The room was clean, however, the bed was hard, and the wall unit sounded like a tornado. The toilet was so low to the ground I felt I was falling and am only 4'11'. There is no body wash in the shower, the hair dryer hangs on the back of the bathroom door and bangs around and if you have a room in the back, you have terrible I-270 traffic noise. Parking was fine.

Paint peeling and chipping off, cabinet door for refrigerator hanging loose, door to room with large crack that could be seen through, no cover on peel hole either. Old, used place, seen better days and obviously being poorly managed. Breakfast was minimal, staff on phones at front desk and seemed uninterested in customers. Other Hamptons like in Easton area are much nicer. Don’t waste your time here.

The person preparing breakfast seemed completely overwhelmed and was not able to prepare enough for everyone.

All other staff were hard working, kind, knowledgeable, eager to create a great experience.
Our room was very clean and neat and well maintained. Not so for some of the other rooms we saw.

We have a limited diet and can’t eat carbs. The breakfast bar had runny scrambled eggs. Hard boiled eggs were satisfactory. The turkey bacon was limited and not replaced at 8am. There wasn’t any other meet options such as sausage or chicken patties.

We asked for the shampoo to be refilled (afternoon on day of arrival) in the bathroom dispenser. It was not refilled in our 2 night stay.

On a positive note, we arrived earlier than expected and was able to check in. This was much appreciated. .

We arrived at 4pm & we were switched to 3 different rooms because we arrived to find them all dirty. We had reservations for 2 rooms/2 nights. My mother was on a walker & we had a difficult time moving luggage & going floor to floor(only 1 elevator worked). Finally got our rooms & our toilet wouldn’t flush. They said they fixed it later the 1st night. We had to lift the lid in order to flush-so that was considered “fixed”.

When we arrived, there was no longer a king size room available, so we received a room with 2 queens. We called earlier in the day to say we would be late. It took 1/2 hour to check in. Staff could not apply Hilton #. Next morning talked to manager - she could not print a receipt to tell us how much we were charged. She said she would call to follow up and give us 30,000 points - nothing. Not one thing happened as we expected. Very disappointing and will not stay at this property again.

We were on the bottom floor next to the outside door and at night someone was smoking there and the smoke smell came into our room and I looked out the next morning and there were about 10 cigarette butts,we are allergic to cigarette smell so we left the next day instead of staying another night. Was not a happy experience and would not recommend to anyone

Wasn't give the correct bill. Bill not itemized. New bill didn't show the days i added to my stay. No bowls or plates during one continental breakfast. No water in gym water dispenser. Staff/cleaning staff kept barging into room ignoring the do not disturb sign and not knocking first on four separate occasions. The front desk staff are pleasant (sans one) and do try to resolve the issues. New staff not being properly trained to NOT barge in while you sleep or bath in your hotel room/bathroom is terrifying, and sudden busy days caused the most issues. Only one elevator worked and the stairs sign discouraged you from using stairs unless its an emergency. Ended up waiting more than five minutes just to get from and to my room. Staff with large carts and guests were stuck waiting on the one day. I know these guys can do better because they have done better on previous years. I had to use the extra safety lock on my door to keep staff from barging into my room. I'd still get startled when the door was forced against it while being opened so I would hear a sudden, loud bang. I would call out and I would either here a sorry, or nothing, and I open my door to them quickly walking away to another room. I can overlook most other issues but I shouldn't have to question my safety and privacy. Train the cleaning staff. Make sure there's bowls and plates for continental breakfast. Had to eat out of a cup during one breakfast but I'm assuming that was due to the hotel being fully booked up.

The location was great. Close to the Zoo, and other activities we wanted to do, dining options and a movie theater. However, staff wouldnt even look up when you waited st the desk, breakfast was not as good at other locations of the same company, it did not seem fresh , and the buffet area was not well tended to.

Overall cleanliness of the property. Fairly quiet, although our room faced the highway and you could hear the louder vehicles.
Large Hair clump on the floor in our bathroom. Cashier told me I needed to pay for the room when it was charged on Cheap Tickets when I booked it, when I took the receipt from Cheap Tickets down to the receptionist, she advised it was just a hold on my cc for incidentals.

The bathroom was dirty, had someone else’s dirty underwear still in the room. The wallpaper was ripped off and peeling in multiple areas. We called to complain and they told us no one could do anything till tomorrow. They didn’t offer us another room. They came to clean the next day and still left the underwear in the bathroom. When we complained they said they couldn’t do anything.

We didn't have enough towels for two adults and a tween. Our trash wasn't emptied till the day before we left. Only 3 coffee cups and no drinking glasses in the room. The freezer section in the fridge had brown ice in the front.We stayed three nights and the pool was only the last night. My relatives planned to stay and visit us with 3 children and had to go to another hotel for the pool. The next time we will go to Drury where they stayed.

There were many things that were disappointing here. I’ve stayed at this chain dozens of times and this is the first time being a negative experience.
1, at 10 pm the toilet wouldn’t flush. To be fair, they said they would send up someone, but I wanted to go to
Bed.
2. Shower drain was stuck closed
3. Bed side lamp, bad bulb
4 no working ice machine on my and another floor.
5 no cups in the room
6. The tv had no guide or info so I could not see what the station was playing.
7. Breakfast hot food was cold.
8. Conditioner container in shower empty.

I brought these matters up while checking out and was told the manager would be made aware. I was told I might get some points.
The matter should have been addressed on the spot. I’ll give them a chance to give me some compensation, but will call if they don’t follow through
Also , one of the 2 elevators was down and the pool was closed due to mechanical issues.

The pool was green, they had barely any food at the breakfast- like no milk for the cereal and when we asked about it they said they didn't have any and were not getting it. They ran out of coffee cups and put out the tiny cups used to fill the waffle maker as a substitute. The room was ok...but the tub was SUPER slow to drain and no hair dryer was in the room. The door to the room looked like someone tried to break it down. The woman at front desk was very nice, but she lacked the resources to help the guests!

The beds were comfortable but the heating/cooling system leaked water all over the floor. If you wanted to open the drapes you’d get wet feet. This is trite, but there was only decaf coffee in the room. Breakfast was HORRIBLE. The rooms were very small.

Love other Hampton Inns, though it’s been a few years since I stayed in one due to work restrictions and family obligations. Did not love this one.

Pros:
Clean
Quiet
Friendly front desk staff.
Have my coffee creamer.
Comfy bed.

Cons:
First time ever I didn’t tip housekeeping. They only came once during my three night stay and only to take away dirty towels, including the safety one on the ground, without replenishing.
I had only one towel left for morning shower and no safety one. Thankfully didn’t fall. Returned that night and they still hadn’t serviced the room. The sign says garbage, bed, towels and restock every other day. None of those happened. I had to go ask for towels so it took my own time.
Ran out of tissue too.

No place to put the sink soap so the counter became messy.

Also, I love Hampton Inn because their shower curtain is curved so it doesn’t keep hitting my arm. This one wasn’t and the shower was tiny. Also, since they’d been overbooked they’d had only an ADA room left, however the room is not ADA ready. No seat in the shower and little water pressure, anyone in a wheelchair can’t shower. They also wouldn’t fit between the bed and dresser so half the room isn’t accessible. I’m not in a wheelchair, so this is an observation having friends who are.

They ran out of breakfast items like coffee and yogurt.

Staying at another Hampton Inn this next weekend. Hoping this experience was the exception versus the new norm.

Overpriced and underwhelming.

Probably the worst pillows I’ve ever slept on. They are half the size of a normal pillow. Enough room for your head and that’s it. The tile floors at the entry way of the room were so greasy we about slipped walking in. Felt like a fast food restaurant. The mattress was fine but the bed frame was so squeaky and worn out, every time you moved Im sure the neighbors could hear it.
The hotel looks liked it could use a deep cleaning. Dirt in the corners of the floors. Our bathroom floor had visible marks that should have been mopped up.

I called before we arrived with some questions about our reservation, and the woman answering the phone was not friendly or helpful. Pretty matter of fact attitude, I probably interrupted her TikTok time.

If the Bridge Park area is why you’re coming, you’ll need to drive as this hotel is not in walking distance from anything.

Overall if you have the choice find better options in the area.

We only stayed for one night on our way to Hocking Hills. The Bridge Park area is close with some amazing entertainment and dining options. The Ramen place there was incredible with nice Happy Hour pricing. We would not have known about this place if the young man at Check-In had not taken the time to give us some great ideas of what options were nearby. The best part of this hotel is the staff. They are all very nice; breakfast was awesome with many choices, better than other hotels, in general. We travel a lot! We will stay here again this summer when we go back to the Columbus Zoo and water park. Cheers (from Michigan) until then!

We had a very pleasant 2 night stay for a concert. Staff was very nice and helpful, especially the front desk and the breakfast attendant. Breakfast was good with enough options without being overwhelming. The best part about our stay was the room! It was the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed at and that says a lot because I have stayed at more expensive hotels. The king size bed was so comfy and we didn’t have any issues sleeping at all, AC worked perfectly, plenty of channels on the tv, bathroom was clean. We would stay here again if we’re ever in Columbus!
