I was welcomed to the light and attractive lobby by friendly staff who checked me in even though I was early, they also helped me with booking a table for dinner when the automated system wasn't working . My room has a sea view and was very clean, fresh and spacious with a bath overlooking the same view from the bathroom.
I had dinner in Seating the onsite restaurant, this was good prompt but not rushed service and a small number of freshly prepared dishes. Also a short but good wine list.
The breakfast had lots of choice and tables were cleared quickly.
My colleague and I were able to work in the lobby and when the bar was closed tea coffee and cold drinks were available self service.
This hotel is in a great spot, near to the airport but alongside the harbour and near to the aquarium so it feels like a holiday as well as a very nice business hotel.

Room was clean and relaxing, reception staff was super helpful, and friendly. Checking in early was a bit frustrating, their system tried to send me to a page to pay several times. I called to talk with them about it, and they got me all settled with what I needed over the phone!

If you rent a car you will need to pay for parking. If it's a short time, you will just need to download an app called easypark.

A lot of places in Copenhagen will require payment for parking, though.

One remark might be although I did not request cleaning during the stay I did expect top ups of Coffee and fresh cups etc this did not happen so maybe best have the room cleaned daily to make sure thos ahppens.

Easy online check in and our room was ready when we got there. We were only staying as had a layover so wanted somewhere close to the airport. It’s a 15 min walk or 5 min taxi so the location was perfect. The room was clean and modern, the shower was amazing! We didn’t eat there as had to leave early to catch our flight. You need to book for the hotels free airport shuttle though which we weren’t aware of so we got a taxi instead. Some info on the shuttle times/booking would be useful and I didn’t think to ask about it when we arrived.

Amazing room. Poor WiFi, tv wasn’t compatible with Netflix, spa was overpriced and thus empty, but the sky bar was amazing. Can’t reserve shuttle for pick up at airport as they only do it via telephone which isn’t helpful for int’l travelers

We picked this hotel because of the shuttle. We contacted the hotel with our flight details to book it but never heard back. We waited for the shuttle at the airport for 30 minutes in the cold and ended up taking a Uber. Same thing to get back to the hotel the day after - no shuttle available for our time slot.
Our room wasn't ready so we had to wait another 20 minutes for the maid to make the bed. Finally, the clerk used a rather aggressive approach to sell us a breakfast supplement. Overall poor experience and additional cost because of commute to and from the airport.

After a 35min + que time for the reception, the room provided was not clear. Underwear and socks from previous guests were found in the room.
We were provided with a new room without any apology or support in moving room etc.
The new room provided had a dirty bathroom with lots of hair stuck in the drain filter in the shower.
Wifi was very weak/ not working in the room, but strong in the reception.
We forgot my daughter's teddy in the room at check out and contacted the hotel a few hours later the following day where the hotel claimed the teddy was not found and did not put any effort into locating it and did not call back after additional search, as promised.
I cannot recommend this and I will never stay there again. There are lots of great hotels in Copenhagen. Go elsewhere. This hotel seems to be satisfied relying on business from delayed flights and not providing decent customer service.

There was misrepresentation regarding the shuttle service to and from the airport. Shuttle service should be continuous and should accommodate guests. We were a party of six, 3 adults and 3 children. We had two rooms and were not able to use the shuttle. We spent over $50 on Uber from and to the airport. This expense should not have occurred.

The room is very dark. They say it’s an eco friendly hotel so the rooms seem to have only 50% of the normal light power. There are no phones in the rooms for the same reason. The bathroom is good sized and well lit! The breakfast is mediocre. The scrambled eggs aren’t tasty (tetra pack quality). The hotel doesn’t prepare omelette. The baked beans are the healthy version with pinto and cannellini beans. No tomato sauce. The consistency resembles bean paste. I only mention this for English families with fussy eaters. The waffle station is great. They have lots of different teas (no peppermint tea), plant based milk, really good bread if you like proper seeded bread. After the third day the breakfast got boring though. We were a family of four staying in the family room. It is kind of tight. The sofa bed must have been horrible according to my son and husband. The sofa-bed was the closest to the window and they both could feel a draft from the window and were cold. You couldn’t adjust the temperature in the room. There is no closet for your clothes. Just a clothes rail with six hangers.
It’s not the best hotel we’ve stayed at and we probably won’t return. If we stayed for two nights I probably wouldn’t have remarked on anything. We stayed five nights.
Staff is friendly and professional. The hotel is a ten minute walk from the metro station which was convenient.

Airport shuttle was not available due to driver absence. Front desk had a taxi waiting for us supposedly at their expense. When we arrived at the airport the taxi driver demanded payment stating no arrangement was for the hotel to pay. No voucher was provided by the hotel staff to give to the driver. Definitely will not stay at this hotel chain in the future.

There is no phone, no coffee, no microwave, no mini refrigerator for my medicine .Worst of all, the guest cannot control the thermostat in their room. The Scandic hotel had it set at the hotel desired temperature. Not acceptable as I had to open and close windows several time during the night. NOT A GOOD NIGHT SLEEP for me .Paid $340 per night.

We booked this hotel because it was close to the airport. As usual they are a little more to stay around an airport. This one came with no extras. Not even coffee. If you wanted a coffee you had to pay more. I feel we would not stay here again.

Perfectly convenient for a stop over on route to our next destination. Walking distant from airport 15 mins. 8 mins walk to kastrup station into the city. Rooms are spacious and quiet. Looking out onto the water and from the restaurant at breakfast you can see planes coming in and a wonderful sunset or sunrise. Breakfast was amazing. Great variety both hot and cold and loved the do it yourself waffles making too! One let down was the spa £34 each and half the facilities were not working. The steam room and snow machine. Still a very nice pool and sauna space but we should have been informed and offered a reduced crate for half the facilities they advertised. Over all a great experience. I’ve stayed here three times now.

I like the design of the room.
I dislike to pay for the poor quality of the service at the front desk: rooms are not having telephones anymore and front desk is ignoring the calls of the client, which are made with roaming charges.
The front desk is unreachable, tv in the room was not working, front desk are not professional: put me on hold for the extended time - while being on hold I went from the room 534 to the reception, Teresa at the time was serving other client and then she finished, she invited to serve another client ignoring my call. That is then I asked why both receptionists are ignoring my call which i was still placed on hold. I was asked to stand in the line, at the same time I pointed to them , that I am waiting for quite a time on the phone and that I am already in the line via telephone. I was ignored, I was told by another receptionist that I am rude; I asked to speak to manager, but manager already left ant won’t be at work till Monday. Jill - another receptionist- was over talking me , escalating the conflict, blaming me and when she came to the room yelled at me and threatened to take me out of hotel … I had my husband on the phone through the FB messenger and camera on…he was witnessing Jill’s unprofessional and inappropriate and disrespectful behavior towards me. As soon as I pointed to Jill that my husband is witnessing her yelling and threats towards dislike

Second time staying at scandic strandpark and I absolutely love the convenient location to airport and the city and transport links are just amazing. Clean and fresh rooms and hotel in general. The skybar is perfect for chilling in the evening and watching the sun go down across the water. Watch plans land and of course get a nice beverage. Breakfast is delicious. We will continue to visit this hotel and give it a full 5 star rating.

Disappointed this time with Scandic CPH

Having stayed at this hotel several times in past 3 years and always been happy, we were disappointed this time to find the cost had increased significantly. It felt like staff wanted extra money for standard services. Breakfast is no longer included and a premium is payable for choosing to have it on the day. Check in is not allowed until 4.00 pm. Arriving 90 mins early, direct from airport, we were told our room was ready but we could not check in without paying 26 euros extra. At 4.00 pm the queue at reception to check in was long and slow which was unnecessary if guests could be able to check in a little earlier for free. This creates a bad first impression. Every time we passed reception during the evenings, there was always a long queue. Rooms are not cleaned or topped up without prior booking without clear communication of this and even then basic amenities were not replaced or beds tidied. No extra pillows were in the room and facilities felt too basic for the high cost especially as we had paid for a more superior room. As it was hot, we had the window open but it was still hot and very noisy with planes, cars and wind which disturbed our night. This was surprising as it is in such a quiet location. Overall, we were disappointed and will look for a different hotel when staying in this area again in future.

We stayed here 14 days July/August 2025. Ukrainian receptionist noticed our long stay so she made sure we got a room with seaview on 11th floor. Awesome. Breakfast at Scandic hotels are awesome. This didn’t disappoint. Be aware many patrons come around 9 so a hint is to come before or after. Hotel is close to CPH airport and hotel offers shuttle service back and forth (pick up drop off in front of Terminal 2) but must be booked on website in advance (easy). It’s a 8-10min walk to Kastrup Metro station and you are at the Copenhagen city center in 10-15min. There’s a nice bar on the top floor with nice views. Only negative is the dinner menu that wasn’t overwhelming but expensive. There are a few cafes and restaurants nearby but not many. Havne Hytten is an affordable diner/fastfood alternative. There’s a Netto supermarket 10min away where you can stock up if needed. I can recommend Scandic and I would return.

I can't give this hotel any ratings as I didn't get to stay there. I made a mistake with my booking dates and tried to correct them immediately, but as I had selected the non-refundable option the hotel was unwilling to budge. I think a bit of leeway to correct a genuine error would be charitable - it would have cost them nothing just to alter the dates, but I won't be using this chain again.

Rooms were good but in summer Duvets are not needed and just opening window doesn’t help with sleep. Limited number of fans available.
Tried to book a massage but couldn’t find any openings so not sure how many people can be accommodated in a day.
Food at Seating restaurant was substandard but breakfast was good.

It is close to the airport. The metro is a five minute walk away so quite easy to hop over to the airport or head into the city. Close to the aquarium. Nice water views. Nice bathroom in room. They have an airport shuttle but it fills up so book in advance.

The staff have a culture problem. My colleague and I are management scholars and consultants. We do not expect perfect but this place has not hired the best people. My colleague was treated as if she was stupid at check-in because she was one person but the booking was for two. She had thought her husband would join her, etc. They have a pool but I need to pay for a wellness experience and reserve a place when all I want is to avoid deep vein thrombosis by swimming or soaking in the pool, and ease sore muscles. You need to go downstairs to get coffee. I began to work after midnight to get back on Australia time. There is little or no room service. We went to the restaurant. It was empty. The guy carried on about needing a booking as he expected 700 people. But then he decided he had tables at 6pm that would be free for at least 2 hours. When I met my friend for breakfast as we were leaving to go to different countries, I got followed around as if I was some random off the street, not looking to sit with my friend. They had no ability to serve me coffee while she had a full breakfast. I went downstairs to get coffee. I could see the staff grouping to talk about how silly we were to want to say goodbye to each other and not do what they expected of well behaved customers. The selection in the shop is poor. I could not buy mouth wash, etc. In short, the Scandic and staff want to come across as 5-star level and exclusive but came across as 3-star. Please invest in training.
