I have never left a bad hotel review but have to on this one. I killed a total of 6 roaches in my room over a 2 night stay. One was under my pillow so I barely slept during my stay. Someone had a dog 2 rooms down that also didnt help and the sound proofing was just not there, heard everthing everwhere all the time. Disappointing stay.

The room is a smoking room. I was not told I was being given a smoking room. I do not smoke.The room reeks of cigarettes, I raised the issue with the front desk and was told that all the other rooms were taken, and if I wanted to, they could send up some air freshener. To be fair, the person I spoke to at the desk, kind enough, but offered no solution. I’m sleeping with my clothes in the refrigerator so that they don’t stink in the morning.

The property would be perfect had it not been for the roaches, I saw one the first night so I left all my things in the car, slept with the lights on. Maintenance came and sprayed, and I sprayed 2 days after, and they sprayed again...didn't see anymore the rest of my stay, other than that, the room and property was really good (a bit old) but clean, refrigerator worked really well. I didn't use the stove top, but microwave was clean. Good area, like 5 minute drive from lots of stores!

Room smelled like smoke, walls was dirty I had to buy air wick room refreshers to get smell out and clean walls to make presentable. Upon my arrival I also found a bug in bed. I had to change covers and examine my bed and room. After my stay they charged my debit card for two extra days that I did not stay. Currently in a dispute to get money back from unauthorized transaction. This place also has strict rules, tell you your car will get towed if you don’t have a paper in window, sign in and out guest. Also quiet time was 10pm wanted me to report any noise. I signed the most paper work I ever had to sign just to stay at a hotel with woodsprings suites.

When I arrived at 9:30 pm, there was nobody in the office to check me in. They have a phone to dial 500 if it is after hours. I could hear the phone ringing in the office but nobody had forwarded the call from the after hours phone. I had to have some other people that stayed there go and get the person to come and check me in. The woman that finally did show up gave me a song and dance about how the phone system had been down since 4 that afternoon. The phone was ringing in the office...so it was a bunch of hogwash. Won't stay there again.

My son had stayed here in the past. The hotel itself is OK and recently remodeled. However, we rented a room for 2 weeks with confirmation, and were told when we got there that they were unable to rent to him. No real explanation, no advance notice. We were left scrambling for somewhere for him to stay. The hotel had his phone number, mine, and his father's. He was listed as the person staying there on the reservation. But they let us show up with 2 weeks of frozen food and other groceries, not knowing we were not going to have a room. It was extremely frustrating.

I arrived around 11:00 to check in, and I had to call to a room, and wait for someone to let me in and check me in. While getting checked in, there were many other people behind the counter including a dog. They were very unprofessional. Also, I got charged on Expedia then they charged me again at the hotel. They place misleading ads and say there are smoking rooms then once they got you in the room then they try to say it’s non smoking room so they can charge you extra 250 bucks. I’m sure it’s a scheme the rude manager came up with so he can pocket the money. They was supposed to refund my money because I chose to leave because I wanted smoking room. The floor looked as if it wasn't swept. So I had to sweep and mop the floor. The heater didn't work but they quickly fixed it by replacing the unit. One of the burners on the stove did not work, which never got fixed. I have stayed at this hotel many times and this was the first time i have had a room where everything wasn't working properly.

Had a pretty rough check-in experience. Had to wait for more than 30 minutes in a man trap vestibule until the night manager who was presumed to be on site opened the metal gate and checked us in. Tried to checkout the following morning but there was a line of six people with one arguing at length about details of their bill. We left the keys and hit the road. Hotel is clean but rooms are spartan. Bed was miserably uncomfortable. I'm not terribly picky but can't recommend this property. Lots of yelling and swearing in the hallways over what appeared to be a business dispute about who was keeping the cash.

Great location. Great Price. We were fine with the stay. We had full kitchen. No coffee pot, no hair dryer. To each their own with “recreational” lifestyle but if you have children and you don’t want to explain the skunk smell. This is not the stay for you. Just trying to be honest for others. We will stay again because of cleanliness, location and price. We will bring our own coffee pot.. ( kids running up and down hall was a tad bit annoying ). If you don’t mind wearing earplugs that shouldn’t bother you or the noisy PTAC unit in wall......

Cockroaches. Took two hours to check in after desk clerk cancelled the reservation I paid for through expedia, keeping the one I had made earlier to reserve the room and pay at the hotel ( I paid with expedia to get a cheaper deal, but was ultimately charged $395 for what should have been much less). The room had dirt on the floor and in the kitchen sink. One cockroach was on the pillow. Kicked out after five days with two days remaining of a one week stay because was too slow letting them in to spray ( I was sleeping in bed and needed to get dressed and put my luggage in garbage bags to keep from smelling from any spray). When I asked for clarity why I was being forced out, the manager told me I had to leave and called the police.

This place was awful!! The rooms were not clean when checking in. The lady at the front did not know how to program the key cards so I was given a master card that opened any room, other people also had them because someone walked in my room one day when I was there. You can smell the smoke throughout the entire building. There are people that approach you asking if you want to purchase drugs. The female staff offer their \"personal services\" if you know what I mean. I would never stay at this location again

I was not pleased, when I got to my room, later that night and didn’t have any towels at all. I when down and the desk was closed, so I called and was on hold for about ten minutes, had to wait for help and when she got there she said the towels had to be dried, so I said bring them to my room, no body came. So when I wake up Sunday, I went down, nobody was at the desk but I left a note, nobody came. I had to go back down stairs & still had to wait while she took the towels out the dryer and folded them. State of the room was not great. The bed nearly collapsed as soon as I sat on it and I am by no means heavy set in the least. Drains were all blocked up and extremely slow draining. Kitchenette surfaces were grimy and peeling laminate.

The whole building smells of cigarette smoke, it comes through the exhaust fan in the bathroom and you can smell it in the hallways. It takes forever to get help at the front desk. When you do ask someone for something like toilet paper or towels, it takes hours if not days to get it

People above us were literally moving furniture or sonething all night the first 2 nights. So we got no sleep at all. It was a weekend and at night no staff on the property to take care of it. Appears to be a half-way house for addicts and displaced families. Dogs barking and children screaming in the hallways. Seems of urine and dead fish. Rooms are filthy. Asked for a refund on check-in and front desk manager said she would process it but Hotels.com denied it. Go to the hotel after it show up on Hotels.com to avoid the fees and get a cheaper rate in most cases.

So me and a friend booked a room a week and a half in advance.. then drove 7 1/2 hours to get there for the weekend to find out they had overbooked 17 people for that day and had no rooms left available. Not only were we tired from the drive down but to finally arrive at our destination and then have to find another hotel at 9pm at night was beyond disappointing. I will never book from this site or that hotel ever again.

NO HUMAN CONTACT-
Don't stay if you expect to be greeted by an actual person. I waited 15 mins. for a person to come to the front desk to check me in and I could not get a live person on the phone to be checked out. I was home by the time the hotel realized I had already checked out. The hallways were dirty the elevator dirty cause they only clean every 14 days. The hotel was outdated which I was use to but not being able to get a person on the phone is my biggest issue. The first time ever in life I was not able to get a hotel rep. on any type of phone.
