Don't like the online and self-checkin, it lacks any kind of personal welcome.
Bar was closed when we returned to hotel.at 8pm despite signage saying it closes at midnight on Saturdays. I was directed to a vending machine instead.
Rooms are clean and spacious, beds are comfortable
A guest from the neighbouring room entered our room through the interconnecting doors during the night - doors weren't locked, this is a massive security oversight!
Noise from railway station announcements and TV from room next door could be heard.
The Sunday breakfast was well stocked and tended. The Monday breakfast ran short of several items.

Convenient, modern with friendly staff. Large hotel near the train station -- the area is quiet and filled with large hotels -- not seedy at all. Best and easy to use public transportation to the old town and Market square area for restaurants, shopping and attractions. Good value for money at this chain of hotels.

My daughter and I stayed for several nights while attending a conference that was hosted in the downstairs conference room. Being adjacent to the Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof, trains to points of interest such as Speyer and Frankfurt and busses and trams to old town Heidelberg were very convenient. We do recommend requesting a room on the opposite side of the hotel as the train tracks because regular passenger service and accompanying PA announcements are incessant from 0500-2400 and then the freight trains take over. The windows are well insulated for sound, but due to the noise (which is to be expected next to a train station), could not be used for ventilation while wanting to sleep. Also, there is an apparently a switch associated with the windows and the air conditioning. A sign informs the tenant that the windows must be closed for the air conditioning to work, but does not inform the user which handle position (out of three) on the window is \"closed,\" so it took us a while to figure out how to configure the windows to cool the room during the warm sunny days of our stay. The above are not complaints, but intended as observations for future visitors.

Also, be certain to sign up for the hotel chain's \"H Rewards\" program to get free local bus and tram day passes.

Hotel is conveniently located next to the train station and area is very walkable. Didn't interact much with staff, as I did a self check-in/out. Rooms a nice and very clean.

Housekeeping is only by request, which I didn't mind. Didn't use the amenities.

For the price and location, I would stay with them again in a heartbeat.

I don’t even know why they have a staff because you have to do everything on a kiosk in the lobby. I didn’t feel safe by punching in all my important numbers right there so we could walk up behind me and steal my numbers my phone number, my birth date, etc. the kiosk spit out your key card , so I didn’t really interact with the personnel at all When I ask them a question they seemed bothered

Very close to the station

Our first room was on the train track side and if the window was closed you couldn't hear the trains, but we had to leave the window open because it was hot and the AC wasn't working in the hotel. They did graciously move us to the other side of the hotel where it was much quieter and cooler.

The hotel is very nice but definitely a business hotel. At check in I was directed to a self service machine despite 2 staff members being available. The rooms are also not serviced unless requested. The room was very hot as the outside temperature was between 10-18 degrees which meant the windows needed to stay open. Being alongside the train station, this meant constant announcements were very loud.

The room was good, very spacious. It was a little noisy with announcements from the train station, but when you stay close to a train station then thats to be expected. Check in, however was very lengthy. There is someone manning the desk, but you have to check in via self check in and the electronic board is painfully slow. We were lucky, there was no-one waiting behind us as we muttered a few expletives. The person behind the desk did ask us if we were ok, but didnt offer to check us in the usual way

I stayed for only two nights, and it was very comfortable and clean. The only downfall was breakfast was not included or coffee, and asked for an extra charge! Why not include breakfast or even just coffee only-- there's no choice given.

The station is about as close as you can get to the train station (next to the bus station too) and overlooks the platforms. Good soundproofing means that you are not disturbed by the almost continuous multi-language station announcements.

One downside is the cost of breakfast which, at 19 Euros, is ridiculously expensive, especially if you just need a snack to start the day. Fortunately the station itself provides many food and drink options so you won't starve!

Noisy - train station announcements wake up

Nice hotel but our room overlooked the train station. The train station announcements started at 6:00 am and sleep was no longer possible. Even though we were on the 6th floor with the windows closed, we could hear every announcement clearly about which trains were arriving on which track, etc. I would not stay here again unless my room faced the opposite direction.

A new hotel with good reception staff , friendly and welcoming.
The rooms have good sound proofing to the outside although internally less so. The furniture like the chairs are very heavy so if someone moves it in another room you can hear it. Equally if a door slams close in a nearby room the walls vibrate, a curse of modern architecture & design. Housekeeping were also noisy is it professional to be talking with each other so loudly.
The room design is pleasant, really good air conditioning with good black out curtains and comfy beds & pillows. Great to have a fridge but a kettle would have been a great addition. The TV didn’t seem to work , switches and plugs at the bed were somewhat hidden as positioned on the side of the bed & black like the surrounding finish.
Location just adjacent to the slightly shabby railway station but convenient for public transport.
Overall depending on price this is an acceptable place to stay with more positives than negatives.

Everything was really great when we arrived, clean, comfortable, air-conditioning was working great and the room was cool. However, during the night the room got hot and stuffy, and uncomfortable. We bring our own fan, and turned it on in the morning, which helped. I don’t know why the AC gave out and we couldn’t figure out how the AC controls worked.

Three night stay in a modern and very clean hotel. Staff were very polite, courteous and professional. Fridge in room and a safe that is always appreciated. Breakfast options were great, varied selection that would cater to most breakfast needs. Shower was powerful and toiletries provided. Downside, it was 27C and the air conditioning was very weak, although it worked poorly, it was adequate to cool the room. I only discovered how weak it was when I stayed in Intercity hotel in Wiesbaden. The AC in my room there was top notch and much more powerful. It was room 238 so maybe have a check on the AC unit in that room. I also asked for a clothes iron (bugeleisen) and after waiting for over 60 minutes it still did not arrive and I had to leave for a meeting. Again in the same hotel chain in Wiesbaden, I asked for a clothes iron at 615am and was told it was already out. So maybe get more irons as 1 for a 200 rooms is simply not enough. The hotel is right next to main train station. The rooms are sound proofed and not one train was heard throughout my stay. The WiFi was good and stayed connected throughout the hotel. It was in an excellent location only a few tram stops or bus stops into the old town. Public transport is less than 100m from the hotel. Overall, a very good stay, relaxing and comfortable enough, just get the AC working better and more clothes iron. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying there again.

Brand new hotel, still needs to work out some issues. The AC in our room didn’t work and it took the staff awhile to very kindly find us a room that did have working AC.

Rooms were exceptionally clean, pillows were great. However the mattress was a bit noisy when ever one of us moved or adjusted sleeping position. No memory foam topper in the mattress to prevent disruption in partner’s sleep.

Fragrance/air freshener used in lobby and elevator was strong and overwhelming, although fortunately not an awful smelling fragrance.

Hotel and rooms have nice decor. Rooms were quiet.

Google and Apple Maps had difficulty pinpointing the location, took us awhile to find even though we were in the vicinity.

ハイデルベル駅の真ん前で交通の便は旧市街に行くにしても電車でどこに行くにしても最高。ただ夜中は駅のアナウンスがよく聞こえるので少し難。駅近なので荷物を預かってもらってハイデルベルクを楽しんで、電車で街を後にする前にホテルに寄ってピックアップもOKでした。

Der Bahnverkehr vor dem Hotel ist laut. Gut schlafen kann man nur bei geschlossenem Fenster. Dann ist es allerdings viel zu warm. Die Klimaanlage schafft Abhilfe - führt allerdings zu Erkältungen!

Der nahe gelegene Bahnhof mit den sehr lauten Durchsagen war bei geöffnetem Fenster sehr störend - doch insgesamt ein sehr feines Hotel - und man kann das Fenster ja auch schließen :-)

Eine Übernachtung, 4 Personen, 3 Zimmer - ganz ok

Pro:
-zentrale Lage, direkt am Bahnhof
-sehr moderne schlichte Einrichtung
-sehr freundliches Personal
-Stellplätze in einer Tiefgarage sind verfügbar, wenn auch sehr wenige
Kontra:
-Klimaanlage war im gesamten Hotel ausgefallen, deshalb musste man bei offenen Fenstern schlafen, wodurch der Bahnhofslärm noch lauter war
-das Frühstücksbuffet wurde ab einer bestimmten Uhrzeit nicht mehr aufgefüllt, sodass sogar Brötchen schon Mangelware waren. Insgesamt war die Auswahl ok, hätte aber auch noch vielfältiger sein können.
-Im Badezimmer war in zwei von drei Zimmern öfters ein unangenehmer Kanalgeruch wahrzunehmen.
In dem dritten Zimmer war die Dusche verstopft und das Wasser lief ins komplette Badezimmer. Ein Handwerker war zu dem Zeitpunkt (Muttertag) nicht zu erreichen.

Alles in allem war der Aufenthalt ok, wenn an den genannten Kontrapunkten noch gearbeitet würde könnte man das Hotel wärmstens empfehlen.

Parken 20€/Tag teuer.
Wir hatten ein Zimmer im 6.Stockwerk - Klimaanlage ungenügend-positiv wäre dass Sie sehr leise war jedoch Kühlung im Zimmer nicht gegeben - bei fast 30Grad nicht gut.
Im Bad Lüftung auch sehr leise - jedoch luft bleibt im Bad stehen.
Leider sehr einprägsam für unseren Aufenthalt.

Sehr schönes, fast neues IC-Hotel. Sauber, direkt am Bahnhof mit guter, direkter Verbindung mit dem Bus in die Altstadt.

Das einzige, was negativ aufgefallen ist, waren die zu wenigen Ablagemöglichkeiten im Bad, das seinerseits aber sonst sehr gut ausgestattet war.

Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert.

Die Klimaanlage hat nicht funktioniert, es war nachts unerträglich warm. Die Lüftung im Badezimmer hat nicht richtig funktioniert. Nach 2 Tagen hat es nach unangenehm nach Abfluss gerochen, zum Glück waren wir nicht länger dort. An der Rezeption kennt keiner andere Parkplätze außer die Hauseigenen für 20€ pro Tag. Nicht nochmal!

Alles sehr sauber, allerdings mussten wir die Fenster öffnen, weil die Klima in keinem der 5 Zimmer funktionierte & wir dadurch alle Ansagen des Bahnhofs hörten. Man muss dazu sagen, dass alle 5 Minuten welche kamen.
