I have mixed feelings about the room I got. I booked a VIP suite. Though we did get the suite, it was an accessible room. It was spacious and well furnished, but the bathroom had a kind of \"hospital\" vibe with the accessible shower and toilet... Not the fancy VIP feeling I was expecting...
A coffee machine was available in the kitchen but not the coffee pods... Considering the price of the room, I really think the coffee pods could be included.
Also, the room is equipped with some mood lighting but it was not working properly. To set up the lighting in the bed room, I had to use the command panel located in the living room... Not really convenient. The hotel sent a handyman to try and fix the issue but it dit not work.

If you are a solo traveler and just need a place to lay your head this may be a suitable place. The room is a small box and if you have a companion you will come to know them more intimately than you would expect. The bathroom and shower are literally part of the living quarters and only separated by a frosted glass door (ours door did not shut). They promote the ability to “cast” to their smart TV’s but our was broke and attempts to fix it were unsuccessful. There is no place to sit besides the toilet or bed.
The rooftop pool doesn’t get much sun because there is a rooftop over it. The complimentary breakfast was good and the croissants were fresh and delicious. Don’t get excited about the “2 free drinks” - there are no options, only what they decide to offer. YOTEL is located conveniently to the bayside market place where there is ample sun and seating options.

The bed folded up to a couch. Very uncomfortable. The door to the bathroom did not close. No place to sit other than bed. Tiny room. Expedia website says, “ bay view “ room.
False advertising. This hotel is surrounded by tall buildings on all sides. No bay view anywhere.
Hot water minimal. It is preset and you can’t adjust.
Do not recommend this hotel.

It was terrible. I wouldn’t stay there again. If you paid me all the homeless people everywhere you don’t even get breakfast in the morning for free. It’s ridiculous. You gotta go down the street to get coffee. The only place in the room to sit was the bed the people that work there are rude. They just ignore you. There was no microwave in the room. It was uncomfortable and felt entirely unsafe. I was approached numerous times for cigarettes or money or whatever you could think of by homeless people.

We had a lovely stay at this unique hotel. Check in and out was quick and easy. Our room was comfortable and had all of the necessary amenities along with some bonus perks. The pool and workout facility were amazing for a hotel of this size. The location is very convenient for walking distance shopping and dining. We will definitely stay here again.

The rooms are a little weird with the bathroom being part of the room with only frosted glass encasing it. The bed wasn’t that great as it seemed comparable to a sofa bed. The floor in my room was filthy. I didn’t like the service fees on everything- felt nickeled and dimed. The resort fee was also disappointing, pool usage, WiFi, fitness equipment, etc should just be included. I was given a coupon for a free welcome drink but the only choice was a piña colada made with peanut butter whiskey. Surprisingly, it was pretty tasty. The staff were friendly and the pool area was nice. The location is also convenient.

This is probably the worst hotel I have stayed with in a while. Staff were abysmal, room had dirty socks in corners and there was no desire from staff to rectify. However, having a package delivered was by far my worst mistake. When I asked had it arrived, there was no response. The next morning I had a second package delivered and waited 1 hour in the lobby to retrieve it although I watched it be delivered. Enquired again as to whether the initial package had arrived as I received a notification to be told it'll be looked into. Funds were removed from our room and I had to return post check out as I had a cruise arranged only to be told that the initial package was in fact at the hotel but it could only be released if I pay a holding fee. Just when I thought the place couldn't get more ridiculous. I had to pay $56 to retrieve a package that had been sitting there since I arrived but they failed to hand over although I asked about it multiple times. It was the staffs disinterest and lack of helpfulness which really tarnished our stay. Dirty socks dont help...

We inquired to have a chair in our room. The hostess informed us they did not have chairs in any rooms as they wanted their guests to explore the Miami area. When our kids arrived two days later they had two chairs in their room. I’ve never stayed any hotel /motel without a chair to sit down in.
Your bathroom styles aren’t advertised as they really are set up . Due to modesty of younger teen children we will choose a different place to stay in the future. There isn’t even a chair to lay your clothes to keep them dry so when you get out of the shower there access to them.

The standout for me here were the amenities and the staff. I'd say Yotel Miami is a 2 steps above a corporate type hotel. I usually choose boutique hotels, that have special design, minimalism and great views. I was really disappointed in my first room as the only view in the room faced another building and their open windows. i can usually do a smaller room if the view and aesthetics are great. Ughh i was mortified and wanted to leave! But Luis the manager on duty was amazing. He upgraded my stay and room to a room with a better view and a much larger room. I forgot what it was called but i would warn anyone to always go for the upgraded room when booking if you care about views , space and aesthetics. My first yotel room was very clean nice but blah. The second was more my vibe, bigger, and view was a lot better. i hear that the pads that actually face the bay have great views so if you can get those, go for it. The other big standouts were the rooftop, gym and the food. The rooftop was beautiful and was a great escape from the blah room vibe. It gave me the boutique feel, you expect in miami. the food on the rooftop was great! Try the tempura shrimp. Lastly the GYM! Whoa. I'm a Gym girly and this gym was one of the best gyms i've been to in ANY hotel I've stayed in. So impressive. Again can't say enough about Luis, because i would have missed out. He made me feel seen, heard, was quickly responsive and accommodated me well. It made me feel great. TY Yotel Miami.

The room was clean and spacious, which we appreciated. However, a few additions would improve functionality: an extra table and nightstands with shelves or drawers. I stayed with a friend, and we didn’t have enough space to store our belongings. The same issue came up in the bathroom—there wasn’t enough counter space, and there were no shelves underneath for toiletries.

At check-in, the front desk also didn’t mention the complimentary beach chairs and drinks included with our reservation. We only found out on the second day when my friend recalled seeing it during booking. Once we asked, the front desk provided them, which we appreciated.

The pool is only open until dusk, so not much time to swim, and it doesn't get much sun since it is under a cover.

The bathroom and shower are not in a separate room; they are in the hotel room right by the bed with only frosted glass, so it could be awkward depending on who you are traveling with.

This was one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The property felt unsafe and poorly maintained. The room was dirty, the bed looked old and unappealing, and one of the windows was broken. The overall cleanliness was unacceptable.

There were random people hanging around the hallways and using the elevators, which made the stay feel uncomfortable and unsafe. Trash was visible near the restaurant area, and while the food was extremely expensive, the quality did not match the price at all.

We only stayed one night and canceled as soon as we could because we did not feel comfortable staying longer. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. This was by far the most unpleasant hotel experience I’ve had in Miami.

The king bed is two twins pushed together. The heater would not turn off and the window would not open. We tried to call down to the front desk and no answer. We got up and left as early as we could, took a quick shower because we had no hot water.

The staff was kids of rude add obnoxious we had issues with the elevator. Didn’t know how to work it until one of the staff came and helped us. He was really nice. The rooms I had to be changed three times because of the AC it was extremely high in the room, it wouldn’t go lower than 68 as I have Miami it’s hot in Miami. I find tickets to go purchase a fan in order to be able to sleep. I’m extremely disappointed with the service and also I had to wait three times in line to be able to for them to change my room…😡😡 I also went to the 12th floor to see if I can find something to eat and hostess there practically ignored us so we left had to go purchase food outside of the hotel. Also went to the lobby to see if I could order food and a whole sister did the same thing completely ignored us and attended another man that was sitting there at the bar. Staff needs to be better trained, and realize that acknowledge the customers that are here..🙄😡😡

To whom it may concern, on the night of December 21, 2025, I stayed at the Yotel Hotel. First of all, this hotel does not have its own parking, so you'll end up spending a lot of money on a parking garage that is not affiliated with the hotel. Across from the hotel, there's one that says it costs $45 for 24 hours, and we left the parking garage after only 5 hours and were charged the full $45. Then we returned around 11 pm and left the parking garage at 8 am the next day and were charged another $45. When we arrived, we requested a slightly larger room, and they put us in a room that had a queen bed and a sofa bed, for which they charged us an extra deposit on top of the one I had already paid. ***THIS DEPOSIT HAS NOT BEEN REFUNDED TO ME AS OF TODAY, JANUARY 19, 2026.*** The hotel manager told us the day we checked out that it would take up to two weeks for the refund. The sofa bed sagged at the corners, making it uncomfortable. There is no door between the sofa bed area and the queen bed area, so there is no privacy. Neither area has a closet to store personal belongings. There is a small, portable laundry rack. The bathroom had a used roll of toilet paper in the dispenser. The shower floor is level with the bathroom floor, and a lot of water spills out. Also, the shower curtain sticks to your body while you're showering. There were no extra blankets, sheets, or pillows, and the number of towels was only enough for two people. Even though it was supposed to be a larger

Checking charged me another $40 to use amenities that I was not using. Lights auto come on every time you go to the bathroom, slamming doors , loud and no coffee or way to get it till after 7am. Ridicules for what we paid for one night.
