It was a great location ( 15 min walk from train station and another 15 to old town).
The rooms were clean, spacious, coffee maker and fridge, the breakfast buffet had a nice variety of choices, and the staff were friendly!

Traveled with partner and dog. Easy check-in and continued nice interactions with staff and cleaning team members. Cool function in our room was the “suite-pad” which we could schedule room cleaning if needed and learn more about what the hotel offered and what was around us. Location was perfect, 10ish min walk from the center “Altstadt” so it was quiet in the evenings and not too crowded. Nice selection of restaurants nearby and a grocery store.

The room was a bit old and could use renovation. almost no ventilation in the bathroom. However, public area was kept nicely especially breakfast area and it was very good. Underground parking was quite a bit tight but overall good value for the money and I would stay again

It was OK, no food except breakfast but is a reasonably good central location for bar and restaurant choices. My room was OK, nice balcony but the bathroom sink was cracked. No ironing facility provided. Coffee machine with a couple of free pods provided. Breakfast had usual hot and cold buffet choices.

Great place to stay

I stayed here on 2 separate occasions and have enjoyed my stay both times. Great location downtown with short walk to key places. breakfast options aren't bad and there is paid parking in a garage below the hotel

Staff was a real mix. Some were incredibly nice while others clearly didn't want to be at work and were uninterested in helping out the guests.
Ran out of hand soap the last night and then ran out of shampoo/soap in the shower on my last morning before check out. Big bottles in use and no one bothers to check them in the 4 days I am there.
Left dirty mugs and glasses in my room the entire time. Came in every day, made the bed and changed the dirty towels but left everything else as it was.

Parking in the hotel garage was challenging. Several spaces were filled with hotel items such as rolls of carpet and wooden pallets plus the ticket system machine refused to accept the paper parking tickets. There were many stacked on top of the exiting machine as it failed to even pull the ticket in to be read. Multiple trips to the front desk to try another ticket, eventually told to press the button on the machine to alert the front desk staff to open the gate.

Good but…

I know it’s not W, but for the price:

1. The lobby and lift smells like ammonia (mild rotten egg)
2. The soap dispenser in the bathroom was on the vanity top instead of affix to the wall.
3. The bath/shower was very narrow - anyone who is “bigger” than 180cm / 85kg will struggle to shower in it.

Hotel staffs were friendly and the location is great to be a base to explore Heidelberg.

Modest outdated room and bathroom. Carpet needs replacement! Bath, no shower. Tea maker, no coffee machine (a big pity) and a small fridge. Friendly and helpful staff. Traffic noise, not too bad at night.
Comfy bed and pillows.
Hotel parking underground cost 17€. Free street parking 7pm-8am on weekdays, after 2pm on Saturday and the whole day on Sunday. The rest of the time there is a parking meter 2€/hour, maximum 2hours. Another option is underground Parking P15 Klinikum Bergheim at 250m from the hotel 10€/1day, 17€/2day…
Narrow driveway in front of the hotel to load/unload the luggage.
10-minute walk to downtown.
No bad wifi.

The hotel was satisfactory - it was close to the city centre and not too far of a walk from the train station (about 10 minutes). The rooms were spacious and had all the necessities which you would look for - kettle, tea, etc. The coffee at reception was a little bit of a let down being instant rather than machine coffee (I'm not referring to breakfast coffee, but rather the free coffee provided at reception). Other hotels offer machine coffee which is a little more sophisticated.

However, I would have rated this hotel 4 stars - BUT wifi was a letdown for me. Wifi would often disconnect and for some reason, my Samsung phone would have significant issues with the wifi connection. My laptop would connect, but my Samsung phone would not - and I have never had any issues with any other hotels I've been at with connection to my phone as I've had here. Just a shout out in case you also have a Samsung phone. As I was here for business, needing good wifi was an important aspect for me. Otherwise, my stay was good.

Another issue is that the hotel only has ONE elevator. This can be problematic, particularly during COVID when only one family should use the elevator at a time. Luckly I was on the third floor so could take the stairs, but felt for those on the higher levels.

Also, temperature controls with the air conditioning wouldn't work very well, as I am a warm sleeper. Ended up keeping the window open at night (would be good if they had a fly screen).

We came back because there's so much to see! We love it! So we picked this hotel this trip. Much quieter on a Saturday night. Like the newer feel. Chose the other Leonardo 4.5 km outside of the city, by mistake for 1 night, not as nice. Still getting my credit worked out from another booking site! Omg! Again it had a fridge, front desk staff very nice. Had snack in the lobby and ice water with citrus!! Didnt eat there at all. Would stay again.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The lobby area was nice with beverages available (flavored water and a hot drink). Adequate bar area with competent bartender. Room was basic. Bathroom was large and nicely appointed. Toilet and shower needed more cleaning. There were two elevators but they were extremely slow and so packed we had to carry or luggage down the stairs when leaving as we waited twice only to find no room on either elevator. Proximity to the Alstadt area was great and this was my favorite thing about the property. Easy walking distance to the Christmas markets and Old Town area. Pleasant stay on the whole.

It was ok, not exciting experience. Hotel location is perfect walking distance to the centre. Furniture in the room is a bit old, kind of 80's, otherwise bed is very comfortable and cozy. Spacious bathroom which was very clean. Staff is polite and welcoming. For short stay is worth it.

The best aspects of this hotel were the staff - all very helpful and cheerful and the super breakfast!
One minor niggle, though a very personal one, was the temperature in the room - far too hot, even with the thermostat turned down!
This is the second time I have stayed in Germany with this hotel group and I would have no hesitation of using them again.

Conveniently located in the city center. It is a short bus ride away from the main train station, and takes around 10-13mins if you choose to walk.
Walking distance to old town, which takes around 10mins. Alternatively bus/ trams are available.
Staffs are helpful and polite.
Room is clean and complete with all the necessary amenities. Only down side is there are no ceiling lights so it is not very well lit.
Buffet breakfast has a good spread of food and selections. Only downside is the same food everyday.
I would choose to stay with this hotel again if I am returning to visit. Thanks for a good stay.

This hotel had a room on short notice, when other hotels in the area did not. And the sparkling wine upon check in is very nice.
The room was not ready at check-in time, so I had to wait (this, after I asked for early check in, as my flight got me in early in the day). The breakfast buffet has great bread and nice fresh fruit, but otherwise offers nothing to the vegan eater, and it costs 19Euros, which is not noted anywhere, so I wrongly assumed it was included in the price of the room.

No mention that parking was charged at 17 Euros per day. Toilet seat loose, and cistern leaked water into bowl the whole time. Having paid for the parking at the reception desk (parking machine in basement out of order) the release ticket failed to work, and required two trips back to reception before they finally manually released the barrier. Despite being in the Umwelt zone, there is no mention on the hotel website, and when questioned, the staff member didn't know what I was talking about.... I now await to see whether I will be fined for entering the zone with a plakette issued by an appropriate garage,

A Pleasant Experience.

Nice hotel and a convenient location.
Showering requires you to step over a fairly tall tub which could prove to be difficult for some people.

We stayed here when I was on business. Though check in time mentioned on booking was 3pm, I was allowed to check in even though I arrived at 10am...I was very pleased. Though my room was facing road, it was very quiet. The room was clean and well maintained. Very near to city centre and well connected with tram & bus stops right across. Breakfast was good too.

The only down side was that our room was on 1st floor just above the main entrance and one big flood light placed facing upward above the entrance was little irritant in the evening as well as night time.

Nothing special or oustanding about this hotel. Stayed for over a week. One particular girl on reception was not the happiest! The best thing about the hotel was the happy friendlyhousekeeper from Senegal. Travelled with my old mother and the height of the bath to get into shower is ridiculous for old people and dangerous. No antislip Matt either

Fantastic nights sleep in Heidelberg

Our stay at this hotel was great. The room was bigger than expected. Very clean and nicely furnished. The beds were so comfortable that we almost slept in on two occasions when we had arranged to meet family in town. There were complimentary cold drinks and iced lollies in the reception area which was a nice touch in the hot weather at the time.
The location of the hotel was ideal for us. Located between the main high street and the train station and both easily reached in a few minutes on foot. There were several nice restaurants, bars and cafes all around the hotel. We would definitely stay here again.

I Got Lucky

I had selected a cheaper place a bit outside if town. That one fell through and I ended up at the Leonardo City Center and could not have been more pleased. The room was awesome, the service was Great, and the location was exactly what I needed. The next time I am in town, I will be staying there again.

Nice hotel, walkable for mid-age from train stn

Stayed there for 2 nights. I needed to leave early and breakfast was early on time. Hotel is located close to Neckar River. I found the neighborhood safe, there's a police station close to the hotel. I recommend a Greek Restaurant called Knossos, which is very close, you need to see the sign on the Bergheimer Street, because it's hidden a bit rear. Overall I'm happy with my choice to select this hotel.

Stayed here during Heidelberg Festival so it was quite expensive. Walk for around 30mins to the old town and the Castle. Not many restaurants nearby the hotel. Basement carpark is available with extra fee.
Staffs are friendly and helpful. Room is big but the bathroom is a little bit worn out. No screen for the bath which make the whole floor wet when you take a shower.
Breakfast is good with a lot of choices. Staffs are diligent who check and refill the food frequently and clean the table instantly after used.

Room was nice and big. A/C did not work and it was very loud with the window open. Only there for one night, but when we went out to dinner about 9 at night the area was pretty scary to walk in. There are a LOT of migrants just hanging out and yelling things at people walking by. It was very uncomfortable. I would not stay here again. The staff was very nice and helpful however.

Simply a fine hotel in the middle of town.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Had little things in the lobby all the time (drinks, snacks) which always makes for a pleasant stay. The rooms were nicer than the hotel it self. It looks like it's going through a bit of an upgrade/renew. No trouble finding it, and there is underground parking. Close enough to walk to old town. The only concern was the AC didn't really keep up, but it was very (30) hot outside during the day.

At first glance, especially if you come at night, the neighborhood looks a bit off. However, no concern. Lots of little businesses, well lit, lots of people/car traffic.

We were room only so cannot comment on food. Welcome drink much appreciated. Very pleasant lady on reception. Bit of a hike into town but we had the car so we needed parking. Only real downside we had room on the 8th floor and there was a constant noise that sounded like the air conditioning unit or something else that made a noise that made it hard to sleep. All in all though quite happy.

It was expensive, I mean they charge €18 per person per night for breakfast we didn't pay this it's absolutely disgusting they can charge that sort of money and we were charged €60 for 3 nights parking. As we left on the last day I mentioned about the high price for breakfast and sarcastically the gentleman on reception said this is the normal in Heidleberg so I said this is not the normal where I come from. If anyone wants advice do not have breakfast in this hotel, we had perfectly good breakfast outside the hotel in cafe bars for between €3.5 and €6

Is not a deluxe hotel but everything works fine on hotel. Facilities according to price.
