Better than home from home.

Obviously a personal opinion and reflective of what home is like. Comfortable studio with kingsize bed and twin sinks in the bathroom. Easy 10 minute walk from the main station despite ongoing construction works in the area. Easy connections to the old town and tourist areas.

Excellent room, comfortable and with fine bathroom facilities. It is a bit difficult to reach SUYTES as the access road Czernyring is closed due to roadworks. Tricky if you walk from the train station and cross Montpellierbrucke.

Clean, modern, close to the train station and very quiet. I loved having the mini kitchen as a break from dining out. Check in via the key box was easy. My only complaint is that the WiFi was so weak that I had to sit in the lobby to use FaceTime.
Note: in September 2023 there is some construction that makes it confusing to get to the hotel on foot coming from the tram stop or the train station. Just cut through the parking lot of Mandy’s Fast Food, which will take you to Czernyring.

Great place to stay, close to the station.

We stayed here for a week whilst visiting the area. We arrived after reception had closed, however we had been emailed a code to access a box with our keys. The property was spacious and nicely furnished. We had a bedroom and separate lounge/kitchen diner. The dishwasher was out of use and there was a bit of a mix of glasses, maybe some had been broken and not replaced. The kitchen was useful, a toaster would have been useful but not a huge issue. We didn't try the breakfast option. The windows had electric shutters which was very useful in keeping the property cool. Our apartment had air conditioning, we requested this when booking as some apartments don't have air con. The staff we dealt with were very friendly. There was a small self serve bar available at reception at reasonable prices. Around 5 minutes walk from the main station and a few stops on the tram to the main shopping area. Would stay again if in the area.

The property was quiet and clean, and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. They have a laundry room and iron, but it wasn’t open in the evening, even though the guests have a key card. That was not convenient. The property is about 1 1.5 km from Bismarckplatz and the Neckar River, and another km or so from Altstadt, but it’s only a block from a streetcar stop, which adds a little convenience.

The accommodation was very good . Our only minor complaint was that the appartment was a bit warm and to cool it down we had to open the windows althouth that meant it was a little noisy next to the road and railway line. Some air conditioning would have helped.It would be helpful if there were some milk sachets or capsules in the fridge as we arrived late and wanted to make a cup of tea. The lady on reception was very helpful and found us some milk from her kitchen

The property was roomy and well equipped. We weren’t confident given some of the reviews but we liked our stay and found it comfortable and pretty quiet. The free laundry in the basement with 2 washers and 2 dryers was a real bonus. We had a car so didn’t test the public transport but it seemed close to a local tram line. The floor was a bit dirty but overall things were clean. We’d stay again

Great “efficiency” type accommodation.

Great location for our trip. Not far from tram stop and easy journey in to town centre. Rooms were very clean and great shower! Beds were comfortable, no complaints from us.

One slight issue was aircon is not in ground floor rooms so if it’s a must (and it was unusually hot for a time this summer) then confirm on booking with a message.

Reception were very helpful.

The room space is very pleasing. Furniture and equipment is nice. A little bit dark in the evening both in the living room and bedroom especially for a place intended for long stays.
The entrance into garage is narrow and steep. Quite intimidating.
But overall everything was nice.

Simple, Stylish, Comfy Stay. Staff are A++

Staff were the most helpful one that you can find. They do not operate on a 24hour basis but the opening hour is sufficient. I stayed in the small studio and it is still a very good size for 1 with balcony. It is a stylish, quiet, clean, cozy place with a kitchenette which is an extra bonus. It is situated in a new area with business hotels like this. There is everything that you need for a comfy stay. Hot comfy shower water are guaranteed. Taxi cost around 5-7euro, or you can walk for 10minutes on the overpass bridge.

Good choice in Heidelberg

Clean, functional, comfortable. Easy to find and close to the main railway station and old town. Very quiet area and the building itself was very conducive to a good night’s sleep. My studio had a balcony with a table and chairs which is great for summer visits. Of particular note are the superb toiletries - shower gel, shampoo and moisturizer made by CO Bigelow a luxury US brand -something different and a lovely product. If I could have added anything it would be a toaster/ toastie maker. I would also leave a new washing up sponge for all new guests as I wouldn’t use the well-worn one under the sink! These are the only small points. I would stay again and I would highly recommend Suytes as good value for money and excellent in terms of comfort and location.

Be aware....Do Not stay here

The front desk personnel is very unprofessional...
My family and I were put in a room without enough beds. After confronting the front desk i was told that if i had booked directly thru their website i would have been accommodated better.Hotels.com be aware of their practices.
I been traveling now for 25 years to Heidelberg and must say the hospitality in this particular “Hotel” is not acceptable, unfriendly and unprofessional with NO drive to make the customer feel comfortable.
My CC was charged 3 times without any explanation.
The “Hotel” is right across of a major construction site ( will be a while till construction is completed)
and the Heidelberg main train stations with Traffic noise almost 24 hrs a day.
Do yourself a favor and do NOT stay their and enjoy Heidelberg the way it should be enjoyed.

Suites are modern, clean and reasonably quiet. Although they're a little out from the centre of town, the tram/bus stop is only 100m away and it takes less than 10 minutes to reach the old town centre.

A nice and confortable place to stay

Very nice place to stay, a brand new building, close to the railway station. The studio was nice and spacious, with a small balcony. Great room, kitchen as well as bathroom, all in top condition.

On the other hand there were some minor cleanliness issues in bathroom, also some more kitchen tools (e.g. chopping board) would be handy. Without this a five stars place to stay.

Incredible find in Heidelberg!!!!

This hotel was an absolute GEM!!!! I am so happy we found it. While it wasn't in the prettiest part of town, it was equipped with all the latest tech and decor. Truly deluxe. We were only there one night, and compared to the other hotels we hit along the way for our three week journey through Europe it was a real treat. Staff was incredibly helpful and responsive. A five minute walk to the tram and 10 minute ride into town. I wish they had one of these in every city we visited!

Caution: Not a 4-star but 2-star hotel, no aircon!

It is the worst 4-star hotel I have ever stayed. It actually should be a 2-star since it doesn't have aircon inside the room on the ground floor and staffs are not helpful. Also, the floor is raw-wood floor and no sleepers provided. The raw-wood floor looks dirty and feel rough even though the housekeeper tried hard to clean it. And one morning, something on the floor hurt my foot, like a sprint or something, which is too tiny to find out. Anyway, my foot got a needle red spot, as you can see from the pic I attached here.

Nice alternative to big chaing hotels.

Stayed for one night for a visit to SAP's headquarters in Walldorf. This is a relatively small hotel, probably 25-30 units. Found it very clean. Nice sized rooms. Staff was nice although limited. Usually just one person on staff with limited hours (not 24 hours). Room has small refrigerator, hot plate and microwave oven. Nice place if you need to stay for a brief period of time. Parking in their garage has an overnight fee.

Great hotel!

By far our best hotel on our 2 week trip. Sad we stayed for just one night. The room was clean and modern and looked like it had newly been remodeled. The best part was that we were able to use on site laundry for free, they even provided detergent. The staff were nice and helpful. It was also about a 1 minute walk from a great American restaurant, Mandys, which we were really craving after abut a week away from home. It's not in downtown, but it's quiet and close to the bus and tram lines. Breakfast was a little sparse, and not included in the price, but overall it was a very pleasant stay.

We must have missed information somewhere that you must check in by a certain time (18:00 ?) and the nice receptionist had to wait for us to check in. The hotel is close to the train station and nothing else. It is a 20min boring walk to the city. The metro line is currently under repair. The hotels dog policy was unclear and cost us triple what we expected to pay. On the plus side the room was nice and everything was new. If you want a little kitchen in your room this is the hotel for you, if not stay in the town and not in this hotel.

Hotel has no a/c. Check in clerk was so very slow and not with it. Breakfast consisted of coffee, bread and cereal. Free juice was available. Then received bill for breakfasts when checking out. I thought it was included. It is also noisy because you had to keep window open to stay cool. The one good thing about it is there is a tram stop not far away so you can get to the altstadt by hopping on the tram headed for the altstadt. Not here ever again!!!

Quiet but lack of service is appalling

Hotel is located at a quiet place, room is spacious too.

However, quality of service is often found wanting.
Room cleaning is slow
There is also no ironing facilities within each room which I strongly feel it is an important facility for a studio apartment!
Service staffs are not friendly and can be quite rude at times.

With the same $$, we can get a hotel nearer to city centre whilst compromising on room size.

On the site it was written...close to the center, but it was in the industrial area and not so pretty and 15 min on tram and 10 Euros by taxi. They had a phone number for emergency...and there was a serious emergency and the number didn't work.. Even before arrival, l wanted to call, even with the international operator it didn't work.. It's very new, so very clean and comfortable but the corridor to the rooms outside should be very cold in winter. In all very clean and friendly but l would try another hotel next time.

Highly expensive for the type of service offered. Stayed 2 nights and room not cleaned on the 2nd day. Strangely towels were removed and there is no reception or room service available at night upto 7AM next day. Breakfast pathetic - only cold croissants and jam. Even no juice. Bed uncomfortable and barely any light to do any work.

Brand new hotel & great location

The hotel is very new. The room is stylish, clean and comfortable. The hotel service was excellent. The staff served us cold drinks when we arrived, and gave us map and info of the city. The hotel is close to the main station, and just a minute away from the tram station. You can take the tram to the old town. But we walked, it was just about 20 mins walk. Would like to stay in this hotel again.

Reception seems to be open only in the mornings, so if you try to contact them at 2pm, you can't get through. This was a worry as we received an email telling us our registered credit card was not working and they would cancel our reservation. Very stressful.
The room was comfortable and clean; apart from the dishwasher, which smelt mouldy, and the sofa, which had horrible stains on it. Several sockets were not working, so we had to choose between using laptops or having light. (There is no ceiling light in the sitting part of the living space.) It also meant one of us sat on the sofa, the other one at the table.
The mattress was very comfortable and the air conditioning in the bedroom very welcome; it was also not one of those aggressive aircons which give you a cold and make it freezing. Just perfect. The pillows, however, were torture implements and meant that we had broken sleeps.
Breakfast is sort of adequate. Baked-up mass produced rolls (a crime in Germany with all its wonderful bread), horrible yoghurt, but nice teas and coffee and a small range of cheese, meats and spreads, couple of cereals.

Only 3 tables which were very high with bar stools. Not suitable for vertically challenged people but I suppose uncomfortable enough to make you leave quickly and vacate the table for other guests.

We appreciated having the space and a kitchenette and would come again.

Personal top und Hygiene problematisch!

Der Mitarbeitern sind top und sehr freundlich. Das Hotel hat gute Parkmöglichkeiten und scheint in einem guten Zustand zu sein. Bei genauerem Hinsehen gibt es sehr viele hygienische Mängel. Der Wasserkocher, die Kaffeemaschine und alle Utensilien sind alle fettig Fingerabdrücke, teilweise Essensreste von Vorgängern, ob jedes Zimmer eine Spülmaschine hat, unvorstellbar! Alle Sitzmöglichkeiten sind alle fleckig. Sofakissen haben Eiweißflecken und dufte Unangenehm. Entschuldigung, ich bin sehr direkt.

Sehr viel Platz! Alles sehr sauber und ruhig! Man konnte sich mit Kaffee und Essen selbst bedienen. Keiner hat einen gestört. Zum Check in war jedoch keiner da. Mit somit konnte man die kostenlose Nutzung des Parkhauses nicht nutzen. Das war schade.

Ruhige Unterkunft im Wohnhausstil

Die SUYTES Business Studios sind modern und freundlich eingerichtete Apartments von angenehmer Größe in einem wohnhausähnlichen Gebäude.

Toll sind die großen Balkone, auch das Zimmer an sich ist sauber und ordentlich eingerichtet, es fehlt aber ein wenig an „Wärme“ bei der Einrichtung, eine bessere Beleuchtung wäre toll und die Küche könnte ein wenig besser ausgestattet sein (z.B. mit einer Kapselkaffeemaschine - es gab nur einen Wasserkocher - und beim Geschirr).

Was mir persönlich fehlte, war Leben - was aber vermutlich dem Konzept der Business Studios geschuldet ist. Es fühlt sich eher an wie in einem normalen Wohnkomplex, wo man auch selten jemandem seiner Nachbarn begegnet.

Parkplätze waren am Straßenrand vorhanden, durch die Baustelle wohl mehr als normalerweise. Ruhig war es ebenfalls, und wenn die Baustelle weg ist, dürfte auch die ÖPNV-Anbindung nicht schlecht sein.

Insgesamt sind die SUYTES Business Studios empfehlenswert für Reisende, die kein „Hotel-Feeling“ brauchen und lieber für sich sind.

Waren für 1 Nacht im Suytes Heidelberg mit 7 Personen in 3 Zimmern. Preis Leistung mehr als Fair!!!

Die Apartments sind schön geräumig super ausgestattet und bieten super modernen Komfort. Die Regendusche das Bett und die Küche inkl.Kaffeemaschine waren definitiv ein Highlight. Unsere Zimmer hatten alle einen möblierten Balkon.

Die Lage des Hotels ist super man ist nur eine Bushaltestelle vom HBF entfernt. Der Bus bringt einen ohne umsteigen zum Schloss. Ums Hotel gibt es kostenlose Parkplätze und Restaurant.

Zum Frühstück gibt es wenig auszusetzen alles da was man braucht. Frische Brötchen lecker Säfte und super Kaffe. Definitiv zu empfehlen!!! Kleines Manko ist die Größe des Frühstückraumes. Immer Sommer hat man ein paar Plätze mehr weil man raus sitzen kann. Für Müslifans wäre es cool wenn man Naturjoghurt oder Quark hätte anstatt gesüßtem Fruchtjoghurt.

Was ich jetzt noch erwähnen muss ist die Kommunikation schon vor Anreise. Die nette Frau von der Rezeption hatte mir am Anreisetag angerufen um mir mitzuteilen das es leider ein Problem mit einem Zimmer gibt uns wir auf ein Doppelzimmer ausweichen müssten ( Zimmer war auch TipTop) ohne groß etwas erwähnen zu müssen hatte sie uns gleich ein Entgegenkommen angeboten was total genial war. ( kostenloses Frühstück für die Familie) vielen lieben Dank dafür so etwas ist nicht selbstverständlich!!

Wir kommen definitiv wieder wenn wir in Heidelberg sind man kann die Unterkunft 100%weiterempfehlen ohne Mängel.

Negativ:
Sehr verwohnt, vor allem fleckige Stühle, fettiges Sofa, einige nicht ordentlich gereinigte Ecken wie Duschkopf, Dusche, Fenster, Terrasse, Wasser- oder Schimmelflecken in Wohnzimmer und Dusche, kaputte Böden, überfällige Luftfilter der Klimaanlage
Schwierigkeiten beim Check in, da niemand vor Ort war und der Code für den Schlüsselkasten nur telefonisch zu erfragen ist (Telefonnummer war zuerst besetzt). Dies betrifft laut Unterkunft nur Expedia-Buchungen, da ansonsten Codes per Email verschickt werden.
Umgebung laut durch sehr viel Zugverkehr (auch nachts), Industriegebiet
Balkon direkt neben Nachbarhotel, der sogenannte Garten verdient die Bezeichnung nicht
Die Nutzung der Tiefgarage war für uns nicht möglich, da wir eine Dachbox auf dem Auto hatten und man uns am Telefon die Höhe der Einfahrt nicht mitteilen konnte. Sie ist auch nicht am Tor erkennbar.

Very nice stay in Heidelberg.

Very nice and big appartment with 2 balconies in quiet area. We brought bicycles so it was very easy to go to old city area. The host offered parking for the bicycles free of charge in locked garage. We enjoyed the high standard of the appartment and the high service from the host. He gave top service and we had a very pleasant stay.

Wonderful and friendly staff, neat and spacious.

Very responsive staff, and helped us to load luggage to our apartment.

However no AC might be a minus point when weather is too too hot. However during our stay weather was warm but not too bad yet without AC.

It’s quite close to HBF, where is about 10 mins walk. Very easy to go to anywhere u wanna go.

During our stay, the cleaning staff left a rag in the balcony, also we found unwashed cups inside the dish washer. it’s not a big thing but could be improved later.

As we had to check out early in the morning, by calling the staff on the phone we were given very clear and easy instruction to check out.

We certainly would like to stay again whenever we come back to Heidelberg.

Service war super und sehr freundlich. Zimmer waren sauber und optimal für drei Personen. Man konnte zu Fuß schnell bei den öffentlichen sein.
Die Matratze vom Sofa hätte ein bisschen dicker sein können, aber war trotzdem ok. Ansonsten rundum zufrieden gewesen. Kann man definitiv weiter empfehlen

Gut für Geschäftsreisende

Komfortables Zimmere mit Kitchenette. Hier könnte man als Geschäftsreisende:r gut eine Woche aushalten und sich etwas zu essen machen. Kaffeepulver und Tee waren da, auch etwas Geschirr, aber da müsste man ggf. nachordern, wir hatten den Eindruck dass Gäste hier kräftig geräubert haben. Wenn man am kleinen Schreibtisch arbeiten will, dann bräuchte man einen besseren Stuhl, der vorhandene ist zu niedrig.
