I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was truly unacceptable.

The cleanliness was extremely poor. In the first room, the chair was dirty, there was dust on the floor, and both the bed sheets and towels were unclean. After requesting a room change, the second room was not much better — the towels were still dirty, there were oil stains on the bed sheets, and even greasy handprints on the bathroom door. Housekeeping standards here are simply terrible.

Room service was incredibly slow — it took forever. I requested towels at 3 PM, and by 10 PM they still had not been delivered.

The food was also awful. Honestly, it was the worst hotel restaurant I have ever experienced.

Service from the staff was very disappointing. At check-in, the front desk told me I could check out at 1 PM. However, on the day of departure, they suddenly said I had to check out at 12 PM, and the attitude was extremely poor.

This Hyatt property was a very bad experience overall, definitely not worth the money. I strongly advise anyone considering staying here to look elsewhere. Almost anywhere else would be better than this place. Save your money and avoid this hotel!!!

Admittedly, we went at the busiest time of year, so sure, pool loungers and umbrellas were in short supply.

Everything else was spot on. We stayed in a Preferred Room, which gave us a much easier check in, access to the lounge and adult pool. The room was wonderful and well appointed and so comfy.

Beach was clean, empty and wildly enjoyable.

The preferred setup was fantastic. The ocean front rooms and the outside tub were special. The room service was a tad slow but worth it. The spa extras were reasonably priced but the hydro massage was not worth the effort. We don't golf but there were many golfers staying there and the course was beautiful. Golf carts were at a premium.

Would be nice if there was more of an activity team throughout the day (pool games, fun things). Night time activities could be improved as there wasn’t much going on after dinner most nights. Large theatre building that wasn’t open or used at all during our stay.
Spa was great but the outdoor water circuit is just too cold to enjoy. Addition of a hot tub may make this better or heat the pool. Access to golf was fantastic. Overall we had an amazing time and would definitely return.

Our stay did not meet expectations, especially considering we booked a Preferred Club room. The room was not ready at arrival, and once we checked in, the floor was dirty and required additional cleaning. The room itself did not feel upgraded, and Preferred Club benefits were unclear and did not justify the added cost. The Preferred pool and spa areas were also consistently cold.
Service throughout the resort was slow and inconsistent. We often had to request basic items like water refills, and communication barriers affected the dining experience. Food quality was disappointing across the buffet, specialty restaurants, and café—many dishes were bland, repetitive, or served cold, and several food safety concerns were observed.
Entertainment options were minimal and not particularly engaging, though the turtle sanctuary and the assistance from Mark at the pool concierge were highlights. The spa provided the best experience, offering excellent service, though at a premium price.
Overall, the resort did not deliver the level of quality, service, or value advertised, and the Preferred Club upgrade did not enhance the experience as expected.

This would be an amazing resort, except for a few things that would make the stay much better.

It would be nice if the lobby had some kind of shutters for the wind as it’s super windy there so much so that you can’t sit up there and enjoy the view.

Again for the lobby bar, it would go a long way to have some kind of music playing, even if it’s not live entertainment.

The worst thing is all the beach/pool chairs are covered in poop all the time.

It would be nice if you could have the chairs washed.

The food is amazing, the staff is super kind.

At the preferred lounge when you took a drink to go, it was given to you in a paper cup, which became super wet and sloppy. Plastic drink ware would be preferable.

Great experience at the hotel. A little upset that there was multiple miscommunication. Thania was great help from the concierge desk but no one communicated with her that they changed our room after she had everything set up for a surprise for my girlfriend’s birthday. Also had a romantic dinner set up and nothing was communicated again I went to go ask if it was ready and no one knew anything about it. Joel at the preferred bar lounge was great he made our stay very memorable very friendly and kind even though working long hours he made sure he took care of us in a caring manner. Overall great stay on the property.

If you plan to travel with your pet, please read this!
I chose this hotel because it was the closest pet-friendly resort to Ciudad Juárez—we wanted our dog to meet the beach for the first time. The listing only said “pet friendly with a fee” and gave no details. After booking a Swim Out Preferred Room, I learned it wasn’t pet friendly. Expedia had to call the property to switch us, and that’s when we learned the rules: pets not allowed in spa, gym, pool, or beach, and they can’t be left alone more than 2 hours.

Upon arrival they welcomed us with a bed, bowls, and toys, but the stay was far from “pet friendly.” At every restaurant we were stopped and managers had to request permission for my 7 lb poodle to enter in her carrier—never allowed to sit on the floor. She wasn’t allowed at restaurants, pool, spa, or beach, and we were even called out for letting her pee on the grass (though no pet relief areas exist). Essentially, the only place she was welcome was our lowest-tier room. The pet fee felt unreasonable for such restrictions.

Other notes: the resort is secluded, 45 minutes from town, with no Ubers (taxis are about $66 USD round trip). Food was excellent, staff friendly, and the resort a nice size—not too big or small. Drinks were disappointing compared to past stays with this chain. Overall, staff was great but management rules and unclear policies made it a poor choice for pet owners.

Limited restaurants and most with non existent ac or comfortable temperature. Be prepare to sweat. Budget cut are obvious everywhere along with 50 percent of the is unfriendly staff. There is no real nightly entertainment. Main pools are nicely heated but there is no real shade available. Timeshare share agents are very annoying and not helpful in any kind of way. I stayed at this facility for 7 nights. Worse Hyatt affiliated property ever

It is a very nice and big property. I like the amenities that came with the upgrade to premium. The swimout room was amazing. The property is very new; however, there seem to be some upkeep problems. The ceiling in the hallway was leaking. Missing tiles in the pool. The room did not seem very clean. There were stains on the tables. There was no entertainment at night, which on their app it shows nightly entertainment. It was a little confusing. The room service was phenomenal. The taste was great. The Mediterranean restaurant was very good. The Mexican restaurant was not very good, and the AC was not working properly. Overall, it was a great stay. The bartenders were amazing. My son and I had a greeat time relaxing.

The $200 credit, is misleading. It’s a coupon book for bottles, romantic dinners, spa service etc broken down into $10,$20,$40 towards the services offered.
We had a private taxi drop us off and pick us up. Staff lacks communication as security was a delay to get onto the property. Location is close to the airport about 15/20min, but 35/40 min from the Centro.
Beach is walkable but there is debris on the shore, and no way you can get in the water the waves are way rough.
Pool staff wasn’t welcoming, ordering drinks was a hassle.
Housekeeping showed up one day for our stay (Friday-Monday).
Food was mediocre, Mazatlan is popular for its seafood and food he ceviche here was a disappointment.
Property needs maintenance.
We also were invited to a “presentation”, little misguiding, we were told 90 minutes which turned into 3 hours. Gift was a spa service for $200 which wasn’t redeemable because they were fully booked the days of our stay and a 2 night stay somewhere which show an expiration date within one month.
We were overall not impressed, and disappointed.
This is more for a family not a couple.
Would not recommend or come back.
Overall we were disappointed.

Me gustó mucho la estancia en el hotel, la mayoría de las cosas fueron muy buenas como la atención, creo que fue lo mejor, todos muy amables, siempre atentos y al pendiente de lo que podíamos necesitar. Los restaurantes temáticos siempre muy buena opción, en general no sufrimos de los tiempos de espera que había en otros comentarios, eso nos gustó mucho. La comodidad en las habitaciones es muy buena Hay cosas que podrían mejorar para hacerlo una experiencia grandiosa (tener más espacios con sombra, una mayor variedad en el buffet, la selección de música en la alberca, la recolección de los platillos del room service, había habitaciones donde eso se veía muy descuidado). Pero las partes buenas superaron por mucho los pequeños inconvenientes que encontramos, creo que es una buena opción para volver

Bad location there is nothing around there the closet store or town is about 15 minutes in taxy and the taxy it has to be from the hotel the minimum charge is 25 dollars,
There is not a safe access to the beach there is always red flag because is a open ocean,
Also the prices for pharmacy,/ store are extremely high 300% more thatn any other store near there i dont recommend any one to go

My room was lovely. Sometimes we had a difficulty of getting into the restaurants because they didn’t take reservations. Therefore, you had to wait in line which can be kind of inconvenience. If you have little ones the main struggle that we had in the property was around the pool because many of the lawn chairs were taken at 6 AM and there was nowhere to sit. This was a problem and extra stress that could’ve been resolved if there was a better policy in place overall the food was great most of the time we ate in the restaurants we did not eat at the buffet often only for breakfast. I do recommend the preferred lounge. The drinks in there were lovely And the bartender was amazing. There is not a lot of entertainment at night so if you’re looking for a quieter hotel, this might be the hotel for you. Otherwise we found that there were not a lot of shows or entertainment or options of things to do in the evening. The location is close to the airport but quite far away from town so you do have to take a taxi to go to town And they can organize that for you if you enjoy golfing the golf course was highly recommended by many people and very well kept there is the turtle sanctuary which is beside the hotel and to visit it. It’s by donation only and that is something need for the kids to see The ocean is quite rough so you cannot swim in the ocean unless you’re an incredibly amazing swimmer as when we were there, the flags were always up encouraging us to avoid swimming in the ocean.

The property was gorgeous. Ocean was very cold and water was rough, so we didn’t do much but play in the sand. The pool was great. Perfect for kids. It was heated, so even when it was chilly, you could swim all day. There was a large area that was about 2 feet deep, so our 4 year old could play and we didn’t have to worry too much. The food was pretty good too. I was surprised by how much I liked all the seafood.

Quiet relaxing resort off the beaten path close to airport. The staff goes out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. We did tip but we felt it was not like they expected it. Staff really appreciated the tips and one of our waiters was SO appreciative and made our night by saying ‘God bless you’. There are no bracelets. The beach is walkable for miles each way and quiet. We saw dolphins daily but you have to watch for them. There are no beach activities like parasailing or jet skis. All rooms are ocean view. We did preferred club which is ocean front. Preferred club has separate pool area & bar but is quiet -no music. There is also a preferred lounge. We also got 2 rounds of free golf with 4 nights preferred booking. The golf course is amazing! At least 6 holes right on the ocean and is in beautiful shape. The club house overlooks the ocean also. We paid $50 for new PXG clubs plus they gave us a free drink. They pick you up at the hotel with golf cart & take you there. We thought the food options were all good. Nice coffee shop. No reservations required at restaurants which was SO nice. Rooms are big and nicely decorated with many amenities. We really enjoyed our stay & would return. We didn’t go to Stone Island but it’s a $30 taxi there and heard it was fun and authentic Mexico experience.

We felt very safe due to two check points to enter the property. Staff was attentive and friendly. There were several meal options, but the World Cafe breakfast was our favorite. The ocean view was beautiful from every room.

I thought the Hotel was really nice. The staff was super friendly. You couldnt ask for a better location. Lots of stuff to do there but we went as a couple and I think the Hotel is better set up for Famlies.
The only negative there I thought is that You can never get change for tipping. So if You go there make sure You have plenty of small bills for tipping.

We stayed for 14 days and it was wonderful. Very quiet until the week of Thanksgiving, then it was so busy. Fatima in housekeeping was fantastic every day. Joel in entertainment was funny and kind. And a special shout out to Oscar who was in my opinion one of the hardest working servers around the pool!! He was awesome! Thanks for the amazing memories Dreams!

Instalaciones de primera pero les falta calidad

El hotel es nuevo y tiene muy bonitas instalaciones, el SPA de primer nivel, los restaurantes muy bonitos, comida aceptable, lo único malo son las bebidas, refrescos y agua mineral sin gas en TODOS los bares y restaurantes, usan refrescos grandes para servir en vasos y en ninguna ocasión me sirvieron un refresco decente, la cerveza igual, aparte de que deberían dar la cerveza local PACIFICO dan Tecate y aparte de nosotros escuché a otros huéspedes quejarse de eso, incluso los meseros dicen que todos los huéspedes piden que cambien de marca de cerveza. Otra cosa que no nos gustó que estuvimos esperando en la puerta del hotel como 25 minutos porque el guardia estaba dejando pasar de a 1 solo carro y tardaban mucho en el registro y en dar acceso al área de lobby (no es culpa de el guardia ya que recibía instrucciones en el radio de como iban pasando los carros)

It was a nice hotel, but overall i think the hotel can do better, our room key wouldnt open the door, and they had us waiting outside our room for over an hour, they should have a master key to open the door, instead they had tu unbolt the door to get it, i know it can happen to anybody, but a hotel that fancy should have other Alternatives to opening a door..

The property is new and they have good facilities, spacious, nice rooms, great activities, shows, events, fun for the family.
However, it is understaffed, hallways are not cleaned at all, dirt, dead bugs and other disgusting stuff (someone vomitted on the stairs) remained there for days even after we called the front desk and reported it. The food at the restaurants is very good but again they are unsedstaffed so even if they try their hardest the service is very poor. For example there were very long lines at the breakfast stations or food items weren't re-stocked in buffets, and in certain restaurants the service was slow. Also, the wines included are only house wines that are terrible, we bought wine everynight. They were very inflexibe about certain things that were irrelevant (not letting us add a two-top table to a six-seat table to accomadate parents because it was against their brand) while missing the boat on big things (vomit on the stairs for 2 days) or housekeeping was good but missed details (dirty cups left in the room or the room-service bin for days) or poor circulation in the gym). Its not a cheap hotel and has a lot of potential to be worth the money so we hope they get their staffing right otherwise it will be a waste of a property.
