Heading up to our room the elevator smelled like non cigarette smoke, then once we got on our floor it was even stronger. So on that side of things I wasn’t happy to have that be the first impression. Room was nice, just dry/stuffy feeling then our Ac/Heat unit didn’t work right. Had planned on staying there again when we come back in December but not so sure about it now.

Before arriving for my stay Aug 29-31, my account was charged for the 1st night 221.67 before check-in. Then upon arriving at this hotel, the my card was processed again for the full amount, plus the 100 security deposit for a hold on the funds 544.34 08.29.25. I had to request 221.67 1st night, be refund credit. At the time of check-out Aug 31st my card was again processed for 544.34, total amount of the stay and 100 security deposit, so over 1088.00 funds were on hold in my account. I have documentation of these transactions. And my charges 444.34 hit my account to complete my stay. I will never stay at this hotel, as no one could answer my questions or explain why 2 separate debit card holds had to be processed.

I honestly don’t know where to start when I checked in my reservation was not there so I had to pay $20 more for that day. I immediately go in and the room smells like dog piss. I go in finally lay down after a long trip and there are ink stains on the comforter of the bed. Wake up the breakfast was piss poor go back to my room to try and do laps in the pool that was said to open at nine, but I had to go find someone to open it 30 minutes later than nine so I go back to my room after swimming in the pool that had hair stuck in the drain at the bottom Disgusting… showered, getting ready to leave to go iron my clothes and there’s not a ironing board available so I ironed my clothes on the ground with the towel. It is 11:10 and housekeeping comes and knocks on the door, I tell them I am still changing, and they decided to let themselves in after I let them know that I was changing and not dressed anyways checked out asked the front desk, why they did not let me know that there was a refundable deposit which is fine cause I’ve stayed in hotels before but it’s nice to be let know before a $200 charges on my card anyways I usually stay in $200 plus hotels I will never come down to $100 motels ever again this hotel in Columbus, Ohio was one star at best. Enjoy your stay if you decide to stay here.

The hotel appeared to neglect real cleanliness. Looked as if it doesn’t get touched for months, the horrific smell as soon as we walked in our room was stomach turning and all together a horrible experience. The Air conditioning works off of the thermostat which was broken and the service desk attendants were not of any help. Our key cards would quit working almost every other time we used them and would have to keep going to the front desk to have them replaced, in which they all acted like we were bothering them. Look before you book!

We paid to stay at this hotel for the breakfast, and the pool. First day the pool was closed. Ok, next day the breakfast was not up to expectations. Then the elevator was out. There were a lot of stains on the mattress. I will never return.

The place was very unclean and the house keeping was cleaning the next door room and threw the sheets outside and was in front of our door. They should leave it in the room they are cleaning. Not in thw hall way.
The trash can in the hall way was filled to the max and water melon on the floor next to the trash can. It was Pouring out the trash can.
Down stairs there are ants all over the trash can crawling all over the can and walls. This was very gross. Third floor the walls are not clean and the elevator is very loud while door open and shutting it is squeaky. Does not feel safe. Coffee pot in our room is dirty. And the coffee is stale. The bed covers is old and threads are sticking out the bed spreading.
Please update this holtel facility it is very unsafe and I did not see one sanitizer station anywhere around the lobby.

The hotel itself looks well.
But walking the hallways you could hear everything from every room. Our comforter had yellow stains on the bottom of it and if you dont like morning light they dont have black out curtains.
I also asked for a extra pillow because the pillows are half the size of a regular one and they told me they couldnt help me with that.

Stayed one night. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was average with some decent selections. Hotel could use some deep cleaning and fresh paint. It wasn’t terrible but starting to show wear and tear. We had the two bedroom room with two king beds. We loved that option. The only major complaint is the room darkening curtains didn’t shut, only the inside sheer ones did. The parking lot light is very bright and shone right into the room. We used a hair clip to hold the curtains together and block out the light so we could go to sleep.

Discriminatory Practices and Poor Customer Svc

The hotel itself is decent with comfortable beds and spacious dwellings. However, the owners/managers of this establishment participate in discriminatory practices in terms of billing their customers. Prior to booking with them, I inquired about their security deposit and was given a fixed amount. When I arrived to check in, they attempted to put a hold on my card for 3 times as much under the guise of me being an out of state customer, which was untrue, as I had been living in the area since the previous month. I really wanted to stay another week, but when my husband and I inquired about how much the stay would be, the same manager who twice tried to charge my card with the higher deposit quoted a price that was 3 times more than was was quoted on multiple online sources. I decided to file a complaint on the hotel's corporate site, and the manager responded by having the check out crew knock on my door the day before my schedule check out and tell me I was supposed to check out today. In all my time of booking accommodations, I have never heard of an establishment discriminating on a deposit based on where one lives, and being deceptive about the practice over the phone.

Also, the hot water went out here in the middle of freezing outside temperatures, and the staff didn't even bother to notify the guests of the issue.

Overall, the place was clean and our room was cozy. My only concern was that in the bathroom, our toilet seat looked like it had been in a fire. Sort of melted. Other than the toilet seat the room was clean along with the fridge, etc. I would book here again but if the same toilet seat is in the next room; I would definitely change my mind.

Great experience. Felicia checked us in and was so friendly and welcoming and made the start to our weekend amazing. Not only was she sweet to myself, my mom and my puppy but I also witnessed the same kindness with other hotel guests. The room was clean and fully supplied which i was impressed with having stayed at multiple other hotels over the years visiting my mom. I always get a suite with a kitchenette. It was clean & stocked with all supplies which in the past i have seen some hotels been severely lacking in dishes & sometimes even linens. We had a great experience and i will be booking for my future stays. Thank you again to Felicia she deserves kudos.

It’s a little outdated. Elevator sounded old. Hallways were definitely dingy and smelled like cigarettes. Rooms were decent. You can tell it was outdated. The tub was a little old looking. The handle bar in the tub, there was a one inch hole near the hinges. I wouldn’t trust it to be safe if someone had use it, to get up. I liked that it was close to a lot of stores and eateries. Felt safe around the area.

We got an amazing price for a really nice suite room. This worked out great traveling with kids. However I wouldn’t wish my worst enemy to sleep in that pull out bed. So the kids just slept in bed with us.

Maybe I misread, but the free breakfast is pretty sub par. Waffles, breads, yogurt and cereal only. No hot food.

Also the drain to our tub wouldn’t stay open so we had to rig it with a straw, otherwise every shower was a bath.

The walls had cracks and some electrical outlet plates were not on the walls. The shower was old as well. I’m also not a fan of the price hikes they do when there are events in town.

Our air conditioner in the room would only blow warm air. I let the front desk know and they said they would send someone up to look at it. We had to leave for a concert and when we returned the A/C was still broken.

It also didn't look like anyone came to the room while we were out. I went back down to the desk to see if there was anything that could be done and was told no.

The temperature in the room was in the upper 80's for the entire stay. I feel the staff must have known about the issue prior to our arrival and sold the room anyway.

Get Your Act Together!

The door lock was defective, the air conditioner didn’t work, our 3rd floor room had ants and after five only the receptionist was there to address problems. She said she was ‘new’ and the next morning, when we repeated what was wrong with the room, the other receptionist said that other rooms on that floor had the same complaints.
The rooms were shopworn and the whole experience was substandard in comparison to what we paid for the room.

Sonic temple weekend, 5th time staying at this location. Starting to really shows signs of being worn down. We had ac issue first night but was repaired the next day. Breakfast was out of everything on Friday morning and then rest of week was your usual hotel breakfast but once was absolutely amazing.
Staff was good except for early morning maid service a lil too around 9am.
Will consider again next year but will explore other options
