I just stayed 3 nights for the Arnold Expo and let me tell you it was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. When we first walked in, the room smelled very fresh and looked very clean, not like other motel 6s I’ve been to. The staff was the friendliest it could be, the area seemed very safe, and our next door neighbor had a pet raccoon in the window! around great experience, Would very much recommend!👍

This Motel 6 (Columbus West) is quite run down and in major need of renovation. Cold air could be felt coming in from the windows and the old heater had a hard time keeping the room warm. It wasn’t a very quiet place - heater made weird noises and it sounded like wind howling all night but it wasn’t windy. There is no where to put coats/clothes (no dresser, no closet), the fitted sheet on the bed was stained (I had to change it myself) and there was hair on the towel and toilet. Yuk! The refrig didn’t work and the TV kept going dark. Not a pleasant experience.

This hotel is nothing like the pictures show in internet, everything looks old and dirty the swimming pool seems is been abandoned for years, there’s signs of no smoking everywhere but everybody smokes everywhere, the smells is disgusting, the parking lot is full of ruined cars seems like homeless lives in there, the first night when I came back there were cops in a room with yellow tape in the hall, I felt I was in a narco movie was so unpleasant stay I felt unsafe all the time. No shampoo or conditioner in the bathrooms not even the small ones, the carpets in the hallway looks like they are 100 years old, the price is very affordable but you get what you pay think twice I learned my lesson

The room was dirty to say the least. It had no kind of ventilation so it was very muggy even though it had AC. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom & the toilet was missing a piece off the back. The microwave looked like it has never been cleaned. Only half the lighting worked. The matresses are cheap & very uncomfortable. We booked because it had a pool only to find out after we got there that the pool was closed down permently. The walls are thin so you can hear everything going on in other rooms. All in all we will never ever book here again.

When we arrived, it took over 5 minutes for someone to come to the front desk. Then when she finally got to the desk, she said she needed to see if a room was ready. It was after 3pm, which is their stated check in time, but OK.
The elevator was being serviced and we were told we needed to take the stairs to the 3rd floor. Thank God the guy qorking on the elevator stopped us before we headed up the stairs. He said he fixed the problem.
Got settled in and in less than an hour we got a call saying that there was a leak in the room below us, so maintenance needed to come in to make the repairs while we were in the room or we could move to another room. My boyfriend was in the shower, so I said it would be a while before we could get our things together.
I asked what we would receive for the inconvenience. We were told a discount or a refund if we wanted to leave.
We were open to the discount and asked how much.
The front desk person said he didn't know, the owner would make the decision and we would see the discount on our folio the next day.
I didn’t find that sufficient given the situation, when I asked the agent if he could find out the discount amount he said he wasn't going to \"bother\" the owner with that question. So, we requested the refund, packed up and left the hotel, and expect to see a refund from Expedia in 3-5 business days.

The motel has horrible bee mattresses, they slide if you lean your back against the headboard. The curtains do not cover the windows properly and the sun brightens the room as soon as it raises. Housekeeping does not knock on your door if you have the do not disturb sign, but you can hear them every morning when the go from one side of the building with their cleaning cart.
