Fantastic rooms for families and in a great location for exploring Heidelberg! Staff were lovely and welcoming and the room is very well equipped. We opted not to go for breakfast so can't comment on the food, but the drinks at the bar were great. Would definitely stay again, by far our best stay in Heidelberg so far!!

Property is nice, or room was very large and comfortable and well equipped. Staff we encountered were mostly the front desk staff. None of them were warm and friendly but they were all fully competent and very effective at their jobs. So I can't say the service was great but neither can I say it wasn't. I guess very effective and business like. Room was very nice by Germany standards.

Great new modern looking property, convenient to the tram, wonderful breakfast, super staff - only downside is the room was a bit dark. If coming from the train station, take tram 5, 21 22, 23 or 25 two stops to Stadtbucherie tram stop and walk 400 feet west very flat. If you want to go to old town, just hop on tram 26 about 200 feet from hotel.

Pros: Staff are lovely and helpful, bar is nice to sit and have a quiet drink, good location. Comfortable bed. Breakfast had a good selection and again the staff were very good.
Cons: Our room (suite) was tired, very dark and stuffy - thankfully the bedroom had a window which opened to air the room as it didn’t feel or smell fresh.. The bathroom was tiny in such a huge space but was adequate.

Overall, very nice, friendly (though overworked—at least at the bar) staff. Rooms nice and modern, but would benefit from a rug here or there (feels a bit cold/empty in parts). Also, room lighting needs to be fixed—super dark and the collection of a 1/2 dozen lamps is unwieldy to operate.

The lobby and bar area are beautiful and it was a pleasure to relax there with a drink in the evenings. They also offer drink vouchers as an incentive to forego room cleaning, this was a nice touch. We were given a handicap room with combo shower/restroom area which wasn't the best for two persons to share the space. TV remote worked inadvertently and room AC control didn't seem operable. We ended up sleeping with the window open for air flow. Main draw for this property was the on site parking.

This was just an outstanding hotel. The front desk was delightful and the room was lovely. The hotel was just set up fabulously and you didn't feel on top of people. I loved that the offered a drink if you didn't use housekeeping that day. The English translation needs to be updated to make it clear that the drink is only good for the day the coupon is given, but the bartender was lovely about it.
Breakfast was amazing. I highly recommend. My daughter is a vegan and had more options than anywhere we've ever been. I am not a vegan and was very happy with all my options as well. It's a beautiful dining room and quiet and lovely to have a relaxing breakfast.

The fitness room was in a sweet attic-type room and busy in the early morning and empty in the evening. They supplied water there.
Be aware that this is just outside the old town. We walked everywhere we went - to old town, the castle, the train station, etc., and everything was easy to get to as it is very flat in Heidelberg, but it is not super close.

Such a beautiful stay. Hotel rooms are clean and spacious. Free parking was super easy to locate over the weekend/evening. Very close to the river and old town/ castle. In our opinion, your hotel is a 4 star hotel and we really loved the architecture & room decor, atrium space, breakfast restaurant space and bar lounge, etc. Amazing breakfast each morning was presented with many fresh food options & drink selections and with very efficient service. This experience reminded us of when we went to a 5 star all-inclusive resort. All staff were fabulous but wanted to recognize Ms. Scholler & Ms. Ilaria Catulo from guest relations and Mr. Oliver Lomas from breakfast restaurant team for their above and beyond service provided to make our staying at NHC very comfortable.
In the future, we will definitely seek out other NHC properties on our future international travels!

Loved this hotel, huge beautiful rooms that feel luxurious, large lobby with lots of lounge areas if you need to work or relax. Breakfast was good. It’s about a 15-20min walk to Heidelberg old town but if you don’t want to walk, there are nearby bus stops. Parking onsite is convenient. Overall I found this hotel excellent value for money

The hotel was beautiful and clean but the air didn’t work well in our room and the bed was hard as a rock. I would stay there again because of the convenience and location.

This is my third time staying and each time the room was a hot mess - literally. There is no way in their rooms (which are always too warm, winter and summer) to control the temperature except for by opening the windows which in Summer means letting in swarms of insects and in winter you have to sleep with the windows open and snow outside.
