Charming hotel in the heart of Rouen. Minutes away by walking from the cathedral, the river Seine, shops and restaurants. My room spacious, clean, and included a balcony with amazing views of the Seine river and the cathedral. Breakfast was delicious and highly recommended so you can maximize the crowd free early morning exploration.

Staff was very empathetic to my tardiness in checking in due to missing a connecting train from Paris and stayed late to check me in. Very much appreciated and I am definitely looking forward to staying at The Originals hotel again in the future.

1/2 block from the Seine River in a highly walkable lovely city. Close to the historic medieval heart.
Do not miss the opportunity to stop at the Bacchus bar which is 1/2 towards the river. Excellent charcuterie and wine.
The hotel is small, quiet and very accommodating.

Hotel is clean and modern. Family suit consists of two separate rooms, one with a queen size bed the other, a double. Both with bathrooms. Linkage between them a bit awkward as both doors are sprung-loaded ‘main doors’ which continuously try to close.

Overall the hotel is clean and modern fitted and the staff friendly. No AC made the stay rather too hot and stuffy. We resorted to opening the window later in the night which helped a bit as wasn’t too loud outside.

Very good location right in the heart of things. Reception friendly and obliging. Don't be fooled by claims of parking... 15 euros for 24 hours a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Not at all disability friendly.

Good for budget travlers

This is a small, old hotel 2 short blocks from Cathedral. Area in transition.
My room had corner windows on 1st floor...yeah. Daughters room on 5th had been renovated with fresh color. She did not like my old red and dark gray!
You get what you pay for. Shower over high side tub. Plenty hot water and pressure. Dried my loungerie on the radiator...no hot towel rack.
Stored luggage a few hours at front desk after check out. Thanks.

Nice property clean and friendly staff. In good location walking distance to lots of restaurants. Only complaint is very noisy and very loud bar on corner across the street people out drinking and loud until 4AM! So did not get much sleep. Unfortunately the hotel has no control over what happens outside of the hotel. But all in all a nice place.

Location, location, location.....right in the centre, close to cathedral, very friendly and helpful staff, spoke good English. Only issue is the heat, no aircon at property (and not advertised as having it so i should have been aware) but the room retained so much heat it was tricky to sleep. If you are visiting outside of high temperature season then would recomend.

After getting settled in my room I went to the bathroom and found the toilet clogged with, you know, inside. I complained about it at the reception and this very nice lady transferred me to another room, which was a little bit better. The overall cleansing of the whole place is very undesirable. The reception closes at 9 pm. One day I came back to my room around 8 pm and my electronic key didn't work. I had to walk down 3 stores after a long day walking, to complain and the nice lady gave me another key... mmm... not pleassant.

The staff was nice and this is the only positive thing about the hotel. The location is good but the hotel by itself is terrible... no air conditioning...no elevator small room with no closets... pple streaming on roads until 3:00am and u can t sleep bcoz of the voice getting to the room... the bathroom is terrible and not working properly

I chose the hotel because of location. I nailed it!!!
My stay would be very short and I wanted to be very close to all points that mattered to me. It was the best choice. There is no elevator, which to me was perfect as I had very light luggage and I do not matter climbing stairs. Good choices at breakfast buffet. I walked to train station ( not too close, but with light luggage was very easy)

We booked one room and got two for the price because they are small. They were conjoined and private - with two bathrooms as well. Nice quiet place with a breakfast that is well worth the money for what you usually get in this part of Europe. It was just a quick stopover between Paris and the Normandy coast, but nice and a good value.

The hotel staff were SO lovely and helpful. Unfortunately I had a stomach bug and they let us leave the room a little late and generally helped my husband. The last time we stayed in the hotel was 2011, it's been a little updated since, some rooms are better than others. Overall the beds are comfy, it's quite clean but the only thing I'd change would be the pillows. Mine was like a pancake. Other than that they were great.

No lift and don't expect help from the staff. Room was what I would call one step up from a hostel. Very sparse, few outlets, miniscule bathroom that reminded me of a cruise ship or dorm room. Couldn't turn in the shower without bumping the controls.

Very basic hotel which did the job.

We were looking for a stopover hotel on the way back from Lyon, in a central location, for a reasonable cost and this fitted the bill.

There is no AC in the room so we had to sleep with the window open which was not a problem.

If you are not after anything flash then this hotel is ptetty good.

Cheap, but not value for money.

We stayed here only one night on our way through Rouen, so were just looking for a simple inexpensive stopover.
The rooms are very basic as expected but the bed and linen was sub standard...sheets were almost thread bare. The bathroom was generally clean but seemed to have had a quick wipe down and needed a scrub!
Location was accessible but generally dingy.
Staff very friendly but overall would not recommend this place Even as a cheap and cheerful stopover, we didn't think it was value for money.

Perfect locale!

I was in Rouen for the Joan of Arc festival and this hotel was perfectly situated! Friendly staff who gave me a map and found out festival details on the internet was a good start. My bedroom had a superb view of Rouen Cathedral and was comfortable with a nice hot ensuite shower. Breakfast was reasonably priced and set you up for the day. All in all a great little hotel within a two minute walk of the Cathedral so perfectly situated!

We had such an amazing stay at this hotel. It is in a perfect location. Walking distance to the Church, and a 10 minute walk to the restaurants and shopping. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We left a suit jacket in the closet and they held it for us to pick up the next day after we had left.

The room is small, but we were prepared for that. The bathroom had a toilet that was a little bit higher that normal.... Our feet dangled from it (and were 5'8\" and 6') and were concerned it might just fall off the wall. But it was fine.

The only downfall is there is no air conditioning units in the room. We were lucky to have great weather that wasn't too warm and we slept with the windows all open. We were woken up in the middle of the night from a car with extremely loud music and bass, which was frustrating. Otherwise we had a great stay.

Not worth the extra money!

Decided to treat ourselves on or way back home so went for a more expensive hotel than normal. Was very disappointed and won't do it again. Paid €94 for a comfort room (full price €148) which was nearly twice what we've often paid at the local budget Comfort hotel.
The room was bigger than budget hotel but no more comfy. There was a seating area with two chairs and a table but one of the chairs was wobbly and creaky. The net curtains at the window were dirty and grey. The secondary glazing didn't do much for sound insulation, but made it hard to get fresh air into the room. The room generally looked tired and the shower was only just acceptable. The room was advertised with an iPod dock for playing music - but it was the old type 30 pin adapter so not much use.
Won't use Inter Hotel again and will go for more budget brands in future. We've always have good, clean comfy - if small - rooms with good showers in Comfort hotels and Campanile.
Breakfast was very pricy too at €12 each!

Beds were rock hard, but a clean place to sleep!!

This hotel is ideally located in the center of rouen. There isn't a car park but but the cathedral carpark cost us €9.50 for the night, if your lucky enough you can park on the road outside infront of the hotel for free.
The staff are informative, and speak good English if your french Is limited like mine.
The room is very clean, plenty of towels were provided, but man I've never slept in a bed so hard in my life. My husband has back trouble anyway, so this made it worse, and for me who's doesn't get back ache I did after sleeping here. The shower was clean but not powerful at all, I think if youve got long thick hair it would have taken ages to wash the shampoo out!! Overall the cost of this hotel suited us, and it wanna clean dry place to sleep the night, but I wouldn't stay again.

Fantastic find with great staff!

Super easy to find, knowledgable staff, clean rooms, close to all the sites and shopping, and overall well kept building. We had a great experience here. The rooms were updated and clean. The concierge was incredably knowledgable on the area, welcoming, and gave us the inside scoop on some local dining hotspots. The bathrooms were spacious as well. Our room did not have the greatest view but there was plenty of light in the room. Would deffinently recommend this hotel to those staying in rouen.

European Rooms are small - Get used to it!

The Hotel is well situated in Rouen, though at first glance the area is a little run down. Rouen, like many places is fixing up the city, so it will catch up. They say they will put in an elevator soon, part of the law for handicapped persons, and will loose three rooms in doing so. They need a lift!

This hotel was not much to look at from the outside but the Conncierge at the front desk was TREMENDOUS! Told us about parking ( park at 7:00 pm and you can leave the car there till 9:00 am the next morning) Told us about the close neighborhoods and eating places and the Cathedral which was very close and had a light \"show\" late in the evening. Just all around great service. The room was a bit crowded for 4 people but we managed. It was a little dated but clean

This is my second time to stay in this hotel. The rooms have been refreshed which is nice but there is no air conditioning. It was very hot and opening the windows meant you had to endure the street noise which was loud and continued until 1 o'clock each night. Other guests were inconsiderate and let the doors bang closed even when coming in to their rooms in the middle of the night. The towels provided are only hand towels. Larger towels are needed.

Very disappointing. The 2 rooms we booked were tiny and so, so basic. The net curtains were filthy. The pillows were the size of postage stamps and it was generally a very 'worn out and tired' hotel.
For its position in an historic town we were very surprised! We upgraded at an extra cost but to be honest for a little more room there was no extra comfort.No lift in the hotel, ok but the phone in our room did not work and trying to communicate with my elderly mother's room was impossible - it was not the way we had planned to start our trip.
Staff, although obliging didn't really appreciate our comments.

Would definitely not return!

Hotel is in a rabbit warren of one way streets. When we got there staff were more than amiable. Room was clean, how ever a little dated. The rooms are far to warm at night. We paid for a breakfast, however I wouldn't pay again, there is not a lot of choice for the price. The location of the hotel is brilliant, you are a minutes walk from the cathedral and the city centre. Rouen is beautiful.

The hotel is in a great location minutes from the cathedral and city centre. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The room was a bit dated and needs to be modernised.

We arrived after midnight and left fairly early the next day but the staff were helpful - even when we woke them up - at getting up settled. Would have been easier if they had a call button right at the hotel as we had to find a phone (no cell with us) and someone who spoke English but doubt too many people arrive this late and have this problem. Room was clean and comfortable and breakfast (an extra cost but convenient for us) was very complete including eggs (cook your own to order) , fruit, pastries and drinks. The staff gave us directions to nearby cathedral and farmers market - the only sites we had time for and both VERY convenient to the hotel.

Weekend in Rouen

I found this hotel to be clean, easy to get around in, nothing confusing or mixed up (as some economy hotels are). Spotless clean and very courteous staff. Great breakfast ready on time. The hotel is just outside the Cathedral center and located in a good area. The Cathedral bell sounds great and is visible from the staircase. Room, bed, bathroom all new and fresh. No English speaking TV stations, but I was there to practice French so that didn't matter. A great experience that made my Rouen visit a fine memory. Only thing to note (which has nothing to do with the hotel) is a club across the street that plays loud music 11pm - 1am.

We were not happy with this hotel and therefore left a day early. Our main concern was that there was little air circulation and no air condition, only a fan, that made an annoying noise, and if we opened the window there was a lot of noise from the street. Even though we were not in Rouen during a particularly hot time, the room was extremely warm. The hotel room only had basic facilities, no fridge or ironing board. There was no elevator in the hotel. The breakfast however was fine and the hotel was centrally located.

La chambre etait très propre .
Mais la VMC était un peu bruyante et la vue de notre fenetre donnait sur des toits de batiments avec des hubots .
Le plus embêtant était le stationnement, aucune place de réservé pour l'hôtel, ce qui nous permettrait au moins de decharger nos bagages en toute tranquillité.
Petit dejeuner tres correct .
L'accueil du matin était tres sympathique .
Un peu moins la veille à l'arrivée.

Un matelas ressort complètement defonssé...on sent bien les ressorts: bon mal au dos garantie. Un prix du petit déjeuner qui passe soudain de 10 a 12 € au moment du départ sans explications ! C est exorbitant et prendre les touristes pour des boîtes a fric c est pas normal. Pour le petit déjeuner ne regardez pas de près la vaisselle, un manque de propreté évident. C était lamentable.

Ogni volta che vado a Rouen soggiorno in questa struttura.

Ottimo 'value for money'. Semplice e senza fronzoli, ma molto accogliente. Il personale molto gentile.

Importante da sapere che non c'é ascensore per cui se si hanno problemi di deambulazione non è il posto adatto.

Complessivamente lo trovo molto accogliente e ci tornerò ogni qualvoltà andrò a Rouen

Ristrutturato e pulito. La camera era piccola e povera nell'arredamento. Il bagno era nuovo. Mancano l'ascensore e il condizionatore, ma non è tollerabile che la struttura chiuda alle 22 e per entrare dopo quell'ora si debba contattare un numero di cellulare.

快適でした

駅から徒歩15分ぐらい。スーツケースを引っ張りながらの許容範囲です。お部屋は、ただ寝るだけのコンパクトサイズでしたが、窓からカテドラルが見え、とてもラッキーでした。清掃もきちんとされていて、シャワーも熱いお湯が出て水圧も問題ありません。WIFiは非常に弱く、不便さを感じました。エレベーターがない建物です。きちんと予約サイトに記載されていましたので、予約の段階で承知していましたが、大きいスーツケースを上げ下げするのは、思ったより大変でした。若くない方は要注意です。チェックアウト後も荷物を預かっていただき助かりました。フロントの方もいつも親切です。

hotel banal

séjour de 3 nuit pour le travail : le personnel d'accueil est sympathique.
Accès en voiture difficile ne disposant pas d'une place \"arrêt minute\" pour déposer sa valise et prendre sa clé.
Hotel très mal insonorisé, on entend tout ce qui se passe d'une chambre à l'autre.
Ma chambre était très encombré/exiguë car trop petite pour recevoir un lit double.
J'avais sortie 2 serviettes de bain que j'ai utilisé, le personnel d'entretien (dès le premier passage) à remis l'une des deux serviette dans le tiroir de service de la SDB. Je me suis alors demandé si moi-même, en prenant les premières serviettes, celle-ci étaient propres.
Les draps avait une odeur de linge ayant mal séchés.
La démarche écologique et de rationalisation des petits déjeuner n'a rien de mieux ou de novateur que dans d'autres chaines d'hotel. Dans tous les hotels il es demandé si l'on prend un petit déjeuner...
La décoration de la chambre est mignonne, se voulant vintage, mais fait plutot \"bricolage\" avec un mobilier qui semble ne pas être adapté en therme de solidité pour un hotel mais plutot pour un habitat privé.
Le prix de l'ensemble me parais trop élevé.

Excellent emplacement au centre ville, stationnement à proximité ! Seules inconvénients, il n'y a pas de climatisation ni de réfrigérateur dans la chambre. Les matelas sont un peut dure mais ok pour une nuit.
