfect stay and would stay again in a heartbeat !

Had a wonderful 3 days in this lovely hotel!
Lovely neighborhood with everything just stone throw away from the hotel. Supermarket/cafes/ristorante, you are spoiled for various choices :D

Room offers a balcony view of the vibrant streets, it’s beautiful to watch locals getting ready for Xmas! Streets are all lit up with ornaments & festive lights; Meraviglioso!
Bed is so comfortable I had the best sleep in its duvet/comforter WOW!

The reception available 24hr and of course the lovely wonderful staffs: Francesca, Alessio, Feruccio & the rest! Amazing stay indeed ❤️ Grazie mille Hotel no logo!

Solid no-frills hotel near Brignole station

Location in newer part of town, just a few minute walk from the Brignole train station, and near many cafes and restaurants. Piazza de Ferrari is about 10min walk away.
Hotel not too fancy but covers the basics and is away from major traffic so fairly quiet. However, the walls are paper thin - it's literally like cardboard, unless you make noise yourself you can't avoid listening to neighbours' phone calls..

Room not very good, put opposite cleaning cupboard and could hear everything neighbour's were doing. Bed sheets creased very badly and bed had marks on it. Understand hotel is 2 star but these things should be better at the very least

very nice budget place. Comfy and clean rooms, just a stroll from Genoa central railway station /Metro Line. Room comes with a balcony! 3 bigger supermarkets within 10 minute-walk reachable. No kitchen but seating area & a microwave to use. Free drinking water dispenser. Local Pizzeria just across the hotel. Very helpful staff!! Thank You!

The check in took approx. 10 minutes which is rather long for such a small hotel. There's an extremely small elevator in the hotel. If you enter it with one bigger suitcase, it becomes difficult for another person to come inside. Our room was on the 3rd floor. The room was clean but small. There were no cups nor kettle, no safe. There was a small TV but with channels in Italian only. We couldn't use the balcony as there was not enough space to open the balcony door. The room was also noisy; we could very easily hear our neighbors talking. The wifi connection was OK. We did not buy breakfast at the hotel.

We stayed there four nights in September. The hotel is conveniently located 5 minutes from Brignole railway station and 10-15 minutes from Piazza Ferrari and historical center.
Lots of restaurants around, supermarket and the oriental market nearby , access,on via Galata.

It was a good stay a Genoa, the room was clean there was soap and air conditionner was working well. It's a 15-20 mins walk to the train station but otherwise it's close to most attractions.

The only thing is that the A/C was centrally controlled so we couldn't adjust it except through the reception.

The room is not particularly grand but it's good enough.

Nice hotel in a great location. 10mins from the old town. 5mins from the train station. On a fun little street with lots of shops but little noise in the hotel room. Staff very helpful. Breakfast was decent. Microwave and toaster available in dining area for those who required it. Rooms not massive but certainly big enough for us. Would stay again!

Great Stop to get to know the real Italy !!!!

We had a good experience at Genoa and at the Hotel. Perhaps not too EZ to get there in car at the beginning but then after a day walking around we realize the location was great, very close to train station to go to 5 Terra (a must see place). Shopping, Eating, Sight Seeing all at walking distance. Friendly staff too. Very nice and Great Value too. Pizza at next door was Outstanding and parking for our car very convenient too. GREAT VALUE AGAIN !!!

A comfortable night!

Our room was clean and well presented. We had an extremely comfortable nights stay. There is no tea/coffee facilities in the room but we didn't mind as we were only staying the one night. The breakfast area is lovely and bright as it has a lot of natural light. The decor is simple but affective. At 4.50 euro per person, breakfast is extremely good value. The staff are very helpful - thanks very much for the travel directions Elisa. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

GENOVA here we come again, the second time around.

Great location close to train station, old town and lots of shopping and museums. Easy check in and check out. Let us check in at 9:30 am which gave us the whole day to explore the city with ease. They even will store your luggage in your room is not ready.
