My room was located in an area that was peaceful and sun filled. The bed was very comfortable and ventilation was easy to control. TV selection was very limited with few movie choices and there was no radio. The refrigerator was well stocked and replenished daily. Housekeeping was excellent.

We had a wonderful stay at Iberostar Waves in Jamaica. The property was very clean and well maintained, and the ocean view was absolutely beautiful. It’s a great place for families with toddlers. My son especially loved the pool and had so much fun every day.

I also loved that they offered Jamaican dishes, which made the experience feel more authentic. However, I didn’t like that all the restaurants on the property close between 11am - 12, as it limits dining options. One restaurant should be open at all time.

Overall, it was a great experience, and we would definitely visit again.

Our stay was amazing. We had a great experience all around and our room was upgraded for us upon check in which was really nice. The food was excellent and we loved all the different dining options.

The only con that we didn't like was that the guest services people were really aggressive about trying to up-sell us on different packages and experiences that we were just not interested in. One night we were trying to enjoy the live music in the lobby and the guest services person literally shouted across the room at us to come see her so she could try to sell us something. Overall it was a great experience, that was the only downside to the entire stay.

Staff are understandably going through a lot but their is just no excuse for how bad their behavior was day after day. Irritable, would act like we were putting them out if we asked for a drink at the lobby bar and no matter how many times I tried speaking with prestige club (we are members) the manager never called us back or dealt with any of the situations we reported.

The Hotel had a Wow factor the minute you entered the recption area. Rented an Ocean view room very clean and spacious. The bed and pillows were excellent. The resturant food was good you did not have to worry about bottled water because they had an excellent purification system. There were plenty of things to do if you had kids they had games for them as well.
The staff were very polite and helpful.
Overall an excellent experience.

Staff were fantastic and overcooked red meat at the buffet could be overlooked considering all the available food choices at the resort. Rooms were cleaned every day and we always had extra towels at our disposal. Would definitely recommend if you enjoy a relaxed and laid back vacation with good entertainment for kids and adults. I’d stay here for the beach views, staff and variety of activities and entertainment.

Everything was perfect, I really have no other words but PERFECT. From the upgraded room (for our honeymoon) to the restaurants to the activities to the spa and kitty cat rescue house Everything was Perfect. I couldn't have asked or hoped for anything else. The entire staff was amazing and so helpful and knowledgeable. I loved every second we were there and im so sad im leaving today.

The staff were friendly. The pools were relaxing. The food was good for the most part. Some of the fruit was frozen and thawed not fresh. Definitely visit the ice cream shop! The shows were mediocre at best. The ocean was not good for snorkeling. Rohan at the bar was excellent! Overall a nice resort.

Despite the recent hurricane we had a great time! Entertainment team was lit, rooms were cleaned spotless each day, and food was mostly delicious! Perhaps the biggest drawback that we had was the “timeshare” sales pitch they had us sit through for an hour-hour and an half after our first night there. If you’re not interested in that, decline the free breakfast!

Room was very clean. Wait staff and entertainment crew were very polite and courteous. had 2 rooms on one booking and they roomed us so far apart. we were on different blocks. Tried asking for a change and they said that was it. They couldn't do much because we booked with a third party. Crazy that they treat us like 2nd class because we didnt book directly with the Hotel. They front desk staff gave us the run around, so we just let it be.

our room was great. The cleaning lady always had it done back up so nice. we had problems with our elevator. I have a handicap, but it makes it hard for me to go up and downstairs and four days of our stay the elevator didn’t work and there was really nobody to tell. Tried calling the lobby, but never got an answer. anytime we ate. The staff was so friendly no matter where we ate, and Always took care of all our needs.

Staff was amazing - especially the entertainment team... they made it super fun for everyone.

Food was decent, although the fruits weren't quite up to expectation (some were frozen, etc.).

Pool should be a bit warmer, and some maintenance needs work, but it's also just after the hurricane so makes sense they are playing catchup.

We would definitely go back!

The resort was nice. Good food and great staff. However the beach was very dirty. We had to leave the resort just to go snorkeling. Also, this resort is three resorts in one. Expedia takes pictures of all three, but you only get to use yours unless you want to pay more. Kinda deceiving if you ask me.

Jamaica was still recovering from the hurricane so the resort was not fully occupied (some rooms still being repaired and an elevator and ATM machine not working. The maid service and food were excellent. My bid annoyance was the front desk staff - they were not pleasant nor were they helpful. They put my brother, his wife, and son in a small room with one bed and a pullout couch while putting two teenagers in a large corner room with ocean views and two beds. I couldn't tell if they were mean or incompetent.

We were told by Expedia and Iberostar, prior to leaving...that there were no renovations, everything was open, and beaches were clear.
Rooms were not up to par, electricity was out in many of the hallways and at night it was DARK (so dark my friend roller her ankle with a tool exposed), musty odors in the rooms, elevators weren't all working, and guest services lied to us.

Breakfast and lunch was the exact same every day for 6 days. There are no other options. Very loud all night until 1 or 2am and there is no where to sit unless you get to at 6am and throw a towel on the seats. Staff had hprroble attitudes which we forgave because they are going through a lot in their personal lives but we kept getting the feeling that we were an inconveinance even if it was just asking for a drink from the lobby bar.

The breakfast wasn’t good at all. The desert had no taste. The ice cream was good. The hotel had no WiFi . The smart tv don’t work.Some amenities that you expect at the resort wasn’t there . I do understand the had the storm a month and half ago . We booked vacation before this happened. I feel we should have been compensated in some way . We got early at the resort check in is 3 pm. We didn’t get our room until 2 hours later.

Iberostar is a 4.5/5 star hotel and I appreciated that the hotel was able to accommodate me and my family 2 weeks after the hurricane. As expected there were a few limitations, and obvious damage to certain areas but we still had a fantastic stay.

Building maintenance was going on while we were there. (A little inconvenient but I understand it needs to get done) Rooms were clean and the staff was excellent. Except for Kymonj from the pool bar he spent his time taking shots with the more “party” crowd and ignored the rest of the bar. The resort was fantastic and we enjoyed our time in Jamaica but we will probably try a different resort because of Kymonj

Vacationed with our 10 and 4 y.o. and found this resort to be perfect for our 5 day stay. Rooms were clean even if they could use a refresh and the beds were a bit hard. Food was pretty decent and checked all the boxes for kids. My 2 are little fishes so the pool was the main attraction but there seemed to be TONS for kids under 12. The game room was fun altho ai would suggest training the workers on how to manage the gaming systems for us \"non-gamers\". The staff was friendly and helpful and the location close enough to the airport so all in all the trip was a win!

My husband and I just returned from a 4 night stay at the Waves Rose Hall and we had an absolutely amazing time. This resort truly lives up to its reputation as one of the top choices for families/couples looking for a relaxing and hassle free vacation. The beach is beautiful, with soft, white sand and a great stretch for walking. The pool complex is the real star, a massive, free-form pool with a swim-up bar as well as an activity pool where they keep multiple different activities like pool volleyball. Overall, the food was very very good for an all-inclusive. The buffet was consistently solid with a great variety to select from. The swim-up bar and lobby bar served strong, delicious drinks, and the bartenders were always friendly. The room was quite spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The mini-bar was restocked daily. The entire resort is impeccably clean.
