Very tired building in need of renovation
But mainly let down by a lack of staff, Bar not open
Service in restaurant took for ever- Desert never actually arrived at all, we gave up and went to bed.
Claimed facilities don’t really exist.
Pool is outdoor and not in use. Gym is a converted room with 2 pieces of basic equipment bought from Argos
There are much better hotels in the area.

The room was a good size , clean ,tidy & quiet. Nice desk area to work at.
Staff on reception were very helpful - organising taxis & answering any questions I had on the area. I didn't explore the local area as I was working in the centre of Dusseldorf. The only negative I had was its position in relation to the centre ,traffic is very heavy & the journey can take up to an hour at peak times & a taxi can cost 50 Euro's.

Not our first choice as we wanted to be in Dusseldorf, but music event filled local hotels. It was a fairly comfortable room with some free drinks. Only issue was that the large bed did'nt leave much room to get out between the bed and bathroom wall (25cm). Friendly and helpful staff. Close to local supermarkets and restaurants. Parking at hotel only €3 per night.

Very good experience! Easy to reach, it close to A57. Nicely located at a little creek and very quiet. Very polite and professionelle staff. We enjoyed a 3 nicht stay and are looking forward to our next Trip to Düsseldorf.

Good for a short business trip. Hotel is looking a little tired though. Plus there is extra charges for parking, when there shouldn’t be really.
An old Novotel been revamped. Breakfast however was good and the breakfast team are very welcoming as too are the reception staff

Old hotel.
You have to cross the restaurant to go the swimming pool and there are no changing facilities so people in swimming costume are crossing back and forth the dinning room.
Our shower head was leaky. No air conditioning in our room but you can open the window and listen to trucks on the highway nearby.

Good hotel with clean comfortable rooms (no aircon in mine but only an issue on a rare hot summers night).

Check in and out was as expected. Swift and friendly.

Not much around the hotel but you don't pick his hotel for walks into the city centre. Taxi can be called by the hotel staff.
Overall, it's a decent hotel so long as you don't choose it for walking into the centre.

The hotel was fairly near Düsseldorf airport and had plenty of parking. Staff were helpful and breakfast was good. The room was ok, although could have done with painting as there were dirty marks across the wall but it was clean and tidied everyday. The location was fairly noisy with it being near to busy road and people coming and going in the car park which are room fronted on to. My husband had to ring reception at 4am on our last day and ask if someone could go outside and tell some youths to move on, which they did!

Dont rely on the online description.

I thought this hotel was misleading in its description as it was not in Dusseldorf or in Neuss but in a very unattractive suburb. I had a client with me and when we finally found the hotel the road was a dead end and a gang of men started giving us very unfriendly stares. We felt unsafe and the hotel,if we could get the car to it, looked uninviting. We both decided to drive in Dusseldorf and book a hotel. I paid for the rooms but I am now wary of on line descriptions.

The Hotel was clean , the staff was friendly and spoke English. The problem was if you are trying to get to the tradefair it took an hour by train or cost 40 Euro by cab each way so I don't recommend it if you need to get to the Messe.

There are no restaurants around except the one in the hotel where the food is ok not fantastic.

Hotel was really nice, we stayed there for one night and it was fine, but if you are not coming with a car as we did you are stuck there. It is pretty far from the main town and there is not much to do around. I recommand to come with a car if you plan to stay there.

The hotel can easily be reached by Autobahn, though it is a bit outside Neuss and Duesseldorf center. It is located in a residential area. A few restaurants and a large shopping complex are close by. Our room was spacious, we had free, fast Internet access, and all facilities had been in good shape.

Difficult to Find

This was the least nice Mercure I have stayed in. The room was really cold and there was no way to set the thermostat (there was no thermostat!). It was really difficult to find using both Google Maps and GPS. I usually choose the Mercure because it is easy to find. There was no where convenient to eat except the hotel which was pricier than it should have been. I would not stay here again.

Stayed one night for business, arrived very late (22:30) but was still able to get a hot meal, has small gym which isn't in listing although the outdoor pool was shut. Staff and hotel fine, a bit tricky to find down a small side street but was OK from google map directions. Would stay in again.

The pictures were nothing like the actual hotel. The hotel was located in a not so nice neighborhood and the rooms were dirty and extremely small. Due to the condition of my room I was upgraded to the business suite which was smaller than the first room and just as filthy! I checked out and called hotels.com they reinbursed me and assisted me in getting a new room.

My stay was extremely pleasant, with the staff being most helpful and courteous. I was however disappointed that the hotel was so far out of Duesseldorf central, which meant that we had quite a long commute to get to the Messe every day, where the show was being held. Neuss Norf does not offer much in the way of evening entertainment, that I could see.

Good, clean hotel, but as I did not have own transport had to rely on public transport to get into Dusseldorf city centre. Took about 30 to 40 mins. Food at hotel was great and service good too, all spoke English very well. Rooms very clean and tidy, could have done with more pillows and a bit more firmer. Overall satisfied, but location for me was a bit of a downer.

Hotel does not look like much, as far as the building itself is concerned. 1970ies building, not particularly appealing if you're into architecture.
However, all the facilities and the rooms themselves are of a high standard. Neighbourhood is quiet, service was good.
Restaurant was good as well - very good value for money.

A Very Positive Review!!

I can't say enough about the service at this reasonably-priced hotel. Everyone went out of there way to help us. We had some problems with our luggage arriving late and the front desk people made phone calls for us and translated. They put in a lot of extra effort--more than we asked for. The hotel breakfasts were worth the price and the Putz's, the restaurant up the street from the hotel has good food and very friendly service at fair prices. (Prepaying for the breakfast when you reserve the room will save some money.) The only thing that is difficult about the place is that it is hard to find with really poor signage. Without a GPS you could be within a mile of it and drive around for an hour looking. We were there last year and knew to look for Putz's on the corner, but getting that far still took some doing.

Fas Personal war sehr freundlich und das Zimmer sauber. Parkplätze gab es auch genug und es gibt auch eine Tiefgarage. Über Das Frühstück kann ich nichts berichten weil ich bei einem Freund gefrühstückt habe. Insgesamt war es ein schöner Aufenthalt im Hotel.

Das Zimmer entspricht einer Hotelkategorie von 2 Sternen. Schmuddeliger Teppich, schmutzige Zimmer (vom Vorgänger waren noch Essensreste auf dem Boden). Im Bad funktionierte die Entlüftung nicht, immense Feuchtigkeitsschäden an den Fenstern, keine Klimaanlage, Zimmerzutrittskarte funktioniert mehrmals nicht, keine Utensilien im Bad. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und das Essen gut. Von einem 4 Sterne Hotel ist dieses Objekt sehr weit entfernt.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Hotel

Ich habe das erste mal in dem Hotel übernachtet weil das Gästezimmer der befreundete Familie, nicht zur Verfügung stand. Aus diesem Grund kann ich auch nichts über das Frühstück und dem Restaurant berichten. Ansonsten war ich sehr zu Frieden. Nettes Personal was auf die Wünsche eingeht. Ausreichende Parkplätze und der Preis ist fast unschlagbar. Das Zimmer war groß genug, das Bett sehr gut nur die Dusche etwas klein. Alles sehr sauber und über kleine Gebrauchspuren auf dem Teppich und an der Wand sehe ich hinweg, weil sie mich nicht stören. Insgesamt gefällt mir das Hotel sehr gut und wenn ich bei einem meiner nächsten Besuche in Neuss, wieder ein Hotel besuche werde ich es mit Sicherheit wieder buchen.

Habe schon bessere 4 Sterne Häuser von Mercure gesehen. Badezimmer Boden hatte irgendein Belag nach dem Putzen. Vom Vorgänger war noch Duschzeug im Bad. Sehr laut wegen den Türen beim Schließen und sehr hellhörige Räume/Wände!

Mercure Hotels waren für mich bisher gute Business Hotels. Das hier in Neuss ist leider arg in die Jahre gekommen, was man insbesondere an dem Mobiliar und fleckigen Teppichboden deutlich erkennt. Als „Expedia-Bucher“ bekam ich ein Zimmer in der letzten Ecke (irgendein Anbau, der durch dunkle Gänge und klapprige Türen vom Haupthaus getrennt ist). Eine Rechnung mit MWSt gab es beim Check-out dann nicht, obwohl das bei der Buchung (Bezahlung im Hotel) so vorgesehen war. Nervig. Zum Glück war wenigstens wenig von der Bundesstraße zu hören, an der das Hotel direkt angrenzt, so dass die 1 Nacht ok war.

Unser Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel war sehr angenehm. Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend, wir wurden jederzeit herzlich empfangen. Unser Zimmer, sowie der Frühstückssaal waren sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war auch sehr vielfältig, sogar mit glutenfreiem Angebot. Die einzigen Mankos: Wenn man ein Zimmer in Richtung Hotel Eingang hat, wurde man morgens immer von Lärm geweckt. Außerdem hat uns bei unserem Aufenthalt und einer Außentemperatur von 30 Grad definitiv eine Klimaanlage gefehlt. Jedoch hätte man die Möglichkeit gehabt, von der Rezeption einen Ventilator auszuleihen. Alles in allem würden wir einen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel definitiv weiter empfehlen.

Die Anfahrt mittels Navi war sehr schlecht, da man an der Rückseite des Hotels landet und somit keine Zufahrt zu den Parkplätzen.
