Hotel was decent and clean. Staff weren't rude but they weren't exactly friendly either. Phone didn't work in the room and our room type wasn't available upon check in. We changed room types it's was just unfortunate. Overall an ok place to lay your head for a budget friendly price point. We did not utilize there breakfast but I was told it was just a basic continental with granola bars, oatmeal, and coffee.

Horrible Experience – Pregnant Guest Treated Terribly and Overcharged

I booked 8 nights at Extended Stay America (450 Metro Place North, Dublin, OH) through Hotels.com and had the money ready for the full stay. When I arrived, they charged me less than the total and told me I “must’ve gotten a discount.” Then out of nowhere, they tried to charge my card again for an extra $74, claiming I only paid for 7 nights.

When I called the front desk, the woman was extremely rude and unprofessional. Even Hotels.com was on the phone trying to help, and the woman hung up on both of us. Later, the hotel tried to bill me for 8 nights after forcing me to leave on the 7th day.

I had to leave work to get there, and when I explained that my bus wouldn’t arrive until 11 (which is checkout time), the woman at the desk told me, “It’s after 11, I don’t care, you still have to pay.” I’m two months pregnant and had to clean and carry all of my belongings out by myself because my boyfriend was at work. The manager and staff showed no compassion or understanding of my situation.

I also complained several times about the noise from the guests upstairs, and nothing was done about it. The room itself was clean, but the door barely worked—it took several tries just to open it.

Corporate only decided to remove the extra charge after I called and complained, which says a lot. This location is unprofessional, careless, and completely lacks empathy. Never again.

So here’s the thing. You get what you pay for. This is probably the lowest cost hotel in this area. So if you need a cheap place to stay for a night it’s fine. It is clean but definitely worn. Cabinets in kitchenette were rough, bathtub spigot half falling off, cleaning rag left in the fridge- you get the idea . The “breakfast” was some instant oatmeal packs and nutrigrain bars. Coffee was out and I waited for more and it never came. Seems like the hotel caters to long-stay people as I saw a lot of alcohol and groceries being brought in and a ton of people in pajama pants always outside the doors smoking. But again it’s a beautiful and convenient location and you’re gonna pay a lot less than hotels literally next door and behind you.

Okay hotel for 1 night

I arrived shortly before midnight for my scheduled solo stay and when I arrived the clerk couldn’t make me a key and I ended up not having a key all night therefore couldn’t leave my room even if I wanted to. The bedding left me feeling off that night but could have easily been the type of detergent used as I was fine come morning. In the morning the new morning clerk made me a key so that was good. Breakfast was a small 5ft by 2ft counter by the entry doorway that had a decaf/ regular coffee machine, hot water machine, tea pouches, oatmeal packets, and a small two tier basket for fruit n grain bars on top and mini muffins on bottom. Again this was all on a small ledge/ counter only feet from the doorway. I found this hotel to be an okay ones to crash quick for the price though I will most likely will not be a return guest as I have hand just more pleasant experiences for only a little more money.

Made a reservation for a colleague at this hotel. He was given a rollaway bed to sleep on and said it was not a hotel but permanent living quarters for those who resided there and it smelled heavily of mold. Very disapopinted, extended stays are usually quite nice.

The stay wasn't too bad. I was greeted by 2 different workers with great customer service and very helpful. I was happy the coffee and muffins was out a little before 6am, since I had to get up at 5am. The hotel was clean. Since my stay was only for 2 nights, they do not come and clean up or replenish towels unless you ask, but i the room had more than enough for 3 days. The area is nice and quiet. I would definitely stay here again

This place was absolutely filthy. We didn’t even want to walk on the floor in the room with our bare feet. The cabinets and dresser had chunks missing out of it. The hallways smelled horrible. Also, even thought it is a suit and advertised to have a kitchen you have to ask the front desk for any utensils, plates and etc.

There was even a guy sleeping in his truck the entire night and was still there at 11 a.m.

We would have absolutely went somewhere else but the availability of other locations were extremely limited. For 180.00 this was an absolute rip off.

Got to hotel lobby and no one behind front desk. Saw a sign turned sideways saying they were helping another guest and back soon.
After 10 minutes I called the number on the sign and the phone rang behind the front desk. No one came. A few minutes later I called it again and then saw a door open in the hallway and saw several people just sitting in there.
An unfriendly woman came out and when I expressed inpatience after traveling all day and the standing their waiting she said,”we were having a meeting”.
I saw people just sitting there snacking on some food. They knew I was there and ignored m before finally coming out.
Completely unacceptable.

It was supposed to be an “extended stay” room with pots, pans , dishes , glasses etc. Nothing. Two little flimsy plastic glasses was all there was in the room.
The bed looked like a roll away.

The place is a “dump” and would NEVER stay here again.
Had reservations to come here next week and cancelled them.

Avoid this chain hotel

AT Check in i took 10min + before someone came out of office to assist. Got to room and there was no toilet seat. I had my service dog with me and the next morning as we were leaving the hotel the cleaning crew stared yelling at me because my dog was not on a lean, which she yelled out stating this is policy. If the policy is not posted on the web site or anywhere at the hotel, how am I to know a lead was required. I have been walking my dog in and out of the hotel and nobody at the front desk ever stated this requirement to me. AS I take my dog about to the designated area for my dog to relieve herself, there are always people smoking at the entry doors in which I need to walk through the smoke. The staff is not managing the post no smoking within 100' of door.
This was a very bad hotel to stay at and will not reserve a room again at the hotel brand.

Very Disappointing! Usually like extended stay hotels, I was in Columbus the week before but at a different location and it was good. So I booked again this past weekend for work… i walk up and a young lady is standing outside arguing w/ whoever she was on the phone with, just so happen it was the front desk staff, had to wait till she got off the phone to get waited on after I just worked 10hrs smh…. I get to the room and put my food on the kitchenette counter and before I can get in the shower ants are all on the counter head for my food that was in a bag. Tried calling the front desk, room phone didn’t work, so I looked up the number and called on my phone, which I got the main office and they advised my to call back and press 4 for the hotel front desk, so I did… spoke to a different young that checked me in and she was nice, I told her about the issue, she said she’ll call back and get someone to come up(mind you I told her the room phone wasn’t working), anyway but no one came to check. I was super exhausted, I chalked it up and I put my food in the fridge and got settled to go to sleep due I had to be back at work at 7am… I didn’t even chance getting under the covers to sleep, slept on top of the blankets with clothes on. Smh

Upon walking into the room and seeing the cupboard door missing under the sink area was a huge turn off. Having to ask for a coffee pot or even coffee was not expected so we didn’t bother. The staff was friendly at both check out and check in however being told they didn’t have items for breakfast due to being out of stock tells me they truly didn’t care enough to make sure their customers stay was appreciated with a coffee or a muffin or anything for breakfast as it stated it did have continental breakfast items at check in. There were no dishes, no silverware, no dryer for your hair and truly not worth the amount paid. I could have had more from another hotel. We were very very very disappointed at the price for all the more we got. Which was literally just a place to lay our heads because nothing was in the room except the beds 3 pillows on each bed and barely enough toilet paper and no extra for just in case. The fridge was out dated and honestly just the fact we couldn’t even use any amenity in the room because they had to brought in upon asking was very tacky. Ice cube trays was the only kitchen item nothing else. The beds were wobbly and even the light switches didn’t work well except the main one and that was very annoying as well. VERY disappointed at what I spent for this hotel. Pictures were deceiving and we were not happy at all.

Parking lot under construction; not enough spaces for guests; no measures taken to help guests find a place to park. Card entry not working on exterior door - no measures taken to inform guests. \"Free breakfast\" is the typical gaslighting description of a paltry snack and marginal coffee service - not anything like a \"breakfast.\"

We had to change rooms because of the smell. The a/c leaked and the carpet was wet and smelly in the room we had to keep.
They called 4 or 5 days after we checked out at the front desk and turned in our keys to the clerk. And asked if we were still there. I'm checking to see what they charged me for.

When we got our room & we realized it had a major ant issue. The front desk staff were kind to get us another room with out the ants. When we asked for cookware/silverware they only had 1-small boiling pan and some silverware. Said sorry we are “out of all the rest of the cookware items”. It was kind of why we choose this hotel to be able to cook food. Breakfast was a choice of a granola bar, muffin or oatmeal …lot less then they use to do. The coffee was great. In close proximity to stores, highways and things to do.

It was a nice and clean hotel. We like to use these type of hotels because they are cheap, but also have a home-type feel with the full refrigerator, stovetop, and kitchen sink area. They are also cat and dog friendly, but do charge a pet deposit. The staff were also very friendly, accommodating and nice to conversate with.

For the last 3 years until a few months ago the manager and some of the staff at this hotel have been really terrible.
I was treated badly by them many times.
It was like a sample of the worst hotel in America that I would not recommend at all.
I had no choice but to stay at this hotel on business.
Nothing but displeasure.
However, he became a new manager and this time he responded much better.
You can tell by looking at the eyes of the working staff

Location is within walkable distance to all the doctor's offices near Metro Place North in Dublin Ohio. Hotel seems decent but housekeeping staff not that alert completing their daily duties. I checked into a cleaned room without pillows and pillowcases laying on the bed seem used. The check-in lady rectified the situation immediately. Hotel seems a little too quiet for the area it is located in and the other customers do not seem very well mannered for a hotel like that. It is better than any motel but not worth $100 a night. There are much better hotels for that rate.

I reserved a king room online and when I was checking in I was informed that there weren’t any king rooms in the building!?
The hallway smelled of cigarette smoke. The trash can under the kitchen sink was full, and there were used feminine products in the bathroom trash can.
The website said that I would receive a free breakfast, but that didn’t happen either.

Although the staff was nice it did not make up for the upkeep of the hotel. Dirty Qtips in the elevator, a blow dryer that I had to go to the front desk and get and it didnt work.

It would have been nice it the curtains closed fully - I had to use a coat hanger to keep them shut.

The site said fully equipped kitchen - there was nothing in the kitchen except two ice cubs trays, cabinets with doors that didnt close correctly and a waste can.

When I checked in there was a bag of garbage on the bench in front of the entrance. When I checked out the bag was still there

Upon arrival the parking area was dark. There was a man who appeared to be scouting for a victim in the parking lot. Once I entered inside, the lobby area was dated. The walls was red and yellow baby poop in color. Mounted on the south wall was a large old picture of a welcome mat. Inside and outside felt dirty. It felt like I was in the projects. My wife and I both agreed that we was not going to stay where we felt unsafe, dirty and potentially dangerous area. Im disappointed that the upper management of Extented Stay would allow and permit these conditions to exist.

Very, very dirty. General Manager very aggressive

The place is very dirty and the general manager is aggressive and quick to rage! The room they gave me had been previously occupied by someone with cats. There was cat litter, cat hair, and cat food in the bathroom. I filled out a feedback form and received a quick response from Lee, the general manager. He offered (via email) a free night's stay in the future.

I made a reservation for a future stay. When I arrived the general manager refused to honor it. He started screaming at me saying to come back tomorrow and that it was unacceptable to check into a hotel at 7 pm. Note: It was earlier than 7 pm.

I had to find another hotel that night.

Most extended stay properties have basic kitchen utensils, a few dishes and eating utensils. This place was bare. One kitchen towel, no dish soap, nothing to prepare a meal in or eat it off. The only positives were the bed was comfortable and the room was clean.
