Room wasn’t ready so lots of waiting. Room was a bit dirty and very deteriorated. Entire hotel smelled of spicy ethnic food, which never seemed to dissipate and stung my nostrils for an entire day. Booked for 4 nights but left after only 1 night, since my nose couldn’t handle it anymore. Live and learn.

The room was clean. The facilities were clean. The pool heater was broke and the pool water was 56 degrees. The pool area didn't have heat. The majority of the food at breakfast was refilled when those items got low. The fruit was good quality. The sausage biscuits and gravy were not refilled and that was with an hour and a half left in the breakfast time period. The staff at the front desk was very welcoming, friendly, and offered the positives about staying on the property and local things to do. The morning breakfast staff did not communicate well at all.

In one word AWFUL. 3 of the 4 mornings of our stay no hot water to take a shower. Which might explain why the pool was cold as well. Speaking of the pool, we and another couple got chased from the pool because of an 11 year olds birthday party on Saturday night. Screaming and splashing and no supervision to be found. Toilet didnt always flush right but didnt see any reason to complain since staff just made excuses anyway regarding the lack the lack of hot water. First place I've ever stayed without an in room safe. Other than the breakfast the entire stay was a disappointment.

Not what I expected. Two BR/Bath suite.

Room was not very clean and there were holes in the door and shower. Seem to be newly renovated but just not kept up. The hotel didn’t have hot water so out one night layover turned into a nightmare. The rooms all share one elevator. Just wasn’t pleasant. The staff were rude and had zero cares to give about our situation. Hope their bad attitudes don’t take the already sliding down hill business into a full land slide.

The breakfast had a variety of things.The room was clean but, the toilet had trouble flushing.Sat. Night, we tried going swimming, and there were a bunch of kids unsupervised in the pool. And they were rowdy and unloud, and my four-year-old and two-year-old granddaughters didn't feel comfortable in the pool. Then, on Sunday morning, we were in the pool again and those same kids were back in the pool, unsupervised, splashing and making a lot of noise. And when we went to complain to the front desk, she said her hands were tied and there was nothing. She could do about it.

We were disappointed by issues with ants in our room and toilets didn’t work properly. Staff were helpful though. We requested to be moved. Ended up being exactly one floor below the old room. Saw a few ants there too but not as many. The toilet in this room didn’t work either. Carpets in the halls were dirty. Pool wasn’t that clean. Won’t stay there again. Short stay so we stayed only because we didn’t want to pack up everything again.

Phone in the room didnt work and had to use cell phone to call hotel number to get front desk, closet door was busted, hole in the bedroom door, had to call down for a plunger due to poor water pressure, shower head in the shower was so low that i had to crouch to rinse my hair (im 5'6\") and my husband about broke his back trying to rise his hair (he is 6'3\") along with the floor of the shower being SO slippery that i had to hold on or practically fell due to no grip on the bottom of the tub, only had 3 small trash cans in the room for kitchen, bedroom and bathroom, alarm was randomly going off as we were coming back from a late dinner (9pm) and we dont know how long it was going off, and pool was only open until 10pm.

The following morning there was an army of ants in and around a cup of juice. Mind you, I was on the third floor. I will start by saying the staff at this hotel is wonderful.
Everybody went out of their way to be welcoming and friendly.

Aside from that, if I compare my stay to other Staybridge properties I have been at, this one was subpar. One morning the breakfast was egg and sausage muffins, but the muffins were burnt. The building very much is showing its age. While the room was spacious and well equipped, but it was not clean. Specifically, there was visible dust and dirt in visible places, such as between the bed and nighstand, on the shelving in the bathroom, and in the kitchen between the fridge and counter.

There are other hotels in the area that are more updated and cleaner, and I'll be using those in the future.

The hotel itself was clean but our room felt well used. The couch cushions had stains on them. The ottoman looked to have a burn hole in it and the closet door in the bathroom was broke. Probably the worst thing was the lack of breakfast. We were there for an Ohio State game and wanted to grab something and go. We were told the breakfast person didn’t show up for work so there was very limited options. Very disappointing because when you plan on the hotel having breakfast and build that into your schedule it makes it hard to change plans last minute. Also an additional cost to get breakfast somewhere else.

Positives were it’s in a nice area and the common areas were nice. Probably not enough to stay there again though.

I check everything seemed fine up until my kids went to get a folk! To my amazing there was a crack pipe with rocks inside there! I went to the front desk ask if they cleaned the rooms they said yes. I said the folks to, they told me they put them in the washer mechine after each person! So I ask how you didn’t see a crack pipe with rocks inside! Nothing was done didn’t even get another room! Had the police come to remove it.

Gave us a handicap accessible room. Light for bathroom was outside bathroom and exhaust fan very loud. Husband got up before me but the light and fan noise woke me up. Also upon checkin had to ask for extra roll of toilet paper; the body wash for shower was outside shower and there was body lotion in shower. Couldn’t switch ourselves so I told front desk but it never got switched. Also tv in bedroom didn’t work. Told front desk and they never fixed during our stay. Also room was also not cleaned when we left for the day and we were out of room early as was meeting family. Overall not a great experience. Will not book again.

The staff were working incredibly hard and were kind. That was evident. However, this hotel is sorely understaffed and it shows. They need more help. Breakfast service was good, but you could tell the one person woeking breakfast was so overwhelmed
Other staff would pitch in and help, but it still wasn't enough.

Some of the linens were permanently stained and need to be thrown out. Some towels were torn. The carpets are stained down the hallways and staircases.

More staff need to be hired to keep the place up. Corporate should be ashamed to charge $175 a night in the condition it is in, and they should be ashamed of how overworked their employees are even within the traditional 9-5 model.

The room was very nice. The only two things that struck us a bit odd were that there were no ice machines. Later we discovered that there was an icemaker in the freezer in the room that had been stopped from making ice. So we had no way of getting ice until it made 5 ice cubes at a time. Also, we had a king suite with a pullout double bed. The only way to get to the bathroom was through the master bedroom. It was ok for us since it was just our teen daughter sleeping on the pullout but she was suspossed to bring her friend with her (but ended up not being able to come last minute) which would have been a bit awkward for her to go through our room when we were sleeping to use the bathrrom during the night if needed. Both of these things need to be info listed on the hotel listing and i think it would be helpful to have a note on the fridge as well, notifying of the ice maker in the fridge. It looks like your typical fridge with no dispenser on the outside so yoy would have no idea it was there unless you open the freezer.

We had a terrible service for our 3 night stay. There was some misunderstanding at the check-in and the employee at the front desk who was ombviosly alone and overwehlmed asked us if we wanted to cancel our reservation and find a place elsewhere!! The terrace was dirty and the fountain was a pond. The pool had no air conditioning. The breakfast was cheap : always scrambled eggs with one meat and frozen fruits. The staff was non-existent. No room service. And the room we had (109) was next to an exit and it was very noisy. The dishware was broken and the kitchen poorly equiped. Most of the laundry machines were broken.

The location was great for our trip. The staff was very friendly. The hotel was dirty. There are stains on the carpet and the sofa in the room we stayed in. A hole in the bedroom door. Clearly it has not been vacuumed in corners or under tables. The hallways were no different. The carpet in the hallway is sticky in spots. There is a large amount of fruit flies in the buffet area. The woman who served breakfast was super nice and I cant say enough about how pleasant she was but her shirt was filthy. And it was the same shirt all 5 days we were there, so I watched it get filthier each day. Her apron is even dirtier. The reason I didn't want to make a big deal about it during our stay is actually because the staff was great. I guess i should have said something directly to the management though to ensure that my observations are meant to be constructive. My family has had great experiences at Staybidges so that is why it was suprising how dirty this one is.

The front desk person was “interrupted” by my family checking in as he was translating to a housekeeper on his personal device. Our rooms kitchen floor was dirty, bathroom door didn’t shut all the way, you can hear EVERYTHING that the room next door is doing. The pool bathrooms were horrible. Great stay

Was impressed with breakfast options , plenty of hot, cold, and unique options like scones , fresh blueberries, biscuits and gravy, rice, really good eggs and sausage and the standards , waffles, cereal etc. Coffee was really good. One of the most comfortable beds and pillows were perfect. There were areas of wear in room but that happens…it was really clean which is all I care about .

Our room has plenty of space, clean, comfortable. Hotel staff were friendly, and the property was located in a safe environment that was easyily accessed
