Room and stay were great. What was hugely disappointing was the sheer rudeness of the shuttle driver getting me to the airport after checkout. I was on the phone to my parents dealing with a medical emergency and this guy is haranguing me in German, refusing to speak English, to stop talking on the phone. Absolutely unacceptable in this day and age. And while this may be a subcontractor to you, Hilton, it is procured via you so you as a business are responsible. Shocking and abhorrent.

Recently refurbished hotel. Although not in the historical centre, it is in a good area, with plenty of restaurants and shops, and the benefit in good, on-site parking (suitable for a low/wide car). The bed was a little small, but the room was otherwise excellent. We were bothered by someone playing loud music in the night, the staff dealt with it well and offered to change our room.

I’m a Hilton member and was initially told there were no rooms available, but they quickly found a room for me and even gave me access to the exclusive lounge. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, definitely one of the best I’ve had. The location is perfect—just a short 10-minute walk to Old Town. I highly recommend Hilton Heidelberg and will stay here again if I return.

The customer service for breakfast and lunch was great! Check in was great! We did get stuck in the garage for about 10minutes because no one would answer the intercom, we had to call them on the phone, slight inconvenience. Otherwise, this location was great.

I will definitely rebook my reservation for the Hilton Heidelberg when I return to Heidelberg, Germany. I stayed for my 2024 family Christmas vacation and enjoyed my stay here because of the staff, location and closeness to public transportation. The staff is pleasant, helpful, friendly, and always there to accommodate your needs. The breakfast was to die for with all of the options and the service of the staff was great. Be sure to include it in your reservation or pay daily. Charge per room, not per person. You won't regret it. Of course, all of the staff speaks multiple languages. The location is ideal to get to the DB "Deutsche Bahn" train station, Germany's regional and country to country long distance rail service. It is also close to the RNV public transportation system for trams and buses. It has a stop directly in front of the hotel. Many things you will want to see are within walking distance to the hotel. A shuttle is available to and from the Frankfurt Airport. Again, I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Heidelberg, Germany. I was truly impressed with my stay. This is a nice hotel. My room was modern and clean. The problem is that it was like staying in Fawlty Towers. The staff have no idea what they are doing. At check in I was told I had a free mini bar but there was no mini bar in my room. Turns out she had made a mistake. She also told me I had no breakfast included but turns out I did so missed out on that the first day. I had to ring and ask for a hairdryer both days. No milk for coffee in the fridge. Cleaning and room service trolleys in the hallway all the time. No help with bags. Shower hose was so twisted it wet the whole bathroom floor. The air conditioning didn’t work. There was always a long queue for reception which was annoying. It was all a bit of a shambles. I wouldn’t bother staying here again for the money it cost.

Excellent amenities, service, breakfast buffet off-the-charts, and kind administrative staff. I visited during the Microsoft crash when all the key cards stopped working and the staff remained highly professional during a fully-booked week. Kudos to them! I’d stay there again. The location is also in the far side of the Philosopher’s Path which is great because we could walk down the stairs (not up) to see the town of Heidelberg from above—spectacular!)

The location was good, we got a suite qhich was nice. But the reception staff the first day, dont remember his name but was so bad. They said the didnt have parking, they did. I am a hilton honors member, which means I get free breakfast and access to a lounge, they never mentioned this. I made a reservation for breakfast, they did not honor it (altough the restaurant staff was very nice and acommodated us anyways). The price charged was insanely high, the highest we paid in Europe and the highest we ever paid for a Hilton. In summary, I like the room, the staff was. Ice with the exception of one person at the reception which shoukd be fired for the incompetence.
